Ana's POV
It was at around 2am that we arrived in London. We were all very tired, but finally we were all communicating as a family. Christian was still sulking about our daughter's crush. He still can't comprehend that she's growing up and these are normal feelings that girls and teenagers go through. I remember when I was her age. I had crushed so hard on guys and fell in love so damn fast that when we broke up it was harder and tougher. I'm glad I now found true love. Some say true love doesn't exist, but I say otherwise, because if you care and accept the other person completely with all his defects and problems, then yes, I'd say that it is true love, because we've been through so much and I'm glad that we still remained beside each other, despite all the fighting and the waves that we had to fight through.
We entered the hotel and while Christian carried out sleepy daughter, I quickly checked in. We were all tired and we wanted to rest as much as we could. The following day had to be hectic with all the places we had to visit.
'Ana…' Christian started as he handed me the printed reservations he had done online.
'Thank you…' I replied as I handed everything to the receptionist.
'Mr and Mrs. Grey… Welcome to the Corinthia Hotel.' The blonde woman greeted. 'Can I see some documents please?' She asked as I handed her everything and handed us few papers to fill in and sign over. 'Thank you…' She replied again as we handed her everything and she gave us the passkey cards to enter the room. 'You have an executive Suite, room 714 it's on the 7th floor room 14.' She smiled as she made a sign for the porter to take our luggage and guide us to our room. 'These are the numbers for room service and reception, please, if you need anything, do not hesitate to call anytime.' She smiled as she handed us few more papers. 'Enjoy your stay.' She smiled broadly.
She also handed another passkey to Taylor and Sawyer. We weren't going to leave without any security detail, and I think, that although I was against all of this extravagance that I could never afford, I learnt that being connected to my rich husband, these things were absolutely needed. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to my husband or daughter for the matter, and I'm sure he won't be able to forgive himself if anything happened to us.
As the porter took us to our room and left, I noticed that Christian still hadn't let Sera out of his embrace. He seemed to enjoy that she was finally sleeping peacefully, and most of all still holding onto his neck. I smiled at the scene and quickly grabbed my camera and took a photo of the chick flick moment.
'Ana!' He grumbled as the flash flashed straight into his eyes.
'Sorry… but I couldn't help it baby…' I smiled.
'I'll take her to bed… She's exhausted…' He smiled as he followed into the joint room that was our daughter's for the next 2 weeks. He tucked her in gently and after removing her shoes he covered her completely with coves. He caressed her cheek and kissed her forehead. I realised that there was an expression that I've never saw Christian have. I smiled at it. I knew what he was worried about.
'Christian…' I started as he switched off the bedside lamp and made our way out of her room, closing her door gently, making sure not to wake her up. 'What is baby?' I asked him gently as he removed his suit jacket along with his tie and placed them on the chair in the side of our room. 'Christian…' I tried again as I moved forward to him and rubbed his arm lightly. 'What is honey?'
'It's…' He started as he passed his hand through his hair and moved away. 'Ana… for the first time in ages she finally slept…' He admitted.
'Yes baby…' I smiled as I went from behind him and hugged him. I inhaled slowly his intoxicating smell. He still had the same natural smell that managed to clear my mind and simply relax me, but this wasn't the time. My husband was being tortured slowly with his thoughts. '…but what's bothering you?'
'Ana… for the first time, I felt her truly relax into her skin. She smiled honestly for the first time in years and most of all, I didn't want to let her go just now! While holding her, I couldn't help it, but bring images of her when she was younger and she slept on my shoulder. Ana I want all that lost time back, and unfortunately I can't get it back…' He replied almost on the verge of tears. 'Ana I threw away what I had… and although we got better… I can't forget all those times I pushed you all away… especially after Jason's death…' He admitted. '…and just now it hit home what I've missed. I have this gap in Sera's life… and I don't know how she's almost 18…' He continued as he sat down.
'Christian… be honest with me…' I tried again as I took a seat beside him. 'Where are you going with this? What are you getting at?'
'Ana… I saw our daughter crushing on this Eric guy… and I don't think he'll be the first nor the last one… and maybe some guy will ask her out… She won't remain my baby girl… she won't hang out with us… she'll go on dates…'
'Christian… stop…' I said as I placed my finger on his lips. 'Christian, she's with us right now… stop worrying about that… You're doing the hurdle when nobody has conquered her heart as yet. You are the prince she knows for now Christian. You are her father and she loves and adores you… be grateful for that… when the time comes that she'll start dating then we'll see… but right now enjoy the time we have as a family.' I said again. 'This isn't about a guy only Christian… If you're not going to talk to me, we won't be able to communicate again.'
'It's just I felt that I had a 6 year old in my arms Ana… We've been going back and forth with her eating disorder, and I have this fear that something will happen and she will relapse again… and there will be so much that her body physically can handle… and this morning Natalie came by…'
'Yes, I know… Taylor and Sera told me…' I replied. 'Did something happen?'
'No… but she trashed Sera once already… I don't want her to hurt her again.'
'Christian we know the things, we only have to keep an eye on them baby…' I smiled again. 'I know you're concerned… hell… I too am… but right now, we need to focus on her recovery and we'll take care of the details later.'
'You're right…' He smiled as he placed me on his lap while I nuzzled into his chest. 'You have to check her over for any new cuts…'
'…and you take care of making sure that she eats.'
'Oh… I wouldn't worry about that… we had a thorough talk at home…'
'Good…' I smiled.
