The next day, the herd had woken up from where they had slept at the blocked passage. Kron was now standing on the first set of rocks forming a set of natural stairs with Neera beside him, preparing the herd to start climbing. "We have to keep trying. Our survival, our future, is over these rocks. Now, let's go home!" yelled Kron. He turned to start climbing, but the rest of the herd were too exhausted to keep on going.

Many of them wanted to stop for good. Kron looked back and saw what was going on. He noticed that they were refusing to go on and were all groaning in tired tones. He looked down at Neera, and she looked up at him along with the two Iguanodon hatchlings. But there was no way her brother would let them stop here. He started to approach the brother and sister. "You'll make it, won't you children?" said Kron as he nudged them to go on, only he did it roughly.

"No!" said Neera, shocked. "Watch them! They're tough!" said Kron, looking at her. Then he yelled out to the herd. "If they can do it, so can you!" the herd leader yelled. His sister looked down at the herd, and she was shocked to see that they were starting the climb. Neera wanted to protect the herd, but her brother continued to ignore her. She looked back at Kron, and he nodded with a "That's better" look on his face.

He was about to start up, when... "Kron!" yelled a voice that she thought she would never hear again. "Kron! Hold it!" came another voice. "Wait!" added a third voice. Neera gasped as Aladar and the heroes finally raced into view and halted the entire herd. They were out of breath, but they were determined to speak their piece. "Get the herd out of here! A carnotaur is coming!" warned Aladar. "And so are the Dark Elite and the Black Wolves!" warned Jack.

The herd were clearly startled and there was a murmur among them. They looked up at Kron, now aware of the situation. "Keep moving!" he ordered. "Stop!" yelled Aladar. "We've been to the valley! There's a safer way!" he continued. "We speak the truth! You MUST listen!" added Twilight. The herd was surprised again and they looked up at Kron once more. But as he had done so throughout the journey, he still refused to listen to them.

"Go on! Show 'em!" said Kron as he pushed the Iguanodon hatchlings with his snout. "Kron, listen to them!" argued Neera, trying to get her brother to listen. "Look, we gotta go now!" yelled Tyne. "Go where? Straight to the Carnotaur? And this Dark Elite and these Black Wolves you speak of?" demanded Kron. "If we hurry, we can get around them!" yelled Cynder. "You can't get over those rocks!" roared Kujenga.

"She's right! There's a sheer drop on the other side!" added Spyro. Now reaching the boiling point, Kron shoved the hatchlings forward to get them to start climbing. The young Iguanodons cried out in pain as they nearly fell off the rock thanks to his rough shoving. "You're gonna kill the herd!" yelled Aladar angrily. "We know a way to the valley, and everyone can make it! Now, follow us!" Now growling in fury, Kron lunged towards them with murder in his eyes.

"Kron!" said Neera, trying to stop him. But he knocked her aside and jumped down from the rocks. "THEY'RE STAYING WITH ME!" yelled Kron. Looking back with a glare, the heroes rolled their eyes at him, turned their backs to and continued to walk away. "All right. Let's go!" said Zack. Becoming furious, Kron growled as his eyes locked on to Aladar and the heroes. With a roar, he charged straight at them. "Look out!" Blue's warning came a few seconds too late.

While many of them got out of the way, Aladar wasn't so lucky. The herd leader grabbed hold of him by the neck and forced him to the ground. Struggling wildly, Aladar managed to fling Kron off of him to the side. in a cloud of dust. As they got up, Neera stared at them for a few moments with wide eyes. Then she moved quickly down the rocks and pushed her way between two Iguanodons so that she could get a better look.

Off to both sides, the heroes wanted to intervene, as they all knew that in a fight for leadership like this, it was often always a fight to the death. Even though they didn't like it, they knew that they had to respect the fact that this was their friend's fight. Snarling, Kron charged at Aladar once, but the latter was quicker. Using his head, he jabbed Kron in the chest on the right-hand side.

This move knocked the wind out of him and made his opponent crash to the ground. Kron grunted before he swept dust up into Aladar's face, blinding him. "Ahh!" was the cry that the latter made as he tried to clear his vision. Aladar growled as he tried to see. Using this, Kron slashed at them with one of his thumb spikes, slashing across his chest, leaving an open wound. To this credit, all the young Iguanodon did in response to the pain was grit his teeth.

