Oh Monty, you had us going there, making us believe that Weiss would succome to an injury very fatal. You my good friend deserve troller of the year reward. Screw Kerry, he does minor things, you my good sir had threatened a whole section of RWBY fans. Anyway, let's finish season 1 of Second Sun.

Things got a bit less tense since we left the memorial, which coincedently coincided with Vytal Day. I looked at the person on the ladder, it was Rubys uncle Qrow. I flipped up my hoody. And being since I was a very hated criminal today I wore myself Cole McGraths jacket. I always had it in my pocket, just to mock him. My predecessor was an all around good guy, I wasn't.
"Oh the Vytal festival"Weiss smiled.
"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out."Ruby said.
"How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, and a tournament! Oh the planning and organization that went into this is simply breathtaking!"I'm not smiling.
"You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring."Yang said as we continued.
"Quiet you."Weiss retorted.
We continued down the street, I kept my hoody up and looked around. I didn't see any shop that I had already robbed, once apon a time I remember being at the top, the kingpin, the mastermind, the boss, the CEO, KING, of Vale and the other kingdoms...now it's gone stale. Damn Cinder, when I get my hands on her-
"WUUUUUUUUUUURR!"The sound of a ship rung through my ears.
"Remind me again why we're spending our friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?"Yang asked.
"Mind to tell us Weiss?"I asked.
"Aw they smell like fish."Ruby complained.
"IF you must know, I heard that students would be visting from Vacuo today, and as a representative of Beacon. I feel as if it's my solomn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom."She said.
"First off, I would be the rep., second, you just wanna know what makes them tick do you?"I asked.
"Don't give me that."She said.
"Woah."Ruby looked at the end of a passing street.
I looked at it too, it was another busted dust store. We walked to the cops there, who were idling around.
"What happened here?"I asked.
"Robbery, second dust shop to be hit this week. This place has turned into a jungle."Dust shop?
"Ugh, that's terrible."
"They left all the money again!"One the cops said.
"Yeah, it doens't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much dust?"Only dust, this can't be a coincedence.
Where have I heard this before? The amount of dust that's been stolen...where have I heard of this before? I'll need to run through my hard drive and take a look.
"Hm, the white fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates."She said.
"What's your problem?"
"My problem? I simply don't care for the criminaly insane."
"The white fang is hardly a pyschopaths. They're a collection of mis-guided faunus."Is Blake standing up for the White Fang?
"Mis-guided? They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet."
"So then they're very mis-guided. It still doesn't explain why they'd rob a dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale."
"I agree, must've been Torchwik, I didn't catch him last time..."
"That still doen't mean that faunus are a bunch of lying cheating scoundrels."
"That's not all true."
"Hey stop that faunus!"Someone yelled.
Everyone ran to the source, I went as well to see what was going on. I watch as a monkey(?) faunus made it's way out of the boat with a banana. He thanked the crew members and jumped from the boat. He avoided some cops and ran up the stairs, he made his way down past us. He was fast, because I could barely keep track, wait did he just wink at Blake?
"Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes."
"Quick, we have to observe him!"Weiss said as she ran down the faunus' path.
We were lagging behind and when we turned the corner, Weiss fell on top of someone. I looked to see that the faunus had gotten away.
"No, he got away!"She cried.
"Uuuuugh, Weiss."Yang pointed to the girl beneath her.
She jumped back in shock to see the smiling girl.
"Salutations!"What?
"Um, hello."Ruby said.
"Are you...okay?"Yang said.
"I'm wonderful, thank you for asking."
"You're still on the floor."I told her.
"Oh, yes!"She stood up by doing a flip, the hell?
Litterally everyone scooted back."My name is Penny, it's a pleasure to meet you."She said.
"Hi Penny, I'm Ruby."
"I'm Weiss."
"Blake."
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?"Yang asked, but Blake elbowed her.
"Oh, I'm Yang."
"Damian."I responded.
