"So which part of the house should we christen first?" Maura turned her inquisitive gaze towards Jane, swallowing a bite of Jane's home-made pasta. They had gotten settled in and Jane kept her word and cooked them both dinner. Jane smirked as she took a sip form her beer, wiggling her eyebrows to get her point across.
Maura nearly spit out her food. "Jane!" The Detective laughed heartedly. "It's not like we haven't had sex here before." Jane shrugged her shoulders, taking a bite of her own plate.
"So, we've had the couch, the bathroom, the bedroom and the hallway." Maura blushed at the memory. They had been in such a hurry to get each other naked that they ended up in a heap in the hallway and had decided to just stay there. "What's next? Your desk? The kitchen counter?" Maura glared at the woman beside her.
"I'm not having sex on any of those surfaces." She took a delicate sip of her wine, not quite sure what Jane would say next.
"Well, then you pick. Come on Maur. It's different now that we're living together. We can treat it like the first time!" Maura raised her eyebrows, completely missing the point of all of this.
"It will hardly be our first time. At least you know how to properly please me now." Maura smirked as she saw Jane's eyes widen, her mouth dropping open.
"Oh you did not just say that. I remember that you were quite pleased when I had my hand down your pants on this exact couch." Maura nodded, swallowing the bite she had just taken.
"Well yes, but I remember that when we were in the bedroom you suddenly turned really shy and you needed my guidance." Jane snorted, placing her empty plate on the coffee table and grabbing her beer.
"That's why you pushed my head down immediately? That's not guidance Maura, that's just saying you wanted me to go down on you without any words. Nope, got no guidance there. Not that I needed any if the sounds you were making were anything to go off." Taking a sip of her beer, she completely missed Maura's stunned look.
"Very well. Then how about you remind me of those sounds that I was making?" Maura smirked at Jane as she unbuttoned her pants and slid them with her panties down her hips and toned legs. Giving Jane an expected look, she got herself comfortable, sliding her legs apart.
Jane's eyes immediately zoomed in on Maura's already wet sex and she swallowed down the rest of her beer. Raising one eyebrow as she hovered over her girlfriend, Jane leaned down to whisper in her ear.
"You sure you want to do it here? Ma might come bursting in when she hears you." Maura matched Jane's look.
"I think she'll know what we're doing Jane." The Detective's eyes darkened with arousal and she pressed her lips to Maura's.
The two kissed hungrily, their tongues dancing around each other. Going down on Maura was definitely one of her favorite things, but kissing the other woman? God, there was just something so sensual and sexy about it. And it was something she was able to do any time she wanted to. Letting her lips part with Maura's, she trailed hot open mouthed kisses down the honey blonde's neck.
Growling low in her throat, Jane made quick work of discarding the rest of Maura's clothes. She smiled at the sight of the honey blonde's breasts. Letting her tongue swirl around Maura's right nipple, she felt the other woman arch her back, trying to get more contact. Reaching up with her left hand, Jane squeezed the other breast. Maura moaned low in her throat, not believing how Jane could make her feel.
It was then Maura's phone started ringing. Jane growled, before moving back up to Maura's neck.
"Ignore it." Her lips attached to her flesh just under the Doctor's ear. Maura sighed deeply, reaching out with her hand.
"I can't. It's my mom. I have to take this Jane." She pushed the Detective off, answering the phone in the same fluid movement.
Jane pouted at the other woman. First she teases her and then she expects her to back off like that? No way, two can play that game. Just as Maura answered the phone, Jane smiled sweetly at her girlfriend.
"Don't be too obvious." Maura frowned as the sound of her mother's voice filled her ears.
"Hello Maura. How are things with you and Jane?" Maura bit her lip. She almost wanted to say: "Good mom, she was just about to go down on me when you called." But instead, she said something else.
"They're going great mom, she's really sweeeet." Maura hadn't been paying enough attention to Jane to notice the woman had her head between her legs. She reached out, trying to pull Jane away, but all the Detective did was grab her hand and give her a look. Maura swallowed. Oh boy.
"Is everything all right?" Constance's voice sounded worried and Maura hastened to explain.
"Oh, yes everything is fine. More than fine really. So why are you calling?" Maura tried to even her breathing, but she was having a lot of trouble. Especially when Jane's tongue was doing that.