"Aladar!" yelled Jack. Seeing this, Kron got up and tail-whipped Aladar, delivering a heavy blow to them and knocking against the wall of the canyon, scattering some Microceratus, leaving him in a daze. The latter looked up in time to see his foe rear up on his hind legs. He knew from an instantaneous glance that his foe was going to kill him. Just as Kron raised his thumb spike with a roar, Crusher suddenly grabbed hold of him by the neck.

Like the T-Rex had done back at the lake, he shook the herd leader like a ragdoll. Then, in an incredible display of strength, Crusher flung the Iguanodon across the width of the canyon to where he slammed into the ground. Silence prevailed as Kron got to his feet and looked up to see the carnivore standing protectively in front of Aladar. "I said I'd kill you if you tried anything," the T-Rex growled.

"But you're not worth the effort. I won't stain my teeth with your foul flesh." For a moment Kron was rooted. Clearly he was remembering what had happened the last time he had heard those words. Suddenly he let out a snort and shook his head before growling. "He can't be serious," Starlight whispered. "He's not serious," Tyson whispered back. "He's gone crazy." To the shock and amazement of the heroes, Kron lunged forward at Crusher.

But he had barely moved before Neera and Broken Jaw slammed into him from the side and knocked him to the ground once more.. Silver stood beside them with his hands glowing and ready. The Allosaurus snarled at Kron as he lay there. To say that he was shocked by what had happened, mostly at what his sister had done, would be an understatement. As for Neera, she had had enough of her brother's attitude.

Breathing deeply, she turned and headed towards Aladar. Broken Jaw snarled at Kron once again before he and Silver followed his sister over. "Is he alright?" asked the hedgehog as he and the Allosaurus approached. Peter examined the wound. "It's alright. It's just a scratch. He can walk," he said with a smile. Neera supported Aladar as he weakly got up. As Crusher also helped Aladar out, they all started to walk away, with Neera beside them.

Kron could not believe what had just happened. Shocked and stunned, he called to his sister to come back. "NEERA!" His yell echoed around the canyon. But she ignored him and continued on, forcing Kron to watch his beloved sister go. Tobern turned and looked at Kron. He huffed with contempt, then continued to walk away with the others. As they walked away, the herd began to follow them, heading back toward the caves and the newly opened path to the Nesting Grounds.

As Neera walked beside Aladar, she began to nuzzle her head lovingly against his, a gesture he returned. The heroes all smiled, happy that their friend had finally got the girl. But then, they were halted by the sudden roar from up ahead. Everyone gasped when they heard it too as they realized that they had been too late. Jake had caught up with them. A few minutes after the roar had died down did they hear footsteps approaching.

Then they finally saw Jake, the Dark Elite, Black Wolves and the Carnotaur appearing around the corner, heading towards them. The herd started to panic as they approached them. "They led those monsters right to us! This way!" yelled Kron as he once again started climbing the rocks. Driven by fear, the herd began turning around to follow him. "No! Don't move! If we scatter, they'll pick us off! Stand together!" yelled Aladar.

"Aladar's right! Stand your ground!" yelled Jack as he took his battle stance. Upon sighting the heroes, Jake began to laugh while the Carnotaur growled. "Finally! We've tracked you for days, and here you are! You are mine now, brother!" he called. "Jake," the leader of the Fiery Five growled along with the rest of the Northlanders. "Now there is nowhere to go! You're trapped!" the dark dragon continued.

"So you're Jake!" said Twilight, her horn lit up and her wings spread wide. The dragon looked over at her and chuckled. "Ahh, the Princess of Friendship! To tell you the truth, I was expecting you to be more... royal, if you will," he said. "You and your friends are even nastier and uglier than I expected!" growled Ruby. "Hmph! Brat!" spat Edmund. "Jack and the Fiery Five have told us all about you, Jake!" said Kujenga.

