Christian's POV

She was still out of it when we arrived to the hospital. I was hoping that nothing was serious… but I never liked panic attacks. It feels like your heart is constricting and there is no more air available in your system. She looked peaceful but the shade her face was giving wasn't convincing. I quickly parked the car and entered into the emergency. My mother was already waiting for me. My father and her took care of her immediately. One of the nurses pushed me out of the room, saying that I'm too emotional to handle this. 'Hell of course I'm emotional! She's my daughter for God's sake…' I thought to myself.

Prescott had already taken care of Thompson… but those files I saw on the DVD were quite familiar to the papers Elena presented. It quickly clicked my mind. She had to have inside information from GEH… and they both wanted to destroy me. I quickly grabbed my phone and called Taylor to check Thompson's apartment. There had to be something for sure. If what I was thinking was correct, than that means that I can put Elena down without having to go overboard with a plan. I was only hoping this was it…

'Christian!' Ana called as she took me out of my thoughts. 'What happened?'

'She had a panic attack… She broke down… I didn't want to take any risks…' I admitted as I hugged her.

'Christian…' She started. 'What's wrong?' She asked again as she looked straight into my eyes.

'I'll tell you everything at home…' I replied.

'No Christian… tell me now…' She insisted.

'Thompson…' I only answered. 'It's complicated to explain and I'd rather not go into the details now… you'll listen to everything at home…'

'Christian…' She eyed me suspiciously.

'Ana… don't worry… we'll figure this out… if what I'm thinking is right, then we have a good case in putting Elena down.' I explained. 'I've been lacking in everything these days Ana… I kept my friends closer instead of my enemies.' I explained as I paced away and turned facing her again. 'Is Sawyer here?'

'Yes… He left Vincenzo and Welch in charge at Escala. Philip and Gaston are doing their rounds just in case.' She explained. 'Christian why all this fuss? I thought we agreed to not be so uptight on security…'

'Not after what happened these last few days… from this second onwards, we are not leaving anywhere without security… not even for dinners, trips… picnics… nothing… and there will be no arguments…'

'Christian…'

'Don't Christian me Ana… this is not up for discussion… I had you have your way for 22 years now… you knew when you started dating me that we would be in the public eye. You knew we couldn't avoid many things and you knew from the start that there are going to be people that hate us and want to destroy us…' I continued as my mother cut me off.

'Christian…' She started as she placed her hand on my shoulder.

'Mum…' I started lost for words.

'Please if you need to talk go somewhere privately. You are in an emergency room and you have to follow rules… besides you should better put this crap aside for a second and worry for your child.' She confronted.

'How she Grace?' Ana asked as I composed myself. She was right… I've lacked in security for years… few more minutes won't make any difference.

'She's asking for you… and I suggest you go to her now before she sleeps. Your father is sedating her so she'll sleep and won't get nightmares…' She explained as she guided us to room 2.

'Physically… how is she?' I asked.

'One of her burns is a little infected, but other than that she's fine…' She smiled weakly. 'Avoid anything that would set her off… avoid anything regarding what happened and anything that upsets her…' She stopped us before we entered.

'Hey peanut…' I smiled as she tried sitting up. 'No… you need to rest…' I said as I pushed her down gently.

'Mum…' She tried as she reached for her hand.

'Hey baby…' She chocked.

'Don't cry mummy…' She smiled weakly. 'In few hours I'll be out of here, and we can go home…' She continued as I looked towards my father and he gave me a nod to go with it.

'Peanut… let me tell you what… you rest… and when you'll wake up we'll be here…' I smiled as I kissed her forehead. 'How does that sound?' I asked as my father injected the sedative slowly while I kept keeping her train of thought away from dad's task. We all knew she would fight. This was the only way we could distract her.

'Mhmm…' She replied slowly as her eyes started losing their strength. 'I'm tired…' She chocked.

'Sleep baby…' Ana smiled gently as she nodded and drifted into a deep sleep.

After she was moved into a private room, Ana and I remained with her. Ana kept insisting on telling her what happened, and finally I had to tell her. I switched on Sera's laptop and inserted the microchip. I let her hear everything… she kept staring at me. She couldn't believe it for herself. I kept holding her hand and rubbing smooth circles over it. Every few minutes she was stirring in her sleep, but she wasn't able to get herself fully woken up, and soon she returned back to sleep.

'…so this all happened because you fired Thompson? My daughter is here because Thompson bribed her?' She asked as she closed her laptop.

