Last time: Oga returned home after working, well, not working more like getting the ropes to his new found job. However, when he returned he was met with...
"Hilda."
Chapter 3
Oga nearly took a step back, he wasn't - well, no he was stupid and dumb on occasion's, but right now he wasn't and he knew when Hilda was getting pissed ( as it meant trouble). And, right now she was looking extremely livid; her one green emerald glossy, yes glossy eye glittered and shine with anger at him.
He was trying-trying fruitlessly; this was a task usually not hard to do take in her appearance. As, elegant as she always looked, but with that earth scattering, sometime infuriating beautiful ( like now) scowl masking over her features still looked to him hot.
'No! Shit, I can be thinking that now!' What happened to wondering where his wacko family was when he needed them? What happened to wishing Beel was up? Gah…Oga wanted to punch himself for his thoughts wondering so treacherously? Of course, he admitted that she was hot and beautiful and his wife, but right now wasn't the time for his mind to dwell into such thoughts not now.
….seriously, not now as he was about to get pulverize if he didn't do something or the demon spoke instead of hitting him with that parasol.
What was going on inside the douchebag mind? Leaving the house at an hour right when the young master loved to watch that show with him, leaving, leaving even her... for all she knew he could have been with that human Kuneida Just thinking about it made her want to pull out her parasol.
"Douchebag," the demoness growled so furiously and quietly.
Oga inwardly thanked the woman for saying something, that, that gave him more than enough time to compose himself. But, damn it she must have gotten close while he was shaking the thoughts out of his head! That had to be it.
"Look, back up, bitch. Then, I'll answer."
Hilda smirked triumphantly , but during the close range as the douchebag ( she refuse to call anything else at the moment) was staring her longer than needed she did her own inspection; though she would impale anyone and herself if ever admitted. Well, figuratively speaking anyway, but don't put it past her. The douchebag certainly has grown-certainly not matured, ha that would be the day hell froze over. Snort, no he grown in his looks. His hair was still as messy as ever, eyes as demonic and defiant , challenging, sharp features that just made him truly deserving- She scowled enough of this! Her mind had a tendency to whirl more towards human thoughts rather than demon thoughts when Oga came to mind, but right now she had to get her answers; "Start talking; douchebag."
Oga twitched. Damn woman. Well, if Hilda, yes Hilda he was going to show some maturity. Hehe, he smirked slightly, but to the normal eye it just looked as if he was giving a tired smile; this going to throw her off for a loop. "Fine, Hilda, but can't this wait? I'll tell you when I'm certain we won't wake up the household."
Hilda was momentarily speechless. Okay, what the hell was going on?!The only time they call each other name was during truly serious situations. From his expressions or his scent he wasn't with the human girl Kuneida, creepy, or anyone else. So, her earlier thoughts - presumptions were swiftly thrown out the window.
"Oi," Oga's voice raised her from her pondering and caused the maid servant to turn her head to the left, facing the delinquent who had one foot on the third step of the stairs; "You coming up, woman?"
For a few seconds there was silence, but Hilda then huff with a scowl and began to head up the stairs muttering a, 'sewer rat' as she headed towards the bedroom. Oga scoffed with a roll of his eyes. He quickly grabbed his boxes and a white muscle shirt, waltz the hallway and headed towards the bathroom.
It was a good thing Oga thought as he soaked, bashed in the shower waters that cascaded like rain drops along his tone, muscled skin; it was good that the fifteen meter thing didn't apply anymore. With that he sighed contently as his muscles relaxed, beginning to wash himself thoroughly he stepped out the shower and dressed.
He idly wondered if Hilda would like the house and the neighborhood, not to mention, the gift he gotten her. Shaking his head left and right, Oga stepped out the bathroom completely, shutting the door and headed to his- their room. He opened the door to find them both asleep. With a soft smile tugging his lips, Oga trotted towards the bed and quietly entered, placing an arm around them both as he drifted off to sleep; grudgingly forcing the thought that he meets Yamari out of his mind before finally consuming to sleep.
Hilda awoke feeling warm and safe, something she wouldn't admit to the person that provided such feelings. However, there was also that strange feeling from last night. That feeling of slightly emptiness, it creeps in when that douchebag Oga isn't present. Come to think of it where was he? It wasn't a school day, Hilda knew, but...
"Mah…da…bu…"
Hilda scoped up baby Beel and headed down stairs; apologizing along the way to Beel, but inwardly cursing Oga for causing her to think about him instead of noticing that her young master was up.
"Ara, Hilda-chan," Mrs. Oga smiled with her usual perky self. She handed Hilda and grandson, Beel a plate of breakfast. "You just missed Tatsumi-kun. He will be back later."