"And we're not going to let you destroy this world like you've tried to do to the Northlands in Elledtharion," declared Cynder. Jake only laughed. "You foolish girl, I'm not going to destroy this world. I'm going to conquer it instead! And then rebuild it as my own!" roared the dragon. "Well we're going to stop you! We're tired of running from you!" yelled Spyro with determination. "Good... It shall make your deaths quicker and painless!" said Tom, the black and purple dragon.

"Ha! Good luck with that, Jake! We'll take your minions down and be right on you, like white on rice in a snowstorm!" stated Rainbow Dash. Instead of a verbal response, Jake only smirked before he started laughing evilly, louder and louder. "What's so funny?!" demanded Cyra. "You fools! Do you really think that you can defeat me? In fact, you are already doomed!" he yelled. The Troopers began to release a cacophony of bellowing roars and screams.

Then they began to either hit their own chest plates with their mailed fists, bang their falchions on their shields or stamp their feet on the ground. For their part, the Hellhounds began to snarl, growl, bark or howl, adding their own verses to the chorus of evil. Those herd members closest to Aladar, Neera and the heroes began to shake in terror in response to the orc's noise.

Despite their brutal savagery, if there was one thing that could be commended about the Troopers it was their decision to engage in psychological warfare by demonstrating how much they outnumbered the defenders. Their tactic and the herd's reaction to it reminded Zack of a quote by Sun Tzu's - One need not destroy one's enemy, one need only destroy his willingness to engage. "Well, you and your cronies have found us! Let's settle this!" yelled Jack.

"I was hoping you'd say that!" smirked Jake. Then he roared a command into the air to the Black Wolves and the Carnotaurus. "Kill them all, leave no-one standing!" he ordered. Letting out war cries, the Troopers and Hellhounds charged at them. Indominus, Indoraptor and the Carnotaur roared to the heavens before all three charged after them. "Elledtharion!" yelled Jack as he charged forwards.

"ATTACK!" roared Kujenga. "We'll deal with Jake and the Dark Elite!" yelled Zack. "Then the rest of us will handle the Black Wolves!" Crusher yelled in response. Then all of the heroes collided against the Rebel horde. Frost, Tyne and Tyson barrelled through, running over them and knocking them down like bowling pins. Tobern tore apart two Troopers with a heavy blow while Rexy stamped down on them with her great weight and Spyro and Cynder used their breath attacks against them.

Blue engaged against Indoraptor who leapt at her with his killing claws deployed. But the Deinonychus dodged his attack as Broken Jaw darted in, skidded to the side slightly and, using his tail, swept the hybrid's legs out from under him, tripping him up. The hybrid slammed into the ground in a cloud of dust. As all this was happening, Jack and Jake were finally engaging in battle, circling each other, waiting for the other to make a move.

"Well, we meet again, brother!" smiled the latter. "I'm going to make you pay for what you have done!" growled the former. "Ah, eager for vengeance, are we? Very unlike you. But... Well... We all have something on our minds at one point," replied Jake. "Then how about you shut up and we finish what we started back in our own world!" Jack snarled in answer. "There's no escape this time!" growled the Black Wolves Leader.

Then he lunged at Jack, aiming for his neck. But the blue and red dragon jumped aside, easily avoiding it. Jake charged at him again with the pair locking their heads and horns together in a power struggle. "You won't kill anyone else this time!" declared Jack. "I don't need to! It's just you I want dead!" roared Jake and slashed at him with his claws, but Jack dodged, spun quickly around, and slashed the other across the chest, leaving a trio of cuts.

Jake stumbled back a little and looked down at the light wounds on his chest scales. He chuckled. "Hm, impressive!" he said with a smirk. "I've learned many things since we last met, brother," Jack replied. "That won't save you this time!" the other roared. "Never thought I'd say it, but I've been looking forward to this!" snarled the leader of the Fiery Five. "I'm sure you have," Jake answered before charging at him.

Weiss did a flip-kick, knocking back and slashing at Trooper before turning to the others. She blocked one of them with her sword before stabbing it in the chest. Then she was approached by another. The Huntress struck at him, but he backhanded her. She fell to the ground, but rolled out of the way before the Sharpclaw brought his sword down on her. Team RWBY's defacto second-in-command got up and roundhouse-kicked him in the face.

