After the race the Flying Squirrels were in their cabin reflecting on how they lost. Gretchen was complaining about carrying her team (in a literal sense) resting her hands in a tub of ice. Nina looked Patsy.
"What gives Patsy, I thought the Cocoa Beans were going to throw the contest, didn't you find that great smoking gun" Nina asked, recalling Patsy telling them earlier about something she saw after her nap.
Patsy rubbed her arm nervously as she looked around, trying to explain why the blackmail did not work. she told them that Steven knows about her secret, her really big secret that could ruin her reputation.
"He saw it when he was powdering our clothes" Patsy admitted as the two comforted her. They were the only ones in Acorn Flats to know about Patsy's secret and swore they would never tell anyone. The fact that a Bean Scout found out was devastating to hear.
while they were upset, they did understand why she could not blackmail them Gretchen looked up asking if they were really going to wash the Cocoa Bean's Cart. as much as Patsy did not want to do this. they had her secret as leverage. Even if they did not have that leverage Patsy prided herself on keeping her word.
Gretchen looked at the Mongoose, asking what that thing was she found out, as she seemed surprised by what she discovered. Patsy was on the fence telling her cabinmates. She had no idea of knowing if Steven had told the rest of his cabin about her secret as she pondered.
Seeing that Patsy was on the fence about telling them Gretchen pinned the Mongoose to her bed, clearing her throat as a glob of green liquid dripped from her mouth, hanging over Patsy's Face.
"Eww!, Loogie, Gretchen, knock it off" Patsy resisted as despite the Mongoose's skill she was no match for Gretchen's raw strength. Gretchen told Patsy she could make it stop by telling them as the Mongoose looking at the green glob, almost touching her nose.
Okay, I'll tell you" Patsy agreed as Gretchen sucked up the loogie, swallowing it as the Mongoose composed herself. "But you have it under your Berets, I'm serious... don't tell anyone, not the other scouts, Not Miss Doe or Mucus, NOBODY"
Patsy made them promise as the gator and giraffe swore on scouts' honor. She leaned in whispering what she had discovered causing the two to jump back in shock, asking if they heard it right. Patsy nodded, explaining she saw it herself. The two looked at each other, asking how or why.
It doesn't make any sense, it seems illogical" Nina pondered as Gretchen asked how Steven could even be a Bean Scout, that must have violated a number of rules. Patsy reminded them to keep their mouths shut. if word got around Steven would know that Patsy was the one who spread it.
The Two dropped it but it was clear they could not look at Steven the same way. believing that his secret was just as big if not bigger than Patsy's.
Back at Camp Kidney the boys were celebrating their victory. They were in the Camp Kidney Mess Hall raising a toast with cans of lemonade as Lazlo tapped his can with a spoon, proposing a toast to Andy and the scouts of Cocoa Bean Cabin.
"Thank you very much Lazlo, but the true credit belongs to Steven Kent, the best mechanic and friend and guy could ask for, he builds and fixes our vehicles and weapons and the Westridge Orphans and Bean Scouts are lucky to have him" Andy praised raising his can to the Wolf as they cheered.
"I Bet I can drink more Lemonade than anyone here" Jakk challenged as Steven looked around, seeing Tusk was absent so the Kangaroo might actually stand a chance. The Scouts had their little celebration as Jakk, looked around, asking where Tusk was, not seeing the Boar at the celebration as Andy recalled he was going to walk around.
Tusk was walking around the Lake side where he ran into Amber, who was sitting on a log, skipping stones into the lake. he sat beside her, asking how she was doing. she nodded, saying she was fine. Tusk held up a bowl, saying he smuggled some Tofutater Tots from the Mess Hall, Amber looked at the bowl, turning it upside down as the tots stayed in place.
She shook the bowl as its contents stretched, hitting the ground with a wet plop as they both chuckled at the quality of Camp Kidney's food. as Tusk turned to the Rabbit, saying they should probably talk about the Kiss.
Amber knew he was going to bring it up, explaining it was impulse, she was off her meds and never intended it to happen. Tusk looked down as she cleared her throat.
"I mean, I DO Like-Like you Tusk but that was too fast, I wanted my first kiss to be romantic, slow, passionate" The rabbit replied fantasizing it as he bucked her knees nervously, he responded that he liked her two and would be willing to take things slow with her. offering they forget the whole thing.
"I Don't want to forget" Amber explained, telling him how magical that kiss felt, yet it was unplanned but, in the moment, she did not regret it, The Kiss was amazing, she just told him not to expect another as they chuckled. The Two agreed to head back to Camp Kidney, Tusk offering to bring Amber to their celebration.
