As we walked further down the hallway towards the holding cell where Mystic was being held Arceus attempted to make small talk "Matthew may I ask what happened when you went outside of our domain?" she asked and I turned my head slightly towards her "Mystic and Chains couldn't control their hormone levels and I nearly fell victim to it. Thinking you would all go through similar stages I did the thing that came naturally to me, get out and come back when everything calms down enough." I replied seeing Arceus look at me "Matthew when we go into our heat yes we do become violent and assertive however it only lasts a week most of the time."

I nodded at her words "so how is Mystic holding up?" I asked seeing Arceus looking at me suspiciously "Mystic isn't doing so well judging only on the screams of pain and terror we heard come from within her holding area. Speaking of which he we are." She said and I was staring straight into what looked to be a marble solitary confinement door "she's in here?" I asked and as soon as the words left my mouth the door began to get hit constantly "Matthew is that you?" I heard Mystic say through the door as I slowly walked closer and unhooked the hatch. "Yes Mystic it's me, step back I'm coming in." I said as I slowly opened the door enough for me to slip inside before it closed behind me and pitch black darkness surrounded me.

"Matthew where are you?" I heard Mystic ask as I heard her stepping closer as I focused on a raging wildfire in the middle of summer as I held my hand up in front of me and pressed my first finger against my thumb and made a motion as if I was lighting a lighter and a small pure golden flame appeared where the contact happened "this any better Mystic?" I asked raising the light slightly as I heard movement behind me "Matthew, help me." I heard Mystic say in such desperation I nearly lost focus as I turned around slowly. Standing in front of me now was a horrible sight, it was Mystic but she looked like she had walked into a murder as it happened in the same moment.

Her fur was no longer the sleek midnight black but rather it was ebony as her eyes held no light in them as if nothing mattered to her anymore. However the worst was still to happen as she stepped fully into the light, her face looked like a skull or a death mask with the skin stretched to give it the appearance of life and dried blood lined the corners of her mouth to her chin and it stained the fur on her chest. Her mouth was showing a heart-warming smile however. I slowly let the flame fly free of my hand to hover near the ceiling seeing a corner of the room stained red with what was most likely Mystics blood. "Mystic I'm sorry. However I must ask you what do you remember before being put in here?"

Mystic looked at the ceiling seemingly lost in thought before she spoke "the last thing I remember is staring at the sword you had on you when you returned, then I remember seeming to wake up here however before being in here what I saw was terrifying. Matthew what's wrong with me?" she asked as she looked back at me desperately "Mystic nothing is wrong with you, the sword itself I know very little of. Maybe your type just has a connection with it. However I can only hope you understand that you need to stay here just to make sure that it never happens again. I'm sorry Mystic I really am it wasn't my choice." I said as Mystic walked closer slowly.

"Matthew I never got to truly apologize for what happened. I can only hope you understand that I didn't have control over it and honestly if you don't forgive me I will understand. You don't need to be sorry Matthew because it wasn't your fault that this happened. However I must ask how chains is doing because I can't see her." Mystic said as I let a small smile show on my face "she's fine however she's…changed." I said as Mystic made her way towards me as I stopped her at arm's length "Matthew please answer me what happened to me to deserve being in here." Mystic begged as I slowly looked into her eyes "Mystic you changed, you became a true dark being, something which I have had experience with however it seems to be taking advantage of everyone I know that I count as a friend and companion."

Mystic gasped as she stepped back away from me as she put her shaky hands in front of her as she looked up at me "Matthew help me, please I never asked for this." Mystic begged with a fresh wave of tears starting to form at her eyes as I straightened my face "Mystic we all will help you, you just need to calm down. Alright, I know you didn't ask for any of this to happen however things happen in life where some things you don't want to happen, happen. We all have to live with it; I myself know how hard it is to live with what fate gave me until I met everyone here. Moltress excluded. Blaze can be debated. However in order for us to help you, you must agree to undergo a training program where I teach you what to do in case of this thing trying to take over you again."

My stance changed after Mystic pulled my arm away from stopping her from coming any closer as she stepped closer and wrapped her arms around me "Matthew I accept these terms. How much longer will I have to remain in here?" she asked as I slowly pulled her off me "after Arceus and the others decide Mystic, I can't influence them however if you wish next time I arrive I'll bring Chains with me." I said as she let go of me and nodded "thank you Matthew, I'll wait for then. Before you go however can I ask you something?" she seemed stressed out when she said it as her eyes slowly flickered in the life that they once held before going out again.

