Deep inside the pitch-black dark chamber in the great big pyramid, there is a doorway on top of the next floor upfront. The two Genesect must get the staircase open by getting the four keys. Abruptly, four Infected Tentacool appears out of nowhere as they fall to the ground, and they land onto the ground as they confront Genesect and Red Genesect.
One Infected Tentacool asks, "Who goes there?!"
"Us, of course," answered Genesect.
"You are prohibited from going to the great big pyramid, so begone!"
The four Infected Tentacool pulls out their laser guns, and they point their laser guns at the two Genesect. "Get the keys, now!" ordered Red Genesect.
Genesect jumps into action as the four Infected Tentacool shoot laser projectiles, from their laser guns, to avoid the laser projectiles. After Genesect dodged the attack, he lands onto the ground with his feet.
"Bring it on!" declared Genesect.
Genesect uses Metal Claw by making his limbs glow white while he slashes at one Infected Tentacool. After attacking the alien, Genesect picks up a key, and he tosses it to Red Genesect.
As Red Genesect grabs the key, he says, "Good, only three more left."
Red Genesect uses Techno Blast by firing a beam of black and purple energy, from its cannon, at the two Infected Tentacool, thus taking damage.
"I want to do that too," added Genesect.
To finish them off, Genesect uses Techno Blast by firing a beam of green and white energy, from his cannon, at the rest of the Infected Tentacool.
After taking down the four Infected Tentacool, Genesect picks up the three remaining keys, and he gives them to Red Genesect. "We got the four keys, but how do we use them?" asked Genesect.
"There are four key holes on the wall," answered Red Genesect. "With those four keys, it will open four steps that can take us to the next area."
He inserts four keys into the key holes, and as he twists and turns the keys, the four steps appear, which the staircase has been opened. The two Genesect takes the steps as they proceed to the next room, which is on the second floor.
As the two Genesect enters the second room, this room has a sand slide that leads to the mummy's chamber. "Why don't we go onto an awesome wild slide ride on the sand slide?" offered Genesect, as he folds into his High-Speed Flight Form.
Genesect slides down onto the sand slide. "Really?" asked Red Genesect sarcastically. "That's silly."
Red Genesect sits on the slide and slides down like normal. However, the sand slide is an endless corkscrew slide. 15 minutes later, Red Genesect impatiently says, "This slide is taking way too long!"
He is trying to think up of a solution to end the endless sand slide puzzle. "I am not getting tired about this fun endless sand slide," disagreed Genesect in glee.
However, Red Genesect sees the wall for a few seconds. Then, he sees a platform, and Red Genesect jumps toward the platform.
While Genesect is sliding around in a circle, Red Genesect notifies, "Hey, stop sliding. We made it through."
Upon hearing Red Genesect, the purple bug flies to Red Genesect to go to the platform. Then, Genesect unfolds and lands onto the platform near Red Genesect.
The two Genesect glances toward a door leading to the mummy's chamber. "This is it, the key to destiny," said Red Genesect, as they enter the door to the chamber.
Inside the mummy's chamber, this room has a dark-blue room with a door between the two statues of a flower-like monster. "Hey, wait a second," noticed Genesect suspiciously. "Doesn't these statues look like the Giant Eternal Flower with the head of the Infected Tentacruel King Overlord on the center?"
"Aaah!" screamed Red Genesect in horror. "Another omen!"
The two Genesect are 15 steps away from the door with the two statues between the door. As Genesect walks five steps, he unintentionally steps on a tile, which triggers the trap. As the tile is pressed, the flower statues' eyes glare red as the trap is activated. A laser beam fired from the statue's eyes beam towards Genesect; thankfully, Genesect dodges the laser with a ninja roll.
"Whew, close call," sighed Genesect in relief.
He then takes ten steps, and Genesect unknowingly steps onto another tile, which causes the flower statues' eyes to flash red. The trap opens a flamethrower cannon from the wall.
"Genesect, look out!" alerted Red Genesect, as he pushes the purple bug out of the way.
Thankfully, they both avoided the flamethrower trap. "That was a closer one!" panted Red Genesect. "We almost got burned to death."
After safely avoiding the traps, the two Genesect arrive to the door with a lock, and the padlock has a slide puzzle that represents an ancient portrait of the flower-like monster.
"Is there an easy way to solve this puzzle?" asked Genesect.
"No, but you have to figure it out," replied Red Genesect.
Genesect taps his foot as he thinks. Then, the purple bug has hatched an idea. "I have an easier way to solve this puzzle," realized Genesect in glee.
He peels off the pieces from the slide puzzle, and Genesect puts them together into the right place. The door opens while the two flower statues' eyes glare green.
As the two Genesect enter the door, it reveals a mummy's coffin. "Let's open this bad boy," planned Genesect.
He opens the mummy's coffin, and there is nothing but a deep abyssal pitfall. "Don't go too close," alerted Red Genesect. "You'll fall in here."
Genesect looks deep into the coffin, and he unfortunately falls into the abyss. "I've warned you," commented Red Genesect.
Red Genesect pushes the coffin out of the way, and it shows a hole on the floor that Genesect fell. "Wait a minute," realized Red Genesect. "That hole leads to the volcanic section below the surface of planet Ravenous Ruins. This must be the place where we rescue Orange Floette. Hang on, Genesect. I am coming for you!"
He jumps into the hole to follow Genesect.
