AN: Hello pals! I'm finally back with a new chapter!
Honestly, I would have tried to update my Overlord fic, or tried to write one of the DxD fics I have in my brain, but I found out that this fic came to me easier.
Also, I realized that I am more of a one/few-shot fic writer, since I can write these well and let others get ideas from them, but a long story? Yeah, none of my fics would go over thirty chapters, if I'm being generous with my estimation lol.
Anyways, enjoy this chapter!
Yugakure was one cool village, Seren decided.
The village hidden in hot water, or so it was called, and one that had moved, or at least was moving from the typical ninja missions and violence after years of reluctantly giving combat services, instead focusing on pacifism, with the yu-nin being almost exclusively working to protect the roads and ensure safe trips for the coming tourists.
And she had to give it to the village, there were so many lines of tourists, merchants, many ninjas and even some samurais from what she saw when she entered the village.
Seren hadn't really remembered when this village was talked about or shown in canon, if she was honest. It was simply difficult to remember a random village that may or may not have been a filler one, when the majority of the Naruto series was centered around either Konoha, Naruto, or the freaking war that despite killing thousands of ninja, had only happened in like, only, two days? The fact that there were so many more iconic scenes surrounding the battles in the show, like the Pein fight, Zabuza, the fight against Kakuzu and Hidan, the whole Madara thing and Kaguya appearing out of nowhere as well...
Compared to these, a minor village's story was simply not as memorable, and she forgot why the village was mentioned. Something about ninjas not liking it, and trying to destroy it, maybe?
'Oh well, not like I need to bother with Yugakure and its history right now.' Seren told herself as she entered one of the many hotsprings in the village.
Her body, changed to look more "normal" with no third eye on her forehead, no red eyes with rings, or lavender skin in her appearance. And while she looked the same as how she appeared in Konoha, she was certain that a single day wouldn't be enough to warn the entire world about her killing Hiruzen, the clan heads, and the many other ninjas who fought her.
"Ah, the joys of being so powerful." she murmured to herself as her body relaxed when she submerged it in the water. Her mind felt at ease, like nothing could ruin her day that was full of her eating nearly a village's strongest fighters and most important chain of command, a reincarnated Naruto, and satisfying her body before visiting these hot springs.
She gazed at the currently-orange sky, the sun slowly disappearing as the dusk was making its appearance. Steam was rising from the water, as other women were submerging themselves as well in the hot spring.
Seren leaned herself to the edge of the hot spring, enjoying the view before slowly closing her eyes. Maybe taking a quick nap in this place wouldn't be so bad.
Allowing her mind to sleep, she embraced the blackness that was now covering her sight, only slightly was she feeling the way the water moved around her, and how the other women in the hot spring were feeling thanks to Kurama's emotional sensing skills and her instincts.
Time passed, seemingly rapidly and slowly as the alien woman stayed in her place, marveling at this experience.
It was honestly her first time that she felt this relaxed in a hot spring, and even the rare few times she went to one back when she was Emi simply did not compare.
Seren had only exited when one of the workers had told her that it was time for the hot spring to close for the day.
Stretching her body for a minute as she left, her (currently white) skin looking as pristine as ever and with no wrinkles from the long experience, Seren yawned for a moment as she walked on the village aimlessly with no real goal.
The only real question that was in her mind was how much more she should stay in this world.
'Hm, Naruto is dead, Orochimaru as well, and I had absorbed his soul as well, so even an Edo Tensei he would most definitely not return without me allowing his soul to, three of the Bijuus are absorbed by me, and the Akatsuki had lost three of her strongest members, being Nagato, Konan and Itachi. I stayed in this world for more than twelve years at this point, and I did so much.' Though it was probably desire for excitement otherwise she could have simply killed and eaten the entire population in a day.
In the end, Seren had decided to take her time again. She did stay here for twelve years, so what's a couple more?
So with a pep in her walk, she continued her march.
Konoha was in a mode of lockdown. After the death of the entire governing body, with only a few civilian survivors from the council who were hideously lucky, it was natural that the village would enter a state of shock and terror that easily surpassed the one the population felt just three days ago.
Just a few days before, the village was assaulted by the Oto and Suna nin whose attempt was repelled, but with their hokage being alive and well, they truly believed that it was over, that this tragedy wouldn't repeat again.
Only for things to go to hell just a day after, with Sarutobi Hiruzen dead, the entire shinobi council following him to the grave as well.
