The two Genesect falls in the abyss for hours; however, they see light below them. Then, they land onto the rocky surface as Genesect and Red Genesect arrive at the volcanic section of planet Ravenous Ruins. The lava resembles the ones from Pac-Man World 2.
"Ooh, the lava is made of pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese!" exclaimed Red Genesect mindlessly in glee.
"No wait!" bellowed Genesect in horror, as he holds Red Genesect's limb to prevent him from moving. "The lava is not made of pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese! It really is hot lava!"
"Ok, I understand," replied Red Genesect.
The two Genesect starts their trek in the volcanic area. Genesect jumps onto a falling tall platform, and as he lands onto it, the platform falls like a mighty oak. He quickly jumps onto a stable platform. Then, the two Genesect goes to the chamber with hot air spraying from the spouts.
"Eek! Hot air, that is dangerous!" exclaimed Genesect.
"No need to worry, Genesect," reassured Red Genesect. "We're immune to the hot air from the spouts because we are made of metal."
As they easily made it through the chamber of hot air spouts, Genesect spots a canoe with cast-iron paddles. "There is a canoe with cast-iron paddles," pointed Genesect. "We must float above the lava with that."
Genesect and Red Genesect boards into the canoe as it sails onto the lava.
Abruptly, fireballs pop out of the lava, and Genesect says, "Campfire; hot, hot!"
"It's not a campfire," replied Red Genesect. "Those are fireballs! Don't end up like me with the lava looking like pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese."
"Sorry, Red Genesect."
Without warning, Stony from Pac-Man World 2 roused from the lava behind the canoe. It roars and shoots out fireballs. "Really, another Pac-Man World 2 reference?" complained Red Genesect.
Stony then chases the canoe while spitting out fireballs. "Fire-Type is my only weakness!" panicked Genesect, as he frantically paddles faster with the cast-iron oars.
The canoe evaded the fireballs, and Red Genesect uses Techno Blast by firing a black and purple beam of energy, from its cannon, at Stony.
As the monster is defeated, Red Genesect crankily asks, "Happy now?"
"Yes, thanks for saving me," replied Genesect, as he starts to calm down.
The canoe arrives to the rocky island. As the two Genesect climbs off the canoe, Genesect says, "Close call. What is next, the Flame-O-Matic from Pac-Man World 2?"
Suddenly, the Infected Hexacool, with his Flame-O-Matic, floats down in front of Genesect and Red Genesect. "Does this answer your question?" asked the Infected Hexacool.
"Yep, I was right," gulped Genesect in horror.
"With this Flame-O-Matic, I can finally get my revenge on you two for burning me with your Blaze Kick against my divine Snow-O-Matic. Not to mention, you have foiled my plans too many, and now it's time to burn! Prepare to be incinerated, pesky bugs!"
"That's it!" snapped Red Genesect. "I cannot take those stupid Pac-Man World 2 references anymore! You are on your own, Genesect!"
Red Genesect folds into his High-Speed Flight Form as he flies away from Genesect. "Red Genesect, come back!" begged Genesect.
As Red Genesect flew away and left Genesect, the poor lonely purple bug falls on his knees as he begins to sob. Genesect is all alone, unprotected, and scared.
"Aww, don't cry, Genesect," reassured the Infected Hexacool sarcastically. "I will keep you company… with fire, so you can be burned!"
