Did it make sense, how he knew it? Probably not. But that didn't matter. He knew Van was planning something, something big, and even for all the years he'd spent in the Oracle Knights, he had to stop it.
Maybe he was wrong. Maybe it wasn't so big. He wanted to be wrong, he really did. If he was wrong, that would mean Van's plan would take longer to get into motion. He would have more time to prepare.
But he knew it was coming. He knew Van was planning something, and it had something to do with that- that trash, that dreck that had stolen everything from him. He could feel it. It was building. He had to do something. He had to stop it.
When he realized exactly what it had to be, his heart nearly stopped.
He threw himself into the middle of it the moment it fell into place. But it wasn't enough. He was never enough. Before he knew it, Akzeriuth was gone.
The worst part wasn't that he had failed to stop it. The worst part was that he knew it was only the beginning.