Naturally, the atmosphere wasn't the happiest think currently in Konoha.
Even as the night sky glowed with stars, a sensation of gloom fell on the village as many of the remaining shinobis and kunoichis were working with more effort than usual even as exhaustion seeped into their bones due to them overworking themselves.
A temporary shinobi council was appointed quickly, consisting of many of the jonins who were deemed qualified for the role, and it just happened that many of them were either ANBU ninjas or one of the jonin teachers, namely Kakashi, Kurenai, Gai and Asuma, Kakashi being the 'leader' so to speak, for the moment, thanks to his experience as an ANBU captain.
"Alright, I'm here. What are we going to talk about now?" Kakashi, being surprisingly late by only a few minutes, had appeared in the council room.
"You know what we're going to talk about, Hatake." Kurenai glared at the man who even now seemed to appear nonchalant, even reading that stupid book of his during the meeting.
She honestly didn't give a damn about what he read or wether he jacked off to his story in his free time, but can't he even try to appear like he cares? Their village had just been attacked twice in the span of two days! And people wonder why she has a reputation of being a feminazi, despite being an expert of genjutsu requiring an open and creative mind as long as the objective isn't a simple stabbing mission. It(s because every shinobi she knew had that one bizzare quirk or irritating attitude that made them a nuisance to talk to when it isn't about murdering opponents or training their students.
Kakashi sighed, putting his book in his pocket. "And what should we talk about then? That somehow, a random kunoichi appeared out of nowhere, killed Orochimaru, then a day later we find that she also holds three of the Bijuus, including the Kyuubi?" he retorted, clearly not amused by the situation at all.
"And the fact that this single woman had killed the entirety of the previous shinobi council, along with the hokage." Yugao snapped back, the ANBU kunoichi looking even less amused. Even though she would have preferred wearing her ANBU mask, it felt rather pointless at this stage.
"Not to mention that this Seren woman had killed your prized student Uchiha." Asuma continued, looking grim. His father's death was obviously not making him happy at all.
"I know that." Kakashi balled his fist at the reminder, knowing that his Sharingan would be morphing into the Mangekyo stage from the sheer anguish he was feeling if he looked at the mirror.
"So, what is our next step then? Naturally, protecting the village is going to be the biggest priority, but we had taken a severe hit in many of the other areas as well." Genma asked, and all of them knew that he was correct.
While the number of shinobi still active took a hit, economy and finances took one as well. With the invasion, along with the sandaime's death, the merchants and tourists wouldn't want to go anywhere close Konoha for the foreseeable future, which made their work much harder.
"And we also need to find an actual candidate for the hokage." Kakashi finished with a sigh.
He seriously wasn't amused with this trashy situation. He really wasn't.
"Leave the search for a hokage candidate for me."
A hail of kunais and senbon was unleashed at the sudden voice coming from the windows, their paranoia already reaching its peak before they took a sigh of relief as Jiraiya was who appeared, unharmed by the volley of sharp weapons thrown at him as they fell on the ground.
"Jiraiya-sama!"
The toad sannin simply nodded at their looks and told them, "I will deal with finding a possible option for the job. I feel that Tsunade's little leave must end at this point." his hand on his head clearly showed his dislike for the possibility, as did his expression.
"Why can't you be the hokage though? You're the most experienced one we have currently. Tsunade might not accept the duty as well." Kakashi said, clearly seeing the problems in the plan.
"True, Tsunade might not accept it, too many painful memories for her, but we both know that I'm not fit for the job as she is. Too much need for movement and maintaining my spy network. Plus, my research would be hampered if I kept being locked in the office!" Jiraiya countered, getting a twitch from Kurenai and Yugao at the last part.
Sighing, he continued, "But she's much better than me for the duty, and that's the most important thing and if she became the hokage, she would be able to at least stop the death rate of those in the hospitals from rising any further. And as for this Seren woman, she will be definitely be dealt with, but not now when things are so messed up. I will put her description in the Bingo book and try to investigate where she currently is. Until I return, hopefully a couple of weeks later, Kakashi will be the acting hokage for the moment, and if Tsunade couldn't be convinced, you will be the godaime, understood?"
"Understood!" Kakashi and the rest of the jonin weren't exactly thrilled, but that was their only option for the moment.
