Yukina came home to Decker Village in order to find what she needed to beat Life Destroyer, but she learned that she has it all along. There was no secret. She just has to keep trusting her heart. When she realized that, she felt like herself again. Once that happened, she finally regrouped with her friends and they could all enjoy what Decker Village had to offer.
"Oh my gosh! This meat is so delicious!" Kent said as they were all having a little barbeque.
"Glad you like it. Help yourself." Hana said. The people of Decker Village even associated with them more now that they know they aren't the bad guys.
"No wonder Yukina always seemed so cheery. This place is awesome." Cindy said as they were certainly enjoying themselves.
"It's not too bad, I guess." Cray claimed. While they were all enjoying themselves, Yukina hung back with Hoiko.
"So, you feel better? Did you find what you were looking for?" Hoiko asked.
"Yeah. I never lost it. I just needed to remember some of the things Dad taught me." Yukina said. "Is that why you sent me up there even though you knew about the horrible things that place did to me?"
"I knew for you to conquer your demons, you had to face your demons at the origin." Hoiko said. "What happened to your father was tragic, and knowing Life Destroyer is loose is unsettling. However, we must progress."
"I will admit that I did get a little discouraged after Raika beat me. It made me forget some of the important lessons my dad taught me for a moment." Yukina claimed. "But now that I feel like myself again, I can just enjoy the duels again. Of course, it doesn't change anything with Raika, Diego, and the Black Ace."
"That's good to hear. They must still be dealt with." Hoiko said. "It also looks like you don't have to face this challenge alone." He said as they both stared at her friends. "You've certainly made some good friends considering they came all this way just to help you."
"Yeah... I guess I needed to realize that as well, but I don't want to drag them into this." Yukina said. "This is my fight. What they're getting into is dangerous."
"But the challenge you face ahead might be too big for you to handle alone." Hoiko said. "You might need allies to help you and it certainly seems like that's what you have." Yukina's starting to think that herself.
"Hey, Yukina! Come on and join the party!" Cindy called.
"She's right. Hurry up before Kent ends up eating everything." Felix said.
"Okay, I'm coming." Yukina said as she went and joined them.
"So, how are you feeling?" Felix asked.
"A lot better actually." Yukina said. "Look, I'm sorry I left and worried you guys. I guess all I really needed was to try and get back in touch with my roots or something."
"We get it, but please don't leave like that again." Cindy said.
"Enough with the sappiness." Cray said with annoyance. "We found her, she's fine again, so quit complaining and whining about it like a little baby."
"I'm not a baby! I'm just saying I missed her and was worried! Is that so wrong?!" Cindy said.
"Don't yell at, Cray!" Kent called. "You have to admit that you did act a bit like a big baby, Cindy!"
"Me?! Don't act like you wouldn't be the same when it came to Cray!" Cindy argued with them going back and forth like that again. As for Hana, she walked over and stood with Yukina.
"You've certainly met some interesting people, Yukina." Hana said.
"They're good people." Yukina said.
"So how do you think you feel about facing Raika? Are you still going to go after him?" Hana asked.
"I've got to." Yukina said as she hasn't lost sight of her mission. "Dad put his trust in me. He thinks I can stop Life Destroy and stop the Black Ace's plans. Besides, I owe those two some serious payback for what they did. I don't know if I'm strong enough to beat Raika now, but I can't let my fears stop me."
"Well, there is one way to see if you really ready to get back in the game." Hana suggested. Yukina didn't get it, but then she realized what she meant when she saw how Hana was smiling.
"Do you mean...? Just like old times. Is that right?" Yukina questioned with Hana confirming that they were on the same page.
"What are you two talking about?" Felix asked.
"Hana and I are about to duel." Yukina clarified with the other four surprised they were going to do that now.

Yukina and Hana were going to duel, but it wasn't going to be just any location. The two of them went up and stood on a plateau. As the two stood to face each other, her friends hung back and kept an eye on things.
"They're really dueling here?" Kent questioned.
"It's actually a nice place." Felix said. "Besides, the location doesn't matter. Hana is doing this to see if Yukina still has that dueling spirit of hers. It makes sense."
"Another reason I chose this location is because it's familiar to us." Hana said. "This brings back memories, doesn't it?"
"Sure does. We came up here and dueled each other all the time." Yukina said as this place was symbolic to both of them. "Okay, Hana. Let's see if you still got it."
"I think you mean you." Hana said as both of them activated their duel disks and were ready to go.