"It's a pleasure to meet you!"
"You already said that."Weiss pointed out.
"So I did!"She said.
"Well, sorry for running into you."Weiss said as she started leaving.
"Bye, friend."Ruby waved.
"She was...weird."
"Maybe she's just too smart for small words."I said.
"Well, where did that faunus riff-raff run off to?"
"What did you call me?"I looked to see Penny?
"What the hell!?"I backed up in shock, jesus christ this girl.
"How did-what-but-why-WHO!?'I shouted, no way this girl got in front of us without us seeing.
"No not you-"She moved past Yang and to Ruby,"you."She said.
"Me?"
"You called me friend, am I really your friend?"She asked.
"Uuuuum-"She looked at us.
Yang said no, Blake said no, Weiss said no, I said I don't know.
"Yeah sure. Why not?"Beside me all three girls collapsed.
"Sensational!"She hoo-raaad.
"So, why are you here?"I asked.
"I'm going to be in the tournament, I'm combat ready."She saluted.
"Excuse me, but you hardly look the part."
"Says the girl in a dress."Blake said.
"It's a combat skirt!"She told her.
"Yeah!"Ruby pullled beside her and gave her a high-five.
"Wait a minute, if you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey tailed rapscallian?"She asked.
"The who?"Penny asked.
"The filthy faunus from the boat!"She pulled up a crude drawing of the faunus from before.
"Why do you keep saying that?"Blake asked, she was ticked.
"Huh?"
"Stop calling him a rapscallian, stop calling him a degenerate, he's a person."This is gonna be a long fight.
They got on and on about it while I told Penny that we'd be leaving.
"Uuuugh, I think we should go."Yang said.
"No kidding."
Back at Beacon
I watch back and forth as both Weiss and Blake went at it about there views of the White Fang. Personally, the White Fang do deserve some respect, faunus shouldn't be kicked around, but I'll let them solve.
"-Why do you think they hate humanity so much? It's because people like Cardin, people like you that force the white fang to take such drastic measures."
"People like me?"
"You're discriminatory!"
"I'm a victim!"Oh, she's going into this.
"You want to know why I despise the White Fang? Why I don't particulary trust the faunus? It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War, as in actual blood shed, my grandfathers company has had a target painted across it's back for as long as I can remember. And eversince I was a child, I've watched as family friends dissappear. Board members, executed. An entire train car full of dust...stolen. And everyday my father would come home furious, and that made for a very difficult childhood."Ruby walked up to her.
"Weiss, I-"
"No! Do you want to know why I despise the White Fang? It's because they're a bunch of liars, thieves, murderers!"
"WELL MAYBE WE WERE JUST TIRED OF BEING PUSHED AROUND!"We?
Weiss stepped away from her, was she...a faunus? I never knew, the dossier on her never said she was faunus. Blake stepped back as well, probably feeling overwhelmed. And even faster then the other faunus, she left the room leaving behind only a very intense environment.
"Blake wait come back!"Ruby ran to the door.
A faunus? I would have to go over my notes again, for now I'll let her go, no doubt she needs her time.
following morning
I put on my jacket, we were heading out to look for Blake. I was tieing up my shoes when Ruby walked up next to me.
"Hey, Damian?"
"Yeah?"I asked.
"What did you mean, when you said you knew how the faunus felt?"She asked, I stopped.
"I'll ask you this once, do you really want to know?"
"Uum-"
"No, 'sures' or 'I guess', you have to willing to get to know my past."
"Yes, I do want to know."She said.
"Alright, let me tell you a bit about a place called Seattle."
"Seattle?"
