"I'm sorry for lying to you." Mike said as he and Lexi walked down to the beach after putting the tracker on Briggs's car. He promised Lexi he'd watch her surf. Normally he'd go surfing with her but he was still recovering from being shot.
"It's ok... I know why you did it. You may have entered this house under false pretenses but you care now... your motives are different. That's what matters now." Lexi said, tying her surfing strap around her ankle.
"Thank you.. for your help." Mike said sincerely. Lexi had told him and Paige about Briggs's suspicious behave but still, her help meant a lot to him.
Lexi smiled and held up her fist. Mike bumped it and Lexi took off into the water. Mike watched Lexi surf as Paige came up to join him.
"So what made you decide to let her in?" Mike asked.
"She let me in." Paige replied.
"I could use some help wrapping up my bird case today." Jakes said as everyone was having some of Johnny's famous pancakes.
"I'll help!" Lexi said. She had helped Jakes out with the birds before and she kinda liked them.
"Sorry can't use you this time Lexi girl, I need someone with a little more muscle." Jakes said.
"I've got nothing on the docket today, I'll help out." Briggs said and Jakes agreed.
Lexi shot a look to Mike and Paige.
"That is one good looking octopus" Paige said in awe as Johnny handed her her pancake.
"Alright Tie-Die challenge me" Johnny said.
"T-Rex with an assault rifle." Lexi said.
Lexi rode in the back seat of Paige's car suppressing giggles as Mike freaked out in the front seat about Paige using the fake baby belly.
Finally they found out where Clayton was and sure enough Briggs was there. Later that day Lexi walked up and knocked on Briggs's bedroom door.
"Come in" came Briggs's voice from the other side. Lexi entered.
"Briggs what's going on?" Lexi asked.
"I don't know you mean." Briggs said nonchalantly.
"Come on, yes you do." Lexi said.
"You're right I do." Briggs said, folding some clothes.
"So..?" Lexi pressed.
"So I don't owe you an explanation. You're just a damn stray." Briggs said coldly.
"I'm a part of this team just as much as you are." Lexi said strongly.
"No you're not." Briggs mumbled.
Lexi didn't feel like getting into this and left.
Lexi, Mike and Paige ran up and searched Juan's car, but they didn't the recording.
"I think the better question is" Mike said, "where the hell is Briggs?"
