~I don't think I'm gonna go to LA anymore

I don't think I'm gonna go to LA anymore

I don't know what its like to land and not race through your door

I don't think I'm gonna go to LA anymore

I don't think I'm gonna go to LA anymore

I'm not sure that I really ever could

Hold on to your hotel key in your bedroom neighborhood

Me sleep-walkin in Hollywood

I'm gonna steer clear

I'd burn up in your atmosphere

I'm gonna steer clear

Cause I'd die if I saw you

I'd die if i didn't see you there

So i don't think I'm gonna go to LA anymore~

The door opened and Lauren locked eyes with her best friend Normani, "Lauren…." she exhaled, pulling the porcelain skin girl into a hug, "I'm so happy you're here," they parted as Normani grabbed her best friend's shoulders, looking into uneasy green eyes, "it really means a lot to me that you made it," she smiled so sweetly.

Lauren felt a little guilty, that's for sure, for not being at the things she should have been at. Ever since she and Camila broke up it's been hard for the green-eyed girl to attend anything, any event that had a chance of the younger girl being there, she didn't go. She missed both Dinah and Ally's birthdays, work events and other important things, I HAD to make this one, she thought looking into her best friend's eyes, a subtle smile creeping on her face, I WANTED to. For awhile she tried to completely erase Camila from her mind, drowning herself in work, random friends, whatever, whoever it was, the fair skin brunette was glad to accept the invitation, but it only lasted for so long.

***Flashback***

"Baby," the green-eyed girl pulled into a driveway, putting the car in park, "seriously, no peeking! I mean it Camz!"

"Lauren…" she pouted, her lips so enticing the older girl had to lean in and kiss her, "mmmm," she smiled, "not fair babe, when can I take this off," she pointed at the bandana wrapped around her eyes.

"Soon baby," Lauren rubbed her nose against the younger girl's, "I promise, it's worth it."

She dragged Camila through the house and onto the balcony slowly removing the caramel skin beauty's bandana, her eyes batting a few times to adjust to the sun that kissed the blue-green ocean surface.

"Lo…" the older brunette wrapped her arms around Camila's thin waist, kissing her cheek, "it's beautiful," her brown eyes glued to the view in front of her.

"It's YOURS," she whispered into her ear, "I mean, OURS, this house, if you like it…I'll buy it, for us."

Camila slowly turned around, her eyebrows furrowed as she threw her arms around Lauren's neck, "baby…what do you mean you'll buy it, this house is WAAAYYY too expensive Lo…" she perked an eyebrow, "I can tell, the view alone is worth millions," she wiggled her brows, "and with YOU in it…well, even more than that," she winked playfully at her girlfriend, meshing their lips together.

"I made partner." The taller brunette let out with a smile spread across her face.

"Wait…" brown eyes grew wide, "you what? LAUREN!" she jumped on her girlfriend, wrapping her legs around the porcelain skin girl's waist, two strong arms holding the petite brunette up, "awww babe…" Camila kept attacking Lauren's lips, "I knew you could do it, I love you so much," she kissed her again.

Lauren slowly laid her on one of the balcony furniture recliners, their lips never parting, "I couldn't have done this without you Camz, I love you," she smiled into loving brown eyes.

~I don't think I'm gonna go to LA anymore

I'd get lost on the boulevard

Without your voice to tell me I love you take a right

the ten and the two is the loneliest sight

I'm gonna steer clear

I'd burn up in your atmosphere

I'm gonna steer clear

Cause I'd die if I saw you

I'd die if I didn't see you~

Lauren walked into a barely lit dining room, the candles barely flickering as they slowly were dying down.

Her green eyes met sad brown eyes that were still sitting at the empty dining room table, "you're late…again Lauren," Camila stood up, her eyes glossy as she took a deep breath.

"Camila…" Lauren closed the gap between them, placing the flowers she had in her hand on the dining room table, reaching out for the younger brunette's hand, but the younger girl stepped back, not wanting to be touched, "Camz I'm working on a really important case right now and-"

"And it's obviously more important than our anniversary," she shook her head; tears streaming down her face, "sometimes…" the brown-eyed girl swallowed the lump in her throat, her sobs uncontrollable, she could barely see through her drowning eyes, "sometimes I wish I didn't love you anymore."