"No talking. It was a long time ago, don't think you'd find it on maps, it was a very small place. But here's what happened. A long time ago, there were a seperate part of humans, humans who could gain the ability of any elemental material, some times it doesn't need to be touchable. These people were called Conduits. People able to gain powers from only a select few. But I wasn't the first, so far from the first. The first to be found out was Cole McGrath, savior of Empire City. He unknowingly set off a bomb, which killed thousands, him at the center. What happened next was truly outstanding. He gained the power of electricity, with it he fought against all the gangs and secret organizations around him. He did and became the most powerful conduit, for a time. He was destined to fight another conduit called the beast, and he did. Once he defeated it, there was only one thing to do. A device was made to defeat the beast, but this device also killed all the conduits in the world. With knowing this, and the only way to bring peace, Cole did it...killing himself in the progress.
Several years had passed, Conduits weren't a dead species, they were still alive...WE were still alive. But we were hated, labled Bio-Terrorists."
"DIdn't that Delsin Rowe guy call himself a bio-terrorist?"Ruby asked.
"Yes, he was a conduit as well as another, they hated humanity for a reason...just like the White Fang. During the years in between there was a government organization called the D.U.P. they were sent into detain conduits, and put them to jail for life. Ages as young as eight I believe."
"Eight?!"
"Yes, even parents didn't love their bio-terrorist of a new-born. They kept them in supremely maximized prisons, testing on them. The D.U.P. were a bunch of 'freak taking down other freaks', but with my powers I took down the D.U.P. and freed the other Conduits."
"What happened next?"
"A very tragic thing, we're done. Let's go find Blake."
later that day
I decided to split apart from the team, I would be better tracking alone. In reality all I needed was to get some space. Walking around in the streets reminded me of the time when me and Reggie would walk around in Seattle to visit some of the stores.
flashback
"C'mon Reg, isn't that enough?"Delsin complained as he held the stack of dry-cleaned clothes the two brothers had two pick up.
"All we need now is the groceries, calm down Delsin."It was the times before Reggie became a cop, things were peaceful...things were nice.
"Great, do i have to carry that too?"
"No, I'll carry them."
"For once you do something productive."Delsin murmured.
"What did you say?"Reggie asked.
"Nothing I-"Delsins attention moved to a nearby T.V.
"Once again, the D.U.P. had detained another Bio-Terrorist. With the help of the brave police in southern Texas they had been able to capture the criminal and arrest them, back to you Jack."
Delsin didn't like the D.U.P. they never gave Delsin the 'safety' feeling from them. Hell he didn't like most government associations because you never did like the government. But this was a world of scientific mystery, one that was still un-mapped.
"Hey, Delsin, we still need to get the groceries."Reggie brought him back from his conscience.
"What, oh yeah."
"C'mon, let's go get the food."
Ignorance is bliss they said, if so...then Delsin was on a one-way path to hell.
flashback end
I past the next street, as I did a explosion went off. The sound was all too familiar.
"Roman."I growled.
I ran as fast as I could, not wanting to attract attention I was forced to only run and not use my powers. I pushed people aside as I made my way to the shipping yard, I ran faster, if I can get to Roman...I could probably get to Cinder. Finally out of the publics eyes, I did what I do best...cause chaos.
I sprouted my video wings, and flew into the air. At the top of the burst I observed the scene. White Fang everywhere, the faunus from before, Blake, Ruby, and Penny who was wrecking everything, and in the middle was Roman.
"ROMAN!"I yelled.
He finally noticed me. He quickly got out his cane and started firing. I manuevered around them and got up close, when I landed in front of him pulled my arm back and punched him back. He got back up and looked at me.
"Why, Delsin, welcome back. Didn't know you were partnered with these weird kids."He said.
"Where's CInder!?"I demanded.
"Why should I tell you that?"
"Because if you do, I'll let you die slowly!"
"I'd prefer not to die."He said.
"TOO BAD!"I changed to neon and sprinted at him.
He fired another shot which I dodged and brought up my neon sword and swiped at him. He blocked it and swung, I moved right and swung, this time pushing him back farther. I charged again, this time using concrete and rammed him through a few containers. I changed to smoke as Roman got back up.