Hilda nodded mutely in her usual fashion just as Misaki came down from the living room area. "You have a package, Hilda-Chan." The elder Oga sibling placed the package that she held on the counter before joining at the table. A few minutes later, Hilda took the package while Misaki and parents watched Beel.
It was from demon world.
Oga stood before the house that he was adamant on getting for his family, the house that was going to be given to him by Yamari. It was a three-story home build around bricks and white stone ; yellow coloring on the outside, 3 bedrooms with one master bedroom, 2 bathrooms with ½ bathroom; each side of the house had a small garden or patch of simple yet elegant flowers. The front door was painted black, well was in the process of being that color.
"Good, you made it, boy," Yamari glanced from his lashes as he held the paint. Oga hands in pockets just grunted in greeting, "enter through the side door, Hana needs help with the packing. And, one note be careful with the China."
Oga grumbled in annoyance, but strolled towards the side and entered the opened door greeting the middle age woman in the process. "Greetings, no time, young lad," she says shoving rather gently a closed box in his hands; "These China's need to be placed in the car."
Oga nodded, turning around as he came and went to the car placing the delicate China inside. "It didn't take you two long to find a place," he commented off-handedly.
Hana shook her head a smile playing on her features, "no, dear. It was easy my husband found a home online and we saw it early this morning. Immediately when we came back here I wanted to pack and get moving. The house is big enough for us both and Suzuki our youngest."
Oga supposed that the woman wanted a quieter town than Ishiyama for their youngest child. He could see that actually, maybe that's his second reason to moving out his parents' home, ha nah that wasn't like him. He said nothing as Hana handed him a box foiled glasses wrapped neatly together; took them within his hold and headed to take them in the car just like the China ware.
After placing item after item from the kitchen to the car; Oga knelt with a screwdriver taking the table apart. "Oh, don't worry about that dear, we aren't taking the table, you can just paint it to your liking."
"No," unscrewing the nail; "that okay, I want to move this table in the front over there; it taking too much walk- in- space."
"AH!" Hana gasped pleasant surprise. "I told my husband that, but he said, 'more guest to keep an eye on'."
Souta chuckled, "It's the truth," he had paint in his hands. "How about I help you there, the door is drying." Without Oga saying anything, Yamari knelt took the white part of the chair and placed them on the side before unscrewing another side of the table. "You know," Yamari said after a moment of silence. "With your help we will be out this house by the weeks end."
Oga scoffed quietly, done with helping with the front part of the house, never mind that they didn't start on the rooms yet, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and stretched for a final time before waving nonchalantly to the two before leaving to return home; tired.
"Fool," Oga closed the door having entered, but slightly, oh, so slightly startled at seeing Hilda, but quickly composed him-self.
"What now, woman?"
"Fool," her tone was biting, scathingly. Pushing his annoyance aside knowing that Hilda was serious in this matter, he, Oga Tatsumi took in a deep breath and looked at her in the eye serious as well. "We need to go to demon world."
Oga groaned. "Now? Seriously, can't this wait, Hilda?"
Hilda set her jaw in a fine line giving Oga a scathing glare that would sent a lesser man running. Damn her in getting her way! Oga sighed frustratingly, "fine. Let's go."
….and that's how Oga found himself carrying a baby girl, more specifically Beel sister, Nico. He scowled just as if his life couldn't get any more complicated, but maybe thinking this might just be what the demon women beside him needed.
"Fool quit staring," Hilda said in her usual tone just ready to piss Oga off, however, right now Oga wasn't about to be sacked of by her, no he was going to be throwing her off.
"I'm not sorry, you just beautiful."
He inwardly did a victory dance. Oh, yea! Oga 2, Hilda 0.
"Humph" she sounded put off, but only for a second; "don't utter prissy nonsense, Tatsumi."
Damn and his score dropped back to one. Hilda hid her emotions well enough to pass up the idiot by a few steps, so he couldn't see her blush niether could she see his.
'Dorn her,' Oga thought as he fought his blush down. It happened every time she says his name so casually like that.
They entered the room, placing the two sleeping infants on the bed. Oga coughed lightly, "listen Hilda." Hilda gave him the look of I'm listening, Oga continued. "I know, cough, look….um, last night I returned here, and today-this morning I left again, well it will be like that." He glanced at the two sleeping infants for moment. "I wasn't expecting, Nico, but this…"
"Spit it out, Tatsumi you fool."
Cut! Un-BETA… Anyways, as story goes on more into Tantei Company and so forth. But, preview…
Oga took in a breath, wondering if he was even breathing at all. The sight before him….
Frm the preview, what does this development mean? :D Nico makes her first appearance!