"Good, keep your eyes open and alert. And keep that Ichibi's Jinchuuriki in his cell for the moment. Make sure he doesn't escape, the last thing we need is a bijuu rampaging in the village right now." Just like that, he disappeared like he appeared, leaving a group of emotionally and mentally tired group of ninjas as he rapidly moved outside the village.
He had an idea of where Tsunade is, and he could try predicting that Seren woman's steps, even despite the risks of thinking of only 'what ifs'.
'That monster...' he thought angrily to himself, 'how can an entity like you exist? Just how did you appear?'
He frankly was full of rage at her and what she did. Had she only killed Orochimaru, he would have probably tried to flirt with her. He would have been suspicious of her, naturally, as someone with such power was simply impossible to appear out of thin air, before he would probably relax and maybe even try to genuinely befriend/date her.
Jiraiya hated Orochimaru that much that he wouldn't have complained too much of her eating the occasional thug.
But then she killed his teacher, many of the high ranking ninjas in his village, and swallowed them. Wether it was Hiruzen who started the fight first, and that it was her who gave an effort, minimal as it was to stop it, that mattered little to the toad sannin.
She hurt his village, even more so, his teacher, and she would pay.
Maybe he would need to see if he could perfect his sage mode. That might help greatly if he was to fight this new powerhouse.
Especially one who could easily create craters reaching hundreds of meters.
"Achoo!"
Seren sneezed just as she was taking an other walk in Yugakure, enjoying the sights as she almost blended with the large crowds of the population.
'Wonder what's that about. Maybe someone was talking about me?' she pondered.
She paid for some food and took it with her, thinking once more of what she should do.
Typically, she would find some randy to kill and eat later, and maybe sort through the memories of the Naruto who got reincarnated as Broly, she truly forgot about it.
When she ate his body, her own body felt unbearable heat and she needed to pleasure herself for an hour, before she flew to Yugakure, and it simply slipped her mind to watch Broly's memories even in the next couple days.
'What kind of memories would he have though? Memories of fighting against Goku and Vegeta? Maybe a different opponent?' she thought casually as she expanded her senses trying to see if there was anything interesting happening in the village, which was nothing really.
No real fights and such events, something she might have expected from a village who was moving into a more peaceful approach.
'It feels a bit boring if I am honest,' she knew that her new race made her crave the taste of creatures, dead or alive, in her mouth, and this probably became even more apparent as time went. She did notice how she was quite happy for getting the chance to eat the sandaime and his subordinates.
She felt that she genuinely would have left him in peace if he accepted, yet she didn't hesitate in killing him the moment he refused the peaceful choice.
'Going for the chance to crush my enemy. Like a Saiyan.' she snorted as she had reached her paid room in the hotel close to one of the many hot springs, hands on the door-
"Hm?"
Her senses flared, detecting a foreign chakra inside of the hotel. It wasn't like the usual feel of chakra in most civilians as that felt weak and dormant.
This one on the other hand was much stronger, almost like the typical jonin. And it was filled of bloodlust, from what she could feel.
Seren simply activated the Byakugan she had gained by consuming Hiashi, veins pulsing across her eyes as the world's color shifted for a second in her eyesight before returning to normal, and she looked down.
Some guy with silver hair, mad eyes and a triple-bladed scythe appeared below, and he was... swinging his scythe at people?
"Wait, is that Hidan?" she blinked as she looked more at him.
Indeed, it was Hidan, a member of the Akatsuki, or if she was more accurate, a would-be member if she hadn't killed Itachi and Nagato. He looked just a bit younger, maybe, but it was definitely him.
"-shin-sama for this chance to sacrifice for you!" she heard as she extended her ears, realizing he was praying for his god Jashin and thank him for the chance to give a sacrifice.
Huh. Now that she saw the scene in front of her, she remembered what she forgot about Yugakure: it was from where Hidan became a missing-nin. Though she wasn't sure if him being homicidal towards the village is what caused the Akatsuki to recuit him or if they just did so on their own.
'Not like it might matter in this reality.' Seren told herself as the world halted, her body moving casually towards Hidan, looking like he was in the middle of moving his scythe to stab himself, having already created his Jashin symbol to use his voodoo attack.
She saw that one of the yu-nin was down a few feet away from the would-be Akatsuki member, no doubt the unfortunate victim of the jutsu.
"I guess it's time for me to dispose of another member of the canonical Akatsuki now?" she spoke in the world where the flow of time seemed to halt as her ki manifested a large hammer, swinging it to crack the Jashin symbol into pieces before dragging him far away from the village.