"What are you standing there for, kill him!"He shouted to the White Fang.
They came at me, swords and axes...no stronger then sticks and stones. The first one I burst at him and desintegrated him. Four more. I took out my chain, it shone a big red-ish brown color as I smacked the hell out of them. I moved back and used my force blast (that's what I like to call it) to immediately turn them all to smoke.
"Still killing aren't you?"Roman said.
"Yeah, and you're next."I ran right at him.
Once again he fired a shot, I burst through it and whipped him with my chain. He got back and hit me in the gut, I pucnhed at him but he blocked, I tried an elbow twice and again it failed, I faked a left and jumped to his right and gave a hard punch knocking him back a few feet. I was about to do it again when he raised a finger.
"Nah ah ahh, see that?"He pointed behind me.
Behind me Ruby, Penny, Blake, and the faunus were fighting a large number of enemies, even with Penny's amazing puppeteer skills, there were too many.
"You can either go after me, or save you stupid kid friends, your choice."
'Why should I care about them, you're dead!' is what I would've said...but I didn't. Why? Why didn't I go after him? Was I actually starting to like team RWBY(+D)? No I couldn't, could I? Dammit why am I hesitating?
"I'll kill you!"Instead of running at him, I ran away.
"Yeah, I'll be waiting!"He yelled back.
I ran towards the others and joined the fight. I whipped a faunus with my chain and got beside Blake.
"How many?"I asked.
"Too many."
"Good. Ruby, Blake, Penny, and-"I looked at the other faunus.
"Sun, Sun Wukong."
"-Sun, go! I got this!"I told them.
"But-"
"I said go Ruby!"
They ran as I distracted the White Fang. Time to end this, charged up and shot into the sky. As I reached the top I absorbed shards for all of my primary powers. I felt as my demons formed around me and my body turn to concrete. I started to fall and started to spin around like a top, as I did I felt the neon shoot out of me, at the demons and straight to the ground. I felt bullets comming at me but they merely bounced off. I opened my eyes to see all of team RWBY along with Penny and Sun watching as I made my descent. I looked under me to see the dozens of frightened White Fang, and to think I supported them.
"TAKE THIS!"
I reached the ground but I didn't touch it, total silence everything dissappeared for a moment, I floated a foot off the ground. I brought my fist down and all chaos broke out. Glitches started rising up from the ground along with jagged pieces of concrete, neon balls that had been on the ground had blew up, the demons reappeared and made their carpet bomb, and myself created a large explosion.
Y. Xiao Long
Yang had not scene anything as destructive as this. Back at initiation she thought that Damians big bird thing was powerful. This, this had blow that out of the entire planet. All four of his powers, neon, concrete, smoke, and video. All combined to create this BIG crater. And in the center of that crater, was Damian Rayes...the strongest person she knew.
D. Rowe
I looked around, everything was demolished. I looked at the White Fang, they were alive. I looked back at team RWBY and freinds, they were alive. Finally the cops started to come and everything started to calm down a little. Cops were looking into the destruction, and Weiss and Blake started to make up. The group (minus Penny she dissappeared somewhere) formed a circle and shared a laugh.
Poor kids, they don't know what's about to happen. This is merely the begining of a very large scale war. And they're just pawns in a game of chess. But they're not Cinders pawns, nor will they be Ozpins pawns. No they're mine, when I'm back to full strength, I'll level this city, bring about my rule and be a king. Whoever did this, whoever put me here, whoever gave me this...Second Sun...they've made a terrible mistake.

I looked out into the sky, watching the moon I got bored as usual. I opened my hand, and focused a little. As usual little balls started forming. First was a brown mist smoke, second, a purple streak neon, third, a glitch video, fourth, a rock concrete, fifth, a snow flake ice, sixth, a blue ball electricity, seventh, a miniature sun fire. And with one quick motion I closed my fist.
"Be prepared Cinder, because when I find you...you'll wish you stayed back at Curdin Cay."
