"Alright, so I think we should split up," said James, and everyone nodded at his words. "Fabian, Remus, Lily, and me get Jazz and Cherry, while Sirius, Alice, Peter, and Gideon keep lookout, and pretty much hex everyone that gets in our way." More head nodding followed.

"The problem is, we don't know where they are, and how to get out of Hogwarts." Silence filled the room.

"Maybe...we could eavesdrop on a teacher?" offered Peter. Fabian, James, Gideon, and Sirius looked at each other and nodded.

"Who should go?" asked Remus. James tapped his chin.

"I'm thinking...Gideon, Lily, and Sirius."

"Great!"

"Awesome!"

"If I have to," said Lily. "But only for Jazz and Cherry." The three walked off, leaving the rest of them debating on how to escape the boundaries of Hogwarts. As they turned the corner, Lily felt a wave of uncomfortableness wash over her. Here she was, Lily Evans, breaking the rules. Merlin, what would her mother say?

Gideon put a finger to his lips, as they neared Dumbledore's study. The faint voices could be heard through the door. The three leaned in, not wanting to miss a word.

"...but our best guess is the basement of Borgin and Burkes," Dumbledore was saying. Someone let out a gasp.

"Oh Albus, surely you don't mean Knockturn Alley?"

"I'm afraid so, Minerva."

"And if they were to escape..." said a squeaky voice. Lily assumed that the voice belonged to Professor Flitwick. Dumbledore sighed.

"Well, that would be most fortunate, as they could simply run to Diagon Alley to call for help." The three exchanged glances. They had heard what they needed to. Gideon motioned for Lily and Sirius to follow him, leaving the adults to their conversation. When they reached the common room, five faces looked up. Gideon cleared his throat.

"They're in Knockturn Alley." Alice groaned. James and Sirius looked thoughtful.

"So we know where they are. Now how on earth are we supposed to get to Diagon Alley?" said James. Silence enveloped the eight.

"Er...the train?" said Peter. Sirius sighed.

"That would be a good idea, but holidays aren't for over a month, and we can't wait that long."

"Ask someone to apparate us there?"

"Honestly, have any of you read Hogwarts, a History? You can't apparate in and out of Hogwarts!" said Lily.

"Wait a minute," started Remus. "People can't use apparation in Hogwarts, but house-elves can."

"That's true! That creepy man's elf could do it! Great idea Remus!" exclaimed James.

"Perfect!" declared Sirius. Lily shrugged.

"Worth a try, I suppose."

"One problem. We don't know any house-elves," countered Peter. Fabian and Gideon grinned.

"Correction. You don't know any house-elves. We've been down to the kitchens a million times, so we're buddies with a few." james and Sirius's eyes grew wide.

"WHAT? Oh please. tell us where to find it!"

"We'll do absolutely anything!" Fabian shook his head.

"Sorry, my friends, but a trip to the food place, needs to be done by yourself." Sirius pouted, and James stuck his tongue out at the twins.

"You won't even give us a hint?" tried Sirius. Gideon shook his head.

"Not even a teeny one?"

"A teeny weeny one?"

"A tiny winy one?"

"A teeny weeny teeny one?"

"A tiny winy tiny one?"

"Shut up!" yelled Lily. James and Sirius simply looked at her.

"Oh Lil, you should know that we'll never shut up!" cried Sirius dramatically. Lily rolled her eyes.

"Obviously. But we kind of have more important things to do right now, smart ones! I mean, really!"

"Really, really?"

"Really, really, really?"

"Really, really-"

"SHUT UP!"

"We got that message," said James cheekily. During this, Remus, Fabian, ALice, Gideon, and Peter were trying their hardest not to laugh at James and Sirius's working attempts to infuriate Lily.

"Guys, um, I think we should probably work on how to get out of here," said Peter softly. James mumbled something incoherent, and Sirius nodded. He gave Lily a pointed look, and she huffed.

"Fine," she said. The children sat in silence for a while. Remus tilted his head.

"Hogsmeade." Gideon looked at him.

"What about it?"

