A/N: Hey guys! We're already at chapter 24! Two more after this one and the story is done. So, this chapter contains the handcuff scene you wanted to read. Hope you like it, it's not something I write a lot and I hope I did it justice. So, enjoy! And the next one will be up on Monday.

Several days had passed since Jane and Maura had finally made up – for real this time – and the Detective found herself eating dinner alone. Maura had told her that she had to finish her autopsy and the paperwork that came with it before tomorrow. Even though she had told her girlfriend not to wait up for her, that was exactly what Jane was going to do. Rinsing off her plate, she turned to the fridge to grab some strawberries for Bass.

She was glad to see the creature was starting to take a liking to her. Even though she still kept her distance if she could, she didn't feel so… naked in front of him anymore. Bass had this look in his eyes that always made her cringe. It was like he was looking straight through her, right into her soul. Of course Maura had laughed when she had told her and told Jane that she just needed to warm up to Bass. But no matter how 'warm' she felt, she still felt weirded out.

Bending down, she offered the treat to the turtle. Tortoise. Jane scowled. Now she was hearing Maura's voice in her head. Bass hesitantly took the offered strawberry, turning to go back to his favorite spot – near the fireplace. Jane let her eyes follow him for a moment, before turning her eyes on her own pet. Jo Friday was wagging her tail. Jane smiled.

"You wanna play?" A bark and they were off. Jane spend over an hour chasing the dog, cooing at her, wrestling with her, until she eventually flopped down on the couch and Jo found her spot on her stomach, her eyes locking with Jane's. The Detective smiled, her hand coming to rest on a furry one.

"You're young, I'm old. You're a dog, I'm a human. See the differences? Good. Now go and let me catch my breath." Jo cocked her head, before lying her head down, letting out a deep breath.

"Good girl." Grabbing the remote, she figured she could bide her time by watching some TV. Or at least snooze if nothing was on.

She had just found a recap of the last Red Sox game – the one she missed – when there was a knock on the door. Cursing under her breath, she shooed Jo off her lap and stood up. The person that was on the other side of that door better have a damn good reason to disturb her. Once she opened the door, her anger only grew.

"What the fuck are you doing here? Wasn't I clear enough last time?" Garrett stood on the other side of the door, looking as unimpressed as he did last time. But she did see a certain change in him. Apprehension. Anger. Annoyance. It was all written on his face.

"You were clear, don't worry. I just came to drop this off. Tell Maura to sign it. Everything else is handled." Thrusting a white envelope in Jane's hands he turned on his heel and stalked off. Jane was momentarily stunned, wondering what just happened.

Closing the door, she looked down at the envelope. Tell Maura to sign it. She knew she should wait for her girlfriend to come home, but she just couldn't help her curiosity. And if this was what she thought it was… well, then it was only good news. Right?

Tearing it open, she pulled divorce papers out of the envelope. Her heart started to pick up in speed as nerves came over her. Quickly skipping to the page where she hoped to find Garrett's signature, Jane felt her breath catch in her throat. There it was. His name, signature, everything. He signed the damn papers. Now all Maura needed to do was sign under her name and she was finally free of the damn bastard.

For a few minutes Jane just stood there, basking in happiness. Jo Friday's bark made her look down at her pet and she blinked a few times. The dog cocked her head to the side, wondering why her owner was acting like a statue. And before the poor dog knew what was happening, Jane had her wrapped in her arms and was dancing through the house with her. Jo whimpered in fear, trying to get as close to Jane as possible. All the while, Jane kept chanting 'He's gone' over and over, her smile lighting up the whole room.

Jo scampered off the moment she was put down and kept a wary eye on the Detective. Jane in the meantime, had started to think about completely different things. They needed to celebrate this. And she knew just the way how to. Grabbing two wine glasses, she set them down on the coffee table, Maura's favorite wine next to it. Glancing around the room, Jane frowned. This was definitely not romantic. Sighing, she ran a hand through her hair.

"Where did Maura keep those damn candles again?" After rummaging through a few cabinets, she was finally successful and started placing candles all around the room.

After she had lit them all and turned the lights off, she moved on to the music next. She needed to find something romantic, something that would set the mood.

"Aha! Perfect." Grinning, she put the CD in the player. Now all that was left was to wait for Maura to come home, press play and tell her the news. Eyes widening, she quickly moved to the drawer where she kept her gun and badge. And spare handcuffs. Grinning down at the metal rings, she took a deep breath.