"Of course Mystic ask away." I said my head slowly starting to fill with a fog like haze that seemed to cloud my judgement as I slowly realised what had happened "how come you choose Chains over me?" she asked with slight anger in her voice however there was also a deeper feeling, one I heard too many times to be mistaken (she wants me to bring Chains here so that she can try to either set either one of us up or both of us or she could just want to play nice until she's let out.) I finally answered her "Mystic I didn't choose anyone. I just didn't find any reasons against her doing what she did. So don't say I choose her okay because I never choose anyone."

I walked away from her until my back hit the door and I hit it three times as I slipped out and almost walked right into Chains. I stopped myself as we were almost nose to nose as I looked away before stepping back. I made an attempt to move but Chains managed to trap me in her arms from behind as the palms of her hands rested directly over my heart. I also felt her head on my right shoulder her warm breath blowing across my neck sending an electric like chill up my spine before I pushed out of her grip my breath caught in my chest finally being let out as I breathed heavily as Chains put her hand on my left shoulder before pulling me around to face her.

I saw it coming but was still kind of surprised when Chains pulled me towards her and gently pushed her lips against mine. However it lasted only a second as Chains pulled back to look at me in the eyes. "Matthew how's Mystic?" she asked as I stared into her own blood red eyes "Chains she's scared, however the thing that took over her body put physical strain on her body, she's looked better I'll say that. However it appeared to have torn apart the mental barriers all beings have, it separates us from the demonic beings looking to take the physical form and use it for their own desires. It did more damage than I thought." I thought aloud before I felt Chains wrap her arms around me resting her head on my left shoulder.

I sighed as I relaxed into Chains' grip. I felt like every worry that I'd ever had was slowly ebbing away from my mind as Chains spoke "you need to rest Matthew, you've done so much already. Relax a little; nothing's going to happen to you. Just relax and have a normal day Matthew." Her voice held an emotion I thought I'd never hear again. However the short moment was ruined as Moltress walked around the corner in a human form, she was wearing a bright yellow robe with orange and red flame patterns woven into it as she locked eyes with me I could see her eyes flash in anger as I got ready to fight by tensing up. Chains noticed and let go of me and turned around to see Moltress glaring at both of us.

"You have corrupted us human. But I'm feeling generous today, you live for now." I smiled despite the anger that was welling up inside me "when you can hurt me it will be the day Arceus herself dies. So don't bother talking to me anymore. Because if all you're going to do is make empty threats then you clearly aren't worth my time." I responded seeing her eyes flash briefly with hurt before she turned her back to me and walked away. I sighed as she continued to walk away as Chains put her arm around my shoulders before putting her head on my side. I absentmindedly stroked her back as we stood there, until someone coughed behind us scaring Chains enough to let go and widen her eyes.

I smiled as I turned around only to stare into ice blue eyes "you really don't know it do you human? Or should I call you Leone." She said as I stepped back to see it was Articuno, she had the same robe as Moltress except hers was an ice blue and ocean blue snowflakes were woven into it. I sighed quietly before speaking "Articuno you must be mistaken. I was named Matthew and the only nickname I have is Matt. I have no idea what you're on about." She smiled as Chains walked over to my side again and stared at Articuno. "Leone is the name you had before you were put on that place. You used to be a good friend to us all, Moltress took you leaving extremely hard. You now look somewhat like you did all those years ago."

I stepped back again this time looking at Articuno with confusion "what you're saying is making no sense to me. I never knew this place until a few weeks ago, so why do you say that I've been here before?" I said making sure I had heard correctly. "You may not remember it but you were here before, all the legends remember you. Maybe Moltress just is having a hard time accepting it like you are. Haven't you found it weird that you out of all the other male humans on that planet are brought here? There were plenty of other choices if Rachel wanted to but she chose you. She always wanted you back here Leone, you just need to remember. We all will help you with doing so."

I sighed as I was about to start talking again the light flickered before dimming down slightly "oh come the fuck on don't make me do this." I said only to hear a voice I never thought I'd here again "Matthew, help me. It hurts." The voice was one I knew when I was younger and as I turned around I saw her, a young girl that looked to be around four years old with shoulder length brown hair with the same ocean blue eyes. Her cheeks were stained with tears until something I never wanted to see again appeared behind her in a ball of smoke. His pitch black demonic eyes and sharp fangs were easy to identify him. "Miss me?" he said in a friendly manner which I knew was a lie.