The Trooper, stunned, reeled back. Weiss lunged forward and thrust her sword forward at him. But it misses mere inches to the right. He looked and then laughed at her. "Ha! You missed me!" the Trooper laughed. "Only ONCE, pal!" said the Huntress. She twirled herself around thrusting forward again and it pierced into his brain, killing him. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were backed up together as the Black Wolves surrounded them.

"Just like old times, eh AJ?" the former said to the latter. "You betcha Rainbow!" the latter said with a wink. "Well, only one thing to do!" Rainbow Dash nodded and they both went into their respective combat stances. Then the Troopers and Hellhounds charged. But Rainbow Dash and Applejack, despite being outnumbered, were more than ready for them, easily defeating them using different attack styles.

Rainbow and Applejack shot towards one Trooper with hooves raised and kicked him into a group of his comrades. Twilight, Starlight and Rarity shot several Hellhounds with their magic, when they were attacked by a Hellhound from their right which pinned the three to the ground. Naturally all three were paralyzed with fear as the monstrous canine snarled at them. "HELP!" they screamed.

Their cry for help was answered as Ribo and Cyra slammed into the Hellhound from the side before bathing it in a combined flood of fire. It howled in pain before turning and running away down the canyon. Blue and Broken Jaw were still fighting Indoraptor when all three of them were forced to step back as Rexy and Indominus Rex nearly crushed them both as the two carnivores were locked into combat before the latter knocked the former into the wall of the canyon.

She charged forward, but Rexy moved out of the way in time, forcing the white hybrid to slam into the rock. Indominus stepped back a few paces and shook her head in order to clear her vision before rounding on the T-Rex once again. "I will have you dead!" she growled. "Heard that before," scoffed Rexy. Her nemesis rushed forward to strike again, but this time, she slammed her head into the Tyrannosaur's chest, forcing her backwards and knocking her down to the ground.

As expected, Rexy fell hard and looked up at Indominus as she approached, claws ready to slash open her throat. "How many times will you never learn that when it's jaws to arms, you lose," answered the latter. "More than you will," replied the former, bravely. "Your arms may give you an advantage, true... but not when there's two of us!" Before Indominus could react Crusher grabbed her by the neck and once again slammed her into the rocky wall of the canyon.

Rexy, meanwhile, quickly got back on her feet as her mate doggedly grappled with the ferocious hybrid who struggled to free herself. "Alduin was slain long ago! I killed him with my own blade in Sovngarde!" she yelled before charging straight at Indominus Rex. At the last second, Crusher let go of her neck and it was now Rexy's turn to knock Indominus down to the ground with a loud and dusty impact once again.

On the other side of the battlefield, Ribo found himself facing down two Hellhounds. He growled at them, the glow of his purple Aether fire ready to fry one or both of them, as, out of the corner of his peripheral vision, a third moving in to pounce on him from behind. Before the two in front could jump on him though, Tobern rammed into them and sent them flying.

The Dire Bear gave him a smile which Ribo returned before he whirled round to face the third canine before he slashed the cryptid across the nose and muzzle with his claws, leaving bloody scratches and sending him scrabbling back in pain. White Tip let out a gasp before she ducked down to avoid another Hellhound who took a swipe at her. A furious growl from her left made her look round in time to see a second one leaping at her from the right, aiming to grab the velociraptor in its jaws.

She ducked down again and the canine went crashing into the first one and sending both of them rolling over the ground. Back with Jack and Jake, the latter grabbed the former by the neck and threw him in the direction of the wall. The blue and red dragon dug his claws in, gouging out deep grooves into the dust and rock, and swung back at his brother figure, but the brown and gold dragon avoided the attack.

"This is getting to be very annoying!" growled Jake. "Ha! I'm just getting started!" Jack replied with a smirk. In response, Jake snarled and lunged forward, knocking the leader of the Fiery Five onto his back and bit at him, but Jack kicked him off and knocked him back. Jake lunged at him again, but Jack dodged him and reared up on his hind legs and slashed at the other leader's face with his claws.

The leader of the Dark Elite roared in pain and then bit down into Jack's back, before using his weight to toss him aside. Jack quickly got up from the pain of being bit and he rammed his head to Jake's and they once engaged in a power struggle. The latter won and knocked Jack to the ground and lunged at him, but the blue and red dragon rolled away and horse kicked him in the face. He quickly followed this up by charging forward and slammed him to the ground.