"Wow, okay. I'm really doing this. Relax Rizzoli, this isn't a big deal at all. You're just… either being restrained tonight or doing the restraining." Clearing her throat, the Detective tried to push her nerves down. It wasn't that she wasn't ready. It was just the fact that they were taking a completely different step in their relationship and it was slightly scaring her. But it also thrilled her. Shaking her head to end her thoughts, she walked back over the couch.

Should she put the cuffs on the table? Or should she keep them hidden somewhere? Bringing her hand up to bite her nails she pondered the question. She eventually looked down at the cuffs in her hand and decided to keep it on her. Kind of made it all a bit more of a surprise. Which is what she was going for with this. Just as she sat down, satisfied with how everything was placed and the vibe she set, she noticed headlights and heard Maura's car pull into the driveway.

Taking a deep breath, she wiped her sweaty palms on her pants and nodded to no one in particular. She could do this. And all that mattered at the end of the day was that Maura was happy. And that she was finally rid of Garrett.

She heard the front door unlock and saw Maura's silhouette enter their home. She knew that Maura hadn't noticed her yet and watched as the honey blonde tried to be very quiet. Smiling, she held back a chuckle at the adorableness of it all. When Maura stepped into the living room, she noticed Jane sitting on the couch, candles lit around the room.

"Oh shit." Jane fiddled with the remote, quickly pressing play. Music began to play and the Detective stood to greet her girlfriend who had started to make her way further into the room.

"Jane." There was a clear hint of awe in her voice and adoration and the honey blonde brought a hand up to her mouth. Tears were already shining in her eyes as she looked at Jane.

"Hey, don't cry. Not yet." Maura shook her head, a laugh passing past her lips.

"Sorry. What's going on? Are we celebrating something?" Jane nodded, a smile plastered on her face. She reached down to grab the envelope Garrett had left and handed it over. After Maura just stared at it for a moment, she sighed, motioning for her to open it.

The honey blonde raised her eyebrows in surprise, but did as she was told. Her eyes widened in shock as she realized what she was holding and she looked up at Jane.

"Just, look at the last page." Maura frowned, but turned the pages one by one. When she reached the last page, she gasped and brought her hand up to her mouth. Was this what she thought it was?

"He signed it. He came by about an hour ago and just threw this at me." Jane moved closer to her girlfriend, her hands coming to rest on the honey blonde's hips. "You're finally rid of him Maura. You can let all of this behind you and never look back." Tears were streaming down Maura's face and she let out something in between a sob and a laugh.

"I can't believe this. Did you…?" Jane shook her head.

"No, I wasn't able to do anything after Frost told me that he was clean as a whistle. Still can't believe it, but that doesn't matter anymore. So, to answer your question, yes, we are celebrating something." The Detective stepped close and embraced the other woman. Maura dropped the papers on the table to grab a better hold of Jane, holding the other woman close.

Jane pulled away first, beaming down at Maura. She leaned in to press a kiss to the honey blonde's lips. They sighed at the contact, their bodies still pressed together. This time it was Maura who pulled away.

"Let's make use of the wine shall we?" Jane chuckled and poured them both a glass.

They sat down on the couch, side by side.

"I still can't believe that he actually signed the papers. I wonder what made him change his mind." Jane shrugged, taking a rather generous sip of her wine. Maura noticed, but didn't say anything.

"I really don't care. He's the last person I want to think about right now. All I care about is that he signed those damn papers and is finally going to be out of your life. Forever." The Doctor nodded in agreement and watched as Jane polished of her wine.

"Why are you drinking so quickly?" Jane turned her eyes on Maura as she was about to pour herself another glass. Clearing her throat, she filled her glass and sat back.

"I just like the wine." Again, Maura noticed that something was up, but brushed it off. If Jane wanted to tell her something, she would. On her own terms.

"So how was work? Did you finish everything you needed to?" Even though Jane asked and feigned interest, she was buying some time to get her nerves under control.

"Yes, which also means that I don't have to go in early tomorrow." Maura grinned seductively letting her hand travel up and down Jane's stomach. The Detective grinned right back.

"Oh really?" Maura hummed, leaning in to trail kisses down Jane's neck.

"Really." The Detective closed her eyes, sighing as she felt a wave of pleasure rush over her. She enjoyed the feeling of Maura's hands and lips on her for a moment, before deciding that they should take this to the bedroom. Opening her eyes and sitting up, she grabbed both their wine glasses and sat them down on the table.

