"So Lilith, have you got that armour sorted out yet?"

I hadn't seen Sky all of last night, even after logging out to reality, but by the time I had reached the room containing the Nerve Gears she was already logged back in again. Yet even when we had logged on, both our friends lists said she was in the forgery. Yet neither of her could find where she was. But at almost exactly 12 noon she was in the shop section of the forgery and had begun questioning Lilith.

Lilith had only logged on about 5 minutes prior to this and had so far sat behind the counter, looking half asleep. "Yes, yes. I got your bloody armour and weaponry sorted out. There's no need shout about it this early in the morning." You could tell very easily that Lilith was very quick to irritate when she was tired.

"It's not morning anymore and I'm not shouting." Was the curt reply from Sky.

Lilith gave a large yawn before continuing, "Have any of you seen Val as he stayed logged in all night, for whatever reason." She seemed to have ignored Sky's stab at her and had turned away from her already.

"I haven't seen him." I hadn't been logged on for too long so I hadn't seen Val, nor did I know where he could have been this morning. To my side I saw Aurora shake her head in answer to Lilith. I wondered why Lilith hadn't just looked at her friends list or messaged him.

"We were out gathering information in the local towns. Last I saw him he said he was going to a place called the Valley of Dragons." Once again Sky came back with a curt and measured tone. At first Lilith seemed to barely take in what Sky had been saying, she seemed to be at the point of almost ignoring everything she was saying. However her attention was quickly drawn by the place Sky had stated.

"You can't be serious?" She said this in an exasperated tone that made it sound like something had happened there in the past. Although before anyone could give an answer she had flicked open her menu and was straight onto her friends list. She scrolled through the list before her finger stopped and hovered over a single name.

Her eyes went back up to Sky in a glare that showed sheer hatred for the other woman. "How long ago did he leave for the valley?"

"Not more than 3 hours ago." She gave her answer after a short pause in which she had opened her menu panel to look at the time. Once again though, she seemed almost as if she didn't care. Whilst on the other hand Lilith looked as if she might lose it.

"Your gear is on the room to the right. We're going now." She indicated towards the doorway behind her as she began to frantically flick through her menu panels and started to equip her own gear.

Sky was the first to leave the shop front and the expression across her face showed that she was smug that she had managed to get Lilith to freak out in such a way. To my side Aurora sighed and shook her head slightly before she started towards the doorway, pulling me with her by my hand.

The room was a small room that was completely empty of any furnishings or a window. Yet in the middle of the room stood 3 different armour stands. One held red and black armour, another dark blue armour and the last dark green and brown gear.

On the left was the red armour. It was heavy plate armour that seemed to be made up of a dark red metal with sections painted black. The helmet was the most intimidating piece of it though. The helmet had twirling and sharp horns and a visor that blocked all vision of the person behind.

Below the set of armour was the accompanying sword. As the armour would have suggested, the sword was in the form of a broad sword that looked heavier than anything that I could carry, let alone fight with. Currently the blade was sheathed in black leather and metal plated sheath, leaving the black metal cross guard visible.

In the middle was a significantly lighter set of armour. The majority of the set was made up of chainmail, which had been coloured dark blue. Above this was a layer of hardened leather that covered my chest and legs. However the shoulders and upper arms of the set had been made out of full plate.

On the floor in front of this set were two swords. The one closest to me was a short sword that seemed underwhelming and normal apart from a singular sapphire like gem placed in the pommel of the sword. The other sword was unmistakably a katana of some form. Once again the blade and grip seemed insignificant apart from a sapphire, this time larger, placed on the pommel of the grip.

The final set on the right could barely be called armour. It consisted of a green shirt, trousers and heavy knee high boots. The shirt had pieces of hardened leather placed over it to form some kind of protection, but no metal armour could be seen,

Next to it was a longbow that had been ornately carved out of a dark coloured wood. The bow was easily taller than I was and the thickness of the bow gave the impression that it was extremely powerful. Next to the bow was a quiver full of arrows. The fletchings however had been separated into differently coloured groups, red, blue, green and yellow. Presumably each of these arrows would do something different.

After the three of us had taken a few seconds to look over the brand new sets of gear we moved forwards in order to equip it. As I stood just in front of the armour stand a small, pale white, button came into view at around chest level. I raised my hand and pressed the button which brought up bright white panel.

Looking at the panel I saw that the set was made up of 4 different items. The two armour pieces were two parts of a 4 piece set named "Deep Sea Armour". The swords however seemed to be separate to the deep sea armour set. The shorter of the two was named the "Blade of Eir" whilst the katana was named "Steel of Eir", the name Eir meant little to me but I guessed that it was either the name of a god or a mythical being.

"Where did this naming scheme come from?" Although Sky seemed impressed by the armour set she had been given, considering the fact that she was already wearing it in full, she had to find something to complain about.

"The game is based off of Norse mythology and each set will have a name relating to where it came from. Come on it's a game, you should know by now that the naming systems are stupid." Lilith spoke from the open doorway and still sounded irritated.

She wore a full bright silver coloured chainmail shirt, around her chest and arms thick steel plates and leather padding had been placed over for extra protection. In her belt she carried two hand axes which had ornately engraved decorations across the faces of the blades.

"Now can we get going or do you want to complain more about some of the most obnoxious to forge blades in the game?" Unless she was lying she had given us reasonably high end and rare gear, presumably powerful as well. Sky looked as if she had more to say, but Aurora had already begun to walk back over to the door. As she passed Sky she shot a warning glare towards her which seemed to silence whatever she may have said.

"No, we don't have any more complaints. Let's get moving for this valley." Aurora's tone was unusually controlling and annoyed. She looked back at me and Sky with an accusatory glare, neither of us seemed willing to argue or complain. So I nodded and both me and Sky followed Lilith and Aurora out of the door.

"We'll take the teleport stone to the closest town and fly from there." Lilith said this in a much more passive way; she had also been caught off guard by Aurora's authoritative manner. After saying this she led us out of the Forge shop and began in the direction to the area's teleport stone.
