I was a mess. My face was red and puffy from the last twenty minutes of crying. Mikey had come and knocked on the door pleading with me to let him in. He evently left saying he would be back. I was curled up in a ball in the bath tub, too afraid to get up check my reflection. Someone's eye didn't just turn black. That wasn't normal, then again, I was far from normal.

"Leo, so she could fight." Mikey reasoned. "That proves nothing."
"Would you just stop!" Leo yelled angry. "You saw how she moved, I know what I saw Mikey! It's her!"
Mikey clenched his fists.
He stood in the rain. His nunchucks tight in hand. He attacked at the masked girl. She dodged with precision. To his left and his right laid his passed out brothers. He would make her pay for what she did.
He ran at her. She brought her twin blades up, ready for the attack. They exchanged blows, in the end Mikey ended up the ground. Her blades edged towards his throat. She hesitated.
"Just do it." He growled. "I know you're going to finish them off once you're done with me." Mikey gestured to his brothers on the ground. "I'd rather not be here for that."
She didn't respond. Her blades backed away a inch, but not enough for Mikey to dare make a move.
She looked away, tightening her grip on the hilt of her weapons. She dropped them to the ground, backing away. She held her hand out to Mikey. Mikey laid frozen on the ground, wide eyed. What was she doing? He grabbed her hand against his better judgement. She pulled him up, quickly letting go once he was on he own two feet. She picked her weapons back up. Mikey backed up. His nunchucks were behind her, so that option was out of the question. Maybe he could-
She dropped to the ground, kneeling before the confused turtle. She held up her blades to him, bowing her head.
"I don't understand..."
She looked up. He couldn't see her face or her hair for that matter thanks to the hood and mask she wore. She held the swords closer to him. Take them, she seemed to say.
Mikey hesitantly took them. She bowed her head again. What was she doing? What did she want him to do. Suddenly he understood. She wanted him to kill her.
"Leave, don't ever go after my family again."
She looked up quickly, her hood falling down slightly. He held her swords out to her. At first it looked like she would take them, but then she shoved the against Mikey's chest in a way of showing she wanted him to keep them.
She turned and ran off. Her feet splashing in the puddles.
Mikey would never forget what she did. Maybe why he was so nice to Viper wasn't just because she was just some girl that had just shown up not even a month after the mysterious attack, but because somewhere inside he thought it was her.
"What ever Leo." Mikey turned and walked out of Donnie's Lab.
"Mikey, get back here!" Leo yelled after him. He looked at his brothers for help.
"Your on your own Fearless." Raph said with a sigh.
Donnie didn't respond pretending to work on something.
Leo proceeded to face the nearest wall and do the most sensible thing possible. He repeatedly hit his head on the wall in frustration.
Viper's Point of view
I sat up, wiping the tears away. No more. I wouldn't cry anymore. I wouldn't be a burden to them. No matter what it took.
I snuck back into the room I woke up in not long ago. I found a backpack in the clothes April had given me. Why she gave it to me, I have no idea. I packed several pares of clothes, deciding to add the music player and headphones last second. I changed into a dark hoodie and jeans. I took a deep breath and went backto the bathroom, thankfully not being seen.
I took a breath and looked in the mirror. Two purple eyes stared back. How long they would stay like that, I didn't know.
I quickly grabbed my bag and headed to the exit of the lair. I stopped, only feet away from the door. I wrote a quick note and dropped it directly infront of the exit. I left, not looking back.
I'm sorry Mikey...
I wandered around the sewers. Heading to the surface might not be the best thing to do in this situation. ? On the other had, the boys might come after me, well Mikey at least. After what happened they were probably happy I was gone. What did leo mean? Did he know who I was? Maybe I had seen him before.
I shook my head, I wouldn't think about them. It wouldn't do me any good. It was final. I would head to the surface.

Mikey made his way back to the bathroom. Hopefully Viper would open the door. He understood the girl needed her space, but he needed to make sure she was ok. He could try to explain why Lep was so upset. That he never told him about what the mysterious stranger did. How she was willing to die so suddenly. He had simply told his brothers that he was knocked out, when he came around she was gone.
Mikey rounded the corner. The door to the bathroom was wide open. He looked in. Viper was no where to be seen. He went farther down the hall. She probably went back to her room. Well, what the boys decided would be her room. They hadn't exactly told her it would be her new room. The fight with Leo came up. Handling that problem seemed more important at the time.
Mikey looked around the abandoned bedroom. She wasn't here either.
"Viper!" Mikey yelled out getting worried. He checked the living room, the kitchen, the dojo, any where he thought she could have been. Viper was gone
"Dudes! Viper's gone!" Mikey yelled feeling panic swelling in his chest.
"What are you talking about?" Raph asked walking into the living room. "Vipers gone? Where could she have gone?"
"I don't know! If I did, don't you think I would go after her?!" Mikey asked getting mad. How could she run off? She had no where to go.
"I'm going out to look." Mikey walked past Raph. "Tell Donnie And Leo what happened. Not that Leo would care..." Mikey gave a cold chuckle. "He'll be glad to hear she's gone."
Raph froze, hearing a tone he had never heard his baby brother use before. It sounded cold and dark. His normal carefree tone was gone, replaced with a serious demeanor.
Raph watched Mikey walk away, unable to call after him.
Mikey walked to the exit of the lair. A small sheet of paper laid infront of the door. He picked it up, reading the quickly jotted down writing.
Dear Mikey,
Don't come after me. It's better this way. I don't know what's wrong with me, and I'm sorry for what ever I did to upset Leo. I'm going to find out who the girl I keep seeing is. I need to know. I know that this might note might hurt you, but the farther I am from you, the better. I'll miss you.
Viper
P.S. tell Donnie my arm is fully healed.
It's better this way? What was she thinking?! Mikey decided he would personally slap some sense into her after he brought her home safe.
Hey guys! Love the fact that no one comments on the absence of Splinter, don't worry though. I'll be adding why he's missing soon. Thoughts on Viper running away? Do you think she's our mysterious masked figure? Will I ever mary Donnie? I mean...Ehem...Please review my lovelies!
Once again, I do not own TMNT. I own Viper and the idea behind her.
Feel free to PM if you have any questions, I promise I don't bite!