"Let's take this somewhere else." Maura nodded at Jane's seductive whisper and let her girlfriend guide her to their bedroom.

Once they entered, Jane closed the door behind them. Maura noticed the nervous look in her eyes and moved forward to stand in front of the other woman. Cupping her cheek, she locked eyes with Jane.

"Are you okay? You seem nervous. Is there something I need to know?" Different scenarios flashed through Maura's head. What if there was something about the divorce papers that she missed? Something that told them that they weren't rid of Garrett just yet. But when Jane grabbed her hands and gave her a look full of love, the thoughts all left her head.

"Do you trust me?" Maura frowned, but nodded nonetheless.

"Of course I trust you. I trust you with my life. Why are you asking me this?" Jane smiled and took a deep breath.

"All right." Before Maura had a chance to respond, Jane's lips claimed her own and her tongue swept into the honey blonde's mouth.

The Detective's hands clawed at her clothes and before long the Doctor was standing in only her panties. Jane took a moment to look at the beautiful sight before her, before grabbing Maura's hand. She guided them both to the bed, laying Maura down. She saw the inquisitive gaze that the honey blonde was shooting her and had every desire to let her girlfriend know just what she was planning.

"Close your eyes." She watched as Maura's eyes fluttered closed and an adorable frown set onto her features. She was trying to figure out what Jane was planning. But she would have no idea what the Detective had planned.

Jane raised their hands over Maura's head, telling her to keep them there. Then she reached behind her back and grabbed a hold of the cold metal cuffs. Bringing them up into view, she swallowed back her fears. Her hands were shaking and she closed her eyes momentarily to get herself back under control.

Just open your eyes and snap them on. Taking a breath, she did just that. Maura gasped at the cold contact and the sound of cuffs tightening around both her wrists. Hazel eyes stared back at her and Jane was afraid for to see fear there. But all she saw was deep arousal.

"You okay?" Maura nodded, her breathing becoming irregular.

"I never thought you'd actually use them." Jane laughed nervously, sitting up to take off her shirt.

"Well, this is a very special circumstance. So… Can we just stop talking about this? It's weird when we talk about it." Maura nodded, a smile on her face. She pulled at the cuffs a few times, finding that she was indeed restrained.

"Do we need a safe word?" Jane shook her head.

"I'm not going to hurt you." The honey blonde bit her lip, again being deduced to just nodding.

Watching Jane undress in front of her was very distracting and very sexy. And that was when Jane wasn't even trying to be sexy. She was merely getting undressed. When the Detective was down to her underwear, she lied down flush on top of Maura. Looking into her eyes, she trailed her hand up and down her cheek.

"You ready?" Maura let out a breath.

"I'm ready." Jane nodded – more to herself than to Maura – and leaned in to kiss the honey blonde slowly, softly.

Slipping her tongue into Maura's mouth, she heard the other woman moan. The sound encouraged her and she was starting to feel more confident about everything. Her kisses turned more urgent, hungry and her hands started to move up and down Maura's body, barely touching her skin.

Jane's mouth left Maura's and she moved down, swirling her tongue around a hardened nipple. The honey blonde groaned and she tried to reach down, temporarily forgetting that she was cuffed to the headboard. Finding herself unable to, she settled for pressing her body into Jane's. She needed to feel the other woman.

Jane grinned, her eyes looking up to see Maura have her own shut tight and was biting her lip to keep herself from moaning. The sight was incredibly sexy. Returning her attention back to the honey blonde's breasts, she bit, sucked and squeezed them, making sure to give them both the attention they deserved.

The sounds that Maura was making was turning Jane on to the point that she was feeling wetness seep down her thighs. Glancing down at her underwear she growled. They were definitely ruined.

"Jane?" Her eyes shot up and she quickly stilled her movements. Was Maura backing out? Did she hurt her? But she found only love and arousal in those hazel eyes she loved.

"I want to see you." The honey blonde was panting and she was barely able to get out the sentence. Jane once more, looked down at herself. Sitting back up, she smirked at the other woman.

"You want to see me?" Maura nodded, swallowing as another rush of arousal came over her. Jane shrugged, making a show of taking off her bra. First one strap went down, then the next and she reached behind her torturously slow to unclasp it. But she didn't let it drop just yet. She kept her eyes locked on Maura's as she very slowly pulled her bra away, freeing her own pert breasts.

