Clary's POV
I am waiting for them to call our name when Isabelle comes running into the room. I don't say anything knowing that our manager is already going to yell at her.
"Now we are being joined by two girls who are from a small town," the interviewer says, "give it up for The Shadow Girls."
I smile at Isabelle and we walk towards the interviewer. We sit down and my smile gets bigger.
"Hello girls. Can you tell us what your names are?"
"My name is Clary Fairchild," I say.
"And I am Isabelle Lightwood," Isabelle says.
"And where did your inspiration for your debut song Unbroken come from?"
"I originally started writing Unbroken when I was 14. I was going through a tough time in my life. My parents were always fighting and someone who at the time was my best friend moved without even saying goodbye to me. He didn't even tell me that he was moving. I met Isabelle a year ago and she helped me finish the song," I explain.
"What I added is about loving someone who might not love you back," Isabelle adds.
"Are you working on another song?"
"We do plan on writing more songs," I say, "We are just waiting for inspiration to strike."
"Are there any upcoming events for you girls?"
"We have a benefit concert coming up later this week," Isabelle says.
We are asked a few more questions and then we leave. That's when I see him.