"Don't make me repeat what happened last time this happened. You still think you can mess with me by showing me, taunting me that you took her from me. That's not her, no matter what you've told it to say I will tell you that the Astra I knew wouldn't tell me anything hurts. She also never would ask for help; especially with her rival." I replied feeling my heart start to beat so fast it nearly hurt "this isn't last time; I've been promoted to the third ring Matthew. And last time you barely got me." He said his smile widening to the killer smile he wore the same night he took Astra. "You know what you are right about one thing. I'll give you that you, a demon, is correct on one thing that is true and not a lie. I'm impressed."

He tilted his head in confusion as I smiled back at him as his smile faltered "what are you so happy about Matthew?" he asked his voice becoming more demonic with every word spoken from him "just your own demise." I replied seeing him look at the floor and the walls "there's no seal, you can't possibly win." He said as I smiled and looked behind him "not alone I cannot win, but with the power untrusted into me by powers stronger than yours and by your superior which I can still call upon to banish you and tear your miserable soul to pieces. Even if I have to go along with it." I said seeing it look at me with its eyes widening in fear before he laughed.

Nevertheless I raised my hand as small pitch black flames started to appear in the palm of my hand as I began "Netara Na mintera monterana Ina marataru nironaga migo. Anol mira nijo tekaresi an meabeth David hon mabathon lorella." I chanted slowly my voice sounding far deeper and with a deeper snarling in the background as the beast began to sink into the floor. I began walking forward as only his torso and head were visible as I slowly knelt down to stare into his pitch black demonic eyes as I said my final words to him "I'll get Astra, and then I'll find you, Nargoth and whoever else has taken something they shouldn't have and turned them into your own personal slaves. Then when I'm done I'm going to find your leader and send him here for his proper trails."

My words rung throughout the hall before I felt Chains put her hand on my shoulder before the demon raised his clawed hands and grasped me around my neck "you already belong to us, you're just another worthless soul that got lucky. It won't happen again." He snarled as he had his hands ripped off of his arms by a glowing golden sword before it was brought down on his head. Cleanly splitting it in two and I watched as it slowly evaporated into dust and sunk through the floor as well. "Matthew are you alright?" I heard Arceus ask as I sank to my knees staring at where the demon had sunk through the floor not really seeing anything "I'll come for you Astra. No matter what happens to me I'll come and get you."

I sighed as I finally closed my eyes and felt a hand fall upon my shoulder "Leone what happened to you?" I heard from behind me as a small gasp left Arceus' mouth as I was suddenly being hugged from behind by her "Leone is it really you? Have you come back to us?" she asked as I smiled slightly "one question at a time please. Now to answer the first question I learned a few things in my time on earth. I'm still coming to terms with being here before but if you think I have the repressed memories than I might be this Leone you speak of." I said feeling Arceus wrap her arms tighter around my torso before a low growl met my ears and I smiled "Chains come here."

She did as I asked and when she was standing in front of me I managed to reach up and wrap my own arms around her bringing her to my chest as I stared into her eyes as she stared back. I heard Arceus gasp as I guessed she had seen Chains' eyes. I managed to pry her arms off of me as I stood up to turn around and stare at her. Her eyes were wide with shock as she stepped forward "Leone this is too quick. Something's off." She said as I smiled "if it tells of a conflict maybe that conflict is approaching faster than you anticipated so it's merely preparing me at the same speed. And the fact that Chains has the same power indicates that if it is a conflict then I will need all the help I can get."

I managed to smile despite the fear showing in both legends faces as I turned around to see Chains' eye colour had changed to a deep ocean blue "Matthew, I mean Leone what just happened?" she asked as I walked over to her and grasped her shoulders tightly "close your eyes Chains and tell me what you see. Concentrate on what you think just happened and tell me what you see." I said soothingly as she did as she was asked and closed her eyes "I see, thousands of dark shapes. A darker mist with, glowing red eyes and, a golden faceplate. It's a male and he's, laughing as the shapes surround a being on the ground, it's hard to see who the figure is because of how blurry he is. It's clearing up now and he…no, I won't let this happen."

