Yukina's back to her normal self and can't wait to grow stronger for the next time she faces Raika and stops the Black Ace. Now that she feels like herself again, everyone returned to the city and continued on with their day. Hana even came with them since she wants to help Yukina bring those guys down. It was then that Felix told them about a fun event.

"The Survival Duel?!" Yukina, Kent, Hana, Cindy, and Cindy's friends all gathered at Felix's store and shared with them some news about a fun event. Felix held up a poster about it and explained it all.

"It's a fun event the WDA, Worldwide Duel Affiliation which is one of the biggest dueling organizations across the globe, is hosting." Felix said. "Around a hundred duelists are all gathered on an island and face each other in constant dueling action. What's more is that they'll grant whoever wins one wish, as long as it's in their power."

"They'll really grant a wish?" Cindy said.

"Any wish we want?!" Kent said.

"Sure does. It's a great opportunity. I myself am entering in it." Felix said. "Just think of all the powerful duelists you can face. It's too good to pass."

"I've got to say that it does sound rather fun." Hana said.

"Any wish we want could be granted! If I win, I would definitely wish for a brand new duel disk. Would they give me the latest model?" Cathy said.

"Of course." Felix said.

"I probably wish for a trip to anywhere in the world." Anne claimed.

"They'll even pay for it, within reason of course." Felix said.

"I probably wish for a boyfriend." Tina said with her getting giddy.

"Uh... I don't know about that." Felix said.

"Yukina, what do you think? Should we enter?" Cindy questioned.

"Yeah, we should enter. I don't know about the wish, but I would love to face all those challenges. Just imagine how many powerful duelists there must be." Yukina said.

"Hang on for a second." Hana whispered to her. "What about Raika and the Black Ace? Shouldn't we focus on them?"

"Maybe, but the stronger the challenge, the stronger I can get. Plus, we don't know where they are." Yukina said. "They abandoned their last hideout and are in hiding now. They could be anywhere."

"I see your point." Hana said as that would be a problem.

"I say we all sign up for this!" Kent said with all of them agreeing on that.

The Airport

Everyone who signed up for the event all gathered at the airport. There about one-hundred duelists gathered. Of course, when Cray found out about an event like this one, he signed up himself. Yukina and the others certainly like the turnout.

"Look at all these duelists!" Cindy said.

"Oh yeah! This is going to be awesome!" Kent said.

"The Survival Duel... Sounds like my kind of action." Cray said.

"And look who else is here. I see Sylvia." Yukina said as they spotted her.

"Oh great... I see Tasu." Kent said as they saw that troublemaker was in on it as well. Still, it was quite the turnout and it looked like it was going to be a blast.

"I can't wait for this to get started." Yukina said.

"Welcome, duelists!" All of them looked to a blimp that was carrying a monitor and they saw someone on it. "You are all here because you signed up for the Survival Duel and aiming to be the one who stands above the rest!"

"Hold on... I think I saw that guy when I first came to town." Yukina said.

"That's M.C." Felix said. "He acts the actual emcee for events like this one. When there isn't one going on, he's usually found in the arena at duel park. He's always giving the play-by-play."

"Please board the plane and we can begin." M.C. said. They all climbed up on the plane for them and were all excited to get started. As soon as they all climbed on, the plane took off and everyone was heading somewhere for this event.

"This is pretty cool. Where do you think we're going?" Yukina questioned as she enjoyed the flight.

"I think they mentioned something about this event being held on some sort of island." Felix said as the two of them sat together.

"Okay!" M.C. announced as he came on the monitor. "We are near our destination. Just have look out the window and you just might see a remote island." All of them tried to take a look and could see one just below them. "That entire island will be the dueling field."

"The whole island?!" Yukina said.

"The Survival Duel is just as it says." M.C. said as he explained the rules. "It will be a free-for-all. The last duelist left standing will be the one who wins. It doesn't matter how you do it as long as you are left standing, but losing just one duel means you are out. However, that doesn't mean you have to go alone. You can partner up with someone else or you can hide and keep a low profile until you feel that it's safe."

"Now I get why it's called the Survival Duel." Yukina said. "Just one loss and it's over."

