On February 28th, the siblings had a chill day. No schedules. No show things. Just a chill day.
"I'm going with Luke." Lucy says.
Luke goes to have fun with Lucy as they go to a winter park.
With Chalice and the cups, they go to a show at the theater.
"This is nice." Chalice says.
"I'll say." Cuphead says.
At the winter park, Luke was actually having fun. Lucy smiles and skates with him.
After skating, Luke goes sledding.
Lucy joined him, but she made one mistake. She had forgotten about her anemia. Her body couldn't handle fast speeds.
"Okay, Luke." Lucy says and goes on her coffin sled.
Luke went on his Arctic blue sled. As they went down, Lucy felt lightheaded. She was feeling dizzy before she blacked out.
Luke began to cry. He hated that Lucy couldn't be fun, so he walked off.
Luke's friends came. "Hey, Luke, wanna make snow angels?" Lonnie asked. Luke nods as they do that.
They make a snowman after that, then they go snowboarding. And then they get hot chocolate and hot fudge brownie sundaes.
Lucy woke up in the snow and looked upset and just headed home.
Luke came home later and soon stormed to his room.
"Luke?" Leni asked as she looked concerned. "What's wrong?" Leni asked.
"I wanted time with Lucy at the winter park, but apparently she's not wanting to have fun with me there. I'll just find gentle things to do from here on out." Luke says sadly.
Lucy overhears this and looks down, cursing herself for being born like this.
The next day, Lucy decided to go out with Luke again, wanting to try and make it up to him. She overheard Luke wanting to try and climb the highest mountain ever. She had to do it with him to repair their bond. Luke geared up and sadly left.
"Luke, wait. I'll go with you." Lucy says.
"You acted like you were no fun before." Luke says.
"That was yesterday. I can handle it." Lucy says, willing to force her body past her limits.
"Well, okay." Luke says.
It took them a bit to climb the snow mountain as Luke wanted to go sledding on the mountain hill.
Lucy got out her sleigh. Luke gets his camera and goes down "Wheeee!" He cheered as Lucy went down.
She felt weak, but forced her body to just deal with it.
After some time, they made it, and Lucy didn't pass out.
"That was fantastic…." Luke says.
Lucy nodded as they headed to the winter park. They did some of the gentle activities before doing more intense things.
A few days later, preparations were being made for the Chicago show. But it wasn't all show preparation stuff.
Luke and Oliver went back to university for a while. They got good grades, competed in golf tournaments, and attended Fairway's Spring Fling concert that featured Brad Paisley. Oliver did get drunk that night and sang along to every song.
Lisa smiled at being awarded student of the month for March. Luke and Oliver took her to celebrate after she won her award.
On March 8th, Brandy woke up as he was now 16.
"Happy birthday, Munchkin!" Luna said.
Brandy smiled as they went out to celebrate.
Lynn and Randy went to see a basketball game. Randy was having fun spending time with Lynn.
Sam and Luna took Brandy to a park as Brandy smiled, happy they cared about him.
"Okay, tonight I have to go on for the show." Brandy says.
"I'm sure you can do it." Luna says. Brandy looked nervous.
Meanwhile Oliver was planning on proving why his team was number 1.
"Heh, we got this." Cuphead says.
Brandy was coming back and looked nervous and unconfident.
"Good luck, prepare to be embarrassed." Randy said to him as Brandy looked down.
It seemed the fans took notice of not one, but two brother rivalries. Luke vs. Oliver and Brandy vs. Randy. It got the fans even more hooked.
Brandy sighed, hearing Oliver was going last. He already had a low mental state and he didn't take criticism well.
"Okay, tonight the birthday bash is the show. Whoever does best tonight wins." Bob says as Brandy looked annoyed and unsure of himself with so much pressure on him. Plus Insanity was bugging him again.
Leni got Luke his costume. Luke grinned.
"Time to turn up the charm, rock and roll style!" Chalice says.
Brandy hid in the closet, shaking.
"We can do this!" Chalice says.
The show begins as April and Gemma go on stage.
"Welcome to Chicago, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight, we have a rockin' show for you, live from the Park West concert venue!" April says.
"Tonight will be a quadruple elimination show, putting together our top 26 teams to go to the ANH Soul Showcase show in Baltimore, Maryland. So keep those votes coming, everyone!" Gemma says.
"First up is a group that will make the scene, the Trillion Triplets!" April says.
The triplets smiled coming up as people cheered. They performed "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard.
Alem tuber crossed his arms as the triplets performed.
Luke is pacing back and forth in his fancy glam-rock costume, nervous. Brandy was nervous, too.
Chalice tried to comfort Luke.
"Our dance will be fun!" Chalice says.
"Will it?" Luke asked.
"Yes!" Chalice says.
The crowd cheers as the triplets go offstage.
Soon, the Chipettes go next, doing their version of "Hit Me With Your Best Shot".
The crowd was loving the performance.
"Thank you all!" Brittany says afterwards.
"Okay, we're going to win…" Alvin says.
"I wonder who's more reckless, Cuphead or Alvin?" Simon wondered before realizing what he caused as he saw them setting up dangerous stuff.
Luke shrieked when it was set off near him.
Angry Luigi got hit with a bowling ball to the head.
"Ha!" Alem tuber laughed as fireworks entered his closet.
"Alvin!" Dave says.
"Oops…." Cuphead says.
"Our stuff…" Jack says.
Angry Luigi was dizzy as Lucy patched Luke's wounds up and used magic fixing the damage.
"Are you okay?" Lucy asked. Luke hissed.