"-retic!"
The butt of Hidan's blade pierced his heart, an euphoric expression as he moaned from the pleasure his self-stabbing caused, imagining the sight of his former comrade nin's dead body, and only when he focused seconds later did he realize that he was no longer inside the hotel.
The feel of the hard ground entered his brain as he noticed himself on the ground, his eyes looking at the sky instead of the body of the yu-nin who should be spitting blood and falling in agony.
His eyes looked around, falling at the woman who was only a couple meters away.
"You!" He had no chance to do anymore than standing up before a blade of ki sliced his head off, then his limbs followed afterwards.
"How dare you!" his angry rant did not stop her as she picked up his head.
"Huh, you really can talk even with your head sliced off. Though you seem to be unable to control your sliced body parts." Seren calmly inspected, seeing as it was like she remembered so far.
Ignoring Hidan's furious rants and expletives, she watched as the hole in his torso was healing, yet his sliced body parts didn't seem to even heal themselves.
Then again, this is why he 'died' by Shikamaru in the original show, otherwise if he could reattach his limbs on his own, he would have managed to escape. Or did Shikamaru also bury the guy under rocks as well?
She used the Human path, ripping Hidan's soul from his body and absorbing it.
Hidan immediately died just like that, as even his immortality required his soul.
She looked into her mind, sorting the Jashinist's memories to see the true nature of Jashin. It would be annoying if that entity could harm her if she ate the body and gained the Jutsu.
Seren soon found out that her worries were a bit unfounded. The memories inspected, she could see that the 'ritual' to give immortality, along with the voodoo ability were quite similar to how one creates horcruxes, or how Orochimaru's ability to divide his soul and his curse mark works, along with the usage of one thing that surprised her a bit.
'The Shinigami?' she looked in interest through the momories from Hidan's perspective, back when he was far more saner, albeit still a killer who worked for Yugakure when it was just starting the change of their policy into a more pacifistic one.
Apparently, the cult of Jashin was more of a cult worshipping the Shinigami who was given a different name and appearance via a powerful genjutsu, with the ritual involving summoning it to forcefully anchor the soul of the target into their body, and sacrificing multiple souls to facilitate the process, and finally, a strong and powerful genjutsu.
The effects varied depending on the success rate, and some of the Jashinists have gotten the voodoo curse part, with others getting the immortality one, but rarely did they get the healing factor (which seemingly works only if the body parts are attached to the main body or in contact with it), much less all the three abilities, until it was Hidan's turn to experience the ritual, and him being the only one who had gotten all three parts so far as he knows.
The ritual does inflict massive amount of pain and damage on the mind of the target, almost breaking it so severely that the target would become docile and accept the genjutsu that basically puts them into a coma, and forces them to feel an insane desire to kill and torture, ingraining the love for murder and deeply force them to worship the Shinigami after giving it a second name: Jashin.
Seren couldn't know how long the genjutsu would continue in real time, but from Hidan's perspective, it had been going 'forever,' as mantras of "Kill for Jashin" and visions of him killing and slicing random faceless beings, with more mantras and emotional conditioning to enjoy death and pain alike, were inflicted on him.
There was also the part where the target of the ritual would be handcuffed, gagged, and heavily immobilized as to not escape before it finishes, thus stopping the threat of a regenerating immortal who can reflect damage back, and killing the other "Jashinists". Well, the reason of why was Seren's opinion really, as Hidan's mind didn't show why they immobilized him. To him, it was part of the ritual, and that was it.
"Like actual cults but just add magical conditioning as well." she hummed as she finally stopped her memory-walk. "But it was probably good that Jashin wasn't real. I guess I can delete the whole 'Jashin is an Ootsutsuki' theory I read about back in my first life."
Eating Hidan's corpse afterwards was a normal affair, and she returned to Yugakure for the next few days, and her tests of the voodoo jutsu of the "Jashinist" were a huge success.
It had been almost nine months since the Konoha attacks done both by Orochimaru and Seren, and Tsunade wasn't having fun with her position in the hokage's office.
The situation did stabilize just a bit, so it wasn't completely bad, but it was still annoying and stressful. The construction of the destroyed buildings was finished, and the hospitals were given much needed lessons and plenty of smacks due to how stupidly, ignorantly incompetent they were in how the village trained its medic nins.
Nurses and doctors were told to shape up or leave, with some being kicked out with no care when they didn't prove any improvements, and many of those in critical state were finally healed, so the village got some amount of the manpower they desperately needed at least.
