My Life through the Camera

Soul's POV

Well SHIT!

"No, I just met her!" I answer, laughing awkwardly, Tsubaki just raises and eyebrow at me.

"Uh huh." She nods before walking over to the coat rack and taking her coat from it. "I'm headed out, call me if you need anything."

"Geez you sound like my mom." I chuckle and Tsubaki just lightly smacks me on the arm. "Sorry."

"Bye Soul! Tell Maka I hop she feels well soon."

Tsubaki leaves and I lock the door behind her before heading back to the living room to see that Maka asleep and snoring slightly. I decided because she was out cold that I should probably check up on YouTube stuff. Our duet had already ranked up a bunch of views and likes in the few hours since I posted it. The comments still went a long with the whole 'I ship it' or 'SoMa forever' theme.

Beep Beep!

I pulled my phone out of my pocket at the sound of my ringer going off, it was a text from Black Star.

Yo Soul we still on for gamin tonight? Kid said he's set up the game room so all three tv's have their own game cube and Twilight Princess game already set up! I'm gonna beat you all tonight! Yahoo!

I quickly replied 'Ya, I'll be there at 7.'

It was 5:45 now, I had sometime before I had to get Maka home and head over to Kid's.\

Maka's POV

I woke up at the sound of explosions coming from Soul's computer. I slowly got up and made my way over to his computer and looked over his shoulder to seem him watching a Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess walkthrough.

"I thought cool guys didn't watch walk through's and could complete video games without them." I snicker and I pull out the text he sent me a few days ago.

"We don't, this was the video I recorded of myself playing Twilight Princess a while back. Kid challenged Black Star and I to who could finish Twilight Princess first or who could get the farthest in 12 straight hours." He responds, his eyes still glued to the screen.

"So?"

"So tonight is the night I'm gonna crush their asses so I'm just refreshing my memory with the game." He chuckles, fist pumping the air.

"I want to come!"

"No. Guys only." He answers and I make a pouty face.

"Sexist." I huff as I sit in the chair next to him. His head whips towards me.

"What?!"

"Sexist." I repeat myself.

"I'm not sexist its_"

I cut him off "You don't think a girl could complete a full game of Twilight Princess in 12 hours! Or...is it you're scared I would beat you?"

"Hells to the no!"

"Then let me come and compete."

"Makaaaaa." He whines.

"Soullllllll pleaseeeeee."

I give him puppy dog eyes and he looks back at his compter screen. "Fine." He gives in and I jump up in excitement before sitting back down quickly.

"Stood up to fast." I groan.

Soul just laughs in response.

~At Kid's~

"Hey bro what's up!" Kid greets Soul and they man hug.

"Hi Kid." I smile at him and wave.

"Hi Maka, you ready for a challenge?" He chuckles as he steps aside and let's us in.

"You bet!"

We were lead down stairs and into a giant movie theatre styled room other than instead of one big screen it was 4 giant screens, one on each wall.

"Oh my guild master this is AMAZING!" I look around the room in aaw.

"We start in an hour at exactly 8:00." Kid says before leaving us to set our stuff at our designated spots.

"Symmetry." We mutter at the same time.

Then a loud crash is heard from upstairs. "Black Star." We mutter in unison...again.

"We've gotta stop doing that." We say together before bursting out into laughter.

"YAHOO! I'm was born ready for this, of course the god I am can do this!" Black Star booms as he enters the room. "Oh hey there tiny pickle." Black Star comes over to me and puts me into a head lock and ruffles up my hair.

"Black Star!" I laugh and push him away from me.

"I'm gonna whoop all y'all asses tonight, got it?"

"Shut it Black Star, we all know I'm going to because at least I have a brain that isn't the size of a pea." I laugh and Black Star just turns away and shuns me.

"Someone come up here and help me carry all the food down!" Kid yells from up stairs and I head up stairs to help the OCD teen.

"You have to carry everything down symmetrically so just hold out your arms and I'll hand you the bowls."

I roll my eyes but go along with it.

~7:59~

"3...2...1...GO!" We all yell and start to make our profiles. I'm the first one done and I have already started on the intro to the game.

"You guys are going down!" I taunt. I had already made my way to Ordon with Epona and was going to help Colin's Mom get her basket back.

"Dammit Maka, you're to fast!" Soul growl's he had only just started his way into Ordon.

This was going to be fun.

Sorry it's a little short. It's hard to find time to update and it's even harder to get into typing a story and get a steady schedule going. I think I want to make this story around 50,000+ words. How does that sound? I know I will probably be doing a cheerleading AU sometime soon, I just don't know when.
