Law now became very aware of his surroundings since yesterday he saw Baby Five. But after the Spanish class he couldn't see neither Baby Five nor Miss Monet anywhere. The later was always present in the teacher's staff room whenever he went there. He was suspicious but didn't let his guard down even for a moment. Law didn't even interacted with his group yesterday ignoring them as he ignored Luffy and went about his way.

When he entered the class, the first thing he did was check the whole room for Baby Five's presence and was surprised not to find her. Before he could take a step forward he heard a voice from behind.

"What'chu doing?"

Who was none other than Luffy much to his annoyance. Law couldn't understand this guy. At one moment he acts friendly and next he flirts with him.

"None of your business," Law replied and went to his usual seat since no one was there. And much to his dismay Luffy followed and before he could place a bag Luffy sat beside him which ticked him off.

"Can't you sit somewhere else?" Law asked irritated.

"Nope. I wanna seat beside Torao!" Luffy replied happily.

Law decided to ignore Luffy till Miss Monet came and decided to go through his other homework. Surprisingly Luffy didn't disturbed him much but Law could feel Luffy staring at him the whole time which he ignored.

The door opened and in came someone who was not Miss Monet. But surprisingly Luffy seemed excited to see this person.

"I am Nico Robin. Since Miss Monet has taken leave I will be teaching you from now on. Will somebody kindly tell me till where did Miss Monet taught you?", the new teacher introduced. The front benchers immediately replied while other half were commenting on how hot the teacher was.

Law was disgusted by the later group and turned his attention to Luffy, looking at him suspiciously. Luffy looked at Law and had a question mark look on his face.

Law decided to bite the bullet and ask, his tone suspicious, "How do you know the new teacher?"

"Oh! Robin is friend. She is the one who knows Russian and Spanish," Luffy replied happily.

"So why didn't you studied from her?" Law questioned.

Luffy looked at Law like he was an idiot and replied, "I love making new friends and studying together in classroom is fun."

"And here you are not listening to the lecture," Law commented which made Luffy pout and they both concentrated on class.

When the class got over Law was in a hurry since he had to hurry for the next class. But Luffy who was sitting in aisle side was blocking his way.

"What now?" Law asked gritting his teeth.

"Have lunch with me!" Luffy said cheerily.

"Stop pestering me you brat!" Law said exasperated.

"Hey! I am older than you. You are the one who is acting like a brat!" Luffy replied.

"Excuse me! You are the one who started demanding things from me and acting like a brat!" Law said angrily.

"Because you are being boring and grumpy. You are in college, you should enjoy a bit!" Luffy harrumphed.

"My apologies. Maybe because you are annoying that's why I don't want to spend time with you," Law replied sarcasm heavy in his voice.

"Have Lunch with me," Luffy again said and as an after thought added, "Please."

Law was this close to hit Luffy since he was getting late for his classes but somehow he knew if he keep resisting he would be late for classes so he begrudgingly said, "Fine. I have my lunch at 12.30. If after making me late for next class you don't show up today, I am going to ignore you forever. Now get aside!"

Luffy obeyed and was grinning brightly. Law hurried from there but he heard the words clearly, "I won't be late!"

Luffy heard someone chuckle and forgot that Robin was there.

"Torao kun seems like an interesting person," Robin commented which made Luffy laugh as if agreeing with her.

Law was sitting at his usual table with his group of friends and no Luffy in his sight for the past fifteen minutes. He was a bit glad that Luffy didn't show up since that means he could ignore him for the whole semester and after that, if he continues the class. But something in Luffy interested him. And that is not Luffy showing interest in him but Luffy knowing so many langauges when he seems an idiot. Maybe Law is judging a book by it's cover and he should actually get to know the guy a bit.

There was a loud clatter of someone keeping their tray on the empty seat on their group's table which quieted their chatter and also Law's thoughts.

"Hello Torao and Torao's friends!" Luffy greeted them happily and began to dig in his food as if he was not fed in the past one week.

The whole table was confused and interested in Luffy's behavior.

"Excuse me but there is no Torao here. I am sorry!" Bepo said meekly.

Luffy then pointed his finger at Law and said, food still in his mouth, "mmffo."

The whole table was silent for a bit but then the troublemakers Shachi, Penguin and Ikkaku bursted out laughing while Jean Bart chuckled and Bepo gave a confused look.

Law ignored that and said, "Took your sweet time, didn't you?"

"I got lost while coming here," Luffy gulped the food and replied.

"And what about your classes?" Law questioned.

"They were boring lectures so I bunked," Luffy replied side by side gulping the food.

"Why are you even in college then?" Law asked exasperated which Luffy just shrugged.

"You are an interesting guy but what's your name?" Penguin asked.

"Monkey D Luffy! Torao's best friend!" Luffy replied joyfully.

"Excuse me!" The whole table including Law said together exasperatedly.

"We are Law's best friends and we won't allow anyone to come and claim that Law is their best friend!" Shachi said.

"You are just people I know not best friends!" Law protested but was ignored.

"Then if not best friend, can I be his boyfriend?" Luffy asked question mark on his face.