Kakashi's Sharingan got a better transplant surgery unlike the shoddy one he got decades ago, making it drain less chakra, as well the possibility of turning it on and off, so it helped him a bit, both in shaking the rust from his body and upping his skills, so now he had became much better fighter and he could probably deal with S-class nins more effectively.
Naturally, things didn't go completely fine for them either. The Ichibi's new jinchuuriki, some random jonin was kidnapped, never to be seen again, and Tsunade had been told by Jiraiya that Han and Roshi, the jinchuurikis of Iwa had also disappeared, each disappearing with nearly a three months interval between them.
Jiraiya had already told her of his suspicions that the Seren kunoichi was the one responsible, and she had to agree on it, which is why the bounty put on the blue-haired kunoichi got updated once more with a hefty bounty of 500 million ryo, detailing the danger she represented as a kunoichi with a unique dojutsu, somehow managing to seal three Bijuus inside of her body, and killing Hiruzen, though that particular feat was given with the rumor that the sandaime was still weakened from the fight against Orochimaru.
"Hah! I hate this stupid job. Shizune! Where are the last papers?" she demanded as her assistant frantically rushing and giving her the papers to read. Ah, what she would do to get some sake right now.
'Right now, there are only three Bijuus free, and it's clear that the tension is slowly rising. Kiri and Kumo are clearly feeling agitated knowing that their jinchuurikis and Bijuus would be next.' she thought to herself as she pondered on what to do.
Fighting that woman was clearly wasn't a desired option if possible, she understood that much. She had honed her skills and took away the rust she had gained due to leaving the village for decades, but Tsunade knew that she was nowhere as good as Seren's sheer destructive and raw power, especially since she had seen the damage she persumably caused close to the village.
But she knew that a fight will most likely break out at some point, unless that kunoichi simply stopped causing mayhem and just disappeared.
"Tsunade-sama!" her thoughts were halted as Kakashi, along with Yugao had entered the office via a sunshin, and she immediately felt the coming headache.
"Ame is now on lockdown." Kakashi spoke completely serious.
Tsunade only massaged her forehead, "Explain."
(One hour earlier)
Obito glared at the woman in front of him. The woman that ruined his plans, who managed to somehow seal so many of the Bijuus inside of her despite it being seemingly impossible. Even he was sure that sealing two tailed beasts inside one body would severely damage even someone like Nagato, yet this woman in front of him...
She was able to easily handle having six of them inside of her!
'Just what kind of ability does this woman have!?' he thought as he phased through a yet another attack of hers, a sphere of energy that seemed to resemble a Rasengan, but she could throw it at him from distance.
'What kind of chakra does she have?' his Sharingan looked at her, and despite seeing the energy she enemated, it seemed to be completely foreign to what normal chakra is.
He phased through her body as she closed at him with a rather high speed, though luckily she was nowhere near the yondaime hokage in the speed department, and it was only due to her unleashing these energy projectiles that he didn't find a chance to stab her already.
"Phasing opponents are really annoying, you know that?" she spoke after he avoided another blast of her, but he felt that she was only amused, not annoyed or worried about him at all.
"I wonder, how long would you be able to continue fighting me? You have a limit, correct?" she told him as he had to phase just when he was about to stab her neck, a blade of energy nearly slicing his abdomen if he didn't do so.
"You talk too much." Obito snapped, having stopped his silly act long ago, his patience already worn thin towards her.
He swung at her once more, finding one rare chance as their gazes met, and he used a genjutsu to paralyze her.
It had only managed to halt her for a fraction of a second, her body freezing before swinging at him with her hand covered in ki, what he persumably believed to be chakra.
His rod pierced her neck, and in return her hand pierced his torso's left side, drawing blood from him, though luckily it wasn't too problematic, only a small wound all things considered.
With a grunt and effort, he moved the rod inside her neck and almost sliced her head off as her own blood gushed out, her body dropping to the ground.
Breathing heavily, he quickly rose, glaring at her face still looking smug and amused even with her head almost separated from her body.
"What an annoying obstacle." he stated as his eyes kept locking on her for almost a minute, wondering when she would die as his Sharingan didn't detect any signs of chakra disappearance that usually followed death, when he suddenly phased as a blast almost hit him, only his reflexes stopping him from losing his zetsu arm.
'She's stil alive even now?' the shock that appeared on his face quickly disappeared as he watched her rise from the ground, looking mildly annoyed.
