I'm going to be honest. I never expected people to vote different answers but because they could go together I am making them go together. Though one will happen later than the other. As it makes it easier for me to write it and I hope that the reviewer in question doesn't mind me putting his choice further into this story but it's more comfortable for me to write. I should also mention that this chapter takes place a few years after the last chapter. As it makes more sense that way. Plus it gives me more chances to put in flashbacks. Oh the fun I am going to have with those. Hopefully I don't get labelled a sadistic being to what I want some of them to be but oh well. I am who I am and I am not changing anytime soon.

I stepped lightly with my hands slowly going to the pouches on either side of my waist. I stopped before a waist high bush before I slowly pushed the bush to the left slightly seeing several team aqua grunts laughing and enjoying their evening with each other. (Just wait, I'll get them individually.) I thought to myself as I slowly reached into my black leather jacket to pull out a pitch black mask. I looked at it as the blood red cross shone dimly in the moonlight as I slowly put the mask on. "Reaver is coming." I whispered out sadistically as the grunts began to separate. Two went back into the building behind them while one stayed where he was unknowingly signing his death warrant. I slowly stood up pulling a knife out from the pouch and taking aim.

I saw his eyes widen as he saw me. I saw him about to turn to run before I threw the knife. It impacted with a dull thunk into his neck making him fall to his side holding the knife tightly. I walked over to him seeing him try to get away but his muscles were beginning to fail him already. "I see that my new concoction works well enough." I said seeing his eyes widen as he began to slowly pull the knife out of his neck grunting in pain as he did so. "What, did you, do to me?" He asked between harsh coughs as it took hold. "I coated the blade with a mix of different berries. If used correctly and I hit a soft spot like the neck or in-between the legs it becomes a fast acting paralysis poison. As you have just proven its effectiveness I will ask a question. If it proves to be true I will provide the cure and you will get help. Now, where are they?"

My question made his eyes show a growing fear as I knew that they would be told not to give up the information under any circumstances. "They are in the warehouse behind this building third row. But it's heavily guarded. You won't get in easy." He said making me smile behind the mask as I stood up to my full height and reached into the jacket where I pulled out a simple supressed 9mm glock 18. "You said you'd cure me." He said with obvious fear in his voice making me turn my head towards him as I sighed. "There is no cure, only your own immune system. I am sorry." I said before I pulled the trigger effectively killing him swiftly as the bullet went straight through his head. I sighed as I began to walk around the building unsure of how many were in there into the warehouse behind it sealing off the entrance with some I.E.D's from the pouch on my left side.

I slowly walked to the isle indicated by the guard seeing several cages lining the shelves involved. I sighed as I began walking down the row looking into every cage seeing Pokémon from everywhere all caged here. Suddenly I heard the I.E.D's go off making me curse over the explosion before I ran to the beginning of the row looking at the main entrance as the fire was subdued by ten water type Pokémon. I looked at them with a small amount of pity before I saw the leaders of Magma, Aqua and Plasma walk in looking at me with victorious smiles. "You can't win against us together vigilante." The leader of Aqua spoke with a laugh as I smiled as well behind the mask as I let out a demonic chuckle pass my lips as I reached into my jacket and pulled out the amulet of Arceus which now had a small crack on each of the type plates.

I saw their eyes widen before I saw a small flash of red before the three leaders crumpled to the floor. I looked at the water Pokémon to see them all staring shocked as I sighed and walked over to them. "You now have a choice, die here by my hand or be free from this forever." I said seeing a blastoise and a vaporeon walk up to me. "can't we help you?" The vaporeon asked me making me sigh in frustration as I looked at them. "If you wanted to put your own life in danger; when you could have a family one day. I won't lie; most of them who offer their services to me don't live very long. So I would recommend against it but in the end it is your decision." I said before feeling a familiar presence nearby. "I will offer my services to you." The vaporeon spoke as the blastoise walked away from me as I noticed that the others had left the area as well.

"Alright, let's get the others free and I'll lead you back to one of my camps." I said as I began walking down the row again feeling the familiar presence growing closer until I heard a shallow gasp. Recognising the owner of the voice I spun around seeing Mystic standing there in her human form. I sighed as I slowly took off the mask showing her my face as I stared sombrely at her as she ran towards me. As she neared I saw the typhlosion at the start of the isle looking at me with a small amount of admiration as Mystic reached me and began to embrace me. "I can't believe it Matthew; you can't just be staying down here." Mystic said as she looked up at me as I smiled down at her. "They made their choice, what happens from now on is their priority. However what happens down here is my responsibility. I assume you're here to free the Pokémon as well?" I asked seeing her only nod before we both began to unlock the cages.