'Don't shout Ana…' I said as I moved forward to where she was sitting. 'Yes… and I have a hunch…'

'…about?'

'Have you seen the information on the DVD?' I asked her as she made her own mathematics.

'Elena had the same…'

'…information…' I finished her sentence. 'I bet Thompson was the inside informer… Taylor is checking his apartment for anything that may help us. If I'm right… we can charge both Elena and Thompson, along with Bradly…' I explained.

'…and Eric?'

'The FBI contacted me this morning. They want us to go down to the station to answer some questions. They have a lead.' I looked straight into her eyes. 'We can go tomorrow with the other parent's and make our statement against Eric… We'll do it first thing in the morning…'

'What about our daughter? I'm not leaving her alone…'

'I'll ask my parent's to stay with her… Philip and Gaston will be outside the door… Prescott will follow you wherever you need to go… Taylor will be here later after he covers the place with Sawyer.'

'Taylor can't come tomorrow… Natalie is having some problems at school. The kids aren't nice to her…'

'She deserves it… Look what she did to our child…'

'Christian…' She scolded. 'Bullying is never the answer…'

'Why are they picking up on her anyways?'

'The bump is showing… He asked me how to handle it… I gave him John's number maybe she could talk to him…'

'You did good Ana…'

'Poor girl… She was so good… such a goody two shoes…' She added.

'Yeah…' I smirked. '…and now she'll be having a kid of her own.'

'At least she wants it now… at first she wanted to abort…'

'What?' I asked surprised.

'…by time she loved the life growing inside of her… She wants to appoint Sera as the baby's godmother…'

'That's sweet…' I smiled goofily. 'What is she having?'

'A boy…'

'He's going to be a heart breaker…' I chuckled.

'Ok… and how can you possibly know that?'

'Simple! I know Taylor…'

'Coming to think of it… You never told me about how you and Taylor met. You always told me that you go far back… how I don't know…'

'We used to be classmates…' I smiled. 'I remember, he always sat in front and I always sat on the back… Few kids were picking up on him and I couldn't stand it anymore… I stuck up for him. I was one of the cool guys so he became one of the cool guys as well in high school. We were the duo… nobody messed with us. We used to share homework… set up each other on dates… he ones set me up with this blonde chick in class… she was so obnoxious… damn I couldn't stand it… it was the worst date ever! I preferred the date with the 'no-talking-Ruth'… and that is saying something!'

'What happened then?'

'He used to have this philosophy… He only kept a girl for as long as three months… as those three months expire he'll break up… he wanted to know what kind of girls there were out there… until he met Lisa… they remained together ever since.' I continued. 'When he was deployed, I was still starting GEH… I made him a promise that once I got on my feet I would manage to get him back… I didn't make it… he was injured and came back… When Lisa was pregnant with Natalie he had to be deployed again… but this time I kept my promise and I offered him his place as the head of security. We compromised on wage, and that I'll pay for his daughter's education… that's it…'

'That's so sweet that you remained friends.'

'Yeah… We're tighter than blood.' I smiled as my phone rang. 'I have to take this…' I kissed her cheek and exited the room.

'Grey..'

'Good news Christian… your gut was right…' Taylor replied. 'He was in fact working with Elena… She was living at his place.'

'You actually found her there?'

'Yes… with Eric…' He replied back. 'The FBI had already contacted me. Their lead was Eric Lincoln Christenfeld. I called them… they have just picked him up.'

'Good…' I finally took a sigh of relief. 'I need you to get me a copy of the hard drive, and every file there is about my family.'

'Already ahead of you Christian. Sawyer and Barney are already working on everything… you won't like what we found…'

'For as long as we have every detail I don't mind Taylor…' I replied back.

'Christian… they were keeping tabs on Ana as well… even on Elliot and your parent's. Whoever invested in GEH is investigated.' He replied back as I felt everything lashing over my shoulders. 'My Ana… My sweet Ana… What if they got to her too?' I thought to myself. 'Christian are you still there?'

'Yes… I need you to drop by at SIP and check for anything that had been tempered with. Whatever they tempered at GEH, they probably did the same to SIP…'

'Already working on that… Ryan and Castelli are searching every square inch.' He replied back. 'I'm on my way to drop off any papers I've found at Thompson's…' He added. 'Christian… we have everything… rest your mind… we will nail them…'

'Yeah…'

'I'll leave the papers with Mr. and Mrs. Grey. They'll bring them up to you.' He instructed.

'Thank you Taylor.' I replied as I hung up.

