Chapter 9
Sunstreaker's POV
Three days later
It was a couple of days since the whole Lucinda and Seeker incident and everything seemed to be going smooth as usual. Well for the terrors twins.
Today was Friday and the best day of the week (except Saturday of course) only because it was the last day of school and nearly two hours' worth of Art lesson!
It was going to be a good day!
But if course life wasn't that fair for the golden bot.
Instead he and the rest of his classmates would be going the Autobot Base and learning about the job roles the bots do there.
So instead of Art and hanging out with his three friends…. He would be at a boring base his Sire works and learn things he doesn't really care about right now.
Sunstreaker understands what the Autobots do and how they defend their race, but right now they were still sparklings/younglings and didn't really need to know about future job roles they may want in the future.
"This bites!" Sunstreaker's twin complained.
"I wanted to try out the launcher we made at school, not listening to boring bots and their jobs!"
"Me either Sides"
"Well why don't we ditch?"
"Ditch? Come on Sides! Bots are gonna notice that we're not there!"
"Please Sunny! We'll find Rhythm and Lucy then head to the park and stay there for the day! Then when school finishes we'll head back down there and pretend to Sire we were at the base all day."
Hmm…. It was an interesting plan to say the least, and with persuasion from their friends it could just work! Except there was one problem.
"You do realise that Sire at the base and will notice when his creations aren't with the others…. And Rhythm and Lucy's creators work there too!"
"Aww!"
Well hopefully if they keep thinking about their celebration party tomorrow maybe this day will go quickly!
"Alright everyone listen up! Stay in your partners and order in a fashionly order." Mr Holequake said the bunch of sparkletts.
At least Sunstreaker was with a bot he liked (Sideswipe) and Rhythm is partnered with Lucinda behind them. So it wasn't so bad he guessed.
"Here is the main hall everyone. We'll be meeting some important bots soon."
The main hall was huge!
It was just an open space with some old looking paintings on the walls, for decoration most likely. It was a light blue space with golden strikes around the halls.
All of the chatter from the sparkletts in the hall was all hushed when the door in front of them automatically opened and some large bots entered. Most of them they already know of.
The first bot was the largest out of them all, he was mostly blue with red around his body structure and had matching colour optics to which Lucinda has, and he defiantly held a powerful aura around this bot. It was easy to say that this bot was the leader Optimus Prime.
The next two bot's were similar in size and the creators of their friend Rhythm. Prowl the SIC walked in with his hands behind his back and kept his structure when he noticed his sparkling in the crowd of younglings. However, his other creator known has Jazz and third in charge of the Autobots saw his youngling and shot him a little wave and wink.
Next was the third biggest but he certainly has the biggest guns on him!
He was all black with bright blue and had a serious look on his faceplates, thought he did smirk when he saw Lucinda looking at him.
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe's Sire walked in next, he was mixed colour with red and white and dark blueish optics. He was known as a grumpy bot to those who have met him, and he was showing it now when the younglings looked at him.
Same old Sire at home and at work!
The last bot who walked through was a bit smaller than Optimus and had blue and red on him too but more mixed up than his leader and was built a bit more robust as well. He too looked serious and slightly scary in way…..
"Welcome young ones, to the Autobot Base. I am Optimus Prime the leader of the Autobots. I sincerely hope you learn and enjoy the tour of our second home."
Woah…. How does he get a voice that deep?
"Autobots Prowl, Jazz and Ironhide will be with you throughout the tour. Enjoy younglings." Just like that he and other big bot walked through the side door in the east.
"Follow us younglings and we will begin" Prowl said and began to walk through the door they had entered. Jazz and Ironhide had gathered us up and we all began following Prowl.
BORING!
All they had seen was the conference room, the medic bay (full of deathly wrenches!) and the workout room where bots train up.
"And here is our artefact gallery…."
"Isn't that a new one?" Rhythm had asked the older bots.
"Indeed it is Rhythm. This a relic from The Golden Age and holds a story behind it. It says that a few bots have been chosen by Primus himself and when they touch the relic they will see their future."
See their future? Interesting…..
"And if we go over here…" everyone began walking away, however Sunstreaker and Sideswipe stayed put.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Oh yeh!"
"Wait! We can't both go Sides"
"Why not?"
"Maybe because someone will notice!"
"Aww man! Well who's going in?"
"I'll do it. If somebot asks, I'm in the bathroom."
"Fine."
Sideswipe jogged up to the rest of the group around the corner while Sunstreaker looked back to the gallery and quickly ran in as quietly has he could.
He walked up to the white relic and put his hand out to it
"Let's see my future relic."
Then a blast of energy suddenly dived into the golden mechling and all went black.
Sunstreaker saw what looked like a human male with golden hair and bright blue optics talking to a beautiful female human.
"Well what did he say? Are you alright? Are you really ill?"
The female giggled
"Sunstreaker I'm fine! It's good news"
Sunstreaker?!
"Good news?"
"Yes. Ratchet said that the reason for the vomiting and fainting is because….. I'm carrying."
The human male known has Sunstreaker watched dark haired female for a moment then to her stomach.
"Carrying? We're….. We're going to be creators?"
She nodded while smiling. He then picked her up and kissed her lovingly.
"I love you so much Lucinda."
Did he just say Lucinda?!
"And I love you Sunstreaker. With all my spark."
The vision changed, the human Sunstreaker and older Lucinda were running into a dark building.
"Lucy! Lucinda stop!" He caught up to her and held her to his chest, however she kept wriggling to be free.
"I have to do this! Please let me go!" She cried out to him.
"No! I won't let you be killed!"
"If I don't then the rest of our kind will be murdered because of me!"
"What about me? What about our sparkling? Your just gonna leave us?"
"I would never leave either one of you….."
"Then stay….. Please stay."
"It's my destiny Sunstreaker. When I leave to be with Primus and the other Primes, the next Prime will say our race. I need you to watch over Everest and Eden."
"Everest hates me as it is, if you leave he'll never respect me as his step-creator."
She turned around and smiled sadly at Sunstreaker before hugging him like they would never see each other again.
Vision over
What the? What was all that about? Was that really my future?
Lucinda Prime
I knew there was something different about her. She's a Prime!
Is she my future?

Who is Everest? I'm sure you can all guess what a 'Step-Creator' means!
