IM ALIVE!

That's everyone I'm back and after a long break (far to long sorry) this story is back :D
And what better way to return than a death soul chapter ^^
So without anymore delays lets get this thing going

It was just a few minutes after the in decent that kidou got the call. When he heard what had happened he called everyone on the island together instantly.

"What's all the commotion kidou, has someone been attacked?"Endou asked worried.
"What I tell you is extremely confidential and does not leave this room" he began, "I have just received word that Shizuka Sora from B team has... Has defected to death soul". The entire room fell into silence, like time stood still. No one spoke as none of them new what to say or do.
"Do we... Do we know where she is" Hakuryuu asked slowly
"No. All we know is that she was taken by some guy wearing a suit and had brown hair with green stripes" kidou answered bleakly. The simple answer however struck Arakida like a knife. She ran out of the room in tears, leaving the rest stunned. The meeting concluded a few moments later. Everyone left the room uneasy, not knowing how to act. Kylar left and started walking around the house, thoughts and what ifs being thrown around inside his head.
"Dammit, wish I could have been there" he thought to himself, "I could have saved her, even if she is a..." His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a sound from around the corner. He followed the noise until he found Arakida, sobbing to her self.
"Oh, it's you" she said looking up. The two just stopped and looked at each other in silence.
"A... Are you ok?" Kylar asked quietly. Arakida was about to answer but couldn't due to how she shocked she was. She didn't hear Kylar talk a lot, at all even.
"No, this is all my fault" she whispered, "that death soul guy talked to me before. If I had stopped him this wouldn't have happened" she admitted
"Why didn't you stop him?" Kylar asked, not angrily, more like he didn't know what else to say.
"Because... Because he scared me. There was something about him" she said quietly
"Then it's not your fault. That guy sounds like a monster, no use wasting time worrying about him" Kylar answered flatly and walked away. Arakida sat up, those simple words though awkward, felt touching.
"Maybe he's right" she thought to her self.

Shizuka awoke in an unfamiliar room. She tried to focus on her surroundings but the pain in her head made it almost impossible. She tried to think back but all she could remember was some weird smoke.
"About time you woke up finger nails" a voice from the other side of the room called. Shizuka looked and remembered everything. She saw the guy she ran away to death soul with, Hazumi Yuuki. That weird smoke must have been some kind of knock out gas. "Hello anyone home?" The boy asked sarcastically as he walked over to her. Shizuka looked up and saw that same psychopathic grin from before. As the pain in her head started to clear she looked around the room more. She noticed she was laying in a bed in a black room with little furniture. She looked ou of the window on the side of the room and saw that it was already dark.
"Did I sleep all day?"
"Yep, sure are a light weight aren't you" Hazumi laughed. Shizuka noticed that there was something different about him. The way he talked made it sound like he was secretly think of a mastermind scheme to kill you.
"So where are we" she asked
"Death soul HQ. where the hell else would we be?" He said laughing evilly
"But where is the HQ"
"Oh yeah, I'll just tell you the exact location of the secret base, nothing wrong with that" his tone was more cruel and serious but he still had the maniacal grin on his face.
"Oh.. Is it just us here?"
"How stupid are you? Do you honestly think a one man army will rule the world" he then just walked out the room, laughing insanely to himself.
"What have I gotten myself into" she thought. She got out the bed and stretched her legs slightly before walking out the black door. She found herself in a dimly lit black corridor with no sign of life. She cautiously walked down it, scared that anything or anyone could pop out at any second. After walking for only a few moments she heard quiet chatting coming from a nearby room. She slowly opened the door and was shocked to see a group of kids the same as her playing cards around a large wooden table. They fell silent when she entered and just looked at her. Shizuka was tempted to slowly back for the door until one of them spoke.
"You must be that new girl" a female voice called out. Shizuka looked at the source of the voice and found that it belonged to a girl with pale skin but fiery red, untamed hair that reached halfway down her back apart from some lost strands fall over her face and green eyes. She wore a sleeveless, wine-red shirt over khaki shorts and black sandals. On further inspection Shizuka noticed that her body was littered in old scars. "Want a hand?" she asked when Shizuka had sat down.
"Okay" she said sheepishly. After a few minutes of silently playing cards Shizuka spoke up again. "So are you the rest of the death soul members?"
"Well we're the fighters anyway" a different voice answered. This one belong to a boy who was tall but was bold. He had a bulky frame and wore a sleeveless grey vest shorts and trainers. He also had an old scar above his left eye. "The leaders are somewhere else in the HQ. you won't see them. I'm Mashino Heishi by the way".
"Why will I not see the leaders?"
"They don't like to show themselves" the girl answered, "I'm Bakemono Kiba" she finished. They continued again in silence until Shizuka spoke again "so... Why are you all here?". The entire group stopped for a second.
"Different reasons" Bakemono answered
"Well can I here them? We've got nothing better to do"
"We're here because of something that happened at our accedemy" Mashino spoke up.
"We?" Shizuka questioned.
"Oh, that's Tokage. He doesn't say much" he said pointing to the boy next to him. He had neck length black hair, a thin but tall frame and was wearing a black jacket wich was mostly zipped apart from near the top wear you could see a green shirt peeking out, black pants and and sneakers. He nodded at Shizuka without a word.
"So we where both in the same class at the accedemy" Mashino continued, "it started after a few weeks. Our teacher at the academy called a few of us into his office after hours and told us to do a couple of extra jobs for him. At first it was innocent, dropping of packages at houses, picking up the odd supplies for him but over time it got serious. He had us stealing, cheating, it was awful, no one liked it.
"Why didn't you stop?" Shizuka asked
"A few tried. It never ended well. A few days after they quit strange things started happening. Tests they thought that they passed they instead failed, there would be witnesses to fights you never had, things that you had never seen before would be reported stolen and end up in your room. He had us in his pocket and he knew that. It continued for a few weeks until that one night. He had us kill a couple to get some robot design. After that we couldn't take it anymore."
"What happened"
"We killed him" Tokage answered flatly.
"We kept the design and ran off, wanted criminals for crimes we never wanted to commit. After a few days on the run death soul found us two and gave us a new home safe from the law" Mashino finished.
"So... What about the rest of you?" Shizuka asked after a couple seconds of silence. The rest sighed, they new tonight would be a long night.

Well that's it (kinda)

I'm splitting this up into two shorter parts to avoid one massive chapter. (Plus it gets this out quicker and I fell les guilty)
Don't worry part 2 will be worked on double time to make up for this (hopefully)