The whole table was silent at that but Law was the one who in anger said, "What the hell Luffy ya!? I am not interested! Stop pestering me!"

"Shush Law!" Shachi said in a stern tone. Law was shocked at his tone since he never used it at him but nevertheless thought that his friends might help him.

"So you are interested in Law, huh?" Shachi continued in the same tone asking Luffy.

"Yup! He is very pretty! And grumpy! Like a cat!" Luffy said happily.

Law seriously didn't know what to do with Luffy. His face was getting red due to…. anger and not embarrassment.

"Huh? But you know Law for only two days. I am sorry," Bepo stated meekly.

"I know. So I was thinking of taking Torao on lots of dates to know about each other and enjoy food!" Luffy replied as if he gave a good solution.

"Law," Penguin called his name but didn't say more. He was looking at Law with a serious face. Law was already irritated by Luffy's words so he snapped at Penguin, " What? Say what's on your mind!"

"Go on dates with him. He is nice and on top of that such a cutie!" Penguin said happily while Shachi nodded his head in agreement.

Law was shocked at what came out of Penguin's mouth. He looked at the others. Ikkaku had a blank look on her face while Jean Bart's face looked as if contemplating. And Bepo was confused at all this.

Law then firmly said, "Hell no!"

Luffy pouted at his reply, the audacity of this guy. While Shachi complained, "It's just food and talk. There's no need to worry. And you can skip answering the questions which you want, right Luffy?" He the directed his gaze to Luffy.

"Of course! I won't care if you don't answer questions and I won't ask it later also. If you want to share then alright or I don't care," Luffy replied a bit seriously.

"See! Just agree on one date and see what happens next!" Shachi tried to pursue him.

"Law, it's better to go to different places and observe some things," Penguin advised but he felt like he was talking about something else.

"Fine. But if I don't like I am leaving!" Law agreed albeit grudgingly.

"Yayy! A date with Torao!" Luffy excitedly chanted and then asked,"Is Sunday okay with you?"

"Yes," Law gritted.

"Luffy is it okay if we decide the place?" Ikkaku finally talked.

"Of course! But will there be meat?" Luffy questioned.

"Of course there will be," Ikkau replied amusingly.

"And Luffy," Here came Shachi's stern tone again. Luffy looked at him expectantly for his next words. So Shachi continued, "You are not allowed to go to first base till your third date, got it?"

Luffy looked at him blankly and then asked, "What's first base?"

The table was silent for a long minute. Even though Law has never dated and only agreed due to peer pressure, knew what first base was.

"You really don't know?" Jean Bart questioned to which Luffy shook his head as no.

"That means you are not allowed to kiss Law," Ikkau replied sternly.

"Why would I kiss Torao? We are just going to go on a date," Luffy asked still not understanding.

"Luffy, have you not gone on any date till now?" Penguin questioned.

"Nope. Was not interested till I saw Torao!" Luffy replied jovially. Law felt his cheeks getting warm. He was not at all blushing. He hid his face by looking at something else other than his friends.

"You are too cute and innocent for our grumpy and innocent Law," Shachi exclaimed while clutching his heart dramatically.

"Even if he says no, we will be rooting for you," Penguin acted like he was whispering to Luffy but loudly said it, so that Law could hear.

"One of these days, I am going to break ties with all of you," Law seethed and left from the table.

Luffy looked like he wanted to follow but Shachi's words stopped him.

"Law is not really angry. He is just embarrassed. Nobody showed interest in him only contempt, so if he says something bad don't take it to heart."

"Of course I won't! You guys are so nice and funny! Let's eat together from now on!" Luffy replied while giving a huge grin.

Luffy then looked at his watch and said, "Well I have classes now. Gotta go. See ya!"

The others at the table bidded goodbye and were silent for a minute. When Bepo said quietly.

"Ikkaku? Could you find information? I am a bit worried."

"True. Sometimes things aren't like what it seems," Jean Bart said solemnly.

"Yup. I will be on it but it will take me a day or two but these two idiots are really idiots," Ikkaku said

"What did we do?" Shachi and Penguin asked bewildered.

"Forcing Captain on a date," Ikkaku deadpanned.

"He is too much involved with his plans. He should enjoy his life a bit is what we think," Shachi argued.

"But what if-" Ikkaku started but was cut off by Penguin, "I know that we met him for the first time and there might be some things Luffy might be keeping secret but as far as I can read people's personality, he was his usual self and not a facade. So Captain will be in good hands."

"Penguin is good at reading people so we can trust that Luffy, I am sorry", Bepo commented.

"True. But I am just worried. That Miss Monet and Baby Five are arrested and when I dug around for info, I found that they were from that family," Ikkaku replied, concern in her voice.

"What!" The rest exclaimed.

"So that means they know Captain's location and may try something. We should be on alert," Jean Bart said seriously.

"Yes. And not a word of this to Captain. He was already stressed yesterday and when we send him to that place he is going to be more stressed. It's best if we keep some information to ourselves and help Captain behind the scenes without him knowing it," Ikkaku stated her opinion which the four agreed.
