Sorry for the delay guys but My final exams are coming up in a few months so expect updates to thin out a bit until then, but anyway let's get this thing going.

It was another foggy morning when Kidou walked down to the old dock house. The second away team had already arrived and he wanted to make sure they were prepared. It was only yesterday that the first away team had been sent out.

"It really is going fast..." He thought to himself "Hopefully we can win this quicker than we hoped."

He walked into the dock house to see a girl gently polishing a large silver scythe. She had two green ball-styled ponytails, a very light tan, dark brown eyes and looked to be 5 feet 2 inches tall. She wore a black dress that went down to her knees. Her foot was resting on a black bag that Kidou assumed was hers.
"Ah Kidou." She said looking up, "Did you come to see us off?" she asked kindly.

"Yes of course." he smiled. "You're Maliki Habakoro, one of Hakuryuu's students?" He asked, which she nodded in agreement to. He looked up again to see a boy leaning on a large crate in the back corner of the room. As he walked over to the boy, Maliki reached into her bag and pulled out two small knifes and slipped them into small sheaths near her waist inside her dress and then quickly followed Kidou without saying anything.

When they got closer to the boy, Kidou saw that he had pale skin, short silver hair that had two spikes that went down behind his ears and black eyes. He wore a black jacket with white, flame like markings on the sleeves, black jeans and black trainers. As Kidou kept looking the boy looked more and more familiar.

"Rida... Shinu." Kidou said slowly trying to remember, "Yeah that's it, Rida Shinu, the head tester for Afuro." Kidou said greeting the boy.

"Ah, nice to see you remember me Kidou Yuuto." the boy smiled.

"Err, sorry who is this?" Maliki asked confused.

"Oh sorry, this is Rida Shinu, the head tester for Afuro industries, one of the largest robot producing companies in all of Tarmina. I have been in partnership with that company for many years and I was one of the people who interviewed Rida for the job." Kidou explained. "So which one is this?" he asked, gesturing to the crate behind him.

"Oh that's just number 387, I've been testing it for a few weeks now." Rida answered.

"387, death reaper?" Kidou asked in confusion, "I thought it was still not ready for testing yet."

"Maybe you missed something while you've been on the island." a voice chirped up from behind. They turned to see a girl with scarlet red straight hair that was tied into a ponytail except the hair on the sides of her face, fair skin and purple eyes. She wore a dark red tunic with a red tank top underneath it, a pair of dark red pants and black boots that reached to her knees. She also wore a red rose jewel necklace and a tulip charm bracelet.

"Oh s...sorry for butting in but I over heard you and..." she stammered quietly.

"Oh no, it's quite alright... Erm." Kidou trailed off awkwardly.

"Hanaraki Akara." She replied.

"Well your probably right Hanaraki." Kidou said, still in thought. His thoughts were interrupted by another man entering the dock house.

"So it looks like you beat me too it Kidou." said Hakuryuu smiling. "Ah Maliki, good to see your ready to go."

"Yeah I'm just sad you didn't teach me about soul fusion." Maliki sighed.

"I told you it's not something I can teach you. You must learn it on your own." Hakuryuu laughed.

"Soul fusion?" Questioned Rida.

"Oh, it's a special ability of the Shawvana soul. It's where the persons soul aura combines with the weapon to empower it." Hakuryuu explained. "This sword is an heirloom that has been passed down through the Shawvana leaders for generations" he said whilst drawing his sword. "It is a replica of the first person to discover the soul fusion"

"When your done with your tea party, I would like leave for my mission." The group turned who this new voice belonged to. They saw a boy with short beige hair that was slightly separated into a scale pattern, he also had a muscular body. He wore a beige t-shirt, brown jeans and brown trainers.

"And you are?" Asked an irritated Rida.

"Sasori Tsume, oh great captain." said the boy, sarcasm clear in his voice. Rida was about to reply but Kidou stepped between them.

"Why don't you four get in the boat, we will load the last few items." He quickly said trying to avoid any arguments. The two boys glared at each other but silently got into the boat followed by the two girls.

"Is it too late to change the teams?" Kidou sighed when the group was out of ear shot.

Kagera woke up from what felt like an eternal sleep. It was only yesterday but it seemed like a lifetime that she and the other girls had arrived and unpacked everything from the boat. She stretched her legs over the side of herbed and looked around her room. The entire house was not actually in bad shape, it was quite large and the walls and flooring where in pretty good condition.

After much determination, she got out of her bed and got changed from her white T-shirt and black track pants to her normal clothes. As she made her way downstairs to the kitchen she heard sounds of humming and sizzling. She entered the kitchen to see Kofun bouncing around happily whilst making what looked to be pancakes.

"Morning Kofun." she said as she sat at the table.

"Oh morning Kagera-San!" the girl chimed happily "Do you want some breakfast? It's my famous super awesome pancake special!" Kofun said, bouncing up and down with glee.

"What's the difference between them and ordinary pancakes?" Kagera asked.

"I don't know but the super tasty!" she squealed.

