On June 1st, Luke got an invitation to the cup brothers' 17th birthday party at the local Incredible Pizza Company. It was going to be a celebration of their birthday and the start of summer vacation. It was Chalice's idea.

Lucy was in her room, holding Edwin and looking broken. She cried. Lincoln and Lynn came in.

"S-Stay b-back…" Lucy stammered.

"It's us, Lucy. Lincoln and Lynn." Lincoln says. Lucy let them come in.

Lucy sniffed, shaking.

"We're so sorry this happened to you." Lincoln says.

The cups were presented with a grand breakfast at the castle. Luke and Chalice even made pancake likenesses of the cup brothers, complete with fruit toppings. Strawberries for Cuphead and blueberries for Mugman. The cups were beyond delighted to see this as they appeared, still in their pajamas.

"Happy birthday, ya ding-dongs!" Chalice says. Luke smiles at the brothers.

"Thanks!" They say.

"And…." Luke says, smiling as he pulls out two crowns. "I made these in the jewel room!" The crowns were gold and had red and blue jewels on them, and they even had the cups' names on them.

"Today, you ding-dongs are practically birthday royalty!" Chalice says.

Cuphead smirked as they were going to perform today, too. Mugman grinned as he looked up at his crown.

"Breakfast first, then we're going to parade you two around Greendale!" Luke says.

They smile at the attention they're getting. Cuphead was excited at the idea of a birthday parade.

Meanwhile, with Oliver, he was getting ready to head to Greendale.

"This will be a great show tonight…." Oliver says to himself.

Meanwhile, the lava monster was trying to punch Delta, who leaped away and smirked and trapped him in a giant box, trapping him and chaining him up as he tried to escape. "Sorry. buddy, next time!" Delta says.

"Tonight we got home field advantage and we're using it to get to the top." Alem tuber says as they smile.

"Okay, so the Cups' birthday is today." Savannah says

"Yeah, they get cool birthdays and everything." Emila groaned, crossing her arms.

"Well, they are friends of Luke and basically, Luke gets everything." Bill says.

"At least the town doesn't hate us anymore." Savannah says as a video was played on the screen.

There was a paint explosion as Jack laughed before a zombie rose up causing him to freak out as it morphed into Delta.

"Not cool!" Jack says as Alem tuber tossed a honeycomb. Delta looks at it as bees come. The cosmic buddies start pranking each other.

Later that morning, Luke presented the cups with royal robes in their colors and smiled.

"Are you boys ready for this? This is the time where you shine brighter than your birthday candles!" Luke says.

They nod and put their robes on, then Luke leads them to their birthday parade float that Chalice designed.

"Wow!" The cups say as they climb onto it. It was red and blue and candy-themed, and of course, there's even a floral sculpture of Dirk Dangerous on it. Luke was proud of that detail as he worked hard on that.

Luke then cues up the Greendale High School marching band as the cups' birthday parade begins. The band is playing "Celebration" as everyone is seeing this.

People cheered and some people wanted interviews with the birthday boys.

"How are you doing?" One guy asked.

"Amazing!" Cuphead says.

"Now I gotta ask, are the cosmic buddies jerks?" He asked.

"They totally are, I'm sure they're cheating." Cuphead says.

"Yeah, they are cheating." Oliver says

"How old are you boys today?" A girl asks, smiling at them.

"17, it's obvious! Oh, since it's my birthday, I'm selling merch." Cuphead bragged.

"Me, too!" Mugman says.

Lucy watched this on TV as she sniffed. She saw Luke had been planning the cups' birthday celebration with Chalice, but he didn't mention the parade until today. She contemplated attending the show tonight.

"Lucy, you gotta go support Luke." Lola says.

"Yeah!" Lana says.

Lucy sniffed. "Cuphead did it again…but I think…I think I might…l-l-l…." She tried to finish the word she was looking for.

"What is it?" Lynn asked.

"L-Love him…." Lucy stammered.

"He raped you." Lola says.

"I know. But if he loves me, then I just have to accept it." Lucy says. "I can't stay like this forever."

"Lucy, no. You're not going to let him push you. He raped you twice." Lynn says. But Charity comes in at that moment.

"Is there a problem with her dating the cup?" Charity asked.

"Yeah, we're not sure if it's a toxic relationship. I'm just worried." Lynn says, tearing up. She didn't like not being there for her siblings.

