Genesect unfolds and lands onto the floor as he is inside the castle; the castle is both medieval and futuristic, like Royal Road from Kirby's Triple Deluxe. "This is it," said Genesect. "Now, I must enter the throne room, so I can fight against the Infected Tentacruel King Overlord to rescue Shiny Eternal Flower Floette."
In the first hallway, there are four doors there. "Which door should I go?" he asked to himself.
Genesect thinks as he taps his foot. "I think I will enter door 2," decided Genesect, as he enters door 2.
Upon entering door 2, Genesect arrives in a dark room with red security laser beams all around. "Gee whiz," said Genesect. "This looks quite hard, and experienced spies can make it through."
He slowly moves above and below the lasers while trying not to touch the security laser beams. Without warning, Genesect's cannon accidentally touches the laser beam that the alarm has set off, which causes all the laser beams to dissipate.
"Uh oh," said Genesect.
The laser cannons, from the ceiling, unfold as they fire laser projectiles toward Genesect. He avoids the laser projectiles with good speed and coordination. Afterwards, the laser cannons fold back to the ceiling, and three Infected Tentacool, holding their laser blaster guns, show up.
"Bring it on!" declared Genesect.
Abruptly, nine more Infected Tentacool show up, which has the total of twelve in the room. They surrounded Genesect, and one Infected Tentacool announces, "You are surrounded, Genesect! There is no way to escape."
"Not today!" replied Genesect rebelliously.
Genesect uses Techno Blast by firing a beam of green and white energy, from its cannon, to wipe out all twelve Infected Tentacool. After defeating the school of Infected Tentacool, Genesect exits the room as he proceeds to the second hallway.
At the second hallway, there are three doors. The first door contains a dining room, the second door leads to the Infected Tentacruel King Overlord's bedroom, and the third door is an unknown room.
"Hmm, I must make an educated guess on which door to choose," decided Genesect.
He walks to the first door, and Genesect enters a dining room. Since he did not choose the correct door, Genesect leaves the room. Upon returning to the hallway, Genesect goes to the third door.
As he enters the room by taking the third door, this dark room has an abyss with swinging ropes. "I must jump and swing from one rope to another to make it through this room," summarized Genesect.
Genesect jumps to a swinging rope; he times his swinging carefully as he swings to another rope. While jumping from one rope to another, Genesect unknowingly grabs onto a greasy rope that he frantically swings to another one, but he missed as Genesect falls.
"No worries," boasted Genesect. "I can float back up."
He floats up to the other side of the abyss. "That was a piece of cake," chuckled Genesect, as he moves onward to the third hallway.
Inside the third hallway, it has two doors, one has the researcher's room on the left while the second door to the right leads to the staircase to the throne room. Genesect enters the right-side door, which leads to the staircase.
"I'll save you, Shiny Eternal Flower Floette!" cried Genesect in determination.
Genesect runs up to the staircase; however, it turned out to be an endless staircase. Two hours later, Genesect becomes exhausted from walking on the stairs.
"How do I end the endless staircase?!" panted Genesect.
While standing still, Genesect looks at every step; suddenly, Genesect notices that the one step he is standing on is not covered in rug. "This might end the endless staircase," noticed Genesect, as he steps on the uncovered step very hard.
As a result, the room glows white that the endless staircase puzzle is solved. Finally, Genesect continues to walk the last steps. Upon reaching the top of the stairway, Genesect enters the door to the throne room.
Inside the throne room, Genesect confronts the Infected Tentacruel King Overlord, as the king sits on his throne. "You finally made it through my hallways, Genesect," praised the Infected Tentacruel King Overlord with sarcasm.
"Release Shiny Eternal Flower Floette this instant!" demanded Genesect.
"If you want Shiny Eternal Flower Floette, then you must battle against me!"
The Infected Tentacruel King Overlord gets off his throne as he gets ready to battle against Genesect.