"I think I'm interrupting something so I'll just keep it short. Your father and I will be in Boston for a few days next week. I was hoping that we could stay with you? If not, we can always book a hotel, but I was hoping to spend some time with my daughter."
"Uhuh, that sounds great mom. There's plenty of room." Maura wasn't really listening, she was more focused on what Jane was doing. She had to finish this phone call fast. Or her mother would know exactly what was going on.
"Great, then it's settled. I will let you know when we will be in Boston. It will be great to see you again sweetie." Maura bit her lips, fighting back a moan.
"Yeah, you too mom. I have to go. I will talk to you soon." She was able to hear her mom's laugh as she ended the call and she wasted no time in letting out an almost anamalistic growl.
"God Jane, right there!" Letting another moan rip through her body, Maura felt herself get closer and closer and she grabbed the back of the couch to brace herself. One last stroke of Jane's tongue brought her over the edge and she let out a scream.
Breathing as if she had just run the marathon, Maura let her eyes flutter closed. She felt Jane move up her body, tucking her head in the Doctor's shoulder. It was silent for a few minutes, before Jane's voice broke it.
"You okay?" Maura nodded, a smile slowly spreading on her face.
"That was amazing Jane. I've never experienced something so… exciting and erotic in my life." Jane smiled, pressing a kiss to Maura's neck.
"Really?" The honey blonde nodded, craning her head to look at the woman besides her. Jane was looking back at her with a look of complete love.
"Really." Turning her body so she was completely facing the Detective, Maura reached out her hand to trace the side of Jane's face, down her cheekbones, up to her nose and back over her lips.
Jane shivered at the touch, letting her eyes close to enjoy the feel of Maura's fingertips.
"So what did your mom want?" She opened her eyes in time to see Maura shrug her shoulders.
"I'm not sure. I didn't really hear what she was saying. Someone was distracting me." Jane chuckled, snuggling deeper into Maura.
"Well, someone was teasing me, telling me that I needed guidance. So of course I had to prove that I'm more than capable of doing this by myself." Maura hummed, narrowing her eyes at her girlfriend.
"Then maybe I should repay the favor?"
"I'm not saying no to that." Maura giggled as she stood up. Jane let her eyes roam over the honey blonde's naked body. How can one person be so beautiful? Letting her eyes lock with Maura's, she smirked.
Jumping up from the couch, Jane tried to grab Maura. The Doctor squealed before jumping out of arms reach. Mirth showed in her eyes and Jane got that the honey blonde was playing a game. Smirking, she started inching towards her girlfriend.
"Maura?" The honey blonde hummed, her eyes trained on Jane's form. "Be careful not to trip over Bass. He's right behind you." Maura blinked a few times. She knew that Jane was lying, trying to get her distracted, but there was still a part of her that was afraid she was right. She couldn't hurt Bass.
Glancing really quickly behind her, she found the space behind her completely empty. Her head snapped back towards Jane and she saw the Detective lunge herself at her. Screaming, she tried to run away, but firm arms wrapped themselves around her waist and pulled her flush against a warm body.
"Got you." Maura shivered when Jane's breath washed over her ear. Letting herself slump in the Detective's grip, she turned to look at her.
"Let's christen the bathtub." Jane grinned at the woman she loved, lifting her up and carrying a giggling Maura towards the bedroom.
Jane awoke the next morning, expecting to feel Maura pressed against her. She didn't feel a warm body against her own however and she opened her eyes to look next to her. What she saw made her smile. Maura was sat against the headboard, laptop on her lap, glasses on her nose and a frown adorning her features. She smiled lazily and stretched, smacking her lips together a few times.
"Morning." Maura made a noise that sounded like something in between a hum and a groan. Jane raised her eyebrows and noticing she wasn't getting any attention snuggled into Maura's side, pressing kisses on the side of Maura's face she could reach.
"Maura!" Maura only swatted at her girlfriend, trying to get her to stop distracting her. Jane huffed, giving up. But that didn't mean she went away though. Snuggling closer to Maura, she rested her head on her shoulder, watching what Maura was doing.
"Why are you reading a mail of your mom so early?" Maura sighed, taking of her glasses to pinch the bridge of the nose.
