Vergil sat with his sister as they discuss some of his life during his so called prison. She did want to meet poison ivy hearing about her form batman and from the history the league had on her.
"Diana I'm telling you black rose is fine. She not going to kill anyone again." Said Naruto
"I'm just concern for my brother I just got you back. I don't want to lose you again." Said Diana as Naruto smile and hugged her
"Hey don't worry I will make sure nothing happens to me." said Naruto
{Uch gag me.} Thought Ansem
{Quiet you. No ruining the brother sister moment} thought Kushina
{I can shut him up if you want kit.} Thought kurama
{No it only works for a couple hours.} Thought Naruto with a smile
Suddenly the watchtower shook. The brother and sister looked at each other before heading toward batman who was at a computer. Superman, J'onn and hawkgirl came to the computer as well
"Sensor have been picking up a powerful energy surge. I've never seen anything like this." said batman as superman leaned in
"It a boom tube." Said superman with narrowed eyes
A webbed lighted tunnel came up behind them a muscular man in black, blueish trimmed armor with grey skin and red eyes. This man was Darkseid he looked at the league setting his eyes on Vergil and widen slightly before setting on superman.
"Hello we meet again Kal-El" said Darkseid
Superman dashed over and punched Darkseid into a wall shaking the tower.
"Stop them before they push us out of orbit." Said batman as J'onn wonder woman and Vergil grabbed superman
"Wait superman don't" said wonder woman as she held one of his arms
"I see you haven't forgot Me." said Darkseid
"What do you want?" asked superman as Darkseid sighed
"Though it pains me to say it. I need your help. My last skirmish with new genesis left my forces at less than full strength." Said Darkseid as superman stopped struggling
"Uh not to be insulating but aren't you suppose to some big bad shouldn't you be able to stop them." Said Vergil causing Darkseid to look at him
"Trust son of hades if I didn't need your help I wouldn't ask it." Said Darkseid
"Ok just wondering." Said Vergil
{Wait did he just call me son of hades} thought Vergil
{Yeah he did. He shouldn't know that.} Thought Minato as Vergil looked at Darkseid with narrowed eyes.
Darkseid brought up a controller and brought up a screen showing a robot with three dot on his forehead.
"Because my enemy is your enemy. Even as we speak apokolips is being threatened by a krypotnian menace known as Brainiac." Said Darkseid as superman scoffed
"Your lying I destroyed him." Said superman as Darkseid shook his head
"Apparently. He's harder to kill then you think. You should know his pattern by heart Kal-El. Once he get all the information from my planet." Said Darkseid until superman interrupted
"He'll destroy it. Good" said superman causing wide eyes from everyone but batman
{Kit when you and superman trade personalities?} Thought kurama
{I'm wondering that myself.} Thought Vergil
Darkseid created another boom tube and stepped in. he turn back to look at superman and said "you may not care what happens to me or my world but know this once he's done with my planet. Millions countless more are in jeopardy."
Darkseid then left in the boom tube. Everyone then look at superman. Hawkgirl walked up to him.
"So you're going to let millions of lives die? Just because you don't like this guy." Said hawkgirl
"Got to say sups though I hold grudges." Said Vergil
{Yeah this superman is too fun. I think he make a good allies.} Thought Ansem
{Again shut up.} Though Vergil
"You don't know him like I do." Said superman
"We know he used you. Humiliated you. Brainwashed you. Wound you up like a toy solider, and turned you on the world. On the outside chance this isn't a scheme by Darkseid. We need to act and take out Brainiac." Said batman as J'onn walked over a put his hand on superman's shoulder
"Brainiac has taken countless worlds. Do you want that to be you people legacy?" asked J'onn superman sighed
"I'm telling you there's something wrong with this whole scenario." Said superman
"Hey we been through worst beside. I have your back sups." Said Vergil
"alright." Said superman the team nodded before going to follow superman but before they could wonder woman grabbed Vergil arm
"Vergil. You hear what Darkseid said?" asked wonder woman as Vergil sighed
"Yeah that why I'm going with sups. Darkseid know something about my father, and I don't want any surprises from him." Said Vergil as wonder woman looked at him
"At least let me come with you." Said wonder woman only for Vergil to shake his head
"No just I case something happens to me I need you to be ready to stop Me." said Vergil as wonder woman sighed
"ok." Said wonder as they look and saw batman had a boom tube ready to go.