"And of course, the last one standing will have whatever wish they like they granted that is within our power. Keep in mind that we have cameras set everywhere so we can monitor who is defeated and who might be cheating." M.C. said. "Now, if you will all reach underneath your seats, you'll find yourselves parachutes."

"Parachutes?" Yukina questioned.

"Take a look. Something tells me we better put these on." Felix said. Everyone could see where this was going and braced themselves for what was to come.

"Get ready! You're free to start dueling the moment you hit the ground! Starting...now!" M.C. said as they flew right over the island and floor underneath everyone opened up with all of them actually plummeting to the island. That certainly gave everyone a jumpstart, but everyone was able to open their parachutes and slowly descend down to the ground.

"Oh man. Next time they should give us a warning about that." Yukina complained.

"Hey, Yukina!" Sylvia said.

"Sylvia! It's been a while!" Yukina said.

"Sure has, but I'm aiming to win. I'll see you on the ground." Sylvia said as she headed on down. It sounded like she plans to enjoy herself instead of just winning.

"Yukina, I must admit I'm rather excited." Hana said as she floated past her. "It's been quite a while since I've been in an actual event. I'm aiming to win, of course."

"We'll see about that." Yukina taunted as she was looking forward to facing her friend.

"There must be a lot of powerful duelists here! Hey, Cray! Let's stick together!" Kent called.

"No way!" Cray said as that wasn't what Cray wanted. "What's the point in teaming up when there's only one winner. If you can't win with your own power, you shouldn't be the winner at all." He said as he floated down and was moving past Yukina. "Yukina! Make sure you make it to the finals! You're the one I'll be aiming for in this!"

"I'll keep that in mind." Yukina said as it looks like Cray is going in alone.

"Hey! Cray! Wait!" Kent called. "I just thought it be beneficial, but I'll show you! I'll make it with my own power!" Kent said as he made his way down. That just left Cindy.

"Cindy!" Yukina called. "What are you going to do?!"

"I... I think I'll go on my own, test my strength! Maybe I can make it to the finals!" Cindy said.

"In that case, I'll see you there!" Yukina said as she made her way down. It was all for one on this event. All the duelists touched down. However, there was something no one knew about. There was one duelist that landed down on the island that gave off a feeling that was quite troubling. As for Yukina and Felix, the two of them landed down together.

"Well, it looks like we're in this together, Yukina." Felix said.

"The Survival Duel is underway!" M.C. announced with his face up on the blimp. "Only one will stand as the winner! Let's see who that will be!" He announced and then the number 100 appeared on the screen.

"One-hundred?" Yukina said.

"I bet that's however many duelists are in the game." Felix said.

"Let's duel!" The two of them could hear that dueling action was already going on and the Survival Duel has begun. Everyone was dueling to be the one that was left standing.

"Sounds like it already started." Yukina said.

"Yukina, over here." Felix said as they checked something out. They both looked and saw one duelist was facing three opponents at once and it wasn't looking good for that poor soul. "Three on one?"

"M.C. did say that you can partner with other duelists. It's allowed." Yukina said. Those three duelists kept going until that one and only duelist was knocked out.

"And the life points are already dropping as one duelist has already been taken down." M.C. announced as the number dropped from 100 to 99.

"This is awesome! It's a free-for-all with the fireworks already starting!" Yukina said as she could barely contain her excitement.

"Hey! Isn't that Yukina?"

"Yeah! That's her!"

"Oh man! Just imagine if we beat her! She can't take on all three of us!" Those three are aiming their sights on her.

"Let's even the odds." Felix said as he was joining in the duel himself. This is going to be one heck of a duel. The event is going on with many duelists dueling and being taken down. Cindy, Cray, and Sylvia have all done rather well as they cleaned right through their opponents and the number was dropping.

Kent

"Attack now!" Kent called as he had his general attack his opponent and won his duel.

"Another one bites the dust!" M.C. announced as the number dropped down to 95.

"Yeah! I'm heading for the top!" Kent shouted as he was heading straight for there. However, he stumbled right into a trap as a net pulled him right into the air and his deck fell right out. "What the heck?! What's going on?! Is this part of the game?!"

"Kent!" He looked and saw Cathy, Anne, and Tina all fell into the same trap as him.

"What are you three doing here?!" Kent said.