"We're screwed! How can we compete with Randy?! Today, you know he is going to try hard, not to mention the main driving part of the show is about a rivalry!" Angry Luigi says as he cracked and rushed off.
Luke looked down miserably and hissed more.
"Coming up next is the Chipmunks!" April says as fans cheered
"We're up!" Alvin says as Simon feels guilty for basically settling up the challenge.
The Chipmunks came on stage and did "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey.
People cheered for them.
Luke was watching from backstage.
"Are you OK?" Luna asked.
"I'm just nervous." Luke says.
Luna holds him. "You'll do great!" She says.
"You will love the song!" Luke says.
"That's the spirit, just keep your head up high!" Luna says.
The Cosmic buddies went up next. Fans cheered as they appeared on stage.
They performed "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" by The Beastie Boys.
People cheered as they smirked and soon finished as fireworks shot up.
Oliver glared at Alem tuber.
When they finished, people cheered.
Luke, Chalice, and Brandy got ready backstage. They knew their performance would blow everyone away.
Alem tuber walked past his brother. "Beat that." Alem tuber says. Brandy ignored his brother's snarky attitude and prepared to be introduced with Luke and Chalice.
"Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for our next group?" April says.
People cheer wildly.
"Coming up next are the stars of the show, the ones that shine brighter than all the stars in the biggest galaxy, Luke Huntington, Mrs. Chalice, and Brandy Waterlash!" Gemma says.
The crowd cheered wildly as they appeared on stage. They then began their performance of "Time Warp" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The song was in the rock music genre.
Fans went insane for this performance. Luke and Chalice were in sync with Brandy, who pulled off incredible moves with them.
The crowd was really into this.
The siblings cheered as Randy was steamed.
Luke's friends were there, all excited as they got into the performance.
Soon, they finished with Luke and Brandy holding Chalice up while star-shaped lights shone behind them, thanks to a few colored crystals.
The crowd roared upon seeing this.
Soon they head backstage, smiling confidently and high-fiving each other.
"Coming up next is Cuphead, Mugman, and Oliver Fox!" Gemma says.
People cheered for them as they appeared on stage. They then perform "You Give Love A Bad Name" by Bon Jovi.
Fans cheered and even sang along to the song.
After that the votes were up. Luke's team was still in first, but the cosmic buddies were ahead of Oliver.
"The better brother won." Brandy says.
"Better?!" Randy glared at Brandy.
"I won this year. Get over it." Brandy says.
Randy leaves mad as everyone cheered for Brandy.
A golden net caught Angry Luigi as the Golden Shooter flew off.
"Brandy!" Skylia says.
Emma tears up.
Alem tuber growled and rushed after The Golden Shooter.
The Golden Shooter shot lasers at Alem tuber, who blocked and was sent down and got up and rushed after the Golden Shooter.
Oliver decided to do it and used magic on the Golden Shooter slamming him down, freeing Angry Luigi.
"Now is the time to use the elemental hurricane!" Angry Luigi says and tries to use it, but shocked himself
Delta spin dashed into the Golden Shooter, sending him away.
Later, Luna set up a party for Brandy. Luke helped as well as Chalice. Chalice was smiling in Luke's arms as Brandy entered.
He looked around as Randy looked annoyed.
"Happy birthday, Brandy and Randy!" Everyone says. The twins are surprised as Brandy is the one grinning.
There was gifts and food. There was also music being played.
Brandy wasn't sure what to do. Luna smiles and gives Brandy her gift.
He opens it, seeing a new Mario Kart playset and smiles.
"Thank you!" Brandy says. Luna smiles and hugs Brandy.
Randy sighs and opens Lynn's gift.
It was a new soccer kit. "Are you still mad?" Lynn asked.
"I can't believe he won this year…" Randy says, seething with anger.
Brandy opens Luke's gift, which was a guide book to unlocking his powers.
"Thanks, Luke." Brandy says.
"You're welcome." Luke says.
Soon, Brandy was playing his video game and then saw his favorite food.
"Dinner's served, Munchkin!" Luna says.
Brandy smiled as Luna fed him. Luke and Chalice made muffins and cake for later.
Savannah baked his favorite pie. Blueberry pie. Brandy was smiling. He had never been treated this well on his birthday before. It was usually ruined.
"He got lucky…dumb luck." Randy says.
While Luke was busy, Brandy considered practicing. "Time for an elemental hurricane!" Angry Luigi says and zapped himself.
"Ha!" Alem tuber laughed.
Jason thinks. "At least Luke's okay." Jason says.
"You're still here?" Emila asked Jason, knowing Jason is rarely around.
Alex helped himself to some hot dogs.
Delta eats a lot. Others were talking.
Soon the piñata was brought out; it was a Bowser piñata. Alem tuber punches it as candy falls out.
Soon, Brandy was bored waiting for cake as Savannah showed him Luke's highlight reel. Brandy smiled. after a while, it was cake time.
Luke smiles and emerges with two cakes, muffins, and the pie Savannah made. Chalice lit the candles and set the cakes before the boys as she began to sing.
Skylia and Bob sing as well as the twins think of their wishes.
Brandy wished he was smarter and Randy wished to win and beat Brandy. The twins blow out the candles as everyone cheers.
After the party, Luke felt a little sad.
"Lukey?" Chalice asked.
"Yes?" Luke says.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"I want my day, I know I failed another major university project, and I know I'll get eliminated eventually…." Luke says sadly.
"Your half-birthday is coming." Chalice says.
"I know that." Luke says. "I'm going to be halfway to 20."