I sighed quietly "just tell me Chains who it is that you are seeing, we can prevent it if you just tell us who it is." I said as she opened her eyes and looked at me "it was you Matthew, you had your blood everywhere as he laughed at you. I want to find out who wants to do this and burn his insides and throw him to hell." I sighed at her words "it won't do Chains. I know who you're talking about; Giratina is who you saw with the faceplate. He wants me to suffer apparently by according to what you said. So I guess we need to improve some things around here, trust is a big thing that needs to be worked on and also fighting capabilities in groups and as one. I have an idea. It will take time but if it goes according to how I think it will he won't stand a chance."

I smirked as I heard a dull thump sound from the door as Mystic probably put her ear to the door to listen "Leone what do you mean?" Arceus asked as I slowly lowered my head "you told me to use these eyes for the good Arceus, so I'm doing just that." I said as I began to walk away with Chains at my side with her head lightly on my shoulder. I began to slowly reach my arm around chains and rest it on her shoulder and pull her slightly closer to me. "Matthew why do they now call you Leone?" Chains questioned me as we walked into my quarters and laid eyes on the sword which was glowing a dark yellow before fading completely and it just laid there on the floor motionless.

"Chains, stay close to me. If that colour was what I think it was he knows what you've seen and is going to try and get you, I think you saw me trying to protect you. However the dim glow is probably him finding traces of my energy to track me. I guess I won't be getting any sleep tonight." I said as Chains gripped me tighter and a guttural growl was heard. I slowly looked around the room before it happened again this time I recognised it's position being under the bed. I slowly walked towards it before dropping onto my hands and knees slowly looking under the bed seeing nothing but glowing red eyes "come out before I make you come out." I said firmly as it seemed to smile and a Seviper slither out from under my bed.

"it seems like he was right, I finally get a challenge." He said as I sighed and without warning he tried to strike and bite into my neck going for the kill quickly as I managed to lean back enough for him to barely miss and grab him by his neck as I slowly gripped tighter and tighter. "You thought you could kill me. As well as I must commend you for having your little partner trying to sneak up behind Chains I must say that you both lack creativity which keeps them guessing. So I'll deal with you, you tell me what I want to know and you live. Don't and I will slowly eat the flesh from your bones as I slowly smiled looking at him as I tilted my head slightly making him slowly start to shake in fear.

I watched as he tried to speak and finally found his voice after many failed attempts "what do you, wish to know?" he asked and I couldn't help but widen my smile and tilt my head further "just who sent you and why you were sent to my living quarters exactly." I answered and he nodded before smiling as I sensed something coming at me from behind. I slowly rose my hand up and managed to lean out of its way to grab it between my first and second finger seeing that it was a small dart with a dark liquid in it "you know I bet this has enough in it to kill you and your buddy in one drop. So now you'll tell me what I want to know now that you know that your life is on the line."

I straightened my face as I slowly inched the dart closer to the neck seeing him shake fiercely only to eventually as I was about to pierce his skin he spoke "alright. We were sent here by orders of the one in a vision he sent you, we were meant to make sure it came true. We had no choice, we had been forced to serve him because he took everything from us and he said that for your capture that he would give us back everything that we had taken from us." He spoke as fear was in every word as I sighed "you do realize he played you? He wasn't giving anything back no matter what you did. You could kill Arceus and he wouldn't give you your pet mightyena even if you begged him."

I saw his eyes widen as he lowered his head "then just get it over with, please." He said quietly as I nodded slowly "my blessings go with you friend, until we meet again, amen." I said as he smiled as I made the dart pierce his neck "Amen" he whispered back and then his head fell limp and his body became heavier as I pulled the dart from his neck to turn around only to see Chains except she didn't look right to me "Chains are you alright?" I asked seeing her smile and walk closer "I couldn't be better Matthew." She answered before winking slowly at me (okay this feels off.) I thought as I raised the dart and cleared my mind and with my spare hand I touched the amulet of Arceus and then things went downhill.

Well I'm glad that this could be completed and don't worry the November chapter will come out. This isn't it this is just the October chapter that I forgot to upload last night when it was finished. So I hope that this is good enough and made a few of you smile because of pm's saying "what will happen to Mystic?" well now they know she's just fine however remember thing's aren't always what they seem. As Mark Twain once said "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on, or by imbeciles who really mean it." Which is one of my favourite quotes to go by now however when I was a young and foolish lad I remember going with another one of his quotes "Kindness is the Language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."