They then engaged in another power struggle and tussled around as they attacked each other until Jake landed a heavy blow with his right forepaw and knocked Jack down onto his side. A fire in his eyes, Jake lunged forward, raised his claws and slashed down the blue and red dragon's shoulder. "AHHH!" His yell of pain echoed around the canyon walls. Jake raised his paw up once again, ready to kill Jack only for someone to stab him in the shoulder.

"Arrgghh!" he growled as he held his shoulder. Jake looked up to see Weiss, holding her sword and standing protectively in front of her friend. For the moment the brown and gold dragon was stunned before he began to laugh at her. "Well, well, well, here to witness me killing the leader of the Northlands?" he asked. "No. I'm here to kill you," the Huntress growled. "A girl wishes to fight me all by herself? In spite of my reputation? Don't make me laugh!" Jake said in a mocking tone.

"Then face me then, unless you're a coward!" Weiss shot back, leveling her sword while her blue eyes blazed. "If you want him, come and claim him." "I see. So not only will I kill my brother, but also one of his friends!" the other said with a smirk. Weiss charged at him. Jake swung his claws at her, but she ducked and struck him in the side with her weapon. He growled and swung at her once again, but Jack grabbed hold of his neck and used his weight to force him to the ground.

The Huntress roundhouse-kicked him in the gut while the leader of the Fiery Five continued to hold on to his neck. As Aladar and Neera watched the battle, the Carnotaur started charging towards them and the herd. In a bold move, the former moved forward and began roaring at him. The carnivore slowed down and stopped whilst beginning to roar at him as well. This was a match of who was more determined than the other.

But it was clear that Aladar couldn't win without any help, as the Carnotaurus growled and roared at him. Then, Neera sprang to her mate's side, joining him in roaring at their foe, and before anyone else knew it, the entire herd had quickly joined them. Somewhat overwhelmed, the Carnotauru began to back away, losing as the herd advanced on him. Seeing this as an opportunity, Aladar and Neera knew that they had to help the others. "The others need our help!" cried the latter.

"Come on! Let's help the others! Charge! yelled Aladar and the entire herd roared into the fight. The Troopers and Hellhounds heard and then saw the herd stampeding towards them, and they were shocked. This proved to be a huge mistake. The Pachyrhinosaurs and the Styracosaurus charged at the horde with their horns present and either trampled or rammed them down, the Iguanodons cut them down with their thumb spikes while the Pachycephalosaurus head-butted them.

The heroes saw that the herd was helping and they all cheered loudly. "To victory!" yelled Zack. "TO VICTORY!" yelled the heroes. And so, the heroes, with the dinosaurs joining in the fight, began to cut swathes out of the Black Wolves. Many of them then started running for their lives. "Retreat! Retreat!" yelled one of the orcs. "Let's get out of here!" yelled a Hellhound. Jack and Weiss were still fighting Jake when he saw that the majority of his troops were retreating.

"No. NO! Get back here, you fools!" the dragon yelled at his soldiers. "It's over, Jake! You've lost this battle!" declared Jack. "NO! THIS IS FAR FROM OVER!" roared Jake and struck them at again, only harder and faster than before. But this was a big mistake. Jack slashed him in the face while Weiss slashed him in the shoulder. The two looked at each other and nodded. Then the former let out a stream of fire while the latter unleashed a wave of ice magic from her sword.

Both attacks struck Jake head on with full force, sending him flying into the canyon wall. He collided with the rock and fell heavily to the ground, panting, but not defeated. Meanwhile, Peter, Zack, Willam, and Ryan were still fighting the remaining members of the Dark Elite. While the leaders of the Black Wolf Rebellion fought with the brutish force that they were well known for the Fiery Five were slowly winning the fight.

Peter was duking it out with Edmund and the red and yellow dragon was giving his counterpart a good run for his money. Despite still feeling the wounds he had sustained back at the lake begin to sting a little in protest, Zack fought like he didn't have them, biting down onto the red dragon's shoulder while the other slashed claws down his side as he held on. William, with help from Ryan, was also handling Tom and Gharg.