"There are no magical boundaries surrounding Hogsmeade as there are Hogwarts. If we can get there, we can leave no problem!"

"That is brilliant!" said Fabian. Gideon frowned.

"Yeah, but then how do we get from Hogsmeade, to Diagon Alley?"

"Brooms?" offered James.

"That's a brilliant idea, mate!"

"I can't ride!"

"Me neither!"

"Not bad, James!"

"I refuse to get on a death trap!" James waved away all the concerns.

"First of all, who's a good flyer?" The twins and Sirius raised their hands. "Remus, raise your hand!" barked James.

"No way! I'm not a good flyer!" he argued. James sighed.

"Just because you're not a good Quidditch player, doesn't mean you are not a good flyer! Now raise your hand!" ordered James. Remus raised his hand in defeat.

"Alright, so there are five of us who are good flyers, and three of us need to ride with one of us-"

"Question," interrupted Peter. "Why can't we just split four and four?"

"Because that way, if something goes wrong, we have five ways to go get help?" explained James. Remus looked at his friend in surprise.

"Good thinking, James," he praised.

"Well, I'm just that awesome!" boasted James. Lily rolled her eyes.

"Sure you are," she said sarcastically.

"About time you noticed," he retorted.

"Oh you arrogant-"

"Guys!" yelled Remus. "I understand your undying hatred for each other, but can't you not bicker later? We're trying to do something!"

"Sorry," apologized Lily.

"I'm not," said James proudly. Fabian stifled a laugh at the stubborn kids.

"Okay, so how on earth do we get to Hogsmeade without anyone noticing?" said Sirius. Fabian and Gideon grinned at each other.

"Well, it just so happens-"

"That we know almost every-"

"Secret passageway to Hogsmeade," they finished together. James's moth dropped open, and Sirius mock-fainted dramatically. Remus and Lily exchanged glances, and Lily rolled her eyes at him. Remus looked at his friends, who were currently doing a slightly delusional victory dance.

"Okay," continued Remus, trying to pretend that James and Sirius were not doing the disco behind him. "We've got something of a plan. Any items we should carry along in case of an emergency?"

"Wands, brooms, maybe some money just in case, probably a few healing potions too," said Lily. Fabian nodded.

"We've been hurt a few times more than necessary, and know a couple good healing spells, so the potions won't be needed. Otherwise, great list, Lily," praised Gideon. Lily blushed, and Remus smiled at her, making her blush even more. She really needed to get that under control. James, who had sat down, exhausted from his dance, accioed a small, navy blue bag.

"We can use it to store the stuff, and I can use a charm to make it feather-light," he informed them. Remus nodded absentmindedly.

"Maybe we should get going," said Remus. Fabian summoned the rest of the objects, and packed them into the bag. James stood up.

"I'm gonna go get the brooms." He left, ruffling his hair once more. While they waited, Remus tapped his foot on the ground of the Wing, and Lily twirled a strand of her hair impatiently. Fabian and Gideon drummed their fingers in an echoing pattern. When James returned, the twins stood up, and everyone else followed suit. Gideon nodded at his brother.

"Let's go."

"It's really dark in here," said Peter nervously. Remus and Sirius glared at him.

"It's for our friends, and that makes it worth it." Peter squeaked at Remus's tone. Remus sighed.

"Sorry, Pete. I'm just nervous, I suppose." Peter nodded, as James groaned.

"How many bloody stairs is this tunnel?" he whined. Gideon laughed.

"Not much more, I promise."

"Remember our first time through this one, Gid? We thought it would never end!"

"Yup, I remember. We were so tired after." Sirius moaned.

"This is taking forever," complained Sirius. Suddenly, a light shone on the kids, from above. "Finally! We're here! Thank Merlin!" The first years, who had not been to HOgsmeade, looked around in wonder, at the basement of Honeydukes Sweet Shoppe.

A/N: Yes, I know this sucks. I had writers block, so this chappie turned out really short. Thank God for no Homework over Thanksgiving break! Otherwise, I'd be dead. As a doornail! Thanks so much for all the reviews! Please review!

Lots of love,
