I awoke to a quiet 'aww' being made by the door, cracking an eye open I saw Amy standing there with a small smile on her muzzle as she walked in. "It's not wise for a leader to sleep in later than their army." Amy stated as I sat up. Chains sliding down my torso to rest in my lap. Her eye cracking open as I stared at Amy. "Let me get cleaned up and I'll be down by the warehouse before the sun is up." I said, standing. My body involuntarily shivering at the change in temperature. I walked into the shower with a small smile on my face. Letting the water run down my body, relaxing my tense muscles as I began to wash whatever dirt was on my body. When I was finished, I sat down at the table and waited for Chains and Leila to come down. While I waited, I helped myself to an Oran berry.

They walked in a few moments after I finished the Oran berry. I waited for them to have something to eat before we headed out. Chains grabbed an Oran berry and ate it quickly while Leila grabbed an apple and began to eat it at a normal pace. "What's the plan for today?" Chains asked me. I cracked a small smile. "I'll find out what we're good at, with who we have at the moment it would be good if we find that out early. I do not want someone who is good at medicine put in a combat role." I say as Leila nodded. "Seems you have thought this through thoroughly, have you thought of the consequences?" She asked me and I nodded solemnly. "I have, I know that most if not all of those may die for nothing in the end. However, I won't stand idly by whilst those organisations do what they do." I responded calmly.

Chains looked at me with a small amount of fear. "What about the other champions?" She asked and I chuckled. "What about them? They can help if they wish, but they can also stand against us if they wish. We cannot force them to do anything." I responded, calming down from chuckling. "If Mystic were to stand against you, what would you do?" Leila asked and I sighed and hung my head. "If I couldn't get her to withdraw. I would see if she would be willing to join us, if that was not the case. I'd do what I had to do." I say as I walk to the door with Chains in tow. "I'll get going if I want to beat them all getting up." I say with my best attempt at a chuckle as I walked outside.

As I began to walk towards the warehouse, I felt Chains slip her hand into mine. "You need to relax Leone; Leila didn't mean anything by the question." Chains explained in a gentle tone as I smiled at her. "I know, but I needed to get out of the house, I have a group to learn about and organize. I hope that this day goes by quickly." I responded with a small chuckle escaping me as I looked ahead into the clearing seeing that they were already up and talking with each other. I smiled lightly. "Guess I won't have to find a way to get them all up." I chuckle as I walked up to them. Seeing them all stop talking as I approached. "Morning all." I greeted seeing them all nod at me.

I sighed at the action. "I am not above you, so stop acting like you're being forced to respect me like a superior." I say in an annoyed tone as they all began to ask questions. I raised my hand and they all went silence immediately. "I know you have questions, but we need to act while we still have the element of surprise. Now I know that not all of you are fighters. I also know that some of you have Pokémon. So if the ones that want to fight step forward and the ones with Pokémon step forward as well." I requested seeing them do so. Out of the fifty that were at the café, thirty stepped forward. "That's a decent balance; now those with Pokémon can you raise your hand."

At my request, five raised their hands. I nodded at the number. "Can those who don't have Pokémon and don't want to fight head into the warehouse. I'll be with you in a second." I requested seeing them all head inside the warehouse. When the last one was inside the warehouse, I looked at the ones with Pokémon. "One by one I want you to say what Pokémon you have and how long you have had them." I stated as I walked towards one of them. I stopped and looked into her eyes. "You first Alice, since I already know who you are you don't have to tell me your name." I said seeing her look at me with a newfound respect. "I have a team of three Pokemon, a Luxray named Voltra who I've had for years. A Lopunny named Elowyn who I have had for a few months. Finally, a Blaziken named Inferno. My starter I've had for just under a decade"

