Chapter 24

I can not apologise enough about how late this was! I have just started sixth form and they have piled all these course works and essays. I have managed to get round to updating but I am so sorry and I hope you all forgive me.

I promise to try and update frequently but I can't promise it but I honestly did try my hardest to get round to doing it.

Back and forth, Back and forth...the swaying motion hit me as I awoke from my slumber. Flicking my eyes open I looked around blinking trying to adjust to my new surroundings. I was in a clear white room with pale pink flowers painted on the walls around me, it looked almost realistic. Instead of having corners my room was more circular than square. I smiled softly as I laid back into back staring at the clear blue sky through my windowed ceiling. I was on my dad's boat, he was proud of his beauty and I couldn't blame him, it was amazing, fit for my daddy.

Giggling I turned into my bed and stretched checking the time on my phone, it read 8:38am and I groaned yawning. I hated being up early yet I was wide awake and in twenty minutes time everyone would be up for breakfast. Reaching across I grabbed my hair brush swinging my legs out of bed as I brushed my hair to sort the mess on tangles entrapped in my hair.

My clothes were laid on the chair before me as I smiled admiring my newly bought outfit. It was a cream summer dress with lace flowers patterning across the dress and with it gold, gladiator sandals. I couldn't wait to be out in the sun feeling it warm my face, my hands tingled at the excitement coming as I squealed in delight to begin the start of my holiday.

Quickly sorting my hair into a messy bun I grabbed my dress and slipped it over my bikini before strapping the shoes on me. Today was going to be perfect, spending the day on the boat in the middle of ocean with no one to bother us but ourselves only. I needed this, I needed to be with my family with no interruptions of out past hectic lives. As I shoved my ray bans onto my head I rushed out letting my nose follow the smell of the waffles, bacon and pancakes. Mm my favourite.

My dad was sat at the table in fresh, linen white top and his rolled up trousers as he grinned at my mom his sunglasses covering his eyes. He slowly fed my mom the strawberries layed out on her pancakes and she gladly accepted them ensuring that her tongue trailed around his fingers before pulling back. I successfully cringed at my parents flirting and sat across from my dad. Mom jumped back startled sorting out her navy blue playsuit as she blushed. Clearly to wrapped up in my dad to even notice that I had come for breakfast. I grinned at my parents and shifted my glasses over my eyes 'Morning!' I said all too chirpily but it drew a grin from them both.

'It's too early for you to be this happy, what's happened?' Mom giggled at my dad's fake shock reaction and I rolled my eyes behind my glasses. 'Can a girl not be happy to be spending her days in the pure sunshine? Taking a break from the school stress?' I grinned stretching my arms up as my mom nodded, 'I hope we have a lovely time, I've been looking forward to this' I nodded in agreement drinking my fresh orange juice admiring the choice of food that was available for me. 'Go on, eat what you want princess' Dad's voice piped up from opposite me and I nodded scavenging what food I could onto my plate before the boys could hog it all.

After breakfast we all went our different ways, Theodore and Dad decided that they wanted to do some jet-skiing whereas mom and I decided to sunbath so we clambered onto the cushioned, dark wooden loungers. They were laid out by the pool on the decking with a kiddy pool fitted besides it. Mom watched Jaxon splash around the kiddy pool as I laid back and closed my eyes feeling the sun beat down on my bikini clad body.

A few hours later I was jolted awake by my mum brushing my hair with her long fingers smoothly into my bun. She smiled at me as she kissed my head 'time to turn over, I'll rub cream into your back' I nodded tiredly as I turned onto my front and allowed mom to knead into my back. Once she was done I watched my mom walk over to jaxon and swing him on her hip I smiled watching and looked at my phone, two new messages from Isaac. My heart jumped in my mouth as I grabbed my phone and slid to see the text.

Isaac: Hey sleepy beauty, hope you're having a great time x

Isaac: I miss you baby, when can you talk? Lonely without you :( x

I grinned at the text and bit my lip as I tapped out a reply.

Phoebe: Greetings from my daddy's boat! Hope you don't miss me to much, I'm having a great time so far it's way too relaxing. But I miss you to, there's hole that only you can fill x

As I pressed send and watch it deliver to him my eyes widened with realisation as to what I had said, it never meant to rude! I cringed inwards hoping that he wouldn't respond but then my phone beeped in my hand and I looked.

Isaac: you know...I like the sound of that ;) who knew Phoebe Grey could sext!

Phoebe: Shut up! I never meant it like that!

I groaned loudly and face planted my lounger, of course he'd think of that...trust him...mind you everyone thinks of things in dirty ways it's just the human brain. I felt my phone jingle in my hand signaling a new message sighing I checked my unread message.

Isaac: I knew what you meant, I was messing around ;) besides I know you mean the hole in your heart or the empty stomach feeling...I feel that to but I'm happy because I know you're enjoying yourself. What you doing anyway?X

I smiled and ran my finger over the text, I really liked this guy...I liked everything about him, there is no fault.

Phoebe: I still miss you...sunbathing, what does a girl normally do in the sun?x

Isaac: I hope you're protected I'd hate to think of you in pain...wish I was there though x
Phoebe: Let me guess, to rub cream into my back?;)

I giggled at the text and reached behind undoing my bikini to sunbath my back with no tan lines.

Chewing my lip as my heart beat hard against my chest, I decided to be daring.

Isaac: I like that, when?

Phoebe: Soon, I have to get ready for tonight soon

Looking up I watched my mom dry Jaxon as he whined tiredly reaching towards my dad who had obviously returned from his jet-skiing. 'Let mommy dry you first son' I heard my dad say as he sipped his juice...although it looked like a cocktail. I returned my gaze to my mom as she towel dried Jaxon's hair then watched him leap into my dad's arms falling asleep as he carried him inside. I looked at my phone.

Isaac: Can't wait to see you, I'm on and waiting for you x

I smiled and checked the time, I need to go in and get ready now anyway. Sighing I tied myself back up and picked up my clothes. 'I'm going to get ready now mom' I kissed her cheek and she nodded 'alright, be ready for seven sweetie' I grinned and strolled inside turning on my laptop. Whilst i waited for it to load I stood in front of the mirror.

My light pink bikini brought out the brownness that had burnt onto my skin and I smiled trailing my finger over my skin. I felt tight but not sore, I was proud of my achievement today.
