HOLLOW. That is the exact opposite of what I'm feeling at the moment. OVERWHELMED-YES, but in a good way, if that makes sense. How could it NOT be a good thing, she feels the same way. I lay on my bed with my eyes wide open; she currently occupies my heart, there was no denying that. I closed my eyes and SHE was all I could see, like a melody I couldn't get her out of my head, almost on repeat and the thing is, I didn't want to get the green-eyed girl off my mind…I never wanted her melody to stop. So what am I so afraid of?
BECAUSE…YOU'VE NEVER FELT THIS WAY BEFORE.
It was going to be one of those nights. The kind where you just couldn't sleep because all you could think about was the one person you wanted to fall asleep with. It was almost as if I didn't WANT to fall asleep without HER. I turned to my side, my eyes drifting to my desk to the rose that Lauren gave to me; I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.
I got up and sat at my desk, my eyes scanning the beautiful rose in front of me…yellow with a red tip, hmmm, I opened my laptop and began to search…

I leaned back on my chair, pulling my knees to my chest, my eyes reading it over and over again. I could feel my lips pulling to my eyes as I took a deep breath, my heart swelling…YELLOW with a RED TIP.

"Mila!" I peeked around my locker door to see Ally jog towards me.
"Hey Ally," I said putting my books away and grabbing the one I needed for fourth period. "Where's Mani?"
"Class, she has a test, she's pretty antsy." The shorter girl giggled. "Well have a good day, lets hope the rest goes by fast!"
I laughed as well, Mani gets pretty crazy when it comes to her academics, "that's right, her test. Seriously right? Alright, I'll see you later Ally." I said to her before she walked down the hall, towards her class.
I closed my locker shut as my eyes, turned to the left; down the hall to the porcelain skin girl I haven't seen today. I could feel my brown orbs narrow and I could feel the tingles run down my back just at the sight of her, she's beautiful. She had on dark blue skinny jeans, a white tee that said 'NO PANTS ARE THE BEST PANTS'…she WOULD! I chuckled to myself, and of course her letterman jacket. I could feel my lips pull to my eyes as my pearly whites made an appearance. I was in complete awe of the green-eyed girl; she didn't even know it.

I'm sitting in class and it's pointless because my head isn't here. There's no way I could pay attention even if I wanted to! All my mind continued to do was wander and it wandered to the brown-eyed girl I'd miss for most of today. I haven't seen Camz ALLL DAAY, I haven't heard from her at all. Maybe asking her to Formal was a bad idea. I shook my head, scrunching my eyebrows together-NO, I want to go with HER, ONLY HER. Besides, what would be the point of feeling the way I do and NOT doing anything about it…that would be STUPID!
THINKING ABOUT IT, SHE'S THINKING ABOUT IT.
The suspense is killing me! What if she says 'NO'! I could feel my stomach knot up, ugh.

I was leaning against my car, hands in my letterman jacket pockets, waiting for Camz.
I'M NERVOUS.
There was no hiding that. I don't know her answer; I haven't really prepared myself for a 'NO'. You're fine, just keep calm, talk to her, and see where this goes.
I looked at my watch, she should be here by now, I look back up and my green eyes were consumed by the beautiful brunette walking towards me, one hand behind her back.
WHY IS HER HAND BEHIND HER BACK?
I could feel my half smile come through as she walked closer and closer.
"Hi Lauren," she let out so sweetly before leaning in to kiss my cheek.
OH GOSH!
I could feel the heat rush to my cheeks, "hey Camz, missed you today." I couldn't contain my smile, "so…what's up?"
STAY COOL…stay cool.
"I got you something," she said pulling a lavender rose from behind her back, handing it to me.
"Camz," yes, there is a ridiculous smile plastered across my face and I'm speechless.
"I'm sorry Lauren."
"Sorry," I closed the little gap between us, placing my left hand on her waist, "sorry for what?" her shimmering brown orbs locked with mine.
"For not being honest with you," she bit her bottom lip, "for hesitating," she shook her head. "I think the reason I did was because I KNEW, I knew that if I said 'YES', like I wanted to, that it would be admitting that I've," she paused, taking a deep breath.
"…you can tell me anything Camz," I squeezed her waist.
"That I'd be admitting to myself that I've fallen for you." I couldn't help but flash her a toothless smile, "and there would be no turning back." She flashed me a half smile.
I can't remember the last time she's been like this with me…COMPLETELY OPEN, just BEAUTIFUL.
"So," she slightly threw her hand up, "I'm here now," she wrapped her arms around my neck, her brown eyes a little more intense, "giving you that lavender rose because you have absolutely enchanted me and I'm a little lost, but that's okay," I watched her lips pull to her eyes, "Lauren…"
I could feel my chest pumping as she placed her forehead onto mine, "yes Camz?" I breathed out.
"Will you go to Formal with me?"
I was smiling from ear to ear, "I'd love to go to Formal with you."
She leaned in, pushing me against the car; she was so close I could smell her natural scent, like fresh flowers on a Sunday morning, which caused my heartbeat to pick up. Her big brown eyes glimmering into mine before her soft, warm full lips crashed onto my own. Sweet, fiery cinnamon invading my taste buds-BIG RED GUM, I smiled into her kiss for a split second before moving my lips along with hers once again. The warmth of her lips sent electricity throughout my entire body as I pulled her closer and she engulfed me. Her wet, tender lips stayed meshing with mine and the kiss was nothing like I had imagined, it was better; it was gentle and filled with passion.
We naturally parted, both our breaths at a rapid pace as my green eyes stayed locked with shiny brown orbs that captivated me. It was almost as if the world had stopped turning, no other movements, no other sounds, it was just the two of us.
