Notes: I apologize SO MUCH for the Ridiculously long hiatus, Friends! But, here comes the Boss Battle in the game; Against the Monster's Second Form!

I revised the previous chapter as well. Originally it was uploaded in 2017, but as it's been so long, TOO LONG, I went and revised it a bit.

My description of the monster is: XYZ-Dragon Cannon, with Stone Statue of the Aztecs' hands and head on the front, VW-Tiger Catapult's rockets and Y-Dragon Head's wings on the back of X-Head Cannon, Armed Dragon Level 7's head in place of X-Head Cannon's head, Launcher Spider's Missile Launchers on the shoulders, and Barrel Dragon's blasters; Two on the shoulders, and the third on top of the V-Tiger Jet's head.

Stage 21: Boss Battle; Demon Form 2

The Heroes were standing in front of a huge castle, which; had what looked like gears in places where a spire, turret, or cannon would be on any other castle.

"Ancient Gear Castle!" Jaden and Alexis chorused, blushing as they realized they spoke at the same time.

"Love story enough?" Aggie asked, smiling gently.

"And what are you and Dirk?" Sparkle asked, winking at Link, who winked back.

"Let's go," said Link; 4 Sword at the Ready.

The group made their way slowly; Timidly in the cases of some like Princess Sparkle, toward the giant castle.

*Double Dragon 2 Mission 6 music kicks up*

"This place is huge," said Aggie.

"And Scary," said Sparkle.

"Be on your guard," Astral instructed.

The group stood in an expansive hallway; Grey and black checkered floors, grey stone/brick walls, a long red carpet down the length of the floor. But strangely enough, the only things in the room were the cylindrical pillars holdinng up the ceiling; No throne, no tables, nothing.

Suddenly, there was a rumbling as the room shook. Up ahead, at the far end of the room, tiles in the floor swung open and a huge, cylindrical apparatus came up through the floor; Like a giant, round elevator.

The monster that stood there had: Grey, stone hands and face, on the front of a yellow tank, a long red dragon neck extending from the "Nose" of the statue, what looked like blades in a dragon's stomach inside the stone statue's mouth, and a huge blue and yellow robotic torso at the top, and red wings and huge cannon-like barrels on top of the head and shoulders of the blue robotic torso.

"Compared to this thing, Mantid's Arc of Destiny is half heroic!" Hunter said, transforming.

"Compared to Shadow Kahn, this thing can enduce nightmares," Jimmy said, "but without shooting Terror Discs."

No sooner had Jimmy finished speaking, did the monster begin to fire discs/blades from the Armed Dragon's stomach in the Statue's mouth.

The Heroes dodged, and went separate ways: Hunter, Jaden, Jimmy, and Dirk one way, Alysa, Alexis, Sparkle, Aggie and Link another.

The group rejoined in the center of the room, joined hands, and Link activated the 4 Sword. The group multiplied so that there were 4 of each member.

Then, the 4 copies of Alexis summoned their Cyber Bladers, the 5 Jaden's summoned Elemental Hero Shining Flame Wingman, and each played MegasMorph.

The monsters attacked, as the 4 Jimmy Lees, and the 4 Links, thrust their swordss into the mechanical behemoth's back!

Light! Heat! Fire? Brighter annd brighter it grew, as the Heroes each shielded their eyes.

Alysa donned the Armor, and swung the Sword swiftly. Slashing the mechanized dragon across the chest with all her might.

"I... can't... hold on!" Sparkle cried.

Soon, the light was too strong, and a cool female computer voice could be heard alternating between: "System Overload!", and "Thank you for Playing..."

Billy worked quickly to deactivate the system as the pods slowly opened one by one. With the help of the rest of the Heroes, Billly and Marion got the Heroes that entered the game to the Infirmary.

The weather on Earth was getting dark, cold and stormy. The energy taken from the Heroes' attacks on the monster seemed to strengthen its physical form, while the form inside the game was overwhelmed by such positive energies.

And thus the game is beaten, but the monster had absorbed enough energy to escape the game.

And sadly, I still don't know how to have Link, Aryll, and Saria help Astral regain his memories. That, and the final destruction of the monster are the last two parts of the Legend to complete.