The following morning, Ana and I dropped to the police stations. We had everything in order. Ana and I spent the night figuring out everything with Welch, Sawyer, Ryan and Castelli. Thompson was in fact working with Elena… they were in some sort of relationship… That we little cared about. What we wanted was to get everything back to what it was… Enemies in their place…

The other parent's as promised talked openly with the lawyer. The case was building on stronger towards us.

One of the detectives greeted us all and moved us to a relative sizeable meeting room. We all took a seat. Everyone lost in discussing his options and priorities until Waters entered.

'Mr. Grey… I thought I was going to ask you some questions… but as I see you brought a crowd with you.' He started as I stood up and shook his hands.

'Actually, Detective Waters, these people here all want to make a statement. Us included.' I replied as Waters took his seat at the head of the table.

'Ok… let's start then…' He said again as he opened the files. 'I questioned Mr. Taylor yesterday when he brought us in Mr. Christenfeld and Ms. Lincoln.'

'Yes…' I replied.

'Only that Eric… or whatever he's called… has a reputation with all of us.' Collin added.

'What do you mean? I don't understand…' Waters asked us as he faced us all. I brought out a file and gave him everything my people investigated. I passed him every piece of information I had on all of them.

'This is what we mean…'

He started reading intently and I could see lines forming over his forehead. We had to nail this… all the other parent's wanted closure… We wanted closure…

'Mr. Grey… you have a strong case here about three people… I only have one question… how come all of you decided to take action now?'

'We couldn't do anything before…' Stephen continued.

'My… Katie…' Morris spoke up. 'She's… I don't know my daughter anymore… She's in a mental hospital because this Eric… took advantage of my 15 year old daughter. I get to see her only on weekends, because she can't handle three people in one simple room…' He continued. 'I've dreamt every night on wanting to kill this fucking bastard Detective Waters. Mr. Grey was kind enough to give us a chance to speak up and lay down the law…'

'Well… in order to do that we need a report statement from your daughter's… If you manage to…'

'It's already done…' I replied. 'You have everything in the third file.' I continued as he rummaged through the file and smiled.

'You also have the medical report… you came prepared…'

'We only ask one thing… none of us want to make an appearance in court…'

'Don't worry about that we can have a private hearing…'

'…and our kids have to remain anonymous…' Stephen said again. 'I don't want my daughter to relive her past.'

'You have everything here… their identities will remain unknown… however we need you to be in the audience. We won't force you to talk… the lawyers will fight for you… but you need to make an appearance…'

'To see these people going down we all will be there…' Morris said.

'Good…' He replied as he got up and knocked on the door and the same guy that had escorted us earlier. 'Detective LeBlanc will ask you some questions…' He said again as all of us stood. 'Not you Mr. Grey… I'd like to talk to you myself.' He said again as all of the others exited the room with LeBlanc.

'Detective, is there any problem?' Ana asked as she squeezed my hand tighter.

'No… I just want to warn you…' He replied.

'Warn us?'

'Mr. Grey… on Mr. Thompson's computer we found that he was keeping track of both your every move including that of your daughter's… and your unregistered son's death… or to put it better – murder…'

'Detective… I don't like speaking about our son's death… with anyone…'

'I know Mr. Grey… but I have to tell you… you took this investigation alone… which could have been fatal… you are a very distinctive important person and asset to our economy… but for sure you are not an investigator…'

'What are you getting at Waters?'

'What I'm saying is, that when there is someone you should call us immediately… That is why the Federal Agencies have been founded.'

'I have my own security…'

'If I remember correctly from your file, Lorenzo was passing information… your General Manager abused your daughter and you had no idea about anything… so your argument is void…'

'Wait… how do you?' Ana asked.

'Hard – Drive regeneration Mrs. Grey…' He replied as he rested his back to his chair. 'This time you were lucky enough to having done your work… Next time… please… call me immediately…' He continued as he handed us a card with his personal information.

'We're hoping we won't need to fight these anymore…' Ana replied.

'Why are you doing this?' I asked suspiciously. 'You barely know us and you want to help us?'

'Mr. Grey… you gave my sister a chance and offered her a suitable job after she returned from rehab. She became an alcoholic after her divorce.' He explained.

'Janet is your sister?'

'Yes… surprised?' He chuckled. 'Mr. Grey… I appreciate the kindness you've done with my sister. This is the only way I can pay you and your family back… Janet is finally back on her feet living in her own apartment building her life over again.' He smiled as we both stood up.