"We'll spilt into two team's superman, Vergil, J'onn, and hawkgirl will go to apokolips to help defeat Brainiac. While wonder woman and I will try and get some help from new genesis." Said batman as they went to the javelin
The first group sat down in the javelin and went through the boom tube as Brainiac was attacking Darkseid army. When the team saw the fight going on hawkgirl looked at superman with a raised eyebrow.
"Looks like Brainiac was telling the truth." Said hawkgirl
"I still think something's up." Said superman as he unbuckled himself from the javelin
Hawkgirl followed behind him J'onn stirred the javelin for a landing as Vergil got in the seat beside him.
"Hey J'onn let see how much damage that shield can take." Said Vergil
Vergil walked toward the open door and went through hand sign as J'onn got him an open shoot on Brainiac ship.
"Wind style drilling air bullets." Said Vergil shooting the air bullets at Brainiac ship only for the force field to block the attack.
"Ok that didn't work time for plan two. J'onn takes us down there to superman." Said Vergil as J'onn Park the javelin.
He was about to get out only form Vergil to put his hand on J'onn shoulder. This caused J'onn to look at Vergil
"What?" asked J'onn
"I need you to stay behind incase superman right about this being a trap." Said Vergil
"I understand. I will be here to offer support." Said J'onn
Vergil nodded. He then head for superman as he saw that Darkseid was standing beside him. To hear the tail end of their conversation.
"You should know by now I always have a plan." Said Darkseid
"Good but I think mines better." Said Vergil causing Darkseid to look at him with a raised eyebrow
"And what is that?" asked Darkseid causing Vergil to unsheathe yamato
"Simply yamato can cut through anything get me close I can cut through the force field." Said Vergil
"Impressive, but from my knowledge you can't fly, so how are you going to get up there son of hades?" asked Darkseid
"Simple sups how you're throwing arm?" asked Vergil causing a raise of superman eyebrow
"Uh good why?" asked superman as Vergil smirk
{You are crazy kit.} Thought kurama
{Yeah I am.} Thought Vergil
Brainiac was look as apokolips army try and stop him from completing his process. He turned his head and saw something flying towards him. Vergil flew through the air and stabbed yamato in the force field cause Brainiac to look at him.
"Impress no metal should be able to do that." Said Brainiac causing Vergil to smirk
"You can say it demon metal." Said Vergil
"And you think you can cut the rest of my shield like that?" asked Brainiac
"No I'm distraction and doing this to see if I could break through." Said Vergil as superman appeared on the opposite side of Brainiac
"Kal-El this is your plan. To try and see if a sword can hurt me. While I admit I didn't expect you here away from you adopted home. If your father Jor-El couldn't stop me. What makes you think you can? Asked Brainiac as he brought out a keypad
"Oh simple it not my plan it his." Said superman as Vergil during this whole time had started to drag yamato and channel a lighting Jutsu through it to cut a hole.
After the hole was cut a beam was shoot hitting Brainiac in the back. Vergil went through hand signs
"Chidor true spear." Said Vergil as lightening went from Vergil arm and hit Brainiac in the arm with the key and destroying it and the force field. This cause Vergil to fall
"Oh crap." Said Vergil as he fell only for hawkgirl to catch him
"You know if I let you fall your sister would never talk to me again." Said hawkgirl as she flew him towards superman and Brainiac.
"Yeah reeling feeling the love here. Can you at least change my position so I don't look like you dam catch of the day?" asked Vergil only for hawkgirl to smile
"Another time Kal-El." Said Brainiac as a light from his ship hits him taking him inside.
"no." said superman flying after him
Three Brainiac bots flew down superman took one out with his heat vision. The bot exploded this explosion cause a wave that knocked superman, hawkgirl, and Vergil to fall to the ground. Vergil seeing the ground coming fast Vergil went through hand signs.
"Earth style mud slide." Said Vergil as they landed in a mud slide.