"Ah, I expected you to slice my head completely and just leave me by now or throw a fire jutsu at me. Shame, really. It seems that you don't think that no kill is is an overkill for me. Honestly, you should have tried using the Gedo Mazo, or thrown your lackey Mizukage at me and using your teleporting ability. Maybe then you'd have had a higher chance of surviving this battle." Seren had fully risen and looked towards him with her eyes morphing into her Rinnegan as he seemed to get more tense.
Though, she had no plan on using her eye powers if what she was going to do would work.
She slowly moved the hand she stabbed Obito with, the hand that held his blood even now, clenched and closed, and licked it.
Obito watched as her body morphed and became covered with black and white markings, just like a skeleton. Ki enemated from her feet and moved the blood around her to create one simple symbol.
A circle with a triangle inside of it.
'What is she doing? Some kind of sealing jutsu?' Obito looked at her cautiously.
He hadn't seen something like that before, nor heard about it either. Though if one was honest, it was mostly due to Seren's activities than his ignorance, really.
Had she not killed Itachi, ruined the Akatsuki's plans for stealing the tailed beasts, and if she had not visited Yugakure when she did, the path of the following events would have been a bit more similar than what originally happened in the canonical story of Naruto.
Hidan, going on a rampage, would have been warned about due to his homicidal tendencies, and he would have fought Kakuzu and Itachi, resulting in him being recuited, and Obito getting a "Jashinist" in their ranks, and Obito would have known about Hidan's unique brand of abilities.
but that didn't happen in this reality; Itachi was long dead, Kakuzu was still around, and Obito was finding himself dealing with the fallout of Pein's death as well, along with the situation in Kiri as the rebellion was happening. He simply had no time to understand what kind of unique abilities that could exist, which is why he assumed that what Seren was doing was a unique seal, or something similar to them.
So when Seren raised her arm, ki emerging from her, he expected that she would try to either summon something or seal him, something he felt confident enough that he could fight it.
What happened instead is that he saw her create a blade of energy, and...
She horizontally sliced her body in two from the torso.
Pain invaded his senses for just a moment, the world seemingly slowing down as his eyes widened in shock, noticing how he was falling, and noticing how his lower half seemed to stop working.
"Wh... at?" he choked, seeing the blood leaking around him like geyser, his Sharingan only adding to his confusion as he collided with the ground.
He couldn't feel or move anything in his body, no matter how he tried, and he immediately knew what just occured.
In the last seconds of his life, he could only look at what his eyes could see in front of them, unable to understand what happened, before everything started to get quickly black.
had he known about what she was going to do, he could have tried to use a fire jutsu to vaporize the blood, or maybe throw a large shuriken to mess with the symbol. Maybe he could have used the Izanagi to negate his death, and spawn himself right next to her and stab her in the eyes. It wouldn't have done much to kill her, but it might have stopped her from killing him, allowing him to escape to see the next day. Had he done that, he could have tried to find a chance to seal her using the Shinigami, even fueling the Gedo Mazo that way.
But things happened too fast for him to comprehend, too quick for him to use the spare Sharingan for his Izanagi. And he had no way to keep himself alive with his body sliced in two, the Hashirama cells in his arm can only do so much, unfortunately.
'Rin...'
His eyes, while still open, could no longer see the light of life.
"That was quite the death, I guess." Seren, her body still sliced in two, commented as her legs destroyed the circle before reattaching her body, muscles and skin connecting and linking to each other.
She had felt his emotions in his last moments of life, regret, rage, disappointment, and they felt just right for him.
Still, her body desired to eat, like it always did, so she indulged, which was the scene that one of the Ame nin's own ANBU branches found themselves seeing as they entered into the open space she was in, the genjutsu put on the guards by Obito having ceased to exist with his death, though her own destructive display made it quite obvious.
"You!" they yelled as they readied their weapons, but she only looked at them with a questioning look. Frankly, she still doesn't understand why ANBU continue fighting this much, when they keep losing so easily against anything of a jonin caliber, then again, she's one of the monsters in their world, not the norm.
A kunai was thrown at her, but it simply hit her skin and fell on the ground without even scratching her. Moving faster than the attacker could notice, she simply smacked them to the ground before leaving them alone.
Honestly, she had only bothered to go to Ame for four reasons, or rather, four people: Zetsu, Konan, Obito and the former mizukage, the Sanbi's holder.
