I appeared in front of the warehouse where I freed the young ones that are now staying with me temporarily. I started walking forwards, the feeling in the air was indescribable, it contained tension but also a surreal calmness. I continued to walk forward surveying my surroundings. The land looked grown over with long grass starting to creep around the warehouse. "This will have to do." I mumbled to myself as I walked inside. I scanned the inside of the warehouse before setting to work. I started by moving things against the wall while I was in my psychic form. The metal shelves scraping against the concrete creating an ear splitting sound. When they were against the wall, I set to work planning how to get a message out to others that wanted a true freedom.
I walked out of the warehouse only to see the gallade from earlier. "Knew I should have killed you instead of letting you live." I groaned as I got into a fighting stance, seeing him raise his hands in a surrendering position. "I know what you strive for. You strive for a free world. Your mental barriers are lowered when you are preoccupied with other things." He spoke while looking into my eyes. "I see, and I should not kill you because?" I asked him seeing him slowly step back. "I can help, I can gather the Pokémon required while you focus on the humans." He said making me laugh. "I like you, though any suspicious activities, like having a dark type flank me and I will kill you." I said, walking forward. "I would suggest that you teleport away." I growled demonically seeing him only do as I said.
I continued on my way, the feeling of being watched did not bother me. In fact, it made me feel more alive than I had in the five years of isolation here. (I would need a radio in order to be discreet. I cannot just walk through town shouting 'hey want to join? Fighting against the three biggest superpowers in the world'. However, that might get a chuckle from me in the future if I did do that. I would rather not risk it.) I thought seeing what looked to be a ramp over the warehouse's roof. "Are you kidding me?" I rhetorically asked myself as I sighed with an unamused smile on my face as I walked back inside the warehouse. I turned into my dark form, deciding to do this the easy way; I scanned the entire warehouse, looking for any type of radio.
I searched for ten minutes before finding it. It looked like a modern Citizens Band radio with two knobs, a liquid-crystal display screen showing the current frequency with a sound indicator on each side, one for the person on this end, the other for the other people that are talking. I smiled and decided to start today; setting the radio down on the floor, I began to start it up. A small sound made when it started before noise echoed in the warehouse as it blared to life. I decided to start changing frequencies by slowly turning a knob to change the frequency. I was met with silence as I scrolled through the frequencies. I eventually found one that should work. I picked up the radio push to talk microphone, pressing the button I began to speak, making sure to morph my voice to make myself unidentifiable.
"Greetings people of the region. You do not know me, but know that I am here to help. If you wish to have a name to call me by, call me Reaver. I am tired of being controlled like a puppet, as I am sure you all are too. Magma and Aqua are the real threat to us here, I may be the only one brave enough to stand up for what is right. And what is that? Well I believe in a free world. Not bound by the tyranny of a company that wishes to control the world; we humans are warriors, in our life, we have done nothing but fight with each other. I am now giving all that combative force a true target. A chance for us all to be together for each other and fight as one voice, one body and one mind. All for one cause. Think on the offer and I'll be back on this station tomorrow."
I finished by releasing the button hearing silence before a voice responded. "You're right Reaver; I've lived in fear for too long. I will stand by your side." A male voice spoke through the radio before several other voices joined in. All of them sounding eager and ready for what was coming. I pushed the button again and waited for the talk to calm down before talking. "I appreciate the support all of you. If you are ready to stand at my side in battle. Come to the western edge of Black city. Stay in groups of three and four to avoid suspicion, a group of thirty or forty will attract unwanted attention. I will see you all there when the sun is behind black tower for me." I spoke before turning off the Citizens Band radio and exiting the warehouse.
I saw the sun was beginning to set as I stepped outside making me sigh as I teleported a little ways away from the hut to avoid suspicion and a scare to the young ones. I walked inside seeing them all huddled around Amy who looked distraught. A woman standing over her, her lightning yellow hair that reached her shoulders made it obvious whom she was. I growled lowly, turning into my darker self. My eyes darkened, my fingernails turning into claws as vapour-like wings unfurling from my back, my voice sounding barely human anymore. "You have four seconds to leave before I turn your body into ash." I growled out catching her attention. She looked at me, her pupils turning into pinpricks, as she was probably shocked at my appearance.
