Arkham asylum
Naruto and ivy were sitting across from each other. Naruto was explain to ivy how he was separated from Ansem.
"So just like your darkness is gone?" asked ivy
"Yeah it feels weird like a weight is missing and that I'm not the same. Like I missing part of me but glad t gone at the same time." Said Naruto ivy put her hand up to the glass
"You may not admit it but that darkness was you even if you didn't want it to be." Saud ivy as Naruto put his hand to the glass
"Am I not the one that supposed to give you advice and make you feel better?" asked Naruto as ivy smiled
"Hasn't it always been that way?" asked ivy as Naruto laughed
"Yeah it has my black rose. I wanted you to know. I'm close to get your release in my care." Said Naruto as ivy frowned
"Why do try so hard Naruto? After everything I have done?" asked ivy
"I have no right to judge you. What have done is nothing compared to what I've done." Said Naruto
"Naruto." Said ivy
"Don't worry I will always forgive you." Said Naruto ivy was going to say something when the communicated in Naruto ears went off
"Vergil." Said superman
"Yeah supes?" asked Naruto
"We need you help in metropolis." Said superman
"Ok with what?" asked Naruto
"We were in pursuit of Lex when we lost him. We going to mercy and you tend to make people talk." Said superman
"Yeah I can make mercy talk. I'll be at Lexcorp." Said Naruto
"See you then." Said superman
Naruto end the communicated. He looked at ivy. She smiled at him.
"Go just don't do anything stupid." Said ivy
"Rose it's Me." said Naruto
"Yes that what worries me." said ivy
"Haha when you get a sense of humor?" asked Naruto as he used the flying thunder god to teleport to superman.
Ivy looked at the hand print Naruto left on the glass. {I have bad feeling about this. please be safe Naruto} thought ivy
Lexcorp
Vergil flashed beside superman and batman at the entrance of Lexcorp.
"Hey guys." Said Vergil
"Good to see you made it." Said superman
"Yeah so no luck looking around?" asked Vergil
"Nothing J'onn doing another sweep. Mercy will be the most likely person that he would come to." Said batman
"Yeah the only person Lex gives a shit about beside himself." Said Vergil getting a raise of eyebrow from batman and superman
"Yes let go." Said batman as the three enter an elevator and was taking them to the main office in Lexcorp
Mercy was try to make her office look better since Lex came because she had a feeling that the league would come. The elevator chime as she had just finish signal just what she thought.
"Well what can I do for you!" screamed mercy looking at Vergil
"Hey mercy still got the scar?" asked Vergil
"No thanks to you." Said mercy
"What did you do Vergil?" asked superman looking at Vergil
"Simple back when you weren't that well know and Lex was just starting getting Lexcorp off it feet. I need money as this was one of the last times I was off the island before being imprison. I took a hit on Lex try to kill him mercy moved him out of the way took the hit. Then after I got away, the two of them disappear. I expected Lex but mercy as well was a surprise. So I know for he cares you mercy so don't lie to us where is Lex?" asked Vergil looking at mercy
"Yes you two were very close." said batman as he a Vergil glared at mercy
"I'm a different person now." Said mercy
"Yea right you're just a dog waiting for her master to tell her what to do." Said Vergil
Mercy growled at Vergil. Vergil smiled daring her to do anything, but before that could happen. Superman grabbed Vergil shoulder.
"If that changes tell us mercy." Said superman
"I will." Said mercy as superman lead Vergil out with batman following
"Well that worked." Said Vergil as they enter the elevator
"What worked?" asked superman
"I use something ivy taught me. Basically I was testing to see how much mercy actually cared for Lex or if she did at all. The way she reacted show me that she does care, and Lex has either been here or will be here." Said Vergil
"Yes I picked up on it too I slip a mic in the room. It should find a location on Luthor soon." Said batman as superman and Vergil nodded
With the rest of the league
Hawkgirl was explaining what happen with the android that attacked them.
"He scanned us and got our powers and personality." Said hawkgirl flash stiffened up at that information.
{Oh that be bad if he gets a hold of all our powers.} Thought flash
"Who ever made it is dangerous. This android. Is it about ten feet tall, with greyish sliver skin?" asked wonder woman as she looked over the edge of the building they were on.