When we were finished there was all the beginning evolution of many different types. I saw several Eevee's and Poochyena. At least ten Houndour and growlithe's. They all stared at us with fearful gazes as I stared back through my mask as I slowly took it off again. "You were all taken wrongfully; both of us are here to see you off safely to be reunited. As I'm sure your families are worried about you." I began before seeing several of their ears lower and heads hanging in sadness. (Crap.) I thought as I looked at the typhlosion seeing her holding a sympathetic smile on her face. "Those with families still alive will follow Mystic and the typhlosion, the ones without a family will follow me." I finished seeing them all look at me with hopeful eyes.

I saw the typhlosion look at me with wide eyes as I leaned over to Mystic's ear to whisper. "There are a few caves nearby. I told the parents to gather there. If they are still asking for their children tell them to pay Reaver a visit and he will have them." I said seeing her shiver lightly before she nodded. "Those with families still alive will head out first. Be careful young ones. Sometimes things don't go as planned." I said seeing them nod before some of them left following Mystic out of the warehouse leaving me with three Eevee's, four Poochyena, two Houndour and one growlithe. "I take it you all have no other places to go?" I asked them seeing them nod their heads with a few of them beginning to cry. "Alright, follow me. I have a place where you can reside until you feel comfortable with leaving on your own or with a mate if you find one in your time in my care."

I saw several of them start beaming at me as we began to quietly make our way out of the warehouse before we began the long trek back to the house which I now called home. We travelled until midday until the hut came into view. I sighed and began to walk towards the front door already seeing the living room had a fire burning brightly as I opened the door. "I'm home Amy." I said loud enough to carry through the entire house hearing multiple rapid steps approaching as a gold and silver blur slammed into my chest making me fall onto my back with her burying her head into the side of my neck as she waved her tails as fast as she could as the Pokémon let out a simultaneous "aww." At their collective voices I saw Amy snap her head up with a small but noticeable blush on her cheeks making me chuckle lightly.

I saw her get off me before she looked at the floor nervously. "I take it that you succeeded?" She asked me making me nod my head at her. "Yeah, however this was only just the beginning for what I fear may come later." I said as I looked out into the forest surrounding the hut. "Can you not be so overly dramatic?" Amy asked me with a light laugh making me smile slightly. "I'm just saying that today was our first known move towards them, they'll be sending out kill on sight orders soon. It is luck that I survived this long. And it will run out soon, I just hope that the other champions can get it done before I head into the arms of death." I replied seeing Amy widen her eyes at me before she looked back at the others as the vaporeon approached her slowly.

"I'm surf. My original trainer didn't name me that well." She said extending her paw forwards for some form of handshake. I smiled slightly as the pups soon came up and introduced them slowly sounding more and more comfortable when they once realised that we weren't going to harm them. After the little meet and greet between them all they all gathered around the fireplace hoping for some form of warmth as I smiled at the sight. "Leone can I talk to you for a second?" Amy asked me from the hallway making me turn and leave the room with my eyes closed until I heard Amy's voice. "What is it?" I asked her kneeling down to be on eye level with her. "What will become of them? We can't protect them all at once." She said making me sigh.

"I already planned for that, we are going to need more people here that I can trust. The champions aren't going to be of any help to me at the moment so we're going to need people from the surrounding area. Willing to help our cause against this. Plus you always used to want a family if my memory serves correctly. Think of this as a trail of sorts." I replied seeing her blush faintly again before she nodded slowly. "Alright, but how do you plan on recruiting them?" She asked me making me smirk. "S.R.B. We find a blank frequency and broadcast there. We give an area to meet which is far away from here. Probably the area where I found the young ones in their cages and we train there. The warehouse can be used as a gym to train and spar while the secondary building will be a resting quarters."

My response made her chuckle with a shake of her head. "You already plan ahead, but what if they find out everything and try and kill you on the first day? They have the sizes of an army that makes the legendary Pokémon nervous why are you doing something like this?" She asked again. I had purposefully avoided the question until now. "Because if I don't then no one else will. Someone has to be a public hero to inspire those that feel the same way about them. The leaders of Hoen and Sinoh still remain so they're both going to be fighting for control over this region. Amongst the chaos they won't care as long as they have an advantage over the other they will want to split again. It will only cause this region to be split. We'll think further ahead on this later."