"You really should watch your mouth freak. I know you care for her, so stay away from our business and she won't die." She spat making me laugh darkly. "You really think that you intimidate me?" I asked her rhetorically, I began advancing towards her with my hands clenching into fists. She stepped over Amy to stand between the two of us. "You will stand down Leone." She whispered dangerously as she advanced towards me. "I will not allow myself to be controlled and manipulated so that one of the tyrants remains alive. No chance in hell will I let myself be manipulated to one tyrant when I have enough on my mind. So tell your sister that she can stay the fuck away from me and my personal life and I stop the war from going into an extinction event."
My words made her stare at me shocked so I continued. "Magma want to extend this planets land mass while aqua wish to extend its waters mass. Plasma just wants control of the world. If either of the three have their way. It will set this planet to go into fallout; the core of this planet will try to regulate the change in balance, which will lead to either a cataclysmic event or another ice age." I finished seeing her stand there dumbfounded. "Why didn't we know of this?" She demanded of me making me laugh lightly at her. "I lost my champion rights the minute I was convicted. You of all legendary Pokémon should know that. After all, your fire counterpart made my life there the same as it was down here." I finished with a snarl. Her eyes narrowed as she advanced, coming to a stop in front of me.
"Even in this form you don't intimidate me nearly enough for that to be an actual answer." She snarled making me sigh as I walked towards the door. "If this is going to result in a fight, let's settle things outside like proper, civilized beings." I replied my normal state of mind returning as we both exited the hut and began to walk to opposite sides of the clearing. I turned around to see her glaring at me with fists raised, ready for a brawl. I chuckled darkly, raising only one arm. "Ready when you are." I challenged, taunting her to make the first move with two fingers of my raised hand. She let out a shrill yell of fury, her whole body sparking, she charged with her left fist reeling back. I took on a serious look as adrenaline began to pump through my veins.
As she neared, I began to feel reality slow down, she was about ten feet away, electricity beginning to coat her fists. I narrowed my eyes as she closed the distance. (Only got one chance at this, have to make this work.) I thought as I placed my left foot back, raised my other arm, and held them in front of me. When she was within arm's reach, I stepped towards her almost colliding with her as I ducked her fist while jabbing at her kidney. She tried sidestepping to create distance only for me to follow her with my fists raised in a boxer's stance. "Come on then." I taunted, throwing a light jab at her face, she blocked with her spare hand and shoulder threw me. I landed with a grunt of pain; I quickly rolled out of the way, she tried stomping on my chest.
As I rolled away, I heard the young ones shouting towards me. I blocked out their voices as I stood up again, my fists rising again. "So you trained, well done, though it's not enough." I said, choosing to stop playing around I stepped in close so we were chest to chest as I trapped her with my hands interlocking behind her. "Next time, don't threaten the ones that are innocent." I snarled as I lifted her up and slammed her to the ground, leaving her winded and shocked. I stood up, leaving her lying down on the grass, staring at the sky. I walked back into the hut seeing the little ones look at me with admiration with only two Eevee's faces showing a slight amount of fear as Amy limped towards me. "Leone you didn't need to, do that." She said as she reached me.
My eyes immediately were drawn to her front paw, which was leaking blood steadily. "Amy your hurt, I'll take care of it." I said, seeing her shake her head as she looked at me. "I knew the price, but you shouldn't bother yourself with a lost cause." Amy said making me look at her with shock. "Amy don't start talking like that, it's not life threatening." I said, kneeling down to her level seeing her tear up as she looked at me. "It's not, but what she said." Amy began before I cut her off. "She said something about your life being over if you continued to assist me or talk with me correct?" I asked her seeing her look at the floor as she nodded. "Don't worry about them; I'll talk with them after about leaving this area alone. So let us take care of this wound before it festers."
My words made her stare at me as she began to smile, my expression turned into a more compassionate one as I walked out of the room to fetch the medical kit. I found it in my room where I left it, picking it up and leaving the room before tending to her wound, I began spraying disinfectant onto the wound hearing her whine in pain as she bit down on a roll of cloth that I gave her. "Don't worry, it will be over soon." I soothed, seeing her beginning to cry because of the pain. I finished and began applying gauze. "When this is done you will need to lay off walking for about a month." I said to her seeing her nod, I finished wrapping the wound. Putting everything back into the medical kit container, I picked Amy up. Carrying her to the couch, I sat down with her on my lap before closing my eyes and falling asleep.