Wonder woman pointed down where the android was attacking police. Wonder woman flew over and wrapped her lasso around the android wrist.
"Wonder woman no." said flash
The android scanned her. He then pulled on the lasso. Wonder woman tried to keep the android from pulling her. The android was starting to win when it got blasted by a green energy. This blasted sent the android flying into one of the buildings.
The android looked up to see green lantern. It scanned him. A grey ring from on the android's right hand. The league charged at the android. He shot at them with the new ring. It send them flying into a billboard, and having it fall on them. Flash got up and stared at the android. Flash then charged at the android. The android see him coming made a ramp that cause the flash to fly into a wall. The android grabbed the flash and scanned him. Hawkgirl gave out a war cry charging at the android. He quickly dashed around her.
"Didn't see that one coming did you?" asked the android with his arm cross
"Water style giant vortex jutsu" Said Vergil behind the android
The android was hit by a vortex of water knocking him down.
"Did you see that coming?" asked Vergil he then walked over to his sister
"You guys need some help." Said superman as he land beside green lantern
"No way if he copies you or Vergil we'll have no chance of winning." Said green lantern
"Why" asked Vergil
"He can copy powers. If he copy yours or superman no telling. How powerful he'd be brother." Said wonder woman
The android had got up and scan superman. Android charged superman. Knocking him to the side. Wonder woman charged at the android. The android knocking her into the wall. Vergil seeing his sister being pushed around. Putting some of kurama charka as his eyes turned red. Vergil going through hand signs.
"Fire style phoenix flower jutsu" said Vergil sending multiple flames towards the android.
The android took the damage. Vergil grabbed yamato. Slashing the burning android across the chest. The android fell to the ground looking to be deactivated. Vergil lifted yamato up about to cut the android head off. The android blocked with a sword of his own. The android eyes now deep red like Vergil's. The android skin started to turn gold.
{no.} thought wonder woman
{Oh crap} thought kurama
{He not only scanned Naruto but you as well kurama} thought Minato
"Oh shit." Said Vergil as the android hit him in the gut and slashed Vergil across the back.
The android now with its own version of yamato. Vergil stood with yamato drew decide to see if the android could copy anything. Vergil slashed the android only for him to block the slash. Every move that Vergil did the android block it was starting to annoyed Vergil as even some moves he hadn't used in years were blocked. Vergil leg swept the android knocking it down. The android then did the spin move that Vergil did to Diana years ago in training that knocked her out. Vergil went flying into the wall.
"Water style water dragon jutsu" said the android
"Fire style dragon flame bomb." said Vergil
The two dragon one made of water and the another one made of fire clashed. This cause a massive steam cloud. Vergil looked around for the android. He then saw a reddish blackish ball of chakra emerge from the steam.
{no.} thought Vergil
{He can't put that much power into. If he does he level this whole state.} Thought kurama
{Yeah I know I'm going for devil trigger with some of your powers.} Thought Vergil
{Kit.} Thought kurama
{Not now kurama} thought Vergil
{Kit!} Thought kurama
{Just do it kurama} thought Vergil
{Naruto he's not aiming at you} thought Kushina
Vergil looked and saw Kushina was right. The android is aiming at his sister.
{no.} thought Vergil
Vergil actives the devil trigger turning half kitsune and gargoyle with an armor like coating over his head looking like a crown. Vergil flew in front of his sister kurama proved a one tail cloaked.
"Tailed beast bomb." Said the android launching the attack at the brother and sister
Vergil blocked the attack. As he was about to deflect the attack. The devil trigger deactivated. Vergil eyes widen not believing it. The tail beast boom hit Vergil's hands. The attack started to burn the skin off of Vergil's hands. Vergil using some of kurama strength pushed the attack away. Wonder woman who couldn't see do to the power of the attack heard some type of liquid hit the ground. Wonder woman looked up to see that Vergil hand was dripping blood with third degreed burns all over both arms so much that some of the bones could be seen.
"That hurt." Said Vergil as he dropped yamato and fell to the ground
"Vergil!" shouted wonder woman grabbing her brother checking to see if he was alive.
"Why? I understand that he's your teammate. Yet instead of attacking me you check on him?" asked the android
"He's family, and they come first." Said wonder woman
"Interesting but it won't stop me." said the android
"No but this might." Said batman taking out a thing of kryptonite
"uhh." Said the android started to feel pain for the kryptonite and started to crawl away.
