"I don't like being alone, I miss my friends and we were going to explore the galaxy together but the HE ruined everything." Rocket said sniffling while in the ship he'd escaped the lab from as he'd been thinking about his friends a lot wishing they were here right now hearing their voices which surprised the male-kit hugging them crying in joy making Lylla, Teefs and Floor chuckle.
"We missed you too, now we can explore and have adventures like we planned." Lylla said to him as he yawned, he was very tired which they sensed seeing Lylla place a paw gently on Rocket's furry head as being Rocket's Guardians of Imagination, they could lessen the fear he was feeling possibly from what the HE had did to them hearing Rocket whimpering.
"It's okay, sleep as we've got you." Teefs whispered to him seeing Rocket out like a light seeing Lylla lie beside the male-kit on his bed which was big seeing Teefs and Floor join them, which reminded them of old times growing up in the lab at night seeing a smile on Rocket's face in sleep.
"Yep, we're gonna be his for life compared to other Guardians." Lylla said to them.
"Yeah but it'll be fun." Teefs said yawning as he and Floor fell asleep too.
"You alright, Rocket did you have a bad dream." Lylla asked Rocket worriedly as it was morning but he was awakened by the kits biting his furry toes making her, Teefs and Floor laughing seeing this sweet scene but the kits were curious as they could see them but Rocket grinned seeing them leave him alone but cuddling Lylla making him grin.
"Thanks guys, as these guys get energetic after waking up like biting my furry toes." he told her.
"You're welcome buddy and they're adorable Rocket." Teefs replied to him making him blush, getting breakfast ready for them, making faces so they'd eat which Lylla, Teefs and Floor fouhd hilarious despite having food on his pyjamas because some of the kits played with their food hearing Floor giggle.
"They're just being playful just like us at their age." Lylla told Rocket hearing knocking on the door making the kits excited sighing as he answered seeing Nebula making him wonder, if things were okay holding Lylla's paw unaware Nebula could see them staring at them seeing the kits huddle around her legs.
"Rocket… is everything okay as Kraklin was telling me how things were going." she told him.
"Yeah everything's okay, just hanging out with these guys and my special friends." he replied seeing Teefs grin at this, as Rocket saw a girl that looked like Nebula but little
"She's been following me and saying I'm her Guardian of Inagination." Nebula told him.
"She doesn't want me around, but I need your help to convince her." she told him.
"We'll help you out kid." Rocket told her, seeing Lylla, Teefs and Floor nod naming her Nebs making the little blue-skinned girl smile stunning Nebula