The three of them landed in the mud, superman looked at Vergil a smiled a thanks while hawkgirl glared at him.
"Thanks Vergil." Said superman
"You could have thought of anything better. I have mud in place I don't want to have mud." Said hawkgirl
"Sorry I try something else next time." Said Vergil as he also have mud in place like that.
{Yeah should have told you to use a wind jutsu to cushion the fall.} Thought Minato
{I kind of think it fun.} Though Kushina
{I kind of wanted you to die but that didn't happen.} Though Ansem
The three heroes looked to see Darkseid beside them. Darkseid on a small ship looked at the heroes.
"What are you waiting for? Get him!" said Darkseid
"Only because you asked nicely." Said superman
"Shish grump much." Said Vergil as the javelin hovered over them and the each went inside. Hawkgirl looked at superman
"Still think Darkseid has a hidden agenda?" asked hawkgirl as she strapped in
"I'd bet the farm on it." Said superman as he nodded
The league followed Brainiac ship into an asteroid field and eventually came to a bigger ship which the smaller one went into. The ship then went over the hill where it disappear.
"Ok where he go?" asked Vergil as they came upon to three hole that looks like Brainiac forehead "forget I asked"
The javelin went to the three holes where it was hit by a beam. The beam started to pull them in a hole.
"We're being pulled. We have no control." Said J'onn looking at the screen
"Keep your eyes open." Said superman as they landed on a platform
"Yeah this should be fun." Said Vergil as he gripped yamato ready to slice anything in his path.
They all walked out of the javelin. The other platform came up to them.
"Ok this is a trap. You know that right." Said Vergil as he looked at superman
Superman walked on to the platform the others followed. They enter a big room with more of Brainiac symbol.
"Welcome Kal-El. Once I made you an offer to join me. I'll make it again." Said Brainiac as he slowed down from a throne
"You must be joking." Said superman as he scoffed at the offer
"Why do you reject your great heritage? It's entire history. Is coded in me." said Brainiac as picture of krypton and superman parents came up.
"Superman you can't be thinking." Said hawkgirl as superman looked at each screen.
"I am krypton. You perversion dishorning the very memory of its people. My people." Said superman just glared at Brainiac
"And this is you final decision?" asked Brainiac
"Read my lips go to hell." Said superman as Brainiac brought out to cannons
"Ok no more cussing for superman." Said Vergil as he slashed one of the cannons
J'onn took out the other cannon as they charged Brainiac. They all hit Brainiac at the same time with hawkgirl delivering the final blow.
"Someone had to shut him up." Said hawkgirl
"Lucky I wanted introduce a rasengan to his face." Said Vergil cause hawkgirl and superman to smile
"Is it over?" asked J'onn
"No. it's far from over." Said Brainiac
The league turned as several Brainiac come flying out and attacking. Vergil slash two of the Brainiac head off. Vergil went through hand signs.
"Wind style drilling air bullets." Said Vergil taking out the rest of his Brainiac
{Time to help the rest.} Thought Vergil
{Yeah please also turn around.} Though Ansem
{What?} Thought Vergil
Vergil turned around to see Darkseid fist hit the side of his head knocking him out. Darkseid then took out hawkgirl and J'onn with the omega beams.
"Darkseid!" said superman as he saw the other taken out by Darkseid
Brainiac shocked superman. Brainiac then looked at Darkseid as Darkseid picked up Vergil.
"It appears our stratagem was a success." Said Brainiac
"Yes I delivered superman. Will you leave apokolips alone?" asked Darkseid
"Yes and I shall turn the son of hades into your ultimate weapon." Said Brainiac causing Darkseid to grin as Brainiac led them down the hallway with superman and Vergil being dragged.
