~You-u-u-u-u-u got me good
I-i-i-i-i-i-i
You-u-u-u-u-u
I like this right here.
Word on the street is that you're single
So, so baby have you heard my single?
It goes la di-da and it hits like a symbol
I drew a heart with my finger on your window.
What's up?
Even with your hair up
Girl, what's up?
Even in your sweat pants
Girl, what's up?
Even when you wake without any make-up, I'm in love.~
Camila's P.O.V.
Maybe it's the style of her hair, long, milk chocolate locks flowing down her back; she's wearing a beanie again, this time black. Maybe it's the shape of her eyes, gosh what color are they? Light brown-NO, there's a hint of green…maybe hazel, hmm, yeah green, depends on what she's wearing though, gosh why did I have to sit so far! Whatever color they are, it doesn't even matter, it's the way she stares whenever she addresses me, like she's staring straight into my soul, I mean, how DOES she do that?
"I know what you guys are thinking," I watched her walk around the stage waving her hands around, "it's MODERN art, why are we talking about deceased painters," she said sarcastically letting out a funny little laugh-ADORABLE, "well, because without THEM, art wouldn't have evolved into what it is now."
What is it about her? I don't know, but she has me zeroed in and it has only been one week of class!
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME?
She's so passionate, the way she speaks or maybe it's the way her lips move whenever she speaks or maybe it's her hand gestures and the way she gets so excited every time someone actually has an opinion, it's cute, yeah cute.
WHY CAN'T I STOP STARING AT HER LIPS?
"Van Gogh, Munch, Goya," she gestured with her left hand, "what do these painters have in common? Come on guys?" she smiled, her reddish-pink lips spread across her face-MAYBE IT'S HER SMILE.
Whatever IT IS, it's as if every time I walk into class, I come up with something else to admire about her.
"No one? Oh come on…take a wild guess! I'd rather you guys guess than remain quiet." She said pinching the bridge of her nose.
"They're all crazies." I whispered under my breath.
"Camila!" her husky voice shot out like a gun causing me to straighten my posture in my chair.
CRAP…did I say that out loud?
She crossed her arms tilting her head, amused colored eyes-still not sure what color-penetrated through me, I was engrossed. "You were saying something…" her lips curved to a half smile.
I stood up; my brown eyes scanned the auditorium before landing on a pair of bright colored ones-DAMMIT! What color are her eyes? "'There is no great genius without a mixture of madness.'" Her color eyes narrowed as her half smile turned into a full blown one. "They're all crazy, I mean, you kind of have to be right? To be so passionate about something, you kind of HAVE to be crazy." I said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes, the class lightly laughing.
Yeah, I'm pretty charming-TRUE STORY.
The bell rang as everyone gathered their things, "okay class, don't forget to read chapter 4 and have a good weekend!" I began to put my things in my book bag, "Camila, can I see you before you leave?" She said from the stage near the podium.
I walked down the isle, up the steps near the podium, her back to me, "Ms. Jauregui?" she turned around-GREEN, yes they're green, like a smoky gray-green color, the color almost intoxicating, if that makes sense.
"Quoting Aristotle…" she crossed her arms, flashing me a flirtatious half smile, okay, I don't know if she meant it to be flirtatious, but DAMN and along with her mesmerizing green-gray eyes, and I'm dead…yup pretty sure I'm dead. "Are you sure you're seventeen?" she let out a chuckle.
"The last time I checked yeah," I smiled right back, "but I'll be eighteen in a month!"
She's right in front of you, you don't need to yell-SMOOTH.
She let out a laugh, "that must be where the genius is coming from then, I just wanted to tell you good job today." she said going through some papers.
I rolled my eyes playfully as a reflex, my peripherals catching the time-SHIT! Practice! "Is that the time, ah I'm late!" I scrunched my face, somewhat apologetically at her, not really sure why, "cheer practice."
"Have a good weekend Camila." her tone raspy, my name rolling off her tongue so…I don't know, enticingly.
I bolted down the isle, "Ms. Jauregui!" her green eyes looked in my direction as I backpedaled, "you still owe me a cookie!" I turned around pushing the door open and walking out.

Well maybe I could be your next boy.
And just remember that you're better than the rest.~
I jogged towards the grass area near the track as the girls were beginning their formation.
"Mila, you're REALLY late." Ally said stretching.
"I know, I got held up in class, thanks for being the best assistant captain there is." I flopped down next to her, stretching my legs.
"Are you coming out with us tonight Mila?" Normani asked.
"Ugh! I REALLY want to, but I'm so behind on my schoolwork with having an extra class, I'll probably just do homework most of the weekend." I pouted at my best friends.
"That alright, just get your shit done and we'll party next weekend!" Dinah said, her tone upbeat.
An hour into practice and we had gone through a few routines and formations. I carefully watched some of the new girls and made sure they weren't off beat or distracted by the guys running around the track.
"Okay ladies, let's do it again." I said clapping my hands as I felt arms wrap around my body, causing me to turn around.
"Hey," he kissed my lips, "haven't seen you all day." Austin said with a sad face.