She watched as the Doctor licked her lips and pulled at her cuffs, most probably wanting to touch her. Jane tsk-ed shaking her head at her girlfriend.

"You wanted to see me Maur. No touching." Maura whimpered, moving around on the bed. This was proving to be more difficult than she imaged. Jane however, was having a field time. She was wondering why she felt nervous at all.

Hooking her fingers into the waistband of her panties, she shimmied them down slowly, swaying her hips as she did. Maura's eyes immediately went south and she nearly fainted when she saw how wet Jane was. She really wanted to touch the Detective.

But Jane had other plans and pressed a kiss to her shin, slowly moving up to her knee, her thigh, her hip, her stomach, her breast, her neck, her chin and ending at Maura's lips. They both sighed at the contact. The Detective let her hand rest on Maura's hip, the other propping herself up.

Maura raised her hips, silently telling Jane where she needed her the most, but the other woman was having none of it. She was doing this her way. And she might just be paying her back for what the honey blonde did in the bathroom days earlier. Smirking, she pressed a kiss right under Maura's ear, before whispering.

"Not so fast babe. I'm taking my time this time. Consider this payback for the bathroom incident." Maura groaned, raising her legs up. She was having difficulty finding a comfortable position. But when she heard a sharp intake of breath and felt wetness dribble down her leg, she smirked.

Two can play a game. She felt Jane slowly starting a rhythm, riding Maura's leg. The Detective had her face buried in Maura's neck and the Doctor felt Jane's short breaths on her skin.

She slowly lowered her leg and Jane groaned. She couldn't do this without proper resistance and she raised her head to glare at Maura. The honey blonde smiled innocently, her eyes betraying the fun she was currently having.

"Fine. You want me? You have me." With one last growl, Jane slithered down Maura's body and let her tongue have one firm stroke through Maura's folds.

Maura moaned loudly, her hands grabbing onto the headboard. Jane was exactly where she needed her.

"Please Jane. Stop teasing. I can't, I can't take it anymore." Urged on by Maura's words, Jane wrapped her lips around Maura's clit and sucked. She alternated between sucking and licking, driving Maura close to the edge, before slipping two fingers into the honey blonde. She could feel her walls clenching around her fingers immediately and moaned at the feeling.

"That's it baby. You're almost there." She moved up Maura's body as quick as she could without losing the rhythm she started and claimed Maura's lips. "Come for me babe." Curling her fingers deep inside of the honey blonde, she watched as Maura's face was overcome with ecstasy.

"Open your eyes." Maura struggled to open her eyes and she wondered why Jane asked her this. But when she locked eyes with the Detective and saw the emotion directed at her she knew exactly why Jane wanted Maura to open her eyes.

The honey blonde's mouth fell open and a moan ripped out of her. Her body completely tensed up as her orgasm consumed her. Her eyes stayed locked with Jane's and she could see everything in those eyes she loved. She could see the love, the adoration, the amazement. It was enough to bring tears to her eyes.

Jane's fingers stroked inside her a few more times, slowly bringing Maura down from her high, before pulling out of the honey blonde. She licked her fingers clean, before quickly turning towards the nightstand, grabbing the keys that laid there and freeing her girlfriend. She flinched when she saw the red marks on her wrists.

"Shit, I'm sorry. Do they hurt?" Maura couldn't speak, her love for Jane too overwhelming. So she showed her. Shaking her head, she felt her tears fall. Bringing Jane in for a kiss that showed her just how much she loved Jane, she let her arms encircle the other woman.

"Wow." Maura giggled at Jane's dazed look, before pressing one more soft kiss to those swollen pink lips.

"Th-That was ama-amazing Jane." The Detective blushed, smiling shyly.

"Really? I didn't hurt you?" Maura shook her head, letting her hand caressing Jane's cheek.

"No. You didn't hurt me. Quite the contrary actually. I would really like to show you just how intense and amazing this is Jane. But I will only do it when you're ready. And I can see that you're not. Not yet." Jane nodded softly. She was amazed by how well Maura knew her.

"Thank you." The Detective grabbed both of Maura's wrists, pressing a kiss to both of them. They would heal, but what would others think when they'd see them? Shaking her head, Jane quickly forgot about these things. Why was she thinking about this when there was a beautiful woman right next to her?

And that beautiful woman was smirking at her. Jane narrowed her eyes at her girlfriend, laughing when Maura suddenly pounced at her, straddling the Detective.

"My turn."