Konan had died at the beginning of the fight with her and Obito, captured by multiple shadow clones with Rinnegan, taking away her soul with no scratch on the body of the original Akatsuki's last member.
Zetsu, he thought he was smart, having the ability to hide and move through earth, and tried to escape far away to find a plan to fix the mess she had caused, but sadly for him, Kurama's ability to feel emotions made him a visible target, and with the Byakugan and her speed, he was easily caught, and his soul was also drained.
The Mizukage, he was quite annoying, mostly because she didn't want to simply kill him and wait for three years so that Isobu will reappear, so she had to throw clones at him and put him and Isobu in a Tsukuyomi to stop them from causing too much ruckus.
And now that she had achieved her objective in either killing or capturing these people, it was time to leave the village, and let the Ame's civilians and shinobis deal with the aftermath.
It had been three more months since Seren had effectively killed all the Akatsuki members, the ones who would have canonically joined the organization.
Deidara was easily killed, his clay and explosion release while good and devastating, simply paled against the sheer power she had. Even him flying on his clay bird did nothing as she could easily fly as well, simply by willing it at this point.
Kakuzu was honestly an entertaining one, as the moment he saw her, he freed all his hearts to fight her, deeming her as a dangerous threat which she was. She had a shadow clone use the shadow possession, one of the Nara's techniques to bind him and his hearts for a moment with the real her eating him almost fully, leaving only one measly finger, something that one of the hearts reached to, and apparently sacrificed itself to fully revive Kakuzu's body. He had no more chances to fight back, as she killed all his hearts and bodies with an Akimichi jutsu combined with a Namekian's skills to increase her size and swallow him whole.
Sasori, he had quantity in his arsenal, and against anyone else, he also would have had quality as well. When Seren saw that eating the puppets didn't give her any feeling of pleasure or increase in power no matter how small, she simply moved faster than he could even percieve and ate Sasori's main body with the puppets sealed in the Kamui dimension that she gained due to Obito's Mangekyo.
The latest "important" kills she did, as far as she was concerned were her dealing with the Raikage and the two remaining Jinchuurikis. But they still lost just as easily. She knew from the many memories she had that these three would have been a challenge to any of the normal Akatsuki member, with only Nagato ans Obito managing to guarantee a win when faced with the three of them.
But when one could absorb chakra, ki, and energy in general, all offensive jutsus became useless, and the fact that she could drag them towards her, and just how fast she was compared to them, she had managed to drain them of all their energy, with no place for them to escape, and she killed A, while freeing Matatabi and Gyuki before they too were swallowed along with their Jinchuurikis.
"With this, the essences of all the bijuus are in my body." Seren gave a content sigh as she licked the remaining blood from her fingers, feeling the power coursing through her as the memories of the two bijuus are being organized.
She could feel her eyes morphing just slightly, turning into the Rinne-Sharingan and taking a white color. If she wanted to, she could cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, but honestly she had no reason to.
"And now, I had killed and consumed all the jinchuurikis, all the bijuus, and countless more. I believe that I now had finished everything I could get from this world."
Sure, the Ootsutsuki were probably on the moon, for whatever reason, or were they in a different dimension contained in this reality? Eh, who cares at this point. Not her really.
Seren gazed at her reflection in the mirror, seeing the Rinne-Sharingan eyes before taking a long breath.
"I guess it's time to return to my original DBZ world now." she decided, opening a portal to the DBZ world she came from, and using her skill to modify the time ratio between the two dimensions, she chose a ratio of 1:1.
"With this, I say good bye to this reality for now." she would probably return to it at some point, but for now she planned to live the next few decades in the second universe she was in.
She might have left Tsunade, Mei, and many more 'powerful' and unique entities and humans alive, but it woulddn't do much of a difference at this point.
With such thoughts, she crossed the void/portal and closed it.
Seren breathed the air full of nature as she saw her surroundings. She was currently just a few dozen meters away from her cave, the scent of flora and fauna hitting her nose.
"Ah, sweet home, I think I should say?" with such musings, she retreated as the light of the moon shined on her.
Time to enjoy her still isolated life in this world, and maybe she would start going to the cities more often. She wouldn't want her social skills to be too low for her liking.
There are still some 198 years before Goku's journey begins, and it'd be better to keep her ability to talk sharp for more than speaking to herself or killing her enemies.
AN: End of chapter. Hope you enjoyed it! Tell me in the comments!