"Let's duel!" They both said as they started their duel and had 4000LP.
"I'll get this duel started." Hana said as she went first. "I summon XX-Saber Boggart Knight to the field!" She started this duel by summoning out her knight-like beast with it having 1900atk points. "When Boggart Knight is summoned, I can summon out another X-Saber to join the party. Say hello to XX-Saber Fulhelmknight!" She said as she summoned out her tuner monster with it having 1300atk points. "With that, I'll now tune my level three Fulhelmknight with my level four Boggart Knight!" She said as she started the synchro process. "I synchro summon X-Saber Souza!" She summoned out the same monster as it before with it emerging with 2500atk points.
"She already synchro summoned?!" Kent said as he was impressed she pulled it off.
"She's good. I wonder how Yukina is going to deal with her." Cray said.
"Next, I activate Gottoms' Second Call!" Hana said said. "This brings back Fulhelmknight and Boggart Knight, but they'll lose all their power." Hana said as both of her monsters came back, but with 0atk points. "Now, I can synchro summon again!" She said as she started the process all over again. "I synchro summon X-Saber Urbellum!" She said as she brought out a second monster with it having 2200atk points. "I'll place one card facedown and that ends my turn."
"Two synchro summons in one turn?! That's pretty impressive to pull off." Felix said. "How is Yukina going to top that?"
"It's my turn! I draw!" Yukina said as she drew her card. "I'll kick this off by summoning my Wild Ally Bull to the field!" She summoned out her bull as it emerged with 1500atk points. "I'm also going to equip it with the spell card Wild Rage! With this spell card, my bull gains another 800atk points. The problem is that it only works when my bull is the one who is attacking."
"Only when her bull attacks? How is that going to help?" Cindy questioned.
"Do the math. It will make it stronger than Urbellum." Felix pointed out. "She might not be able to beat Souza with it, but she can at least take down that other monster."
"That's exactly what I'm going to do! Wild Ally Bull, charge in and attack Urbellum!" Yukina said as her bull was ready to charge.
"Think again!" Hana said as she had a trap ready. "I activate my Blitz Demise trap! This will destroy your attacking monster and you take damage equal to it's original attack points! However, there is a way for you to stop this. All you have to do is discard a card from your hand."
"Is that so? Well, I'll do just that." Yukina said as she discarded a card and it ended up being a monster with Hana's trap being nullified. "That actually works to my benefit since the card I discarded was a Wild Ally. You see, my bull doesn't it like it when it's friends go to the graveyard. Whenever that happens, he gains 500atk points." She said with her bull's power increasing to 2000. "And don't forget my Wild Rage is still in effect!" Her bull's power increased even more to 2800. "Now, charge in and take down her Urbellum!" She said as her bull charged and smashed right against Urbellum with it being destroyed and Hana's life points dropping to 3400. "I'll just place one card facedown myself and that ends my turn." Since it was the end of her turn, her bull's power dropped to 2000. 'Luckily, I have a trap of my own that can help.' She thought.
"It's my turn! I draw!" Hana said as she drew her card. "I bet you're planning on something with that facedown, but I'm afraid it's just not simply going to work. I summon X-Saber Ana Piranha!" She summoned out a a female warrior this time as it now had 1800atk points. "While having two monsters would be helpful, I'm afraid I only need one this time."
"What is she doing?!" Kent said.
"Souza has two abilities and I can choose which one to use." Hana said. "I tribute Ana Piranha so that Souza can be immune to your traps!" She said as Ana Piranha disappeared and Souza was empowered. "I bet you were planning to use that face-down to stop Souza, but it can't work now! Attack!" She said as Souza used a cross attack at her bull and slashed against it with it being destroyed.
"Your hunch was a little off!" Yukina said. "I activate Fury of Wilderness! This trap does double damage the I take, but since you attacked a Wild Ally, this trap causes both of us to take the damage." Yukina still took some damage with her life points dropping to 3000, but Hana took damage as well with her life points dropping to 2400.
"I thought for sure that trap would stop my Souza, but you managed to inflict damage to both of us." Hana said. "Not bad when you still have more life points." She said as she ended her turn.
"That was good, but not good enough. She needs to figure out how she's going to get rid of Souza." Felix said.
"Her phoenix might be the only way to do so." Cray said.
"Maybe, but I think Yukina has something else up her sleeve." Cindy said.