"Yeah, sorry, I've been REALLY busy."
"I thought you were gonna meet me at my locker after 7th period?"
TOTALLY FORGOT.
"I got held up in class, I'm so sorry, forgive me?" I flashed him a half smile.
Why do I feel guilty? I didn't even do anything…what is WRONG with me!
"Yeah," he kissed my cheek, "of course, I better get back before coach sees me, see you tonight right?"
"I can't tonight, I need to catch up on some school work," he looked down, "I'll make it up to you?" I said squeezing his hand.
~So baby, what's up?
Even in work clothes
Girl, what's up?
You know how to wear clothes
Girl, what's up?
Girl, you got me lost in your eyes, I'm in paradise
What's up!

I found myself at the University library, why, because it's open twenty-four hours a day and it's already almost 11pm and I'm still here, doing homework. Hey, I'm on a roll might as well knock them all out. Thank goodness there's a café in here, it's powering me through all this!
"Here you go," I didn't even look up, I was still reading a section for philosophy class, "a medium hot chocolate," I was so captivated by this passage I was reading, my eyes stayed glued on it, "and two chocolate chip cookies."
Oooo COOKIES! I love cookies-WAIT, I didn't order cookies.
My head shot up, "excuse me miss, as much as I'd love to eat these," damn you honesty, "I didn't order these."
"She sent them." She pointed to a table across the café area, my eyes following in that direction.
Ms. Jauregui…I could feel my lips pull to my eyes, they were suddenly more awake than they were a second ago.
~I wanna know what it feels like,
To run my fingers through you hair!
I wanna know what drives you wild,
Cause baby we could drive it there.
Tell me that I'm dreaming
No, I don't wanna wake up
U-uuuuh.
So tired of the same old things
I'ma need something new in my life.
So tired of the same old games
Think it's my time I start feeling right.~
There she was, eyes in a textbook, coffee in one hand. She looked different, no beanie, her hair freely running down her back, leather jacket, dark blue skinny jeans, black Nike high-tops and a plain white shirt, so simple, but her outfit complimented her, that's for sure. Looking at her now, I would never guess she was a teacher. I threw my book bag over my shoulder, grabbed my hot chocolate, bag of cookies and my philosophy book and headed across the café area.
"Umm…Ms. Jauregui." her porcelain face turned upwards at me, FLAWLESS, even without any make up on, absolutely beautiful, her tired green eyes locked with mine.
"Camila," she smiled, "I see you got the cookies…finally" she chuckled so sweetly.
"Better late than never right?" I smiled.
"Please," she gestured to the seat in front of her as I sat down, "and it's Lauren, we're not at school."
LAUREN, it fits her…it's beautiful.
"Plato's Symposium, impressive, are you SURRREEE you're seventeen?" she shot me a half smile, her green eyes glistening as she tilted her head.
I chuckled, "alright Mssss-, I mean, Lauren, how old are you?" I took a sip of my hot chocolate, "I mean, you," I pointed my finger at her playfully, "…are you sure you're NOT seventeen?"
She laughed-I made her laugh.
"Close, but no, I'm not seventeen." She sipped her coffee.
This is the part where you tell me you're age.
"So are you just gonna keep me guessing or…" I said teasingly as I leaned in a little closer, slightly on the table.
"Maybe," she leaned in a little closer, smirking, "you have to admit," she leaned over a little more, almost off her seat, "it's a bit more fun this way." She whispered, her smoldering green eyes intensely staring into mine and I could feel my heart thumping, I think everyone in here can hear my heart thumping.
Is she reaching for my hand?
She grabbed a cookie and sat back in her seat, taking a bite, chewing with a smile, "hey! You bought those for me!"
"There's another one in there for you," she laughed, taking another bite, "I just turned twenty."
TWENTY! Well…hmm, twenty.
"Twenty," I took a bite of my cookie, "this is delicious…twenty, how are you even a teacher?"
"Student teacher, I'm still continuing education." She smiled before popping the last bit of cookie in her mouth.
"Now that, that's impressive." I flashed her a toothless smile.
"Gosh, it's almost midnight," she glanced at her watch, "do you need a ride?"
"Uhh, yeah sure." I smiled as we both headed outside.
We walked a few paces side by side in silence. I occasionally would bump into her and she would just chuckle and look at me with those eyes, occasionally bumping me back…are we flirting with each other? I'm not really sure, but she makes me feel something…giddy, funny, NEW…yeah something new.
We finally stopped, but I don't see a car, "ahhh," I looked around, "where's your car?" I wiggled my eyebrows.
"Right here," she walked a few more feet, standing next to a Ducati.
NO WAY, NOT GETTING ON THAT THING-NO!
"A bike?" I perked an eyebrow; she never mentioned a motorcycle!
"Not just any bike, the fastest," she said holding out a helmet, I doubt I'm hiding the nervousness that well, "you'll be fine, trust me, I know what I'm doing." She flashed me that half smile, her green eyes piercing, her arm still holding the helmet.
There's no way I'm saying NO to those eyes, they got me GOOD, SHE'S got me good…so I didn't, I grabbed the helmet.
