Lexi screamed and kicked and struggled with all of her might as the boss man cut into her back. Three men had drug her out of her cage and into a room where they had X-rayed her back. At first they didn't see anything but at the last-minute one of the men thought he did so they pulled up her shirt and held her to the ground. A man on each arm and one struggling to hold her legs. Lexi tried to keep her mind on the present but it was almost impossible as history repeated itself. She screamed out Donnie's name. Praying for him to break down the door and rescue her again.

"There's nothing here. It was just a shadow on the X-ray you must have seen. Take her back." The boss man said.

The men pulled Lexi's shirt back down over her body, picked her up by her arms and legs and put her back in her cage.

Lexi curled up into a little ball and cried. No one is coming for me...

"How far you taking this Chuck?" Briggs asked Charlie as they stood on the beach.

"Straight to the end baby, straight to the end." Charlie said with a cool smile. "I got this flame burning in me, ever since we found out she's alive... I'm taking this to the end. For Lexi."

"You, upstairs, now." Paige said with exhaustion in her voice as she walked through the front door.

Briggs and Mike exchanged looks before Mike followed Paige upstairs. As Mike entered Paige's room he noticed she was wearing Lexi's locket.

"I tried to call Lauren and Donnie today. To tell them that Lexi's alive. I dialed their number over and over again.. I just couldn't press the send button." Paige said.

"Why?" Mike asked. Why not end their mourning.

"Because with the way things are being handled Lexi might not be alive by the time we get to her." Paige said coldly.

Didn't she know how hard he was trying? How much he wanted to end it all now. But he couldn't. This was what the job was sometimes. But he was trying. Not just for Lexi.. but for Paige as well. Mike thought.

"Buy her. Buy them. Buy all of them. He's taken your money once, he'll do it again." Paige said desperately.

"That will cost a million dollars." Mike said.

"1.5 million... if you included Lexi." Paige said.

"Sign it and file it so we can set them free and bring Lexi home." Paige said. "Or I'm going to hurt you."

And with that, she slammed the door in his face.

"No! She doesn't want to go! She doesn't wanna be alone with that family!" Johnny said. Trying to make Jakes and Mike understand about Lucia.

What he wished he could tell them was that he was in love with her... and that she had suffered enough and they should just let her be free. He wished Lexi was here.. she'd understand. She'd tell them that Johnny was right. Tie-Die knew what it was like living in a dangerous family. She would have understood.

Briggs's heart almost stopped when he saw Kelly laying on the ground by her husband's grave with a broken bottle of vodka beside her. Briggs got her to her feet and pulled her with him as he walked. He didn't bother to think or look sideways. All he could think about was making sure Kelly was going to be ok.

"Will you get me a cheese burger and everything in the cash register?" Amber asked.

"You want everything on it?" Charlie asked as she felt the cold metal of the shotgun in her hands.

"Surprise me." Amber said. She had a crazy and wild look in her eye.

Charlie swallowed and marched toward the bar. "To the end" she whispered to herself.

"The cash stays here and so do I." Mike said.

Words went back and forth between Mike and the man. Mike eyed the room, looking for Lexi, but he did not see her.

Finally he and the man came to an agreement.

"Pick a room." The man told Mike.

Mike walked around the building peeking through the windows of the rooms, looking for Lexi. She had to be here somewhere. Finally.. he saw her. She was in a large dog cage. She was crumpled up on the floor of it, asleep. Mike carefully and quietly opened the door, entered the room, and closed the door behind him. Once it was closed he dashed towards the cage.

"Lexi.. Lexi...Lexi" Mike said in a loud whisper.

At first Lexi didn't move but after a long heavy second her eyes fluttered open.

Mike breathed out when he saw her bright tie-died eyes. He hadn't realized he had been holding his breath.

Lexi didn't get up. A smile slowly spread across her face and Mike could see tears starting to form in her eyes.

"Mike.." She breathed. "You came for me."

"You bet I did." Mike said with a smile as he examined the lock on the cage door.

"Is Paige ok?" Lexi whispered.

Mike smiled as he inspected the lock. Same old selfless Lexi.. always thinking of others.

"Yeah she's ok. She's safe." Mike told her.

"Good." Lexi said.

"I loosened the bolts on the side." Lexi whispered.

Mike saw and nodded. He looked back at Lexi. She was slowly starting to push herself into a sitting position. She looked pale. Something was wrong.

"Lexi.. are you ok? What's wrong?" Mike said.

"They hurt me." Lexi replied softly. "They..."

She didn't finish her sentence.

"Ok.. ok... I'm gonna get you out of here." Mike breathed out as he turned to look over his shoulder back at the door.

"When?" Lexi whispered tearfully as Mike turned back to her.

"I don't know..." Mike said sorrowfully. "But I will. I promise you.. whatever it takes.. I'm going to get you home."

Lexi reached through the bars and took Mike's hand in hers. She gave it a weak squeeze as she looked deep into Mike's eyes. "I know you will."