Vergil started to come to he was strap to a table. Vergil looked and saw Brainiac and Darkseid standing in front of the table with some type of black liquid
"He's awake interesting." Said Brainiac
"What do you expect form a son of hades." Said Darkseid
"And how do you know my father?" asked Vergil those cause Darkseid to laugh
"Why do your father choose your mother?" asked Darkseid
"Because she held the key to Olympus." Said Vergil
"That part of the truth, but you see your father knew he couldn't trust the titans. I happen to come to earth then scouting for recruits. Where I meet you father. We made a bargain I would help him conquer earth and in exchange his next born son would be the general of my army. You son of hades will be it." Said Darkseid
"Yeah thanks for telling me my father was more of a bastard than before. The only thing I'm leading is my redemption." Said Vergil
"True I knew you won't lead my army, but Brainiac said he find a way to make you my perfect weapon." Said Darkseid pointing at Brainiac
"Yes our see I have found that black kryptonite can split a person good half and evil half." Said Brainiac
"One problem I'm not krypotnian." Said Vergil as Brainiac nodded
"True but I have found that when black kryptonite is turn into a liquid form and injected in certain part of the body. It will work on any being. Now this will hurt." Said Brainiac as the needles with black kryptonite punctured different part of Vergil screamed
The black kryptonite went into Vergil body through the bloodstream. Vergil had never felt some much pain in his life. Darkseid and Brainiac watch as another Vergil begin to appear come out of Vergil body the two separated. Ansem stood up in his new body with spike white hair with a little black in it. He stood with a long sliver buttoned blue coat. (AN: think the hair style and coat of Vergil from the original devil may cry) Ansem looked at his new body and notice he had white gloves along with black pants and a white shirt. Ansem smile at his new body and final being free.
"Oh free at last. I should thank you, but I have things to do people to kill you understand." Said Ansem
"no." said Darkseid cause Ansem to stop
"I'm sorry what?" asked Ansem
"You see I know that superman allies will be here to save him. I need to make sure they don't interfere." Said Darkseid
"Ok and I get to kill Diana how fun." Said Ansem as he stood beside Darkseid and Brainiac
Superman was screaming as he was hooked up to a platform with Brainiac's logo on his head. Darkseid then walked form where Ansem and Brainiac standing to the computer where he put a small box on a computer. The room started too turned black.
"What are you doing?" asked Brainiac as Ansem laughed
"Looks like you didn't know the main rule never trust a god." Said Ansem as Darkseid looked at both of them.
"Just overriding your controls to follow my orders." Said Darkseid
Ansem watch superman counties to scream. He looked over at Vergil and saw him still uncounions. Ansem saw hawkgirl flying in not see by Darkseid. Ansem started to go through hand signs.
"Earth style mud wall." Said Ansem and stomp his foot down but no mud wall appeared causing his eyes to widen
{What why didn't that work} thought Ansem as hawkgirl attacked Darkseid knocking him into the other wall.
"Brainiac stop this. Vergil help me." said hawkgirl only for Ansem to hit her in the face sending her flying.
"Sorry bird girl but I'm not the weakling. I'm the stronger one and now we're going to kill you." Said Ansem as several Brainiac flew down
Hawkgirl attack the Brainiac. Ansem stood waiting trying to think of why the earth jutsu didn't work.
{Maybe because we spirited I got some elements while he got the others. Ok let try lightening} thought Ansem
"Lightening beast running jutsu." Said Ansem as a beast like a dirwolf came from Ansem hand and changed at hawkgirl.
The beast hit hawkgirl paralyzing her in place with the beast shocking her nervous system. One of the Brainiac fired hitting her and knocking her out. The group that went to new genesis came through the roof with Orion. Ansem seeing wonder woman with them. Ansem went straight toward her
{Ok lightening works let see let try fire.} Though Ansem
Wonder woman taking down a couple of the Brainiac as she could before Ansem got her. Ansem sent a shot to the head causing her to bend over spitting out blood. Before the shot to the head cause her to fly back. Wonder woman looked at him confused.
"Vergil?" asked wonder woman
"No his over there." Said Ansem causing Diana to glare
"Ansem." Said wonder woman
"Yes now burn. Fire style giant fireball jutsu" said Ansem but instead of a regular fireball a black fireball came towards wonder woman.
She got out of the way and watch as the black fireball destroyed the Brainiac and the arena around them. It did more damage than any fireball that Vergil had fire before.
"Well that wasn't expected. I guess it because of my embracing of my father's side. Now let see if you survive multiply." Said Ansem getting ready to go through hand sign.