Lauren's heart broke as the words echoed in her ears, prompting her to close the gap between them and she pulled the petite brunette into an embrace and Camila tried to push her off, but it was no used, the taller brunette's grip was too tight, "I love you so much Camila, I'm sorry, I'll be better, I promise," she kissed her forehead, "I promise…I'll be better."

But it didn't get better.

***End of Flashback***

~I'm gonna steer clear, oh yeah

I'd burn up in your atmosphere

I'm gonna steer clear

Cause I'd die if i saw you

I'd die if I didn't see you there

See you there

Think I'm gonna stay, gonna stay in the gray

Think I'm gonna stay (gonna stay)

And the street lights say nevermind, nevermind

And the canyon lines say nevermind

The sunset says we see this all the time, nevermind

Never you mind~

Lauren managed to muster up a smile, "I wouldn't miss it for the world," she let out with a smile holding up a bottle of red wine as they both made their way inside.

"Lauren!" Dinah screamed, jumping off the couch, pulling the brunette into a huge hug, the kind that suffocated you.

The porcelain skin beauty began to choke, "it's nice to see you too Dinah," she smiled as she choked; it was really nice to feel her friend's hug.

"Hey, don't kill her before I get a hug in!" Ally said gleefully before pulling Lauren into a hug.

I missed them, I missed us, I'm glad I came, she thought as they slowly parted, smiles on everyone's face.

Lauren raised her hands, still holding the wine bottle…"hey, hey, there's PLENTY of Lauren to go around," she said teasingly, so charismatic as they all began to chuckle.

"Hi Lauren…" a voice she hasn't heard in months let out, causing her breathing to stop for a moment, her heart was aching because she missed her so much.

***Flashback***

Lauren's eyebrows furrowed as she faced Normani, "who IS that?" she said closing her textbook standing up, looking around the big tree they were sitting under.

"Who's what?" Normani shook her head, confused.

"That laugh," Lauren kept walking, her eyes roaming the benches a few feet away as Normani stood up next to her.

Green eyes locked on an unfamiliar brunette who was laughing with couple of her friends, completely hypnotizing the green-eyed girl, "THAT…who is that?"

"The new girl, I have her for math, she's friends with Dinah and Ally, summer camp or something," Normani said as her gaze turned towards Lauren who was still staring at the brown-eyed beauty.

"Introduce me," Lauren locked eyes with her best friend, "introduced me," her eyes widening as she grabbed Normani's hand walking towards the three girls laughing.

"What the heck," Normani whispered, "what am I suppose to say?"

"You're smart…" Lauren continued to drag her, "you'll figure it out," she whispered back.

"Ahem" Normani cleared her throat, "hey Ally, do you happen to have notes for history, I completely spazzed and didn't take any."

Nicely done, Lauren thought to herself as she smiled at her best friend, Normani flashing her a disdained look.

"Hey Ally…Dinah," Lauren gave them the head nod.

"Hey Lauren," they both said in unison, everyone knew Lauren Jauregui; she was THE popular girl.

"And you are…" Lauren turned her attention to the new girl, her dark chocolate locks slightly moving with the wind, her brown orbs mesmerizing and for a moment, the green-eyed girl couldn't breathe.

"Camila…" she let out and at that instant, Lauren swore that perfection had invaded her ears, "Camila Cabello," she extended her hands, shaking that of the older girl's, sending electricity through her body.

PERFECT.

***End of Flashback***

~Wherever I go, Whatever I do

I wonder where I am in my relationship to you

Wherever you go, Wherever you are

I watch your life play out in pictures from afar

Wherever I go, Whatever I do

I wonder where I am in my relationship to you

Wherever you go, Wherever you are

I watch that pretty life play out in pictures from afar~

Lauren never knew perfection until she heard Camila speak for the first time, but now it was different, listening to her say the simple things, it pierced the green-eyed girl's heart, it was a lot harder than she thought it would be, hearing her voice. She was so happy to see the girl she was still very much in love with for the first time in so long, but she was also in pain, still heartbroken over HER, over them.

"…Camz."