"It's a package deal you get our strengths and our weaknesses." Said batman as the android jumped over the ledge.
Hawkgirl dropped down beside batman raising an eyebrow and ask "you always carry kryptonite with you?"
"Call it insurance. Diana you and J'onn get Vergil heal up at the watchtower. If you need help call this number. We're going after the android." Said batman as he handed a card to Diana before going over the ledge were the android went.
"Wonder woman we must hurry." Said J'onn as Diana nodded and took Vergil with her to the javelin.
Naruto mind
"Uh anyone get the bus that hit me?" asked Naruto looking around to see he was in his mindscape
"Yeah the android." said Minto standing beside Naruto.
"Did I win?" asked Naruto
"You idiot! Did I not tell you to let me see what had been effect from the separation! And you know what I found?!" asked kurama
"No but maybe if you stop yelling I could answer." Said Naruto holding his ears
"That 75 percent of your father power is gone!" shouted kurama getting a shock look from Naruto
"75 percent then the devil trigger. That why it fade out?" asked Naruto looking down at the ground not believing one of his most moves is gone
"Yeah if all three of us hadn't help. You probably be dead." Said Kushina
"Damn how bad am I hurt?" asked Naruto only for a sneak smile to appear on Kushina face.
"Oh I let her tell you time to wake up." Said Kushina
Naruto was ejected from the mindscape to see the med bay. Naruto look around the room to see his arms completely wrapped in bandages. On his right someone with black hair that covered her face asleep on the bed.
"Never could leave my side huh sis." Said Naruto
"Actually I did. She didn't" said Diana walking through the door to the med bay
"Wait then who?" asked Naruto as the person turned their head to reveal Zatanna
Naruto was shocked after their last interaction even though he left a gift. He figured that it would be a good long while before she would even be around him.
"We tried to heal you, but most of what we tried wasn't working. We then called the number that batman gave us. She agreed. When she found out it was you she almost push passed us just to get to you." Said Diana
{She still cares.} Thought Naruto looking at her
"Batman figured that sense she was magic she can help with the process, and when I had to go back to help with the android. She stayed with you not wanting to leave your side." said Diana walking over to the other side of Naruto bed
{I think the bat's trying to get big brother approval} thought Minato
{I not sure how I feel on that right now.} Thought Naruto
"You get some rest brother. Oh there is one thing I forgot." Said Diana hitting Naruto on the head
"Ow what was that for." Said Naruto he could even rub his head because of the cast on his arms
"For being stupid and make me worry about almost losing you. Please don't kill yourself for something I could deflect." Said Diana hugging her brother
"I'll try see yam sis." Said Naruto
"Goodbye Naruto." Said Diana as she walked out the door.
"You can quit faking now Zatanna." Said Naruto looking at Zatanna
"How you know?" asked Zatanna lifting her head from the bed
"Simply you suck at it." Said Naruto
"Yeah I couldn't trick you could I?" asked Zatanna
"No you couldn't Zatanna." Said Naruto as Zatanna looked at him weird. Naruto seeing the look asked "what?"
"You didn't call me showstopper." Said Zatanna
"I thought you didn't want me to." Said Naruto
"Your right uh thank you." Said Zatanna as Zatanna blushed
"Why you stay? I mean last time we meet wasn't exactly the best." Said Naruto
"Yeah I'm sorry I over reacted to you. I don't know where that anger came from." Said Zatanna
"It ok I deserved it. So how long am I here?' asked Naruto
"About a month, but after healed. If you want to talk just came and talk to me don't get hurt to do it." Said Zatanna getting wide eyes from Naruto
"What no I didn't do that on purpose. I was try stop come on it not trying to get hurt to talk to you. Not I didn't want to talk to you. I just be busy and" said Naruto until Zatanna started to laugh. Naruto glared at her then said "oh that a dirty trick showstopper."
"What can I say I learned from the best. I'll be back twice a week to check on you Naruto. Try not to hurt yourself." Said Zatanna as she smiled at the fact Naruto called her showstopper
{Ok I think I like being hurt. If she my nurse. It good to see showstopper smile again} thought Naruto with a smile
