Ace: Not much enthusiasm for the last chapter. I take it that if I kill any characters (or have them near death), not much mourning will occur. In other words, I could have Max die, and no one will care. If Dylan dies a horrible death soon, however, only one person will say anything, and it will be a cheer.

Chapter 8: Mizu no rīdā
Kasai
Before I could express any anger or say something, a giant wall of water came through the shrine and hit the demon, causing him to fall down.
"Kasai! Go defeat the demon. I'll save Iggy!"
"Mizu! What are you doing here?" I asked in shock. "I thought you were dead.
"Just stop the demon!" She snapped. "I'll explain that later!"
I shrugged and released a bunch of fire from my fingertips. Aiming for the oni, I released the fire and made it go in an arc, destroying his presence in the shrine... For now.
As I ran to Mizu's side, a small thought began to bug me. Why was it so easy to defeat the demon. Did he waste his energy on Iggy... Or did I get stronger?
I think it was the former, as it has been years since I could leave this prison...
Iggy
"Ow," I muttered. My back ached a little, and I could see nothingness.
Am... I... Dead? I thought softly. Is this... How death... Feels... Like?
Nope, Kasai's voice told me cheerfully in my head. That's just pain.
Why are you so happy Kasai? I asked.
Well, you are alive, and Mizu, my sister, brought me McDonald's.
Seriously? McDonald's? Of all the things you get eat in the world, you pick McDonald's. Epic fail.
I'm just messing with you, he sighed. Besides, I was poking through your mind, looking for something, and that came up. I don't even know what a McDonald's is.
It's a type of food chain that serves fast food.
I guessed that much, as your memories indicate an intense dislike for their food.
What were you looking for?
Proof that you were the hero I'm looking for. And you are said hero.
I am?
Open your eyes and you will see why, a feminine voice stated.
I opened them slowly, and got assaulted by a flurry of colors and light. A flurry of colors? That means...
I looked to my right. A boy with flaming orange and red hair in a black kimono grinned back. "'Sup Iggy!"
"Yahoo! I can see again" I got up and did a fist pump. Which I immediately regretted as I fell back down in pain. Ow.
"Calm yourself," a blue-haired girl came over to me and put a cool cloth to my head. "It's never good to strain yourself after sustaining multiple injuries, even with my healing abilities."
Kasai scoffed. "You have the best abilities though. He should be walking around now and be super hyper!"
Mizu shook her head. "Not all healing is like that Kasai; you should know better."
Kasai shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever. What's important is getting Iggy to help us."
"With what?" I asked. Yeah, I got my sight back, but not everything is for free.
Mizu looked at me. "Iggy... We need a hero to break our curse and find our missing siblings."
Ace: I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING IN THE LONGEST TIME! I WAS BUSY AND ACCIDENTALLY FORGOT TO FINISH WRITING THIS CHAPTER SOME TIME AGO! AND SORRY FOR THE SHORT CHAPTER!
On another (calmer) note, the McDonald's thing was just to show how culturally lost Kasai was, and I don't think that the Flock would enjoy their food. (At least to me; I could be completely wrong though.)
Four more quick things:
1. I'm considering having story arcs in this story so it won't change randomly when you least expect it. This is the "Masters of the Elements" arc, and it will go on for a bit, so it won't change randomly.
2. Who do you think Mizu and Kasai's missing siblings are? (They could be anyone in this story that is an OC... Yeah, I have a lot of them in this story.)
3. I am planning on renaming Shadow of the Flock, and I will let you guys know next chapter the new name of this Fanfic. It's just that I felt like changing it.
4. I am also going to rename some of the characters like Sasuke and possibly Kami. Ichiro's name will stay the same, however, so I won't get anyone too confused.
That is it.
Ella: And I am going to reappear in a few chapters! And Ace apologizes for the short boss fight. Writer's black was horrible this time.
Mizu: Also, Mizu no ridā means "Leader of water". Yes, Ace puts that much effort into her characters like Kasai and I.