The Two made it back, entering the Mess Hall. the boys cheering to see Tusk but stood surprised when Amber walked alongside him. The Beans started talking amongst themselves, asking why a Squirrel Scout was there. Tusk explained Amber was his plus one and she was cool.
The two walked along, sitting at Cocoa Bean's table, Tusk sweeping off a spot for Amber as the rabbit sat down. They were all talking, killing time until The Flying Squirrels showed up to wash the Bean Can.
Eventually the girls actually did show up, wearing their uniforms to wash the kart as they agreed to. Patsy looked at them, asking what they were expecting, a bikini carwash as Andy shook his head claiming this was fine, handing them each a bucket of soapy water, a sponge and a hose.
"Make her shine" Steven commented, adding that the Bean Can got filthy from the race it there was dirt for the off-roading and globs of melon from being shot at. the bumper was wrecked from the collision.
The three kept their word being silent as they begrudgingly washed the Bean Can. Patsy running her hand in a circular motion as Patsy felt a finger tap her shoulder. she turned around, dropping her scowl when she saw Lazlo waving friendly at her.
"You girls want some lemonade" Lazlo asked, holding a cooler with some cans of lemonade, handing one to each of the girls. the summer heat was getting to them as the girls were getting thirsty. They each cracked open the can, drinking the yellow liquid.
Amber approached the girls, whispering something to them as the Beans were talking amongst each other. partially surprised the girls were actually doing this. as they heard a whistle. The Beans turned around to see Patsy who holding the hose between her legs, spraying the soap off the Bean Can.
"Hey boys, check it out, I'm whizzing all over your cart" Patsy joked as the boys could not help but chuckled at the juvenile humor, commenting how funny it was as Andy and Jakk felt a rush of water pour down on them, soaking them. The turned seeing Amber holding the empty bucket giggling.
Patsy suddenly aimed the hose at The Beans, spraying them with water. Andy picked up the bucket, using the water being shot at them to fill it up before dunking it on Amber as the Rabbit let out a shriek, leading to a water fight between the two groups of scouts. It the end the campers were coated in water. both sides as they were just laughing.
"We Totally got you?" Nina called out, as Jakk rebutted saying they clearly won the fights. On both side their uniforms were soaking wet as Andy admitted the Squirrels seemed alright as he looked at Patsy, asking leader to leader why the Squirrels were always antagonizing the Beans. Patsy laid on the ground, wringing out her hair.
"Miss Mucus says we have to, I mean it's not that we don't enjoy it, messing with you boys is fun, but we'll get in trouble if we don't. I Can't even imagine what she'll do to us when we get back" Patsy admitted, part of her dreading on returning to Acorn Flats to face the Warthog as the Beans talked amongst themselves.
Andy Got up off the ground, looking at Patsy. He told her to tell Miss Mucus that the Squirrels completely got them off guard, they annihilated the Beans in their water fight. they got them so good it wasn't even close. as Patsy looked at him.
"You'd really let us lie about that, just to hopefully not get in trouble" Patsy asked, confused; curious as to why the Beans would let the Squirrels slander them and spread a lie. Andy replied that he did not want to see the girls get in trouble.
Jakk Interjecting saying the girls seemed cool, praising Patsy's leadership skill, commenting on Gretchen's strength and Nina's ability to sup up their electric kart. the Girls were not used to getting praised by the Beans.
"Just because this Camp rivalry is thing doesn't mean we can't be friends, does it" Andy offered, willing to smooth things over and start fresh. The girls needed time to talk about this. Flying Squirrel Cabin and Amber gathered in a circle asking what they should do.
Andy had heard from Lazlo and Jelly Cabin that the Squirrels weren't really that bad. telling him about one time Patsy helped him, Raj and Clam save their Camp from shutting down. Andy looked at the group of soaked Squirrel Scouts.
Eventually the girls made their decision, agreeing to start fresh as Patsy looked at Them, explaining they'd still have to act hostile towards them, but they could all try being friends under the radar. Lazlo smiled as he gave the three a group hug.
"Eww, get off Monkey Boy" Gretchen called out as Patsy asked her to let it last a few minutes, happy to be hugged by him, even if it was a group hug. After the hug ended Lazlo walked towards Jelly Cabin, pulling the peace sign flag from his cabin, handing it to the squirrels, telling them to make up some cool story about they stole the Jelly Cabin Flag.
Patsy pulled Lazlo into another hug, this time one on one, touched by the act of selflessness as the Squirrels eventually left Camp Kidney feeling much better. they had a story about how the destroyed the Beans in a water fight and the flag of Jelly Cabin to prove it. Patsy deciding to hang it over her bed.
The Secrets were introduced to give the Beans and Squirrels leverage over each other. while the two will continue to antagonize each other publicly they seemed to have hashed out their personal issues.