Wonder woman charged at Ansem, but Ansem had finish the hand signs.
"Fire style phoenix flower jutsu." Said Ansem
"Water style water wall." Said Vergil as a water wall appeared in between wonder woman and Ansem
"Diana go help the other take yamato with you." Said Vergil glaring at Ansem
"But Vergil." Said wonder woman
"No Diana go take yamato. If he kills me. He could have it. I won't allow it now go." Said Vergil as wonder woman took yamato with as the other had free superman and where getting ready to leave
"Aw how sweet now I have a reason to go after her, but of course you're the good brother protecting the sister." Said Ansem
"It my job, but also now I don't have to worry about hurting anyone else during this." said Vergil
"Well don't once you die I'll make sure to finish them off." Said Ansem
Ansem charged Vergil as the two coiled. Vergil hit Ansem in the gut while Ansem managed to get Vergil on the right side of his face. The two started to exchange shoot left and right. While ducking and weaving in between the some of the shots. Ansem mange to get an uppercut sent Vergil into the air. Ansem mange to turn Vergil around so his head was point toward the ground while Vergil feet were in point toward the sky.
"Falcon drop." Said Ansem as his drop Vergil on his head. Ansem the stood up looking at the spot where he had dropped and said "that was easy."
"Water style water shark bomb jutsu." Said Vergil as a water shark hit Ansem from behind and knocked him across the room.
Ansem stood back up with blood running down the side of his face, and Vergil had blood pouring down the front of his face right over his eyes. Ansem glared at Vergil before both went through hand signs
"Lightening style black panther jutsu." Said Ansem sending a black panther made of lightening at Vergil
"Wind style drill air bullets." Said Vergil send air bullets that destroyed the lighting panther but Ansem expected this.
"Fire style dragon flame bomb." Said Ansem sending the black fire into the air bullets. The fire increased in size with the air bullets.
The black fire ball was heading towards Vergil as he went through hand signs to try and make a comeback as the fire ball come towards them.
Water style water bullets." Said Vergil sending three water bullets at the fire ball it didn't destroy it as it was too big.
The water bullets cause steam. Ansem smiled seeing the fire ball destroy everything in its path
"Well that anti climatic." Said Ansem starting to walk away.
"Earth style landslide." Said Vergil as Ansem eyes widen hearing Vergil voice below the ground.
The ground shifted underneath Ansem. As he feel Vergil hit him multiple times in the gut before kicking him in the face sending him to the other side of the room. Ansem bleeding more and the front of his jacket torn got up glaring at Vergil. Vergil started to pant as he felt weaker from the separation. Ansem seeing this smiled
"Vergil let end this with one move." Said Ansem
"Sound good to me." said Vergil
"Lightening blade." Said Ansem
"Rasengan" said Vergil
The two charged each other but before they could hit each other a boom tube appeared and suck Ansem inside. Vergil stop looking around seeing no one he used the yellow flash to go back to his sister.
When Vergil made it there he start to fall over. Wonder woman caught her brother.
"J'onn quick he needs help." Said wonder woman only for Vergil to look away.
"He got away." Said Vergil as wonder woman looked at him
"It ok just rest now we'll get him later" said wonder woman as Vergil went to unconscious from the fight and the separation from Ansem.
With Ansem
Ansem came charging out and turn to see Darkseid coming out of the rumble. Ansem glared at Darkseid.
"Why you do that?" asked Ansem
"We don't know the full effect of the black kryptonate yet. I'm risking my weapon on the fact that you want to kill your other." Said Darkseid
"You think I care about that. I am the god of darkness not your weapon ah." Said Ansem as he try to attack Darkseid only for him to get shock down to the floor
"It did work." Said Darkseid
"What did you do to me?" asked Ansem
"I planted a chip that should you try and attack me it would cause painful shock that will eventually kill you. Now you are my weapon nothing more nothing less. You sever me and if you disobey me. You will die. Enjoy your new home. God of darkness." Said Darkseid walking away as Ansem glared at his back
{No controls me once I get my chance you're going to regret it.} Though Ansem