I began to stand up to see that Amy had wrapped her tails around me preventing me from doing so. "Leone I need to tell you something." Amy said making me stare at her with some mild shock before I nodded slowly. "Alright Amy I'm listening." I said seeing her look at me as she leaned in closer to whisper into my ear. "I know about what happened in the hall. I offer my sincerest apology for what they did to you. You didn't deserve it." She said making my eyes widen in shock before I leaned back before I stood up. "How do you know?" I asked growing suspicious of her seeing her eyes look at me still. "How else would I know, either I was there or you told me." She said making me get into a defensive stance with my fists raised. "Talk." I demanded seeing her nod her head slowly.

"I think it best that I show you who I am first." She said before she was surrounded in a golden glow. I shielded my eyes with my left hand until the glow died down and I saw who she was. I sighed as I saw the Zoroark. "Of course." I muttered before I slowly began to walk towards her. "I understand your anger Leone, but listen to me. I bear a message. When it has been delivered I will be on my way." She said making me nod slowly already tensing my arms ready for a fight. "You were marshalled wrongly. Your sentence has been done, they wish for you to return but they didn't know where until Zekrom spoke up and told us. Rachel would have come here if she would but Arceus thought it best that she stay there in case you lash out at her again like last time."

Her words made me sigh as I remembered. "I will have to unfortunately decline. I need to remain here for the time being. The champions can visit as well as some of the legendries. I don't completely trust some of them though so I will ask that Moltress, Zapdos and Articuno stay away from here. I will not hesitate to defend myself if the need arises." I replied seeing her eyes widen before she nodded. "Then I take it the first champion you want to see is Chains?" She asked me seeing me look at her before I shook my head. "No, with her seeing me and knowing my answer she will want to stay here as well. I wouldn't mind meeting the other champions. As long as they don't have the hot headedness of Moltress." I said with a light chuckle at the end seeing the Zoroark do the same.

"Alright, but she will want to see you soon." She said making me nod. "That is where the trust I am placing in you comes into play. You need to tell only Arceus and Rachel. Arceus will arrange for supposed missions to see me. Rachel will come and go as she wishes I know that. But Chains will be one of the last ones there that get the option to see me. It can happen in a week. But I need you to not tell her about this. Tell Mystic as well, she won't like it but it's for Chains' wellbeing." I said seeing her nod before a glow surrounded her before she vanished. I sighed as I went back into the room seeing all the Pokémon in the room except for surf looking at me with adoration in their eyes before I was tackled by them all. They all began laughing as they began to play around me making me chuckle at their cuteness.

I sighed as I sat up before I looked at them all before I saw that the growlithe was left out. I motioned with my hand for her to join me. She did nervously advance watching me making me wonder how long she was in a cage suffering. "Young one. Please don't fear me. I mean you no harm whatsoever." I said slowly whilst looking into her chocolate brown eyes before she ran into my chest knocking me over again before she began to softly cry into my chest. I reached an arm to hold around the middle of her back as I sat up again before moving around a bit so that I cradled her in my arms while I slowly looked at her with sympathy. I saw her head look up at me; her cheeks were damp with the trail of tears that had just left her eyes as her eyes were just beginning to go bloodshot.

I sighed out gently as I slowly pulled her back into my chest before I gently kissed her forehead as I held her tighter to me feeling her tense up slightly before she began to nuzzle into my chest as I heard the door open and close the being who did it not trying to be quiet as I quickly got to my feet and got ready to defend myself if the need arose for me to do so. I lowered my stance however when I saw it Amy who had entered looking around before she looked at me suspiciously. "You succeeded then I guess?" She asked sarcastically making me nod my head at her before I slowly knelt down on one knee before allowing the growlithe morph to look at me sadly as I smiled slightly as I slowly ruffled the fur on top of her head seeing her begin to giggle and lean into it.

"How do you plan on taking care of them?" She asked me making my gaze trail to stare into her eyes before I looked back at them who all stared at me. "The champions aren't going to be much help to us with this so we'll either need more people or we put up with it. I think we need more people as what happened in that warehouse was a total cluster fuck for lack of a better term. But I'll handle it; you just make sure that no one discovers this place alright." I said before I heard a slow knocking on the door, whoever it was must have been nervous. "I got it." I said quietly to Amy as I stood up again before I walked back to the front door before opening it slightly seeing the Flareon from the hall accompanied by the typhlosion. I opened the door all the way and allowed them inside.

