Ana's POV

'Christian… although it seems like a good idea… ok… I have to say it! I am sceptical! We know how it works Christian!'

'She said she wants to try… and I think she's willing to do it this time Ana…' He tried again.

'I don't know… What has your father suggested?' I asked again.

'He's talking to her… he wants to see for himself…'

'Yes, but what does Carrick thinks about this?'

'He told me it's a positive sign… but I don't know…' He tried again. '…but we have to trust her, we have to make her realise that we're going to catch her and help her whenever she falls.' He continued as Carrick joined us.

Christian's POV

'Dad…'

'Christian, Ana, I think we should talk…' He started as he quickly took a seat and brought out few papers.

'What is it dad?' I asked as both Ana and I took a seat holding each other's hand.

'I talked to Sera… and she is willing to do this without any feeding tube… but… you have to be extra careful. It's going to be harder because you'll be having your mealtimes in public places, and we all know how she deals with public.'

'What do you suggest?'

'Well… for starters, this is the strict diet she has to follow… no leniency… no giving in to her negotiations. I have to enforce this… you have to be the ones that control this…' He started as he handed us the papers. 'I'm also prescribing some medications for any stomach pains, and another medication that will help her appetite.' He continued.

'What if she doesn't like any particular food?' Ana asked.

'Well, we can't afford that she doesn't like something… unfortunately she has to gain the weight and this is the only way… If you see that she is not eating and that she's resisting, I have to emphasise this, and make sure you follow it… I'm writing a letter that if God forbid this happens you have to go straight to hospital to put her back on the feeding tube. They have everything written in here…'

'So you removed it?'

'Yes… she convinced me, but I'm still sceptical.' He answered back as Ana gave me the 'I told you so' look. 'I've also prescribed something to help her sleep. She needs it and make sure that she has one before she goes to sleep. She'll crash soon enough at this rate…'

'Carrick, you know she doesn't like sleeping pills.'

'These aren't sleeping pills… Atarax treats anxiety disorders, but one of the side effects is that it makes the one having the medication very sleepy. I'm going for the side effect rather than anxiety disorder.' He explained gently. 'At what time are you leaving?'

'In less than an hour now…'

'Good… You all need the rest, Grace sent all her love.'

'Why didn't she come?'

'She took my shift Christian…' He smiled as he put on his suit jacket. 'Would you like us to take care of the mail and everything while you'll be abroad?'

'If it's not of any inconvenience...'

'Consider it done Christian…' He smiled. 'I should go… Your sister decided to appoint me as her personal driver whilst her car is at repairs.'

'You could have told us Carrick, we would have voluntarily provided a driver.'

'No need Ana… You know Mia can be… She doesn't trust anyone.'

'She's still the same… isn't she?' I chuckled.

'You think Christian?' He replied while joining in. 'She has a new boyfriend and believe me, she's head over heels over him.'

'Again?'

'Yeah… I'm tired of telling her not to fall hard!'

'She's young Carrick…'

'Yeah… but I'm not Ana… I feel that she's taking away years and years from what I have left…' He smiled again.

'My rebellious term doesn't seem so bad does it dad?' I teased.

'Yeah… keep dreaming Christian…' He gave me his stern look. 'I really have to go. Please take care of my granddaughter… when you come back visit.'

'We'll sure do dad…' I smiled.

'We'll be waiting…'

'Ana, do you have everything?' I asked her as I took the last two luggage from our room.'

'Yes… Do you have the passports?'

'They're already ready in the hand luggage.'

'Good…' She smiled.' I'll go get our daughter…'

Sera's POV

'No need to mum…' I smiled as I joined them in the living room. 'I'm ready…'

'Are you excited?' She asked me as she hugged me.

'I am a bit…' I smiled. 'Dad, don't forget those ear popping things for you…'

'Yeah… I was going to forget them.' He replied as Taylor came in.

'Christian the car is ready loaded.'

'Good… Let's go…' He smiled as we all made our way out.

I finally learnt what my parents love truly meant. They started building what they had left, and I'm glad I was around to see them becoming stronger and back onto their feet. We were finally a family again, and this trip would help us more. I decided to let them stay in the back seat where they could talk privately, while I remained on the passenger seat with Taylor, and Sawyer was in another car behind us. Damn all this security! It's not like we're going to be abducted or something.

'Sera…' Taylor took me out of my thoughts.

'Yes…' I smiled.

'Thank you…'

'For what?'

'For forgiving Natalie… you don't know how much that means to me and her for the matter.'

'I know Taylor…'

'Hey are you ok?'

'Mhmm…' I smiled. 'I was thinking… my parent's anniversary is soon here… I thought maybe you could help me sneak out and buy them something? Please?' I asked as he pulled in the parking lot, and parked the 4x4 SUV.

'What did you have in mind?'

'I thought on getting them a voucher for a romantic dinner for two… and maybe a night without me…'

'Well, the dinner sounds good but you know they won't accept the night… right?'

'What do you suggest?'

'I'll think of something kiddo…' He smiled. '…and then I'll tell you.'

'Ok…'

'Come on… we're here…' He smiled as he opened his door and we all made our way to the airport.

I took my mother's side, and while Sawyer and Taylor took care of all the luggage, and dad went to check in, mum and I decided to start working on our Holiday Project Book Pictures. It was always our thing. We vlogged everything, from the time that we went into the airport till we arrived back home. We started taking pictures of us and the airport itself, and some of dad doing his usual job. However he soon joined us.