"It's my turn!" Yukina said as she drew her next card. "I activate Charitable Reward! By paying 800LP, I'm allowed to draw two more cards." She said as her life points dropped to 2200 and drew two more cards. Neither of them were her phoenix, but they might help. "I summon Wild Ally Badger!" She said as she summoned out a vicious black and white badger with it having 1900atk points. "Wild Ally Badger, attack!"
"Do what?! It's not strong enough?!" Hana said.
"That's where it's ability comes in! When my badger is the one attacking, it can't be destroyed in battle and you're the one that takes the damage!" Yukina said. Her badger leaped right at Souza, but Souza deflected it. However, Hana was the one that took damage with Hana's life points dropping to 1800. "I place one card facedown and end my turn."
"That wasn't half bad, but Yukina's grasping at straws here. What is she planning?" Kent said.
"One thing I know about Yukina is that she has a plan. We'll just have to watch." Felix said.
"My turn!" Hana said as she drew a card. "I'll start by summoning another tuner monster: X-Saber Pashuul!" Hana summoned out another monster as it emerged with 100atk points. "Next, I tune my level two Pashuul with Souza!" She said as she was synchro summoning for a third time with Pashuul turning into two circles, digitized Souza, and two turned into nine with a beam shooting through. "I synchro summon the most power warrior of the X-Saber ordeal! XX-Saber Gottoms!" She summoned out her most powerful monster as it emerged with 3100atk points.
"That's her most powerful monster?!" Cindy said.
"It's even stronger than Life Destroyer!" Kent called.
"It is... Which means that this is the ideal opponent for Yukina to face after what happened." Cray said as he saw what he was doing.
"Gottoms, attack her Wild Ally Badger!" Hana called as her monster wielded its sword and slashed it straight down on Yukina's badger with it destroyed and Yukina's life points dropping to 1800. "We're even now, but that's about to change. I activate Slash Bash! When a warrior-type monster destroys a monster, half of that monster's attack points are taken out of your life points." Another powerful slash came at Yukina and struck against her. Her life points dropped down even more 850. "On the bright side, you get to summon one monster from your graveyard."
"She can?" Cindy said.
"The only one that can help is her badger because of it's ability, but that's not enough." Felix said.
"So, Yukina? Which monster are you bringing out?" Hana questioned.
"Actually, it's monsters! I'm bringing back the card I discarded: Wild Ally Otter!" Yukina said as she brought out a river otter with it having 300atk points. "And that triggers his special ability! When he's special summoned, I can summon the other two I have in my deck!" She said as two more joined her on the field.
"Aw... Those three are so cute." Cindy said as she loved them.
"But how can those little rodents help her?" Kent questioned.
"This should be interesting." Hana said as her turn ended and she waited to see what Yukina would do.
"My turn!" Yukina said as she drew her next card. "And I think it's time we ended this! My otters have another ability! All three of them can attack you directly!" Hana didn't expect that. "Go on and play, boys!" She said as her otters slid across the field. They moved around Gottoms and straight to Hana as each one tackled her and caused her life points to drop down to 900 from each attack. "And with that, this duel is over. I'm activating the trap: Small Strike! Since you just took direct damage from monsters that have less than a 1000atk points, you take damage equal to their combined attack points!" That's just enough to end this duel here as energy flowed through all three otters and blasted against Hana with her life points dropping to zero. The duel was over and she won.
"She won! I knew she find a way!" Cindy said.
"I think it's safe to say that she's back to her normal self." Felix said as they all liked seeing that.
"Nice moves, Yukina. Just like old times." Hana said as Yukina walked over and helped her up. "Of course, those kinds of tricks won't work on Raika when you face him."
"Maybe not, but I'll be ready for when we do face him." Yukina said as she was feeling confident once again.
"Well, I certainly don't want to miss that. I think I should stick around to keep an eye on you." Hana said.
"Keep an eye on me? Do I need to remind you of all the times I saved your butt?" Yukina questioned as the two of them bantered like the old friends they were. It seems that Hana will be sticking around for a while, and that's good. With what's coming, Yukina's going to need her friends.

The Black Ace
While Yukina was getting her confidence back, the Black Ace organization was at work. Raika has been getting stronger himself. He's been training and working on bringing out Life Destroyer's full power once again. Raika dueled against others and was growing stronger and stronger. Diego was most pleased with this.
"It would seem things are going splendidly." Diego said as he liked what he was seeing. "I think it's safe for us to move to the next phase of our plans. That's where you come in." He said as he turned to someone else. Someone that just like to cause some trouble with how he smirked. It looks like the Black Ace is making their move.