'Now Mrs. Grey…' He smiled his infectious smile. 'What do you say if I rock your world for the night?'
'I thought you'd never ask Mr. Grey.' I flirted back as I kissed him passionately while he moaned into my mouth.
'Mhmmm…' He said. 'You know exactly what drives me insane…' He smiled again.
'Mhmm…' I said again as I started undoing his shirt buttons and pushed him gently on the bed. 'You're a fine sight from up here Mr. Grey.' I teased as I went down and kissed him again.
'Mhmm… and so are you from up there Mrs. Grey…' He teased back as he pulled me hungrily towards him again where his lips and mouthed attacked mine. In little time we were caressing and making out until we soon were naked, and making passionate love to each other. I looked deeply into his eyes and all I saw was pure love… Love that we had built stronger and stronger over the years, and at that moment it hit me, that no matter what happens, I would always remain his… and love him till death do us part.
It wasn't long till we both reached our climax. We laid down in bed holding each other tight under the covers until soon we were lost into a sweet comfortable sleep. I knew were my place was… It was safe into his arms, holding each other… and that is the place I always want to be.
Christian's POV
It was at around 6am that Ana and I woke up. We had to get ready to start our holiday and visit many landmarks as possible. It would get us out of our usual daily routine, and finally get our minds more broadened with historical entities.
We quickly showered and got ready, and waited till the last minute to wake up Sera. She was still sound asleep. 'Those meds truly work… she hadn't woken up once.' I thought to myself. I went beside her and smiled. She hadn't moved since I tucked her in. She clutched the sheets tighter to her, and it squeezed my heart that I had to wake her up. '…I could always watch her sleep tonight…' I thought to myself, as I shook her gently from her shoulders.
'Peanut…' I called her gently as she moaned something. 'Baby girl… It's time to get up…' I said again as I shook her gently again, while her eyes fluttered open slowly.
'What time is it?' She asked slowly.
'6.30am baby…' I smiled while Ana joined us.
'Good morning…' she replied as she yawned. 'That was the best sleep I ever had.' She smiled as she hugged the pillow tighter.
'Come on sleepy head…' I chuckled. 'You have to get ready and we have to go down for breakfast.'
'Argh…'
'Sera…' I warned sternly.
'Ok… ok… fine…' She replied as she got up and searched for her glasses while Ana handed them to her.
'I prepared the pink trousers and black shirt and the grey cardigan.' Ana smiled as she took out everything. 'Are they ok baby?'
'Mhmm mum…' she replied again as she got up and made her way to the bathroom half sleeping.
'Sera…' I warned again.
'Yes dad.'
'Don't sleep in the shower… you have 15 minutes to get ready…'
'Aye aye captain…' she mocked lightly while Ana laughed.
After she got ready and we packed some things to carry with us while we're going round London, we headed down to breakfast, and to my surprise the Christenfeld's were there seated in the table next to us. Both kids waved at each other, and I saw them steal a gaze at each other. Ana realized what my stares were and she quickly elbowed me.
'We should get some breakfast…' She smiled as she gave me her smile.
'Yes…' I smiled. 'Sera…' I grabbed her attention.
'Mhmm…' She replied still looking at Eric as he got up from the table with his family, while I checked my blackberry making sure that the breakfast she had to take had to be within the diet plan.
'What do you prefer, oatmeal or toast?'
'Um…' she replied. 'I'll have some oatmeal…' She replied as I stood up. 'Dad…' She stopped me.
'Yes peanut.'
'Can I get it myself? Please? I want to do this on my own…' She replied.
'Um…' I looked towards Ana while she nodded. 'Ok… we'll wait for you here.' I replied as she made her way to the buffet. 'I think… she's starting to truly get better…' I told Ana.
'I think she is…' She smiled again.
Sera's POV
'Ok… I can do this… It's not a big deal… Just some oatmeal…' I kept telling myself.
I grabbed a bowl and filled it with the oatmeal present. I kept watching it fill my bowl, and although I felt myself panicking and the calories I'll be consuming, I managed to convince myself that I'm stronger that what's controlling me. I know I could do this…
'Hi…' A voice from behind me took me out of my thoughts as I looked towards him.
'Hi Eric.' I smiled.
'It's like the universe wanted us to clash again.' He joked. 'We're staying at the same hotel.'
'Yes we are…' I replied again. 'Do you want some oatmeal?'
'Yes please…' He smiled again as he filled his bowl and both of us moved towards the liquids section. 'Would you like some espresso?'
'I'll have some tea please…' I replied as he filled me a small cup.
'Here you go…' He smiled as he handed me the cup and ours hands brushed again. I couldn't help but smile, and even him. I could see him blushing. 'Maybe he likes me too?' I thought to myself.
'Where do you live?' He asked. 'Back in the States?'
'Seattle…' I smiled.
'I live near the theme park…' He replied.
'Not far away from where I do.' I smiled again as we moved to the espresso machine where he filled a cup for him. 'How old are you?'
'I'm 20 last month.' He replied again. 'You?'
'I'm 17…' I smiled back.
'Sera…' Dad called me from behind.
'I should go…' I said again apologetically. 'My dad isn't a man of patience.'
'Neither is mine…' He joked. 'Will I see you again?' He asked from behind stopping me in my tracks.
'Maybe… If you want?' I replied back smiling and making a small dance inside as I joined my parent's at our table.
