Story 3: When the Klaws Strike Part 2
Spider-Man looks in shock as he stares at the cat themed person behind him.
Spider-Man: Holy crap that's Black Panther! His actual name is T'Challa when he's the king of the nation of Wakanda, but he does protect it as the Black Panther.
Black Panther: You must be Spider-Man I presume. I have heard stories about you.
Spider-Man: Wait, he knows my name?! And he heard about me?! AWESOME!
Black Panther: But I suggest you keep still, my friend. Those men down there must answer to me for their crimes.
Spider-Man hops off the railing and shakes Black Panther's hand, trying to keep his excitement under control.
Spider-Man: So are they like your Larping buddies or something?
Black Panther: No, They are thieves and criminals. They stole my nation sacred metal-
Spider-Man: You mean Vibranium?! Huh. That rare metal that's all wacky, weird, and can absorb sound and- Am I talking too much? Sorry, I normally blabber on when I am-
Black Panther lets go of the young hero's hand awkwardly.
Black Panther: I see.. Uhh… Your reputation was that of inexperience, but it seems you did your homework well…
Spider-Man: Oh wow.. Uh thanks? Wait… what did you say about inexperience…?
Black Panther turns around with his arms crossed.
Black Panther: My Dora Milaje were tracking these thieves all across the globe. Now, listen to me, child. Go back home and-
He turns his head around and sees Spider-Man already gone as he sees him jump and flip over the railing.
Spider-Man: Huh? Sorry, were you saying something? My bad! Keep talking while I beat these guys up!
Black Panther sighs and shakes his head.
Black Panther: Americans…
Black Panther jumps after Spider-Man as he pounces on a few of the thieves while Spider-Man kicks one in the face.
Spider-Man: okay time to show the king here how we do it in New…York…? Wow.
His eyes widened behind his mask as he watched Black Panther strike thieves left and right with great speed, agility, and grace. As Spider-Man watched in surprise,a thief tried to ambush him, but Spider-Man simply shoved a fist into the guy's stomach, sending the thief to the floor.
Spider-Man: Man, he's fast! Faster than me!
Spider-Man: It's like he knows what people do before they do it.
Black Panther: Of course, I can sense where my opponents are before they strike
Spider-Man: Aw shit. I said that one out loud, did I..? I didn't- wait… Can you read minds as a superpower?
Black Panther jumps and roundhoused a goon before looking at Spider-Man.
Black Panther: You said a monologue out loud. It's an occupational hazard.
Spider-Man steps back as he starts getting surrounded.
Spider-Man: It's like my Spider-Sense, but better and way more effective…
Spider-Man: So uhm.. T'Challa, any chance you were bitten by a genetically altered panther?
Black Panther: You must be joking.
Black Panther leaps to Spider-Man's side, ready for battle as the two beat down the crooks with webs, claws, punches, and kicks.
Spider-Man: Right, being bit by genetically altered animals. It's a joke.
Black Panther: What I simply do is listen. I listen to my surroundings, then I strike.
Spider-Man lands as the duo have defeated the guards. Black Panther walks to a cargo crate as he peeks inside to examine the Vibranium within as Spider-Man follows.
Spider-Man: Wow, that was cool. Did you see that? Oh who am I kidding? He did it after-
Spider-Man stops himself as he realizes he was saying his thoughts out loud again.
Black Panther: Hmm.. strange. A portion of the Vibranium is missing…
Spider-Man: Well I was happy to- AH!
Spider-Man rubbed his head as his Spider-Sense tingle at that moment. Spider-Man looks around the room, wondering where it came from before he hears a male voice with an Australian accent calling out from behind him.
?: Ah… T'Challa.. You are tenacious…
Both heroes turn around as they see a man walking out of a door as he was wearing red and purple armor with black accents, a pink faceplate, glowing red eyes, and an odd device in the place of his right hand.
?: …But, you are no match for the hand of… THE KLAW!

Author's note: Before I get asked, I will get this off my chest. Some stories and episodes of this story and TASM S1 is based on some of the stories in the Spidey comic series and other comic stories. The reason I wanted to adapt some of them was because I felt they were great stories that I can adapt and fit into my stories. So if you see some, just know I am trying to adapt stories, so they may be similar, but I am trying my hardest to try and make changes to fit my series. I hope this was a decent explanation.