"Sweetie, I can tell you this. The second time wasn't rape. That was definitely Cuphead's way of confessing." Charity says.

"You know what? I'm not going to talk about this anymore." Lynn says.

Lucy goes to find Cuphead. She sees him throwing beads off of the parade float and laughing. Some of the bead strands hang off his straw.

She just watched the parade, She even caught some dark purple beads that Cuphead threw off the float.

"Am I in love?" Lucy asked herself. Cuphead winked at her.

Lucy froze and just hid her emotions for now.

"We gotta find the triplets. If we don't win this fight, there will be nothing left to fight for. We gotta save Luke." Savannah says.

"Yeah!" The other Cosmic buddies say as they head out.

Mugman looks at Cuphead, who is having the time of his life in this parade.

He smiled, planning to propose to Margo tonight.

After the parade, Margo smiled at Mugman's royal outfit.

"Happy Birthday! Wow, you look so regal!" Margo says to Mugman. He smiled at her.

"Yeah, I think the Cosmic buddies are maybe cheating. Randy wasn't that good." Luke says.

"Luke, no!" Bill says.

"Huh?" Luke said.

Angry Luigi looked broken And rushed off.

"Oh, great, he ran off. Delta, Randy, go make sure Insanity doesn't get Loose. Luke we need to stop the triplets and fix the mess Cuphead caused for you by accident you just called Brandy A cheater " Bill says

"Wait…oh, Brandy is a cosmic buddy…I forgot. Wait, why would they do something?" Chalice asked

"To make us suffer, and to win. If we don't take down the video and upload the new video, the cosmic buddies are doomed." Chrissy says.

Luke feels bad, but finds Lisa. "Lisa, please delete the video. For me…." Luke says looking broken.

"What? Oh shoot, everyone is hating on the cosmic buddies? Don't worry, I got your back." Lisa says.

Insanity was sent down as Delta teleported and kicked him back. Insanity blasted her.

Soon, it was all cleared up.

"And Luke's fan base is back." Lisa says as Luke looks nervous.

"You can do this!" Lisa says.

The siblings began motivating him and the siblings wrapped him in a group hug.

"It's okay. You'll win!" Luna says.

Luke sighed that night at the Greendale Amphitheater.

Angry Luigi came in, looking down. "He lost his sanity again." Alem tuber says, crossing his arms.

"Good luck, brother." Emma says.

April and Gemma go on stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Greendale Amphitheater! Tonight, it's the site where our top 18 teams perform for our Radical 90's Revue show!" April says.

"Tonight is a quintuple elimination as we prepare to send our top 13 teams into the ANH Broadway Battle show that will be in New York City! Votes are crucial to sending your picks to that show!" Gemma says.

"So, first up in this Radical 90's Revue show, I present our first team, the Cosmic buddies!" April says.

The arena cheered as they came up. They do a performance of "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice.

The crowd went wild and gave them a standing ovation afterwards as the platinum button was pressed for them.

"Let's go!" Reilly says

"Ha, we really did it!" Alex says.

"Woo-hoo!" Alem tuber says.

They head offstage.

Backstage, Angry Luigi looks down, feeling like he'd lose. He tears up. Chalice looks at him.

"No, no…no mopey-faces!" Chalice says. "Remember my song we sang at our last practice?"

He nods. Chalice then starts singing it again.

"You gotta slap on a smile, throw in some pep! And be sure to put a spring in your step, 'cause you can get anything by turning up the charm! You gotta kick up your heels, hands in the sky, And don't forget the little gleam in your eye…." Chalice sings, smiling at the boys.

Soon the Chipmunks went up and sang a remix of their classic, "Witch Doctor". Everyone cheered.

"Coming up next are the Trillion Triplets!" Gemma says.

The crowd cheers as they appear in black suits and do a performance of "Men In Black" by Will Smith.

Lucy was planning Luke's half birthday as it made her happy. She was starting to heal.

"I'll go out and buy his cake soon. Then his presents and balloons, then the golf game." Lucy thinks with a smile.

The cups and Oliver wait to be introduced as the Chipmunks finish.

"Coming up next…a trio that is a real show stopper! Presenting Oliver Fox, Cuphead, and Mugman!" Gemma says.

People cheered as the cups and Oliver appeared.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CUPPY AND MUGSY!" The crowd shouted and cheered for the cups.

