I do not (sadly) own the turtles. You think Nick could be a little more considerate and share, but nooo. Anyway, Viper is mine, so is the idea behind her.

I opened my eyes and sat up with a groan. After looking around, no one was to be seen. It seemed wrong to get up and wander around so I laid back down.

My thoughts drifted back to my wonderful nightmare I had the night before.

I hadn't had any problems with nightmares before coming here, maybe it was the stress of being in a new place.

That doesn't exactly make any sense considering basically everything is new.

Maybe if I just ignored it, it would go away. Probably not, but one could hope right?

I closed my eyes, not a couple minutes later the door to the lab opened. I let my breath steady out, pretending to be asleep.

"Viper." Mikey's voice whispered as he softly shook me. "Viper up and at'em."

I opened my eyes slowly. I stared up at Mikey's baby blue eyes. I noticed his freckles on his light green skin and smiled softly. They seemed familiar.

"No!" The young blue eyed, freckled face girl cried as they dragged her away from me. Her blonde beautiful curls, now covered in dirt.

"Stop! Don't take her!" I screamed, pulling at the two burly men holding me back. "I'll kill you all if you so much as touch her!"

I winced trying to shake away the horrible flashback. Who or what, was that?

"Viper?" Mikey gave me a worried look. "You OK dude?"

"Oh...Um, Ya of course. Sorry I blanked out." I smiled reassuringly, sitting up.

"Here." Mikey handed me cup of green liquid.

"And what is this, might I ask?"

"Something Donnie cooked up. Sadly, no more pizza for you."

"Dear God. No more pizza." I shuddered remember how sick I had felt. I downed the cup of mysterious green liquid. It tasted like...Well nothing actually.

Mikey pulled a seat next to the table. The table being surprising low, made it easy to see his face.

"Ya know, I would love to have eyes like yours." Mikey stated.

"What do you mean."

"Are you serious?" Mikey asked with a laugh. "The're purple man."

I glanced down at the reflection in the glass I was holding. I really did have purple eyes.

Well then...

"Never knew till now." I said matter-of-factly.

Mikey stared wide eyed with his jaw dropped. "Tell me your joking."

"Nope."

"You are the weirdest person I have ever met."

"I'm going to pretend that was a compliment."

Mikey stood up. "Anyway, just wanted to come and make sure you were ok."

"Thanks." I smiled.

I layed back down as Mikey walked out of the room.

The look of the terrified girl was still seared into my memory. Who was she? Maybe I knew her. I seemed to care alot about her. Why was this happening? I growled in frustration.

"But Donnie, I can't just stay here." I complained. " It's not fair to you guys."

"Would you stop and think for a minute" Donnie exclaimed exasperated . "Viper. You have nowhere to go."

I looked down at my hands. "Fine. Point taken."

"OK now that we've go that out of the way. We have some friends coming over who want to meet you."

"Sounds fun."

"They should be here any-"

"Yo, don!" Mikey yelled from the other room. "Casey and April are here!"

I slipped my feet over the side of my make-shift bed.

"You shouldn't walk." Donnie said worried.

"I'll be fine." I reassured.

I took few steps. Deciding I was stable enough I walked next to Donnie out the lab door, towards the kitchen.

I froze in my tracks as I stared at the red head talking to Leo. Suddenly pain exploded in my head. It felt like someone thought it would be a good idea to set a grenade off in my head. Facts about her flooded my thoughts.

April O'Neil. Born November 28. Her abilities ranged from her telepathic powers to her ninjutsu skills. Her mother now deceased, leaving her with her father. More images flashed by, most of them her with the turtles.

I fell to the ground clutching my head. "Make it stop! Make it stop! Make it stop!"

My wish was soon granted and I looked up. April stared back at me. She had stopped it. I cringed away, unable imagine what she thought of me.

Donnie dropped down next to my side. "What happened?"

"Ask her." I gestured up at April.

"Let's go over this one more time." Donnie said. "So at the first glance of April you suddenly got this...rush of information on her?"

"Yes Donnie, for the ump-teenth time."

"Fascinating."

"Ya well, your not the one who had to go through it." I pointed out.

Donnie continued to spout things about running tests, completely and utterly ignoring me.

"Could I just go lay down, I really don't want to deal with this right now."

"Yes, of course."

He carried me back to my "bed" and left me to sleep. When I was sure he was long gone, I curled up on my side in a ball and cried myself to sleep.

"No!" I curled up in a ball in my wonderful accommodations. Which happened to me a cage. "No, no,no,no..."

I stood up and grabbed the bars. All i could feel was rage. "I'll kill you all! I swear I'll make you all suffer for killing her!"

She can't be dead, she can't be.

My sided heaved as I cried. I slid to my knees still clutching the bars. The one thing I cared for in the world was gone. I had nothing left.

I woke up crying. I quickly looked around, I was still in Donnie's lab.

What was wrong with me? What was going on? Who was this girl. Was she even real? Was it just a dream?

I laid staring up at the ceiling. I wasn't going back to sleep anytime soon.