I smiled lightly. "I take it your team is mainly revolving around synergy with each other. Inferno burns the opponent before Elowyn delivers the finishing blow; however, if Elowyn is unable to finish them Voltra will step in and take over. A clever strategy but it revolves around Inferno, which leaves a giant hole in your team." I guessed seeing her nod lightly. I nodded slowly. "You may take a seat if you wish. This may take a while." I say seeing them all look at me. She nodded and sat on the ground cross-legged. I walked towards another female, her blue eyes spoke of innocence but there was a drive in them. "Who are you?" I asked as she looked at me. "My name is Nyx, as for my Pokemon, I have a team of six, a Flareon named Blaze, an Umbreon named Galaxy, a Jolteon named Para, an Espeon named Star, A Vaporeon named Vapour, finally a Leafeon named Serene. I've known them all for years."

I nodded. "Your team I guess is more contest wise than actual battle worthy, your team has some synergy however I have seen a few stand and hold their own." I say to her as she sat down and nodded. I gestured for a male to come forward. "My name is Jim. I have a team of three, a Gengar, a Dusclops and finally an Absol. All of them have no names but I have known them for three years." He said making me nod. "Pokémon that have gathered a reputation of fear is definitely a good choice if you want to intimidate someone for anything, great for interrogation purposes." I remarked as he decided to remain standing to the side. The next person walked up. "My name is Steve; I have a team of six, Altaria, Gallade, Salamence, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and Lucario. Named Mina, Blade, Drake, Chan, Lee and Eadan respectively. I've known them for over half a decade." He stated and moved aside. I chuckled and looked at him.

"An offensive team, you want the fight over as long as possible, those Pokémon are known for their ability to do one hit knock outs." My comment made him look at me with surprise. "You seem to think everything as if we are fighters." He said making me chuckle. "I am merely stating that your team is more focused on offense rather than a balance of offence and defence. As such, I can estimate that you want to end the fight as quickly as possible. Either that or you hope to outlast your opponent in brute strength. Which may work on wild Pokémon but does not work on trainers and especially whom we are dealing with, moreover, I know that some of you will not fight. However, give your Pokémon the choice; if they want to help around here, they can do so. I don't want anyone forcing their Pokémon to do anything here."

My analysis caused a few gasps to run through the crowd as Alice spoke up. "You have changed." She stated making me laugh lightly. "I have, but when you live a life like this. You end up like this. Which is why I offered you all a chance either to fight or to support the fighters, if you have second thoughts the warehouse is available for you." I replied seeing none of them move. "If you want to scare us out of being fighters you need to try harder than that." Ray stated with a chuckle. I sighed and shook my head. "I don't expect you to be scared off, but this is about finding out what we are all good at. I know what you are good at so you don't have to worry about that."

I saw a female step forward slightly. "I'm Sapphire. I only have a team of two, a Bayleef called Spring and a Mightyena called Shadow. I've known them from the start of my journey." She stated quietly making me chuckle lightly at her shyness. "Definitely a decent start, but you will not need to worry about their strength, you won't be fighting." I said softly seeing her look at me with relief before sitting down next to Alice. I sighed quietly. Seeing that they were all done I looked to the other twenty-five who all had determined looks on their faces. "I hope to know that I can count on the rest of you to form into groups of five and put up with each other."

My comment made a few chuckle as Ray walked up to me. "I'll handle the training of these guys. Why did you ask the others about their Pokémon?" He asked and I looked at him. "It's because I wanted to gauge what their strengths and weaknesses were. If a warrior goes into battle unprepared, it may cost them. We both know that. As for handling the training, I expected nothing less. I just do not want you going overboard. Right now we barely would classify as a PMC so don't overdo it." I said causing him to chuckle. "Suits me." He stated with a shrug as they all paired off into groups of five and moved around different areas to be better acquainted with each other.

I sighed and stood tall and walked towards the warehouse. "Those that have Pokémon please, follow me." I stated calmly as I opened the door and walked inside seeing the other twenty all talking with each other. I cracked a small smile as Chains and Leila Came up to me. "You found out what they are good at?" I asked them in a whisper as they both shook their heads making me sigh. "Alright, now is your time to decide, if you want to stay and fight alongside me you won't be considered a champion anymore. Thoroughly think this through before going through with it. The friends you have up there may become your enemies; the mentors you look up to may have a chance to become some of the strongest enemies we may have to face."