'I'm glad I could help out…' I smiled as I shook hands.

'Any time Mr. Grey… Mrs. Grey…'

Ana's POV

As we exited the building I took a sigh of relief. We finally were going to get closure… only to have to face recovery and maybe make our daughter feel safe. We spent the drive discussing things. Christian explained everything what Earl done to my daughter. I cried… I cried instead of her. Was I able to see the DVD? Was it wrong to even watch it?

We went back up to her room but we realized she had visitors.

'…and you know what Sera? I was very good that the nurse gave me a lollipop!' I recognised the voice as Walter's.

'Really?' She asked dully as we opened the door. He was lying beside her with John on the couch doing some paper work. As we entered I saw her face pale and I could see Christian getting worried.

'Sera what's wrong?' Walter asked as John greeted us.

'N…Nothing…' She stuttered as she quickly tried regaining her composure. I could see it in her eyes she wasn't happy. She held Walter close to her, and listened to what he was saying. I could see her eyes darting everywhere… I could see her lost in thought.

Christian's POV

'Hey peanut…' I greeted as I moved forward and kissed her forehead.

'Keep in line Mr!' Walter pushed me back. 'She's mine right now…'

'Walter… what have I told you in being nice?' John scolded.

'Sorry daddy…' He admitted. 'Sorry Mr. Grey…'

'Apology accepted Walter… and please call me Christian…' I kissed his forehead. He made me smile. He loved her so very much. I looked over to Ana. She was exhausted.

'Ana, why don't you go home… I'll stay…' I offered.

'Christian…'

'Come later baby… John and I are here…' I told her as I motioned for Philip to enter.

'Ok… I'll come at around 9pm…' she replied as she went to hug our daughter before leaving. 'Call if you need anything…'

John's POV

I saw the way they acted towards each other. They were cold… so cold… almost afraid of handling their own daughter… she still hadn't said a word other than 'yes' 'mhmm' and 'really…'. Dad briefed me on what happened… I thought Walter visiting her would make her a bit better. This time it wasn't helping.

As Ana left, Christian came forward and took a seat beside me. He was exhausted himself… but he was determined on staying here with her… no matter what. I closed my file hoping he would talk.

'Thanks for staying…' He started.

'It's no problem. I had to bring Walter anyways for his seasonal shots.' I replied.

'John… you're lucky you have your son that age… you can dress him how you like… carry him wherever you like… they cling to your neck like there is no tomorrow…' He started. 'Damn… I miss my 6 year old daughter…' He continued as we looked at both our kids.

'Walter… you've been playing with my bracelet for almost 2 hours now…' She commented.

'I love your bracelet…' He smiled. 'Derek has one like it…' He said again as she took it off.

'Here… have it…' She smiled.

'Really? For me?' He said excitedly.

'Yeah… but maybe if you stop jumping I can tie it…'

'Well… you know… I like that locket too…'

'Oh no Walter… I'm not giving you this…' She replied as he opened it.

'Who are these people and why is he dressed like a penguin with a big nose?' Walter asked again while both Christian and I chucked.

'Well… this is my mother… that is my father, and this is my brother…' She shown him slowly as she took off her necklace and showed it to him. He took it from her hands and jumped off the bed. He moved towards us with the locket and held it in front of Christian.

'Oh yes… it is him…' He confirmed. 'Your nose is the same Christian…'

'Walter… that is not nice…'

'…but it's true daddy…' He insisted.

'Yes… it is Walter…' Christian replied smiling as he moved forward and took Walter's nose. '…and now I have your nose too…'

'No… please… give me back my nose…'

'Dad give him his nose back… he'll cry…' Sera said weakly as she got down from the bed while Christian ran by her side.

'Sera! You know you're not supposed to move around.'

'Dad… I had a panic attack not disabled…' She insisted.

'Ok… ok… but go back in bed…'

'Dad…'

'Now Sera. Don't argue…' He urged as he helped her in. 'Don't get up again unless you truly need it…' He said again as he covered her with the covers while Walter ran towards him and held his hand upwards for Christian to pick him up. 'You want to climb big guy?' He smiled as he helped him.

'Yes Christian.' Walter replied as he handed Sera her locket while Christian moved back to where he was.

'Do you have a minute? I need to talk to you…' He finally admitted.

'Is right now a proper time?'

'I'll call dad or mum first… I'm not leaving her alone…'

'Christian… they're sleeping…' I motioned him. 'Gaston is outside the door… we'll be here too…'

'Ok…' He finally agreed as we exited her room.
