The grass bends in the wind, leading the eye to the old mansion, its windows boarded, doors locked and unwelcoming. Silver beads of rain fall off his face as he watches it, seeing no sign of anyone living there anymore.

Branth plays with the lock on the door and charges her omni-tool to try and open it. She glances at Thane in the road, observing the house from where he won't take another step towards it…It is his limit. He's barred himself off physically…Only Branth can step inside and find out what has happened to his son.

Crystal lines the windows on the inside as she enters, having broken through the security, her blond hair slicked back behind a headset with her ponytail over her armor's collarguard.

Something tells her she has just missed him…They both have.

Branth looks up at the pictures on the walls…Some sad, some smiling, others are for the most part lonely.

She comes out alone and approaches Thane, "…Place is empty."

His eyes blink, wiping off rain from his lenses, "…We are too late."

Branth looks off at the forest around the field, "…Maybe…Maybe we just need to look harder, Krios."

His black eyes turn with his face towards her, "…Maybe."

The clouds are thickening.

Branth leads him back to the ship.