I sighed as I lead them into the living room where they immediately let their mouths hang open as the young Pokémon cowered slightly making me smile at them before I turned to them both. "You have a reason for being here I presume." I said snapping them out of whatever trance they were in. "Yes, we came to tell you that Rachel wishes to see you in the hall. Arceus has forbid her a leave to see you. Because Magma and Aqua are turning on plasma, it's going to be a war over this region." The typhlosion stated making me smile. "Just as I planned," I whispered before talking to them. "Alright, I'll pay a quick visit to her then be on my way. But Chains must never hear of this." I said seeing them nod their heads before I touched the amulet of Arceus being surrounded by a wall of fire before it dissipated into thin air revealing new attire completely. My shirt now was pitch black with a single red flame over my heart while my legs were covered by long jean like pants that were pitch black with a red chain pattern running on the outside of the legs.

"Let's get this over with." I said lowering my voice slightly before I was surrounded in a glow before I felt myself succumb to the teleportation. I opened my eyes to see that we had teleported straight into a legendary meeting. (Crap.) I thought before I leaped out of the way to dodge a flamethrower. I rolled on the ground before standing up and putting on the mask while staring down Moltress seeing her start to shake with fear as I began to speak, my voice lowered and slightly muffled through the mask. "You really must like being put down you over grown parrot." I said seeing her eyes widen in remembrance before she began to glare at me as if trying to kill me with her stare before Arceus stepped in. "What right do you have to be here?" Arceus asked making me chance a glance at her before I answered.

"I heard about what happened to the last male champion here, I merely wish to comfort his liege I believe you call them. Now I do apologize but if Moltress does try anything else against me I will not be as lenient as I have been." I said hinting at who I was seeing only Zekrom widen his eyes before I turned and walked out of the room. I sighed as we walked through the halls passing some male champions on the way, most of them strength based with the occasional lucario. I smiled under the mask as we reached Rachel's door where I heard talking inside. "Rachel, you don't need to do this. Whether you believe it or not you are wanted here. He wouldn't want this to happen to you. I know he wouldn't Rachel so please calm down." I heard the unmistakeable voice of Mystic say through the door.

"I know that Mystic, but how could he not want this to happen? I basically abandoned him Mystic; he will never forgive me with what I did to him. At least if I leave, he won't have to worry anymore." I heard Rachel say through the door making me decide to take action as I opened the door before stepping inside the room closing the door behind me. "Don't even think about it." I said seeing Rachel snap her head towards me as I slowly lowered my head and took off the mask letting my hair fall down slightly covering my vision as I looked up through it at her. "Don't think about it my liege, because it is my sworn duty to protect your life. So you see you are needed here because of me as well, so don't ever think of that act again. I nearly lost you once; I'm not letting it happen again."

As I finished I raised my hand and moved the hair away from my vision allowing my eyes to shine in the lightning seeing Rachel's eyes widen in disbelief before she turned into her human form before I saw her run into my before she embraced me as tight as she could with her head being buried into my chest as she cried into my chest. I sighed as I embraced her back with my head resting atop of hers with her head tilting upwards to look at me as I smiled slightly as I saw her smile slightly in return before she continued to just rest against me as I picked her up and carried her back her bed before laying her down on it. "Rest easy my liege. I will be here soon enough." I whispered into her ear before I slowly rubbed the top of her head before she fell asleep.

I smiled slightly before I stood up again feeling Mystic wrap her arms around my shoulders as I gently grabbed her hands with my own as I stayed like that for a while until the door opened making me thank Mystic for making it look like I was being choked out from behind. I sighed as I slowly put on the mask again before I felt a new pair of hands wrap around my neck before adding their own pressure. I took immediate action, flipping my assailant over me by using my back as a lever seeing that it was Chains. I slowly stepped back before I saw her stand up and stare into the mask. "Why do you taunt me?" She demanded making me lower my voice before speaking. "I don't understand." I lied as I looked at her before I saw her pull out the CRKT Persian folder before unfolding the blade. Holding it calmly pointed at me making me sigh as I turned back into my regular attire.

Seems Chains doesn't remember him or actually doesn't want to for fear of a break down. I know it seems like I'm doing both suggestions in this chapter but honestly the second option won't happen hopefully for another two chapters. Sorry but I feel like this is the best way for it to play out. Don't worry though. I have plans for Matt/ Leone. Some which you won't like probably but oh well, I am who I am. So until next time. My fellow dark minded individuals. I'm going to freaking bed. I need rest especially after what I just went through if you follow the author not the story you know why. Anyway, goodbye and have a good…whatever. I'm out.
