Chapter 2: My leaving

Gray's P.O.V

"We should go catch up with Wendy and Juvia. Let's go," I stated.

"Alright," Levy said with a sad look on her face.

"Hey, bookworm, Lucy's okay. She's a strong cheerleader, gihi," Gajeel said with a grin.

"Yeah. Arigatou Gajeel," Levy agreed, this time with a slight smile.

Wendy's P.O.V

"Hey look Juvia-san! It's Gray-san and the others!"

"Wahhh Gray-sama!" Juvia said in a dreamy voice. "We should wait for them so we can all go into love rival's house together," she added still with her dreamy voice.

"Haha, yeah good idea." Wendy agreed, sweat dropping.

Lucy's P.O.V

I need all of my stuff. I pack my clothes neatly into my luggage but I have to use 5 luggages to fit all of my clothes.

"Gate of the Maiden, I open thee! Virgo!" I call out.

"At your service hime-sama," Virgo praised, bowing.

"Virgo, is there anyway for me to keep all my stuff without bringing all of these luggages?"

"Yes, hime-sama. I can take all your furniture with me to the spirit world and keep it stored there," Virgo says while getting a bag out of thin air. "This is a bag for you hime-sama. You can keep anything in here without it being heavy. It's an infinity bag. The bag teleports your items to the celestial world. If you picture your item that you put in the bag in your head it will appear and you may get it."

"Arigatou, Virgo! Let's get to this before everyone else comes."

"Hai, Hime." she bowed once again.

~10 minutes later~

"Haa, we're done. That's amazing. Arigatou, Virgo. You may go now."

"Arigatou, hime-sama."

And she left.

*SLAM*

That was the door.

"Lucy!"

"Lu-chan!"

"Lucy-san!"

"Luce!"

"Cheerleader!"

"Love rival!"

"Wucy!"

Those voices. It's them.

"Minna! I'm in my room!"

"Lu-chan! I'm so glad you're okay!" Levy said while hugging me tightly.

"We were all worried!"

"Sorry to worry you guys," I gave them a smile and then they all noticed; I was happy and there was nothing in my house.

"L-lu-chan, what happened to all of your stuff?" Levy asked quietly.

This is the hardest part of my plan. Telling them about my leaving. I'm crying in the inside; soon on the outside too.

"Minna... I've made a decision," I said firmly. "I-I need to leave Fairy Tail." I closed my eyes, a single tear falling from my right eye. I expected them to get mad but instead I get warm hugs from everyone.

It feels like I'm at home.

"We understand," Mira-san said.

"We know that you have had a hard time and we kinda expected this... I would probably do the same if I were you too. I'll miss reading your books though," Levy said trying to sound brave but there were tears rushing down her face.

"Just promise to visit us, okay?" Gray sighed while kissing me on the forehead.

"Yeah, I still need you to dance while I sing cheerleader. Gihi," Gajeel said grinning and patted my head.

"I-I feel like I'm l-losing an older s-sister," Wendy gasped with tears also running down her eyes. "but we all need to move on eventually," Wendy cries bravely.

"You're the best love rival Juvia's ever had," Juvia said, hugging me.

"I'll miss our adventures together and you giving me fish," this time it was Happy and his tears were coming out like a waterfall.

"I'll miss making smoothies for you, but we still got tonight. We should party our hardest and have the best time ever. Let's make the best memory of our lives!" Mira-san said with a huge smile.

"Let's do this!" I exclaimed, throwing one hand into the air.

My last party as a member of Fairy Tail.

~The next day~

Lucy's P.O.V

"Urggh, I don't feel so good. What happened last night?" I look at the floor and saw Levy-chan and Gajeel hugging each other while Gray was knocked out with Juvia 'leching' over him.

"Hehehe, I should take a picture of this..."

After I took the picture I went to the bathroom to prep myself for my talk with Master.

After getting situated, I grabbed my infinity bag and left a note for everyone. I left early, so that I can talk to Master when nobody was there.

~At Fairy Tail~

When I arrived I went in front of Master's door, but before that, I looked around the whole guild remembering all the fun things that I had done with the guild I used to trust.

Finally, I turn around and knock on the door.

"Who is it? So early in the morning?" said Master with a wondering voice.

"It's me, Lucy. I need to talk to you."

"Lucy? Okay, come in," said Master.

"What did you want to talk about Lucy?"

"I'm sorry... I'M SORRY... I want to quit the guild. I just can't take it anymore. This guild was my home, my family, but... my family has excluded me, talked behind my back, left me alone when I needed comfort the most. I love this guild so very much, but I just can't handle it anymore." I collapse onto my knees, holding my hands to my face, which was filled with tears.

I tell him the story about how Natsu was my first love and how they just replaced me.

"I hope you understand, please remove my Fairy Tail mark!" saying that last sentence hurt me, and tears started pouring out even more.

"I understand, I probably would have left as well if I was treated like that by my most precious family. I never thought all of this nonsense happened when I was off on a meeting." I see tears coming down Master's face.

My Fairy Tail mark has disappeared.

"Can I ask one more favor... do you mind if you don't tell anyone that I have left...you can get mad or whatever you want, I want to know how long it takes them to notice that I'm gone. Only Mirajane, Gray, Levy, Wendy, Happy, Gajeel and Juvia knows that I'm gone."

"Alright. I don't mind. However, I'm gonna give them (Fairy Tail) the worst punishment of them all! How dare they do that to family! I thought of you as my precious daughter. I will trust your decision," Master said with anger.

"Thank you... I always thought of you like a father to me! I LOVE YOU! I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!" Those were my last words as I walk out of the guild trying to be brave.

~Later on that day~

"I should go to the train station to ask some people where good training areas are."

~Back with Levy and co.~

Levy's P.O.V

'HOLY CRAP! Why am I so close to Gajeel! My faceis a centimeter away from his! I bet my face is the same color as Erza's hair now.'

I try to get up as quietly as I can, and when I do, I notice a note on Lucy's desk. I wake up everyone so we can read it.

When they wake up (took me 10 min just to wake Gajeel up) I read the note aloud…

Dear Minna,

I love you guys so much! You guys always stayed by my side but I guess it's time to say goodbye. I am going to go train and maybe join another guild, but don't worry! I'll come and visit! And do you mind not telling Team Natsu or Fairy Tail that I left I want to know how long it takes for them to realize. But you can still get mad at them, like beat them up so that they are confused ;P. Again thank you for all your support! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

P.S: Levy-chan I took a picture of you and Gajeel sleeping together hehehe... Just confess to each other already!

P.S.S: Tell the landlady that I'm leaving.

"Lucy!" my face is completely red, and so is Gajeel's which causes everyone to start laughing.

However, when it finally sets in what's happening, we all start crying again.

"I can't believe she's gone!" I exclaim while everyone hugs me.

"Don't worry; she will always be in our hearts," Mirajane assured me. I smiled.

She will always be a dear friend.