"Keep them apart!" the former yelled, quickly releasing that the duo could only win by fighting each of their foes one-on-one without help from the other. Tom let loose a wave of fire at William, but he rolled to the side, dodging it, before leaping forward, and with a yell, barreled into the black dragon who roared in pain as he was knocked to the ground. Ryan lunged at Gharg and managed to latch on to the Hellhound's throat. Gharg roared as he tried to shake the purple and yellow dragon off.

In response, Ryan stabbed his tail into the canine's right forepaw. The Hellhound howled in pain, and suddenly reared up, launching Ryan into the air and he crashed down onto the ground. Dazed, the dragon staggered to his feet, shaking his head to get over the dizziness he was suffering from. This proved to be a near fatal moment for him. Before he knew what was happening, Gharg had slammed him back down into the dust. Now he stood over him, teeth bared and his red eyes gleaming.

"This is how it ends," Gharg growled. Ryan struggled as much as he could, but the massive canine easily held him down. He reared his head back, ready to strike. But before Gharg could deliver the blow that would send him to his death, like a guardian angel sent from Heaven, a figure appeared out of nowhere, latching itself onto the Hellhound's shoulders, viciously biting and clawing at the savage dog's neck.

At this unexpected attack, Gharg roared in pain, struggling to shake off his new attacker, and taking his mind off Ryan completely. With one last ounce of strength born out of sheer desperation, the dragon reached up. Biting down, he tore away a piece of fur from the Hellhound's neck, eliciting another roar of pain before a powerful shockblast sent him flying while the figure on his back nimbly jumped back and onto the ground.

Ryan watched Gharg crash to the ground before turning his head round to see Pod and Yang standing over and smiling down at him. The former's killing claws and mouth were stained with blood while the latter's gauntlets were smoking. Nodding his grateful thanks, the dragon got back to his feet. By now, nearly all of the Troopers and Hellhounds had fled back the way they had come, leaving only a few braver, or perhaps less sane, of their number to face the heroes.

"THIS ISN'T OVER BY ANY MEANS!" roared Jake, as he and the Dark Elite, Indominus Rex, Indoraptor and the remaining Black Wolves finally retreated. The heroes watched them as they fled before Jack raised his head high. "VICTORY!" he yelled. "VICTORY!" chorused everyone. They all cheered in celebration, having finally defeated the villains. The heroes were quick to rejoin their friends as the rest of the herd continued to roar at the Carnotaur, forcing it to back away.

"You think he'll try anything?" asked Spyro, looking over at the Carnotaur, but it just stood there looking at them, not even bothering to attack. "Forget it, he knows we're tougher than him. It won't bother us now," said Kujenga. As they started to escort the herd back the way that they had come, the Carnotaur growled but didn't attack. It had seen what the Multiverse Heroes were capable of. Unfortunately, the heroes had completely forgotten about one dinosaur in particular.

When the Carnotaur looked back at the rocks, he saw Kron trying to climb them. Growling, the Carnotaur charged after him. When Neera looked back, she saw the Carnotaur charge off down the canyon once again. With horrifying shock, she realized who, in all the excitement and action of the battle that they had forgotten about. Aladar, Jack, Peter, Kujenga, Cyra and Crusher noticed her reaction before the female Iguanodon charged off after the carnivore.

In an instant they too realised what was happening "It's going after Kron!" cried Cyra. Aladar grunted before he raced after Neera followed by the five heroes. They rounded the corner in time to see the Carnotaur headed towards Kron who was still climbing. "KRON!" yelled Neera. "Behind you!" yelled Peter. Kron looked down in time to see the Carnotaurus stomping up towards him. Snorting, he began to frantically climb faster, as the carnivore came closer, even falling down after stumbling over a loose rock.

As the young Carnotaur and the heroes climbed up after him. Kron made his way along another rock until he nearly fell right off the edge of it. He looked down to see a sheer drop below. Then he looked up, and was met with the sight of a sheer cliff wall. It stretched upwards to where he couldn't even see the top. There was now way out. "No!" Kron muttered, realizing that he was trapped. As the Carnotaur closed in on him snarling, the Iguanodon snorted as he prepared to fight back.