My words made both Chains and Leila nod lightly before Leila looked at me. "What about Mystic? She cares for you and she could not bring herself to choose. You know what will happen if you end up fighting her." Leila stated and I nodded. "I know very well that she would not want to fight me or any of us. I also got the idea that she cared for me. I'm not a complete idiot." I finished with a chuckle seeing Chains chuckle. "Yeah you can be at some times but you can be a genius at some other points." She chuckled and I shook my head. "Under certain circumstances I can perform at my best in those situations, but they are few and far between. Something that will end the second any organisation notices what we are."

My words made them nod as I grasped their shoulders gently. "What will you do if you end up fighting Mystic?" Chains asked, sounding worried for her friend. "I will do what must be done, I know that she will be unstable so I guess the only thing to do is try and get her back here and make her choose on her own." I said calmly seeing Chains sigh in relief. I chuckled and let them go. "Alright guys and girls, let's try and keep this short as I'm sure you all want to try and get some more sleep." I chuckled seeing a few of them nod. "Well then, let's get to the chase, since you are against fighting, we will need the necessities that warriors can't provide, doctors, nurses, agriculture, psychologists and the like."

I saw a few of them raise their hands. I smiled and shook my head. "We aren't school children; you can just ask a question if you have one." I chuckled seeing the ones that raised their hands rub the backs of their heads in embarrassment. Seeing a male step forward I smiled kindly as he sighed. "If we don't have any of those qualities needed will we be tossed aside?" He asked looking crestfallen. I looked at him before shaking my head and sighing. "I can sound like an idiot sometimes, my apologies but you won't be left if you lack those qualities. You may know someone that does have qualities like that. Moreover, if we needed them and you are interested in any of them, you can learn them here. Think of everyone here as your new family, we help each other."

My words made them all smile happily at me as they began to talk amongst themselves again. "Guess they all wanted to ask that question." I chuckle lightly seeing Chains at my side. "You should show the fighters what you can do. Just to let them know what they have supporting them." She advised and I chuckled. "When did you become my advisor?" I chuckle seeing her look at me with a smirk. "When we slept together." She retorted causing the warehouse to go silent as I laughed. "You still haven't changed have you Chains?" I asked as I calmed down to a light chuckle again seeing Chains shrug her shoulders. "No not really." She chuckled as I shook my head.

"I'll show everyone what I'm capable of soon enough. We need to get together and figure out how to organise the warehouse into different sections then use those sections for different professions without interfering with the other professions, we can't have psychology next to the surgery as that would defeat the point." I mutter to myself as I scanned the size of the warehouse. "Plus we'll need a range outside and away from here for the future reference. I need to teach you how to shoot as well Chains." I chuckled seeing her look away. "I'd rather not learn that. I'll stick with what I have up my sleeve thank you." She said and I sighed but nodded. "As you wish, plus I couldn't send my advisor into battle."

My words made Chains look at me with shock. "What do you mean?" She asked making me chuckle. "You don't want to learn ranged combat then that is your decision, I cannot force you. As for your position as my advisor, you really think I made that comment a minute ago if I didn't consider it." I stated with a chuckle seeing her shake her head in disbelief. "You're sneaky when you want to be." She stated. I chuckled seeing her glare at me. "It's not my fault you didn't pick up on what I said." I stated seeing her sigh and shake her head. "You are sometimes impossible to understand." She chuckled and I shook my head. "Not my fault as I said." I retorted.

I apologise for this taking so long and for the short word count. I will start working on the next chapter right away as I am already three days behind schedule. Well they have stopped for now so I will get back to work and let you guys enjoy your holidays while I get back to work. Happy New Year guys, even though I am late it is better late than never.