'I see that you started with the project…' He smiled as he took the camera from mum's hands and took a picture of both of us. 'There are my two girls.' He added.

'Sir, luggage is loaded.' Sawyer notified dad.

'Good.' He smiled as he handed him the camera. 'Here, take a picture of us.' He continued while we mum dad took their position and mum pulled me between them.

'Done sir…'

'Thank you Sawyer…' Mum replied as she took the camera back.

'Come on… let's go…' Dad smiled as he took me from my shoulders and guided me to metal detector thing with mum following by his side still holding hand in hand.

Soon we were on the plane. As usual… first class seating was booked. Dad always wanted the best, and I must say, they were nice. Mum and dad took their seats while I made my way to the bathroom before flying. I always felt uncomfortable in doing my natural duties while flying. I guess it's because of the excitement of going on holiday.

I looked towards the mirror, and realized that maybe this would be a new chapter in my life. A chapter where I can look ahead without having to look back on anything. Yes, the past had moulded me into what I am today, but that doesn't mean I should be stuck in there. I finally could feel that things were starting to get better, and I could feel myself truly smile. I made my way out, but soon collided with someone making him drop everything from his hands.

'I'm very sorry!' I started as I went down picking up the reading books.

'Don't worry…' A nice, kind male voice answered back as his hand brushed against mine. I looked towards me, and I swallowed my tongue. I didn't know what to answer. I was too shocked on what had happened. I quickly stood up and handed him everything.

'I'm very sorry.' I finally chocked out.

'I'm sorry, I should have been looking were I'm going.' He smiled back as he held his hand forward for me to shake it. 'I'm Eric Christenfeld.' He smiled.

'I'm Sera Grey…' I smiled back as I shook it gently yet firmly. I couldn't help but smile inside. I liked this guy. 'You have quite interesting books there…' I smiled again yet still shaking our hands.

'Yeah… I love literature. That's why my family and I are going to London, it will help me for my literature major.'

'That's great…' I smiled back, as I realized that we still were shaking hands. 'Um…' I tried.

'Sorry…' He replied.

'London you said?'

'Yes…' He smiled. 'The birthplace and live of Shakespeare.'

'I love Shakespeare.'

'Are you working on your literature major too?' He asked intrigued.

'No, I'm a science student… but I love literature too.' I smiled back. 'My family and I are taking a break from our hectic life and we're taking a holiday.'

'That's great…' He replied. 'Where are you staying?'

'I'm… I don't want to be rude… but I don't really know you and my father has this obsession with not trusting strangers…'

'You're right… I came on too hard…' He smiled while dad came from behind him.

'Sera, are you alright?' He asked me as he took me protectively from my shoulders. 'Your mother and I were getting worried.'

'Sorry dad… I bumped into Eric Christenfeld…' I introduced him.

'Your father is Christian Grey?' He asked astonished as he shook hands with dad, while he glared at him sternly.

'Yepps… In persona…' I smiled.

'…Christenfeld as in Chirtenfeld Company limited?' Dad asked.

'Yes Mr. Grey…' He replied as the air hostess notified us that we all should take our seat and fasten our belts.

'Sera, we should get back…' Dad replied in his CEO voice.

'It was nice meeting you Sera…' He smiled again.

'You too Eric…' I smiled back as I waved lightly and made my way back with dad with the dreamiest smile on my face. I quickly fastened my belt and rested my chin on the palm of my hand that was resting on my elbow on the table. I kept looking at Eric from behind. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He was Caucasian and had the reddest sweet lips I've ever noticed in a guy. They were pinkish red. His smile seemed genuine, and deep down I knew I was crushing over him. He was tall and lean yet nicely muscular and I couldn't help but wonder how a guy like him would be interested in literature… especially Shakespeare… I guess people can cease to amaze!

Christian's POV

I kept looking at her, and I couldn't help but notice the smile she had on her face. It was the smile that she likes someone. I knew this was going to happen someday or another. She had a light blush on her face and her eyes were dilated. She was looking at Eric. He seemed nice… and I could see that they managed to make a light conversation. I realized, she had the same features Ana had when she was crushing on me. Like mother like daughter. I lightly nudged Ana with my elbow, and she also realised what was happening. She smiled at the scene…

'Sera…' I called her gently as the plane took off, but she was still day dreaming and staring at the guy. 'Sera!' I tried again, this time waving in front of her eyes.

'Yeah…' She replied as she turned her gaze to me.

'Are you ok?'

'Mhmm…' She smiled.

'I think somebody has a crush…' Ana teased.

'No…' She quickly disagreed. 'I don't… Who me? A crush? On whom mum?' She reacted.

'I think on some guy named Eric…' I added.

'Dad…'

'Hey… it's normal…' Ana tried.

'Ok… fine… yes… I like him…' She smiled widely. 'I felt my heart skip few beats when he touched my hand…' She added as Taylor took his seat beside her. 'Mum… did you feel like this with dad?'

'Yes honey… and it's perfectly normal…'

'Yes… but you weren't 17 Ana!'

'So what? Our daughter is a normal teenager… she can have crushes! It's not like she's married Christian…'

'…but she's still my baby Ana! I don't want some guy taking her away from me.'

'Come on dad! It's not like tomorrow is my wedding…' She joked.

'Ok… ok… fine… Enough fantasising Sera…' I replied sulkily. I still wanted my baby to remain my baby… I didn't want any guy interfering with that for now. '…but yes… he seemed nice…' I finally added while she smiled again.
