We spent the following day checking on Sadi every half a hour because she was still in pain, we gave her some more Tylenol every couple of hours and when we weren't doing that we sat on the couch. I was playing with Tony's fingers as I sat on his lap, his arms wrapped around my waist.
"I never knew how hard it was for my mother to go through this with me and Tali, but seeing Sadi go through all the pain she went through last night, and seeing her struggling was torture, and I understand exactly why she did the things she did" I whispered and I felt Tony's arms tighten a little, his way of reassuring me that everything was going to be fine, it wasn't often I talked about my past let alone my mother and I was grateful that he didn't push his luck.
"I know it was so hard watching her go through that, all I wanted to do was take her pain away and make it mine" he said knowing exactly how I was feeling.
"I just keep on hoping that it will get easier to deal with and we'll be able to find a way of managing it with ease, but I know thats not going to happen" I said and he kissed the top of my head.
"If this is how we react to her getting an ear infection imagine what we'll be like when she's got a tummy bug for the first time" he said trying to make a joke of this but when I shoot him a look he stopped, pulling me even closer still
"I know Zi, its not something to joke about and all we want to do is wrap her up in bubble wrap to protect her from the outside world but we can't do that, she needs to be able to fight these things" he said and I nodded in agreement. I understood, there was nothing we could do to stop her from getting sick, I mean it was guareented to happen, maybe it was just because she was so young, she wasn't old enough to fight illness by herself the way we can.

Honestly it didn't suprise me that when I went in to check on Sadi the first thing she did was nuzzle closer to my breast, her mouth nibbling on my top. I smiled and got into a comfortable position for me to breast feed her and when she was finally suckling I smiled down at her. I didn't notice Tony was in the room until he wrapped his arms around my waist and then placed one hand on my hand that was currently supporting Sadi's bottom.
"She's definitely got your eating habits" I said still smiling, I wasn't complaining because it just reminded me that this was usually my one on one time with Sadi and I loved it with a passion.
"Admit it you wouldn't have it any other way Ziva" he said and I smiled, he could read me so well, it used to scare me just how well but now it reminded me that we were forever and always.
"Your right" I said and kissed him before looking down at Sadi who had fallen asleep in my arms
"I know we just had her but do you ever think about having another?" he asked and I nodded slightly, ever since I had accepted his proposal, finding out that I was pregnant with Sadi and now having her I was defianetly thinking about having another child
"Not just yet though" I said and he smiled,
"I know" he whispered and kissed my forehead.

We put Sadi down in her bed and made our way back out to the lounge, I smiled at how quickly we had fallen into a pattern with Sadi and everything, it was like she had always been there and we weren't doing anything different. Later that evening when Tony was in the kitchen making dinner and I was in the lounge ironing the washing there was a knock on the door. I turned off the iron and made my way out to open the front door. Opening the door I smiled at seeing McGee there, he looked nervous though and when I invited him he ran straight into the lounge and paced up and down. I called Tony out of the kitchen and we watched a little as he continued to pace. Eventually though our worry for our friend became too much and I made my way to his side
"What is it Tim?" I asked placing my hand on his shoulder and he stopped dead in his tracks.
"I need your help with something and it has to be kept a secret from Abby" he said and I looked at Tony before we both looked at him with raised eyebrows. He sighed and answered
"I'm going to propose to Abby on her birthday" he said and I smiled
"Aw thats so cute" I said clapping my hands together excitedly
"Congratulations Timmy, what do you want us to do?" Tony asked, and so Tim spent the next half hour explaining his plan to us.
"Are you sure you guys will be able to do this?" he asked and we nodded
"Of course Tim" Tony said and I nodded my head in agreement
"Anything for you Timmy" I said and he smiled
"Thank you" he said and plonked down in one of the chairs and so we did too.

About ten minutes of silence followed until Tim asked
"How's Sadi doing now?" and we smiled
"She's doing alright now, she had an ear infection" Tony said and he nodded
"They can be really painful, and to a six week old child. You guys must've been tearing your hair out with worry" at that comment we laughed
"Almost" I told him at his raised eyebrow
"Oh right" he said and we smiled, Tony getting up to resume cooking dinner. Tim took that as his cue to leave
"I'll leave the three of you alone. Goodnight Ziva, Tony. I'll see you tomorrow right Tony?" he asked and we both heard the
"You betcha" coming from the kitchen. I smiled and walked Tim out, he kissed me on the cheek and I kissed him back, he smiled and turned around heading toward his car, this was going to be an interesting weekend.
