"Oh, how I just love popcorn," Shulk stated as he was munching away on some cheddar popcorn.

"Me too!" Added the gassy Tiny Kong, farting tuba toots as she munched away on large batches of buttery popcorn that she chowed down on, having quite a big appetite that fueled her giant farts in spite of her name.

"Yo, Petey!" Lakithunder called out as he was on the side of the counter where the different Piranha Plants were selling popcorn. "I got some shocking news!"

After munching his way through a giant bunch of popcorn, Petey Piranha approached Lakithunder, patting his stomach. "I'm all ears... even though I have none!" He laughed heartily like an old sea captain.

"...right. Anyway, I got word that there's an outlet mall being constructed here in Seaside Hill right now!" Lakithunder remarked as he moved his hands. "Normally, this wouldn't seem like a problem, but the shocking thing is that it's having all the big name corporations like McDonald's and Wendy's there! It could zap all us small businesses out of the market! Just thinking about it sparks the hell out of me, and not in a good way!"

"Wait... are they all coming here, to take away from us?" Petey gasped as he dropped his jaw in disbelief, with the two Mario bosses taking their chat to a different part of the popcorn parlor. "This is troubling!"

"Indeed, it is." Stated Chrom as he approached the two bosses while munching away on a set of fish sticks. "Which is why I propose we all do something to stop this. Are you with me, for the sake of saving Seaside Hill?"

"You know it!" Petey stated as he gave Chrom a high five, glancing to his right to see that Lakithunder was left hanging. "...Why are you waiting for a taxi?"

Lakithunder sighed as he shook his head, feeling left out once again as Petey went back to make more popcorn, while Lakithunder and Chrom chatted with each other some more.

Petey Piranha watched the various racers drift by in the rainy Neo Bowser City as he was selling popcorn there, deciding to do what the others were doing as a way to expand his business.

"Soggy popcorn, come get your gross and soggy popcorn here!" Petey exclaimed as he waved the wet bags containing wetter popcorn.

Dry Bowser pulled up in his gray Mercedes car as he simply shook his wet, boney head. "I know desperate times call for desperate measures, Pete, but seriously...?" He was then broken into various pieces by a rogue Bowser Shell, with Bowser Junior laughing as he drove by in his Junior Klown Kar, using it as a kart.

"And just what are you two love birds doing?" Petey Piranha asked both of the avatars named Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening as he was at the Fire Emblem arena selling popcorn to the audience watching the various Smash matches.

"We're trying to pair people up to support our fan needs!" Male Robin explained as he moved his hands about.

"Yeah, it's pretty fun and funny!" Female Robin remarked as she held her hands together while giggling.

Petey just stared at the two Robins blankly as he held up two cartons of nacho flavored popcorn. "So... whose up for some popcorn?"

Both Robins thought about it, but they were then trampled by the many human visitors who were feeling hungry, paying Petey a huge amount of money to try his unique popcorn offerings.

Petey Piranha was at Bowser's Fiery Subway Bar in Princess Peach's castle, being impressed at how the King of the Koopas was managing his sub business.

"So, I take it that you're enjoying making subs for everyone?" Petey suggested as he moved his big leaves around.

Bowser laughed as he placed his hands on his hips. "Gwa ha ha! Of course! This entire business thing was such a good move on my part! I should have done this earlier!"

"...well, I got something to show you!" Petey exclaimed as he grabbed Bowser and then soared high into the sky, breaking through Peach's Castle and causing it to collapse as he began flying westward, reaching Seaside Hill and showing off his popcorn parlor. "Doesn't it look great? You could expand your sub business to your castle and make it stand out more!"

"Err, yeah I guess." Bowser admitted with a shrug, screaming as he flailed his arms due to Petey accidentally releasing him, the Koopa King landing in a batch of buttery popcorn as he was now completely covered in popcorn.

"Oops," Petey sheepishly admitted as he shrugged, shaking his head in response as he dove into the buttery popcorn to munch away at it, due to it taking up a bit too much space at the parlor.