They smiled and began their performance of "MMMBop" by Hanson as girls screamed for them and Oliver.

Backstage, Luke, Chalice, and Brandy are getting ready. Luke knew what Mugman would be doing after their performance. So did Chalice.

"Sorry we called you a cheater." Chalice says to Brandy.

Lucy was still planning and writing Luke poems again.

The cups and Oliver soon finish to a roaring crowd.

"Can Margo Roberts join me here on stage?" Mugman asked.

"And Lucy Huntington, too…" Cuphead says.

Lucy froze as she was nervous. Margo walked with her up to the stage.

"Margo Roberts, you are the woman of my dreams…." Mugman says

"Lucy, you're so beautiful." Cuphead says.

"Will you marry me?" The boys said, each taking a knee. Mugman had an opal & sapphire ring while Cuphead showed Lucy a ruby ring.

"Mugsy! Of course, of course! Yes!" Margo says.

"No." Lucy says with her monotone voice.

People cheered for Mugman. But Cuphead shattered and ran backstage in tears.

Lucy walked off. The show went to commercials from there.

"Oh, Cuphead…I am so sorry…" Chalice says, holding him.

Cuphead sniffed. "She rejected me on my birthday…" He sobbed. "I can't believe it…"

Lucy walked to find Lincoln. Lincoln sees her and the footage from earlier before the show cut to commercial.

"I can explain…" Lucy says.

"You broke him…and his heart." Luna says.

Lucy looked down, her eyes looked lifeless, but she nodded and went to find him.

Cuphead was in pieces as Chalice and Mugman tried to comfort him.

Lucy approached him. "Cuphead, would you like to go to dinner sometime?" Lucy asked.

Cuphead looked up at Lucy. "S-Sure…." He says, managing a smile.

Soon, Lucy took him to dinner at a nice restaurant. Cuphead smiled at her.

Luke, Chalice, and Brandy went onstage and performed "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer.

People cheered as they danced in sync.

Girls went wild as Luke smiled and winked at them.

"Nah, you were good. I never said you had no potential." Cuphead says.

"Cuppy, you are the best brother a cup could ask for!" Mugman says, hugging Cuphead.

Margo got him a new pair of shoes. Mugman grinned and hugged Margo.

Soon, Chalice danced for them as they smiled, impressed

"So, Luce, are you in love?" Lori asked.

"I-I don't really know." Lucy says as she looks at Edwin. "He's my lover, but Cuphead isn't that bad. I like his piano skills."

"Why don't you play a song for him?" Lori asked as Lucy looked unsure.

"No, I need to get to planning." Lucy says.

Cuphead overheard and sadly walked off to play games with Mugman.

They played some fun games and sang some songs and soon it was piñata time. The cups grinned at the sight of it.

Luke and Chalice gave the cups some baseball bats. "Break that piñata wide open, boys!" Luke says.

They break the piñata open with a powerful dual swing and smile widely at the sight of the candy falling out of it. They get their shares of it and sit at a table.

"This is the best birthday ever!" Cuphead says.

As everyone eats pizza, Chalice brings out Cuphead and Mugman's baby pictures.

"Awwww!" Oliver says.

"Look at the baby cups!" Luna says.

"Adorable!" Luan says.

"Hey!" Cuphead says, annoyed.

"Lighten up, Cuppy. I think this is nice." Mugman says, eating his pizza.

After that, Luke brings out the cakes. People gasp with delight as he made one for each of the cups. He made Cuphead a Dirk Dangerous cake and Mugman a treasure chest cake with edible gold and jewels. He beamed at the work he put into the cakes.

"This is amazing, Luke!" The cups say. Luke smiled and lit the two sets of #1 and #7 candles on both cakes as Chalice led off the singing.

Cuphead wished to win America's Next Hitmaker. Mugman wished for Luke to have his best half birthday ever.

Both cups blew out their candles as everyone cheered for them. They then took pictures with their cakes before cutting them and getting the first slice out of each.

Lucy was still planning. Cuphead came out with a slice of cake for Lucy.

"I'm busy." Lucy says.

"Oh, sorry, I was only trying to be nice!" Cuphead says, giving Lucy the cake before running off and shedding hot, milky tears.

Lucy looked down, feeling bad that she ruined Cuphead's birthday.