"Because when she called yesterday she called to let me know she was coming to Boston with father. And she asked if she could stay with me. And I told her yes." Jane looked up at her girlfriend.
"Why do you sound as if you didn't know any of this?" Maura glared down at Jane, shutting her laptop angrily.
"Because you were too busy distracting me with your tongue! I heard her, but I didn't understand her." When Jane raised her eyebrows in amusement, Maura got up.
"You know what, never mind. I'm going to take a shower." Jane watched her go, wondering what she had done wrong this time. When she heard the door close, she was up, moving towards the bathroom.
Trying to open it, she found that it was locked. Knocking on the door she called out for Maura. But the honey blonde didn't budge. Instead, Jane heard the water turn on. Sighing she frowned at the closed door. Taking a seat on the bed, she grabbed Maura's laptop to read the e-mail herself. It was basically just information about when they would get here and when they would leave again. There wasn't anything in it that would make Maura angry. Especially not at her. Deciding to wait until the honey blonde was done in the bathroom, she sat facing the door.
That's how Maura found her when she walked back into the room in her underwear. A towel was wrapped around her head for her hair. She paid no attention to Jane as she headed to the closet to grab her outfit for the day. Jane sighed, following her girlfriend around the room.
"Maura?" No answer. "Maura?" Again, nothing. "Maura!"
"What!" Jane frowned at the anger that was laced with the words. She opened her mouth to answer, but she wasn't sure what to say. At Maura's inquisitive look she tried again.
"What's going on? Why are so angry?" The honey blonde sighed, pulling on a pair of jeans.
"You not knowing why says enough Jane." The Detective was thoroughly confused by now. How was it her fault that Maura couldn't…? Oh. Something clicked in her head and she remembered what she was doing while Maura was on the phone.
Standing up, she walked over to Maura who had thrown the towel on a nearby chair and was pulling a shirt over her head. Sighing, she waited patiently for the woman to finish before grabbing her hands, stilling any further movement. Maura looked annoyed, but made no move to pull away. That gave Jane the confidence to continue.
"What is this really about? Come on Maura, I know that this isn't about yesterday. Tell me what this is about." Maura sighed, looking down at her bare feet.
"They're going to be here in three days Jane." The Detective waited for her to continue. When she didn't she prodded. "So? That's more than enough time to get ready. I mean, all we have to do is get the spare room dust free. Unless you want them to stay with my mother for those days?" She smiled in victory when a smile appeared on Maura's face.
"No. I don't think they'll survive that." Jane rolled her eyes at the twinkle in Maura's eyes as she said that. A second later the honey blonde turned serious again. "But it's not that Jane. If I would've been in my right mind at the moment then I could've… I don't know, gotten more information!" Jane squeezed her hands.
"Okay, hang on. Breathe. Just breathe baby." Satisfied when Maura breathed in deeply – probably something she uses in yoga – Jane continued. "It's going to be fine. We'll check the time they'll land and we'll pick them up from the airport. We'll make sure that the guest room is in order and I'll even add a mint on their pillows if they're into that. Then I'll ask Ma to act civil and make us something to eat when we get back. We'll let them get settled in afterwards and we'll see what else we can do that day. Okay?" Maura nodded, starting to calm down. Until she remembered something else.
"But what about work? Cavanaugh's not going to give you the day off Jane, not after you're finally back. He needs his best Detective." Jane smiled at her girlfriend, leaning in to place a kiss on Maura's forehead.
"I can let Frost and Korsak take over for a few hours. Long enough to pick your parents up from the airport. Besides, I think you can use a few hours alone with your parents. Catch up and everything you know?" Tears appeared in Maura's eyes and she stepped forward to embrace Jane.
"Thank you. I'm sorry for being mad at you. It's not your fault." Jane shook her head, pressing a kiss in Maura's hair.
"It's okay. I'll talk to Cavanaugh on Monday alright? We can spend today getting everything ready for your parents." Maura smiled appreciatively, letting Jane know just how happy she was by kissing her girlfriend slowly, sensually.
Jane hummed when they parted, a smile on her face. "I'm going to take a shower. You make a plan of everything we need to do." Maura watched Jane enter the bathroom, momentarily humoring the idea of joining her. Deciding she had enough to do, she finished her hair, before indeed making a plan of what they needed to do.