When it got close enough, Kron swung his tail at it, hitting it in the face and making it stumble back. Further down, the others were still climbing up and over the rocks, trying to reach him in time. "Come on! We have to hurry!" yelled Cyra. Kron prepared to swing at the Carnotaur again, but he dodged his tail and rammed his head into the herbivore's body, seemingly trying to force him over before he reared his head up and bit into his back.

Kron roared in pain before he was picked up and tossed him to a wall. The former herd leader was slammed against it and fell to the ground, as the Carnotaur roared at him. Kron weakly looked up, at what could very well be the last thing he ever saw. But before the juvenile carnivore could finish him off, Neera slammed into his flank. She tried to push it off of the edge, but the Carnotaur knocked her back against a nearby rock with his horns.

He pinned her down with his left foot, ready to kill, only for Aladar to swing his tail into his face and make him stumble backwards. Deciding to take a page from the herbivore's book, the Carnotaur swung his tail at the male Iguanodon, knocking him away as well. Just then, Crusher, who had finally made it up the rocks along with the others, charged onto the scene and roared loudly.

The Carnotaur roared back and charged at the T-Rex. He bit into his shoulder, but Crusher slammed his head into his foe's side, forcing him to let go and knocking him back before biting down on its neck with the other predator roaring in pain before letting go. Jack ran over, leapt into the air, and blasted his left eye with his fire, making the Carnotaur roar in pain once again, but still able to see with his right eye.

Peter and Cyra then appeared and shot their own fire at the Carnotaur's neck. Kujenga then unleashed her Roar, forcing him back even further. Using this time quickly, Aladar got back on his feet, let out a growl, and then rammed into the Carnotaur trying, like Neera had done before, to push it off and over the edge. Crusher whacked it in the face with his tail as Aladar almost pushed their foe off. "We almost pushed him off! Keep going!" yelled the lioness.

The Carnotaur growled at them as they slowly backed away, giving it the opportunity to regain some lost ground. Suddenly, the ground where the Carnotaur was standing began to break apart. Seemingly, in slow motion, the Carnotaur tries to take Aladar down with him, sinking its teeth into his back and attempting to pull the Iguanodon down. But the Carnotaur lost his grip and roared for the last time as he fell to his death.

Aladar grunted as he climbed back up, with the others coming to help him. "Hang on. We've got you," said Peter. Then they looked down to see a cloud of dust formed by the collapsing cliff. As it slowly cleared, they spotted the Carnotaur, now dead. "It's all over now," said Crusher. But Jack simply sighed. "What's the matter?" asked Kujenga. "The Carnotaur. He was as much a victim of this whole ordeal as we are," the dragon answered.

"Feel bad? That guy tried to kill us! He and his mother were on Jake's side," said Cyra. "No. Jack's right. They were predators, true, but all they were was trying to survive, just like the rest of us," said Peter, understanding what his friend was saying. "And he used them to do his dirty work," added Crusher. "Oh... I see..." Cyra said, now feeling both sad and a bit ashamed. "But now Jake nor anyone else can use them to do any more harm to anyone anymore," said Kujenga.

"Kron." Neera's soft voice got their attention and they looked over and saw the female Iguanodon approaching her brother, who was lying still. She nudged him gently, but he didn't move. Jack looked at Peter and nodded at him. Knowing what that nod meant, the red and yellow dragon walked over to look the male Iguanodon over. He placed his head against Kron's side and listened, but after a few moments he pulled his head back and shook it from side to side.

He turned and looked back at the others. "He's gone." That was all the dragon said. It was all he needed to say. Stunned by the news, everyone glanced at each other, saddened again at the news of another loss. Especially Neera. "Neera... We are so sorry," said Kujenga, quietly. "After all this time, we tried to help him. But in the end, it was his own stubbornness that got him killed," said Crusher softly. "If only he could have learned in time," muttered Cyra.

"I said he'd come to a bad end," said Peter. "I've said that before. But all I take away from it is guilt," the red and yellow dragon continued, looking at Kron's lifeless body. "What made the fool run?" "There was nothing we could have done," said Cyra simply.
