I sat with my back to a cold brick wall. The rain beat down on me hard, giving the me closest I'd gotten to a shower since I left. The nightmares had stopped, which confused me to hell and back. What did being with the guys have to do with it. Not to mention, I hadn't gotten any closer to finding out about my sister and what happened to her.
I closed my eyes, facing my face to the sky. I took a deep breath as the rain rolled off my face.
Well I won't get any where sitting. Might as well keep wandering, what else can I do?
I stood up and stretched, my joints popping. I decided to keep to the back ally ways. I was a bit more confident in my self now. After my fight with Leo I knew that I could at least defend myself. Besides, I couldn't afford a run in with the boys in blue. If they brought me in, my plans would go down the drain. I had thought about it though. Being put into a foster care system and forgetting all of this. It was better than living on the streets, but I knew some where in me I couldn't just forget my nightmares, my strange healing ability, the guys, and most of all Mikey.
God I missed him.
I made a turn to the right, heading farther into the dark, desolate passageway. I heard a loud thud from not far away. I frowned and hurried towards it. There where several more. I slowed down. Just one more turn. I turned left and froze, my face going pale.
"I'm telling you, he hasn't come back." Donnie said to Raph.
"How much time until the sun comes up?"
"One hour, thirty-two minutes."
"Have you talked to Leo about it?"
"He locked himself in his room again."
"Go pick the lock."
"Are you serious? I can't-"
"I guess I'll 'unlock' his door then."
"Wait-"
Raph made his way to Leo's room, Donnie barely having time to walk in as Raph busted down Leo's door. He walked in the blue clad turtle's room.
"What the hell Raph!?" Leo yelled. "Go a-"
"Mikey's missing you idiot. Stop sulking and get up. We need to go find him."
"Did he leave at his usual time?" Leo asked, refusing to look at his brothers.
"He left early this time actually." Donnie said from the door way. "Forty-three minutes early this time."
"He's stayed out later than this before, Raph why are you worrying?"
Raph growled and shoved his older brother in the wall behind him. He slammed his fist into the wall next to Leo's head.
"When did you stop caring!" Raph yelled. Leo's eyes went wide before his gaze hardened. "I thought we were a team! What happened to that!" Raph removed his hand and backed up. "You can either come with us to make sure our brother, your brother, is OK, Or you can stay here and mope by yourself."
Raph left the room with Donnie close behind.
They left without Leo, searching the streets and alleys below once they made it to the surface. They looked for half a hour, nothing. The rain was picking up as well, they needed to find Mikey soon.
Raph shell phone began to ring, 'space geek' was on the caller ID.
"What do you want Leo?" Raph asked with a growl.
"I've got Mikey, he's knocked out. Get over here as quick as you can, he's going into hypothermia. I don't know how long we have. I'm sending you my location."
"On our way."
"Raph?" Donnie asked. "What's going on."
"Leo's got Mikey, we need to hurry."
They made their way to Mikey and Leo as fast as they could, Raph explaining along the way to Donnie what their leader had told him.
"Oh shell." Raph walked up to his passed out brother. "Leo let me carry-"
"No, I got him." Leo carefully picked up his youngest brother.
"We need to get him back to the lair." Donnie said with a worried look. "I'm not sure how much time we have."
Leo and Raph nodded in agreement.
They made it back with minutes to spare. After checking Mikey out, Donnie confirmed that he had hypothermia. They took care of it, as well as the bruises and large bump on his head.
"Splinter is going to kill us when he gets back." Donnie said with a sigh.
"If he comes back." Leo said quietly.
"Don't worry, I'm sure something just came up."
"He should have been back two weeks ago."
They stood in silence in Donnie's lab. With Splinter gone, the teenage brothers were missing the wise guiding words of their father. Especially in a time like this.
With a sigh Leo walked up to his passed of brother. Mikey's chest rose up and down in a soft sleep. Looked so peaceful.
Leo then decided then and there, he would make who hurt him regret it. He didn't care if he had to break every bone in their body, they wouldn't touch his baby brother again.
The words were caught in my chest as I stared at the person infront of me. Only small squeaks left my mouth.
"Viper?!"
I gave a small, nervous laughs. "Hey Casey..." I swallowed hard.
Well then.
Hey guys! SO sorry it took so long to update. I've been going through depression and some other things. I'm good now though, and I've already started the next chapter for you guys. Tell me, what do you think, is going to happen? What do YOU want to happen.
Response to MegMoo: Thanks for the review! I did have that as a idea at first, but thought bring the sister back would be more fun to write and for you guys to read.
I'm a disclaimer of TMNT but I own Viper and the idea behind her. If you want to use anything about her or the character her self please P.M. me first and get my consent.
Thank-you!