"Okay, but just one." the girl laughed. When Kofun finished she brought Kagera's pancake over to her along with her own and two others for Edogawa and Shizuka.

"I don't know how you do it, Kofun." said Kagera between mouthfuls.

"Oh it's super easy, you just add milk to some flour and..."

"Not the pancakes, I mean how you stay so optimistic all the time." Kagera interrupted, "If I gave you a box, you would think there was a diamond ring or a fortune inside without a second thought."

"Well isn't that the best way to look at life? If you focus on the good, the bad just melts away" she answered cheerfully. Kagera was about to reply but the conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Shizuka and Edogawa.

"Morning you two, I made breakfast for everyone." Kofun greeted.

"You didn't burn anything did you?" Shizuka panicked.

"Calm down Shizuka-San, you've been worrying ever since we got here" Kofun laughed

"Sorry, my mum always said I worried to much." she chuckled as the group tucked into their breakfast.

The group quickly finished their breakfast and gathered outside about thirty minutes later.

"Okay team, we'll split up and scout around the area, meet back here in about thirty minutes. Any questions?" Kagera said to the assembled group

"Are we sure this is safe? What if one you gets hurt?" Shizuka panicked.

"Stop worrying Shizuka-San, we'll be fine" Kofun reassured drawing a shaky nod from Shizuka.

"Okay let's go" Kagera said as the the group quickly dispersed.

Shizuka was walking through the forest on the island alone for what felt like twenty minutes.

"Looks like there's nothing here." she thought to herself. "I hope everyone else is ok." She continued walking until she reached a small clearing that seemed untouched by time. "I should start walking back"

"Oh, I didn't expect to see any of you here". Shizuka stiffened as she was surprised by the mysterious voice. She turned round to see a boy standing there wearing a green cap and had brown hair with four green streaks on the right side.

"Wh...who are you?" Shizuka stammered.

"Oh how rude of me! Hazumi Yuuki, at your service." he said politely. She noticed that he had an insane looking grin on his face that seemed to never change.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, still scared of this new boy.

"Oh, I just came over to welcome you here on behalf of death soul."

"Death soul!" She shrieked, backing away from him.

"Whoa, slow down fingernails, I'm just here to talk." he said trying to calm her.

"Talk? About what?"

"About how you're being lied to, how your so called leaders are the ones driving this world into the ground."

"The leaders aren't the ones to blame. Death soul is the one that's causing all the trouble!" Shizuka argued.

"You see, that's where you and everyone else is wrong. The peace of this world has been broken much ages before we came into the light. The leaders needed someone to blame".

"No... No you're wrong, the leaders aren't like that!"

"Aren't they? Then let me ask you, why do you hate death soul? Why do you hate me?" He asked.

"Well... I..." Shizuka thought but couldn't find a true answer.

"Hahahah finally, you see the truth. This whole war is nothing but lies. The blind leading the blind." he laughed uncontrollably.

"No it's not like that. The leaders are trying to help!" she argued back.

"Help? Help who? This entire war all your doing is fighting for people you hardly know against people who don't know the identity of. You could be fighting against a child hood friend right now and not even realize". Shizuka slumped to the floor desperately trying to find answers but she couldn't think of anything.

"What do you want to achieve most during this war fingernails?" he asked.

"To... To protect my team mates..." she said quietly.

"So you want to protect people whom you've never met? Throw your life away to save someone you were just told to protect?"

"Just stop!" She screamed, tears starting to well up in her eyes. "Stop asking me these questions that I don't have answers to!" she stared at the ground until she saw a shadow appear in front of her. She looked up to see Hazumi extending his arm outwards her.

"Then join me. Come with me to death soul". She looked up, his face still bared the same maniacal grin but she saw some sincerity in it. She was about to grab his hand but the emptiness of the clearing was shattered by a shout.

"Shizuka, are you here?" The shout sounded familiar and close by. After a few seconds Edogawa, Kagera and Kofun burst into the clearing to see the two.

"Shizuka, what's going on? Who is he?" Kagera asked worried.

"Sorry to interrupt your little mission ladies, but fingernails over here has decided to change teams and come back to death soul with me." Hazumi said still grinning.

"What?! Shizuka is this true?" Kagera asked confused. "Don't listen to anything this guy has said! It's all lies!"

"Enough." Shizuka interrupted, standing up. "I want to go with him. I want to see what it's truly like over there."

"No... No don't listen to him, don't go with him." Kagera begged.

"Stop." Shizuka cried, her fingernails suddenly grew to the size of knife blades and turned metallic blue."I want to see this for my self."

"I think she has made her decision." Hazumi said reaching into his pocket "And I recommend you respect that." he laughed as he some smoke bombs on the ground which created a cloud of grew smoke that obscured him and Shizuka from the rest of the girls.

"Get back, it could be toxic!" Edogawa shouted as she went to take cover behind some trees. The other two girls followed and waited for a couple of seconds for the smoke to clear. When they checked back Hazumi and Shizuka had completely vanished.

"Dammit!" Kagera yelled as she slammed her hand into the side of a tree. "Get the leaders immediately, this is bad!"
