"You know, there's something about this popcorn that tastes funny..." A male Meowstic admitted as he was munching on 'funny' flavored popcorn.
A female Meowstic, who was munching on cheddar flavored popcorn, looked at him oddly. "Why would it taste funny?"
"...Because it's making me laugh!" The male Meowstic admitted as he began laughing his head off, holding onto his bag of popcorn as he couldn't stop himself.
One of the green colored Piranha Plants noticed this as he turned to Petey Piranha, pointing at the Meowstic customers. "Hey, uh, boss? You're gonna do anything about this?"
Petey shook his head in response as he was making a new batch of hot, buttery popcorn. "Nah. I'll let them be." He then turned the heat up just slightly, only for the entire microwave to explode as Petey and the piranha plant were blasted high into the night sky alongside a huge load of popcorn, with everyone else buried in popcorn. Lakithunder and Cheepskipper passed by, both of the NSMB bosses looking at each other as they were confused by the muffled laughter they heard underneath the popcorn.
"What's so funny about popcorn?" Cheepskipper asked as he squinted to see who were making the laughing sounds.
Lakithunder smirked as he moved his hands around. "Something about popcorn pops your funny bone, I guess."
Cheepskipper glared angrily at Lakithunder as the laughter stopped. Lakithunder frowned as he shook his head, both bosses continuing on with their walk.