"Just hanging." All three of them said. Something was off with this whole thing and they soon found out why.

"Looks like I got some bites. You all fell for it." All four of them looked and saw it was Tasu's work.

"Tasu! I should have known you were behind this!" Kent said. "What the heck are you doing now?! Let us out of here!"

"I will. Only if you four agree to team-up with me in this competition." Tasu offered. "You four smoke away the competition and I'll be the one that wins in the end."

"No way!" Cathy said.

"Why would we ever team-up with someone like you?" Anne said.

"Yeah. All you do is play tricks and cheats. Why would we help you?" Tina said.

"Well, look at what I have here." Tasu said as he showed he had all four of their decks. "Such nice cards. It would be a shame if they get ruined." He said as he walked over to a small cliff and threatened to throw all their cards into the water.

"Hey! You can't do that!" Kent called as they all didn't like this.

"So, we have a deal then." Tasu said as he thought he had them.

"No way!" Anne said.

"What?! Don't you care about your decks?!" Tasu said.

"Of course we do, but there are some things more important than winning like spirit, heart, and always playing fair!" Kent called.

"Playing fair?!" Tasu said. "You've got to be kidding with that childish stuff. Don't say I didn't warn you." He was about to throw their decks in the water, but he didn't get the chance. Someone grabbed him by the arm and stopped him. They all saw it was Cindy and she took the decks back.

"Cindy! You're timing is perfect!" Kent called as Cindy hurried over to the ropes and set them all free.

"I heard shouting and saw what was going on." Cindy said as she was able to get all of them down. When that happened, Tasu found himself cornered as all five of them wanted a piece of him. "Tasu, you really are low. Well, let's see how you deal in a real duel."

"Hold on! Five on one?! That's not very fair!" Tasu said. "I knew it! You didn't really mean what you said."

"Don't give us that when what you're about was even worse!" Kent said. "Besides, they said it's allowed here; but if you're really going to be a baby about it, pick who you want to face!"

"In that case..." Tasu said as he grabbed a rock. "I'll just smash all your duel disks and make sure you can't duel!"

"Whoa! Hold on!" M.C. announced. "Tasu is disqualified for cheating and unsportsmanlike conduct!" He claimed with the number dropping even more.

"What?! Seriously?! What is it with everyone making a big deal about playing fair?!" Tasu said.

"Tough luck, Tasu! Maybe now you'll learn to play a little more fair." Cindy taunted.

"Not a chance! In fact, here's what I think about that!" Tasu said as he took something else out. He threw actual stink bombs at them and that caused a cloud of stink to surround them. All five of them could barley take the smell. "Later!" He called as he pushed right through them and ended up shoving Cindy over the cliff.

"Cindy!" Kent called as he dived after her to save her. Just like that, things started to get crazy around here.

Yukina and Felix

Yukina and Felix teamed up against the three duelists from before. With their combined powers, the two of them were able to take down all three of them.

"Three duelists have been defeated once again!" M.C. announced as the number of duelists have dropped down to 90 so far.

"Yeah!" The two of them said as they high-fived.

"You know, Yukina... I got an idea." Felix said. "How about you and I stick together until the end? We'll be able to clear through this faster and we're both sure to make it."

"Sure. I'm good with that." Yukina agreed as things were looking good for them. As for Hana herself, she remained in the trees and watched things unfold.

"So, Yukina is teaming up with Felix. Those two make quite a team." Hana said. "Still, it's going to take more than small fry like that to beat Yukina. That's why I'm just going to lay low until there's real competition left standing." She thought this was going to be a breeze, but just then something happened.

"Oh my goodness! One duelist has just taken out ten duelists at once!" M.C. announced. Hana was surprised to hear that, as were Yukin and Felix.

"One duelist took down ten at once?! There's no way!" Hana said. Whoever did that had to have been one powerful duelist, and maybe the strongest one on the whole island. Just who could it be?

"Did you hear that, Felix?" Yukina questioned.

"I sure did. Who could be that powerful?" Felix questioned.

"I don't know, but I suddenly got a bad feeling about this."Yukina said as she feels there's trouble. What is going to happen from here? Who could that powerful duelist be? Who is going to be the one that wins it all in the end?
